Star Trek Femslash Week 2023 Prompt List

This event runs from the 3rd-9th of September 2023.

The rules for this event are as follows: 1. No explicit material featuring minors, beastiality, or rape/non-con. 2. Dub-con, major character death, and graphic depictions of violence are allowed so long as they are adequately warned for and tagged. 3. OT3s are allowed, as long as the relationship is F/F/F. 4. All works must feature an F/F pairing as the primary ship. 5. As this is an event for celebrating female characters and relationships, we request that you do not include genderbent canonically male characters in works for this event. 6. Written works can be of any length. Art may be of any medium, including graphics and photosets. 7. We will share 14 prompts for the week, including a Free Space. You do not have to participate in every day. 8. If you share your work on Tumblr, tag it #startrekfemslashweek2023 so we can find and share it!

I hope when they have fully hammered out what's going on with the Georgiou-31 movie and what's happening there and who's doing that with her, it'll allow SNW to revisit Ash Tyler. After all, he's a little lingering thread left over from Discovery's first two seasons, and with him functionally being given operational control of 31 after the destruction of Control, basically there's still the matter of figuring out where he and his more altruistic side fit in with the 31 that was willing to commit genocide in the name of ending the Dominion War.

I've figured that he's been kept off the table to this point because there were probably ideas and discussions of maybe including him somehow in the 31 idea when it was still going forward as a spinoff instead of a movie, but now that there's been that format change, I hope that it also leaves the door open to bring him back in some form, even if it's just an episode of SNW.

Hell, they could still do that with him as part of the movie, have him in an episode of SNW to lay some groundwork and prequel stuff to the movie itself. It's a possibility, anyway.

Yes but I totally understand that with her current schedule a whole show wouldn’t be possible and they will probably use that movie to kick off a show if it performs well enough, but with Ash as the leader? 👀

New Star Trek shows are mostly good, but I kind of want Paramount to pander to the haters a bit. Have a new show that's using exact recreations of the TNG sets and costumes. No effects upgrades. Use the same stock footage of the Enterprise model. List the copyright date as 1987

'Star Trek: Section 31' Original Movie Event Starring Oscar Winner Michelle Yeoh Announced

So, Section 31 is still happening after all, but now it's a TV movie instead of a series, presumably because Michelle Yeoh is so damned busy and in demand now (and rightly so).

I was never hugely enthused by an S31 series, but am always up for more Yeoh. A TV movie is a better prospect for the idea. I don't want to spend 10 to 13 episodes with S31. Plus, the model of occasional one-off events between series is working well for Marvel.
