so this is a redraw of my shipebrero back in 2022 for loiyorrr and it got a lot of notes so I promised to myself to redraw it! BUT THEN ART BLOCK AND COUNTLESS RESPONSIBILITIES LEADING ME TO RUIN GRRR- So I tried to redraw... THEN MY LAPTOP LOST ALL ITS FILES!?!??!?!?! FROM ACADS, PERSONAL FILES......AND W I Ps

i cried so much y'all have no idea HJDSKFHJKDSHFJK

BUT I HAD A SLIVER OF HOPE! I ACTUALLY INCLUDED THE WIP IN MY PORTFOLIO FOR COLLEGE ADMISSION! (yes i included a very intense ship work in progress fanart to apply for my education what of it hsjfhds) SO IT WAS STILL IN CANVA, the bad news tho I only used the screenshot because the file was too big so the pic was bad quality huhu... so I went to "make ur png more hd" websites so that's probably why the 2nd pic would look kinda ai generated (vomits)

so it all started from there! I repainted the whole thing with the foundation I've redrawn and I hope the lessons I got from being a Fine Arts freshman rn paid off HAHAHA

i really want another scene where they are pressured to ‘prove’ their romantic intimacy but instead of yor getting drunk and trying so hard to push herself past her comfort level she ends up critically injuring someone and still failing at it anyway

loid just steps forward to refuse the request after one glance at yor freezing. because no. they don’t have to prove anything. yeah sure it would throw a wrench in their whole ‘normal’ relationship but also like. who are people to demand they ‘prove’ anything anyway.

even if ppl try to target yor as the obviously flustered one and bc yor WOULD try to go along with it but lbr loid isn’t gonna risk his health like that ksjhdf esp if she tries to reach for alcohol to push through it (also bc alcohol to kiss isnt normal either but that’s beside the point)

i want loid to make it clear he would always try to make sure yor is comfortable first and foremost before forcing her to do anything she’s unfamiliar with/does’t want to do, esp if it’s in public or for some stranger or annoying coworkers (i mean even with yuri he does say that they can find something else to do if yor is that uncomfortable)

that even if they aren’t physically close in the way couples are ‘supposed’ to be doesn’t mean he’s disappointed in his and yor’s relationship. it doesn’t HAVE to be physical in the ‘normal’ way. she’s his wife and partner and he is very certain of the fact that he would want no other person at his side. romantic or not, that is a true statement.

besides i think him firmly refusing to put his wife in an uncomfortable situation and saying he loves her like that anyway is more than enough to prove their relationship is ‘real’. and i don’t want yor to idk. kiss him in ‘thanks’ for that. bc she wouldnt be comfy doing that. but i think her holding his hand or grabbing his arm in thanks would be cute

like loid doesnt have a particular desire To kiss yor either like he’d do it and prob would think it’d be nice but i think her simply holding his hand while she’s sober and not passed out or in a life threatening situation would give him a lot more satisfaction of just....human connection

anyway loid n yor are just me projecting my asexual desires into a fake married trope where the sexual physicality ISNT important at all
