I have now finished season 2 of ds9 and here are my thoughts a first time viewer:

- when does a government stop being provisional and just become real

-damn Kai Winn is a villain VILLAIN! I hate her (character)! I love her (actress)!

- Kira having her fleabag/hot priest moment

- Dr. Julian "I can fix them" Bashir

- seriously Nog needs to go back to the school, I wasn't joking

- fashion spotlight: Jake's brown onesie

- Quark is canonically attracted to men and you can't change my mind

- Dr. Julian "Tennis" Bashir

- Cmdr. Benjamin "Baseball" Sisko

- Jadzia, babe, you'd bang literally anyone wouldn't you? You sick lil freak, we love you! 🥰

Thinking about AOS Mirror!Verse Spirk is fucking me up a little because, canonically, in the prime Mirror!Verse, Spock killed Kirk, tried to reform The Empire, and caused the fall of The Empire in doing so by weakening it to invading parties. This man must regret basically every single thing he did with his life. He thought he was doing the right thing, the logical thing, ensuring the longevity of his world, and all he got was a dead soulmate and a legacy of failure.

And now he’s been granted the chance to tell his younger self to not do any of that. That there’s no saving The Empire from itself, but The Empire doesn’t matter. That killing Kirk would feel like killing himself. That he would regret it every day of his life. That his life will feel so, so content if he just follows this man and his trail of bloodshed through the galaxy.

Torture for him.

Kill for him.

Die for him.

And he will, and he does, and this time when The Empire burns itself out, Spock regrets absolutely nothing.

Watching Mirror, Mirror for the first time is an experience that is so fucking hilarious and awesome.

Like the costumes for the mirror universe are so cool to look at and the fact that the og landing party is just in Kirk's quarters going "I wonder how alternate us is doing" and it cuts to Shatner screaming bloody murder as he's being dragged by red shirts.

Mirror!Kirk's threats are also so fucking funny because Spock is just so unbothered with this man that isn't his Jim. Like he knows this ain't his husband and therefore he does not give a fuck.

Shoutout to Kirk's look of horror when he realized that Spock would have to deal with evil versions of the landing party without him. Truly iconic homosexual behaviour.

I don't get is why the Marvel fandom struggles with the multiverse and willingness to validate that Sylvie is her entity not just a version of Loki.

Other fandoms accept it just fine, Star Trek for example. There is normal Spock, Kelvin Spock and Mirror Spock. They are all accepted as separate entities with their own feelings, thoughts and ideals.

They are not seen all just as Spock.

So if the Trekkies can do this, why can't you all accept that Sylvie is her own person and shipping her with Loki isn't perverse.

I just finished watching season 3 of ds9 for the first time and here are my thoughts:

- everybody has a crush on kira but she's loyal to her hot priest boyfriend, worm girlfriend and slime bestie

- Garak is flirting so hard with you Julian, let him make you a dress please

- Rom is just a wholesome lil guy!?!! 🥺

- Miles is dating Julian while Keiko is away confirmed (Keiko suggested it)

- Odo, babe, dont pine after Kira, Quark is right there! Hiding around the corner hoping you'll pass by (about to say something extremely gay to you)

(ok but seriously Quark and Odo have some of the gayest dialogue I've ever heard)

- Lwaxana Troi, you will always be famous

- rip hot priest 🙏😔 you had a sad energy that I really liked

- Ensign Vilix'pran: a single dad who works two jobs, who loves his kids and never stops

- Nog!!? That's why he needed to go to school 😭🥺

- I do not support Sisko hooking up with the mirror counterparts of his subordinates 🥰

- crazy long hair mirror Julian can get it

- I miss Keiko :(

- Enebran Tain looks like his name should be "Mike" or "Joe" (I can't explain this thought)
