I currently have two projects going on right now. * Anamcael * Skyline Spirits Update: February 23, 2024 I have been working on both of these for a bit. If you've been following me, you know that I was focusing on Skyline Spirits. But, I am still tweaking the story a bit. It's a long series and it's taking me a bit to tweak a large element that I'm wanting to modify. So, I'm focusing most of my writing efforts at the moment on rewriting Anamcael. Sweet Spring

New @jj-pines Indigo and Calvin art drop and I can’t get over it! So, here! Also, this may be one of two depending on if I want to write smut (because I am unhinged, and I can't get over this image and I'm think things!) BUT I'm not promising anything! Here is the Bridgehid Masterlist if you want it too!

Spring on Maquis Island is a beautiful site, all the greenery and flowers along with the little fairies and other creatures on the land. Calvin’s favorite season! All the beautiful growth of the world makes him happy, coming off the death of the winter season it is a wonderful sight watching everything begin to grow again, and of course, his birthday is the last day of April.

The spring season also allowed the Corals’ family gatherings to continue, midday visits to Amethea and Finnian’s cottage or for the whole family to come to the Bookstone-Corals house to sit out on the verandah and enjoy a good brunch and good conversation.

Since it was Indigo and Calvin’s turn to host for the weekend, the two of them were doing the dishes as Amethea, Antoniette, and Finnian could socialize with Spiro as he was visiting.

“I would like to get some new planets tomorrow,” Indigo spoke, softly, “I want to get some climbing hydrangeas.”

Calvin hummed with a smile, “and honeysuckles,” she added.

“Where are we putting them?” Calvin asked, quietly.

“I want to put them outside our bedroom window,” She answered, “our bedroom windows, they look so bare compared to the rest of the house.”

“It is on the second floor.”

“I know,” Indigo sighed.

The healer chuckled at the pout on his wife’s face, “Don’t worry, angel, I’ll get you the plants you want.”

She smiled, “You’re the best husband ever.”

After being married for years, she’s continuing to make his heart do flips, “Wisteria may be nice too, could help with fertility too,” Indigo declared, “So would raspberries.”

Calvin let out a laugh as he continued to stare down at her while doing their clean dishes, “You are saying that to a doctor,” he muttered.

“I’m not saying they will, I’m saying they could,” Indigo replied with a little giggle, “I’m sorry that I want to have your children so badly that I'm willing to eat raspberries and put wisteria outside our bedroom windows.”

“What would help our chances is if people would leave us alone,” Calvin remarked.

Indigo laughed, “Then go tell Mère and père to leave.”

“I’m going to tell your parents to leave just so we have sex,” Calvin chuckled.

Indigo shrugged, “No, tell them to leave, I bet Mère and père would understand,” Indigo joked.

“Oh yeah, the same man that looked like he was going to kill me when they all caught us making out in the library,” the healer retorted.

The French mage snickered, “I still wonder if he likes me sometimes,” Calvin sighed.

“He likes you, grenade,” she declared, “but I am his little girl.”

“I know,” he hummed, before he whispered, leaning over making their shoulders touch, “but are also my girl.”

“Careful~”

“But don’t want to be careful~” It’s taking so much self-control for him not to pull her toward him, while her hands are still in the sink, “besides you are the one who brought up babies.”

“I brought fertility!” She exclaimed, before covering her mouth, “that was loud.”

Calvin glanced over his shoulder, “We’re fine,” he muttered.

“The last thing I need is tante teasing me or Uncle Spiro trying to kill you,” Indigo huffed.

Calvin chuckled once again, watching her wash one of the last dishes in the sink as he dried the one in his hand, “If we are going to get plants tomorrow, we might as well get groceries…” Indigo began before he couldn’t process the words she was saying.

He knows she’s talking, and he can hear her beautiful velvety angel voice get he’s not retaining the grocery list she is citing off from the top of her head. No, he’s just staring at her, with a content smile across his lips.

Or, I guess, first drawing of a follower that isn't also an artist we've been following. But that doesn't roll of the tongue quite as well :p

So ok, maybe a little context for this one because our brain works in weird and dumb ways. We first saw her follow us after we posted our spiro/spyro pixel art (that she has as a pinned post which is cool! and very fitting). After that we saw her popping up here and there in our notes. Then on TDoV we saw the selfies she posted, her outfit was very pretty (and she was too). But so like, the outfit included a trans bow tying her hair back which caught my attention because I had a vague idea for an OC with a very similar thing and I had never seen it done irl before. So after drawing the comic of Sabine I guess I still had dragons on the brain because I thought back to that bow and was like "What if I combine these two ideas? Would that even work? Fuck it, lets try." And combined @spyro-nolactone with her namesake. With the little trans bow tied to the horn and everything.

Cat is definitely influencing my writing with the chaotic pacing and run-on sentences ^_^'

Just got off the phone with my endocrinologist.

Apparently my T levels were still a little high (out of the male range but still not low enough) so we've switched me off Spiro and onto Cyproterone. Which I was planning to ask about doing before she even suggested it because I'm tired of peeing so often.

I also asked about injections and she suggested we wait till my next check in after a month so we don't change up too much about my prescription at once and I agreed wholeheartedly, I'm just excited to not be taking that massive chalky Spiro pill anymore!

I also told her about my new name and goals, originally I was planning to be more androgynous when I started hrt but after my breakdown in November and my egg cracked I'm going full fem now. So fingers crossed everything goes well! I'm super excited!!!!!!

Starting my day with a quick doodle. (~20 minutes) Here’s two of my characters, the ‘crow’ and the ‘fox’. Unlike the kid’s tale, the fox isn’t trying to outwit the crow for anything. Especially cheese. But he is still a flatterer. Crow’s name is Spiro, Fox’s name is Clause. The actual story I’m writing has them as humans, but they are associated with animals for good reasons. ;D

Everything is Somewhat Repaired: Curses cw: meds, sleep

I recently started on a high dose of blockers again. These ones, spiro, make me sleepy. The last ones, androcur, made me sleepy and a thousand other unfortunate things.*

Before I started Medikinet, a slow release amphetamine for ADHD, It would get to the middle of the afternoon and I would have a total body shut down and have to pass out wherever I was.

I now occasionally get uncontrollably sleepy, only that little bit of morning speed, carries me through til about 19:30 AKA the cursed nap time.

I wake up after 2 hours at nearly 10pm, well rested and wondering who even invented "bed time" anyway.

*Everyone’s relationship to side effects are different and T-blockers can be very messy, or you know, Just chill! This is what happens when most trans healthcare is repurposed cis people medicine with underfunded research. But please remember: A leaky life raft is always better than outright drowning.
