I am enjoying TMAGP, but I feel like I'd be enjoying it a whole lot more if there weren't so many stretches where I straight-up can't hear what is being said
The drawing isn’t the best but I kinda gave up halfway and forced myself through it.
— Spoilers (kinda?)
I just binge-watched the entire chapter and when knowing his story as well I can’t help but feel kinda bad. So I wanted to offer Catnap/Theo a hug. Older sibling instincts just hurt that entire chapter for the all those poor kiddos.
Also am I the only one who has the ‘hour of joy’ tape stuck in their head? Did not expect it.
No one is talking about it but holy crap is Asteroid City good!
After watching the trailer the first time I was sold by the 1970s postcard aesthetic to the set design, and I had little idea of what the main theme or genre was.
Truman Show-esc in the script, each scene was amazingly written. I want to rewatch the movie a few more times to understand everything I didn't get the first time.
No one else was in the theatre
Which was disappointing since this movie was so good, but with Spider-man: Across the SpiderVerse playing, no one else was in the crowd.
Spoiler Warning:
Below is a video my friend took. Mind you there's 3 of us in the theatre and we all went together.
Make sense of it because I can't, it took us completely out of left field.
Love the flash of empty seats in front of us.
Go out and see the movie it's an experience you need to experience.
