tomorrow is the day before Thanksgiving (to those who recognize it)

however, Tomorrow means something completely different to me. It’s the 4th year anniversary of when I came out of the closet as trans (and subsequently not accepted by my parents since). I’ve never really felt confident in myself until the past year, and I’m truly the happiest I’ve ever been so SUCK ON THAT MOM. I have two wonderful partners and friends who have all made me want to keep living, even for a little longer. my theme for the outfit is just gender & lack- there-of. I’m also wearing a striped winter beanie and have pink and blue makeup on.

Do you pick songs for the polls randomly, or do you try and single out songs that you feel may be the most divisive? (i.e. songs that are meant to feel unsettling, short loops without much going on) Or is it a mix of the two?

Actually, I've sorta answered this before! but hey I like getting asked stuff so I'll expand on that a bit;

As I had said in the other ask, it's somewhat at random, though left intentionally varied per week (Personal rule (for now) of no 2 songs in a week from the same source) and I try to keep the variety going overall as well (which can be tough as some sources just have way more original music than others)

But it's not random in the sense of any generators or smth, I just manually go into my files and pull up whatever I feel like in the moment! Sometimes, I might slip in something by some kinda intent, like putting in a song i know relates to certain things, or one that I don't think anyone's even aware exists, or maybe one I just personally liker (or dislike) and see if people agree on my own leans or not!

Really it's all kinda on a whim!

On the mentioned-in-other-post factor of some being very much intentionally chosen, that's more like "planned ahead"; i.e (without revealing WHAT it is even though ithink most know) track 50 was selected for the 50th song mark because I wanted to make that notable since. yo 50 songs!

And I've got a few other silli lil plans too, some falling on peculiar days or weeks or numbers, some just "I will do this specific setup Sometime bc it would be funny". I'll spoil that there's one I'll drop at some unknown time im personally referring to as "suck week" because. I'm sure somehow the votes will still skew to yes on them but i can assure i'd be voting no on every single one for that lmao.

ALL OF THAT SAID I am actually intentionally avoiding putting in certain songs too soon or close to eachother, since they are ones I'd see as big-deal songs and I'd like to have them scattered for funsies. Never know when you'll be listenin through a buncha misc tunes and get slammed by Crowned!
