Prompt 269
Another Legend of Zelda Crossover with Ghosts are Dragons. Because it’s fun :>
Danny has decided to go on a vacation with his platonic-romantic-they-aren’t-sure-yet partners. To a different world! Where they can spend more time than just the summer before heading back to their world or the Realms for work. Self employed or no.
Look, they spent their entire teenagehood protecting the city and world, they deserve a break! So they chose a random direction and a random world that didn’t feel too liminal and ecto-contaminated, and off they went!
And it’s great! The monster issue is easily enough taken care of too, even if it’s to Sam’s complaint. Interesting taste though… Oh well, they can complain and debate that later, because they don’t have to really worry about much. Well, much besides the weird corruption sort of rotting smell that seems to be getting stronger…
Maybe that’s normal around here…?
@fairy-lights-and-blobs @radiance1 You both enjoy dragons so here <3

The Messenger
...However, the Holloans aren't the only Omni out there.
Holloans have a tendency to act with the good of the species in mind, and sometimes, forget to care for individuals. Due to this, a second subspecies of Omni- the Jaluans- may try to sneakily get involved and watch from afar. All to make sure the Holloans don't, well, mess up, and push individual care aside.
Now, the Jaluans haven't any power over the Holloans. In fact, they're weaker, and far fewer in number. It would be dangerous for a Jaluan to appear threatening near a Holloan. This leads to their involvement being EXTREMELY minute, secretive, and lowkey, with very few Jaluans ever showing themselves from the shadows.
Lumi
Lumi is a messenger Jaluan, tasked with seeking out any Earth life forms who are not only in the know about the Vani, but are willing to hear out their (both the Jaluan and Kraizenian) side of the tale. He is to explain the known history and context of the Brandshock, so that everything can at least be understood without humanity being left in the dark.
Whether he will be listened to and understood, who knows. Unfortunately, him being an Omni makes him a strange situation to trust. After all, the Holloans already give a few people the creeps, so what makes the Jaluans so different?
Guess we'll have to wait and see.

I finally came up with a name and (some)lore for this fan species.
Meet the Isel(pron. ee-sell), a benevolent race of environmentally stoic creatures who wish for nothing more than peace among the universe. Although their bodies can withstand extreme heat, their preferred temperatures are extreme cold, hence their chilly ships. They live under great fear of conflict, but it doesn't mean they are not prepared for conflict should any arise!
Their ships, the Isel Glacier, come with a sharp-tipped missile, as well as a Subzero Blaster that temporarily freezes their opponents' batteries.
Not all Isel are blue like this one(whose name is Admiral Sapphire), their bodily colors can vary like crystals. And their names are based on ores or minerals.
Original Isel sketch under the cut!
I don't think anyone has come up with a fan race that has subzero weaponry, let alone a way to temporarily stop ship batteries from charging!

The Queen's Astronomer
Known to be reclusive and introspective, the Queen’s Astronomer keeps himself distanced from the social affairs of the Winter Court. Some say he’s shy, but those who’ve had the honor of sharing his telescope know quite a different story. His true love is the night sky and he will speak of its features at great lengths.
–
Inspired by the lonely tranquility of a night muted by snowfall, by crisp winter air, and the magic of endless constellations.
Painted in watercolor, gouache and colored pencil on 140lb Arches hot press paper, accented with 23K gold leaf.
The artwork is framed in a dark grey frame. Both frame and mat have been embellished by the artist to suit the theme of the piece.
Painted for Every Day Original's "Beyond the Every Day" gallery. Gallery page HERE.
