Kratos- B,M,O,W
kratos - nsfw alphabet
B = Body part (Their favourite body part of theirs and also their partner’s)
i do think kratos prides himself on the muscles he's worked hard to gain over the years of hard training, so he embraces his entire body and treats it like a temple. but if he had to choose, it'd def be his legs- more specifically, his thighs. they're well toned, but balanced w/ enough fat that make them nice to grab and feel. on his partner, kratos likes their hands. he thinks it's selfish of him, but he loves how they feel on him. they make him feel secure.
M = Motivation (What turns them on, gets them going)
feats of strength. he loves it when you're both sparring with each other for a while and you suddenly overpower him- pinning him down by the wrists above his head, keeping his legs stuck underneath you. you both lay there for a moment, panting heavily as you try to regain your breathing. kratos looks especially delectable when he smiles, tempting you even then. but it works vice versa as well. his favourite thing is seeing you look stunned when he manages to get you restrained, looking so cute when he finally gets his hands on you. don't be surprised when he gets touchy with you when you take a bath together <3
O = Oral (Preference in giving or receiving, skill, etc)
kratos loves giving it as much as he receives it. though, there's a small part of his brain that always conditions him to want to please you. he believes you should have the best, so therefore he's going to give you the best. definitely the best head in the nine realms. he enjoys hearing your praises when he takes you down his throat and revels in the feeling of you cumming over his face. seeing you happy is the only thing he needs. kratos won't mind if you grab him by the back of the neck and using him as you please, you know how much he likes it rough.
W = Wild Card (Get a random headcanon for the character of your choice)
he's kind of whore. it was much more apparent in his younger days in olympus, but even now- he has his moments. kratos has no shame whatsoever. if he wants you, hes going to have you. if you're out on a quest together camping up with the others, he will not hesitate to touch up on you when you're both alone in your shared tent... you'll just have to stay quiet while he rides you. if you'll have him, he'll do it anywhere you wish. whether that be in public, private, in the damn forest on the floor- he won't hesitate to get down and dirty. hell, he's even thought of threesomes before... he hasn't yet brought it up to you, but the thought of getting spitroasted or double penetration is a very exciting one to him.

TADA! MORE ALL!FATHER KRATOS HEADCANONS!!
I HAVE OFFICIALLY FINISHED ALL THE GOD OF WAR GAMES + LORE. THE COMICS, THE COOKBOOK, THE GAMES. so, with my new knowledge, i present a very special headcanon post.
* kratos has murals of the people he honoured in greece, including orkos and deimos. he had wanted to show the glimpses of hope of his bleak past to the realms to show things can, in fact, get better.
* he has a small festival in honour of faye! it's celebrated primarily in the old marketplaces and jötunhiem. the festival serves traditional jötnar food and it honours her victories and what she had done as the last guardian of the jötnar.
* kratos plays the lyre to mimir after many years of the head begging to hear some of his tunes. he can also play thz flute and a few other greek specific instruments.
* freya and kratos fly together when they are both falcons (as i hc'd kratos to learn 'falki' for more efficient travel). they both use this ability to watch the realms above and protect the people from potential threats.
* kratos decided to assist thrúd with her valkyrie training by being an outside source to her sparing to make sure that she begins to be more confident to fighting other people. she practically lives there now. (thank you to my friend who inspired this!! it's a huge thrúd fan.)
* when kratos blesses people, he speaks greek. he decided that his culture should be honoured despite his past. it was the gods fault, not what he was interested in as a younger man.
* his beard? oh, it is so long. it's so long and nice. very braidable!! he has a few flowers stuck in there thanks to thrúd, lunda, angrboda, sif and freya. they use it as an excuse to hang out.
* kratos, as allfather, finally takes naps. he has a little sleep. he has dreams about faye, but they're very positive after he realised that she would be very proud of him.
* when atreus comes home, the both cook together. it's one of the things they both enjoy and will continue you enjoy as father and son.
* kratos carries around helka like a baby because she makes him happy.

Hi there! I saw in one of Songbird of Asgard's chapters that you headcanon Heimdall as demi - do you have any other Heimdall headcanons you would like to share with us? Sincerely, a definitely-not-Heimdall-content-starved anon.
I have a few, though I don't want to share some of them just yet since they would give away things that happen in SoA later on.
-Like I said, I hc Heimdall as demi. Gender identity really doesn't matter to him so long as he can tolerate someone and trust them enough to accept them (which is the real hard part lol)
-Heimdall is a little shit, that much we know. I like to think that applies to people he's close to as well, but in a different way. He'll give them sass and do annoying things to them just for the fun of it. Short? He puts things on the top shelf just to watch them go crazy looking for it, then casually reveal that he moved it after they've lost their mind just to watch them blow up. Have a pet peeve? You better believe he's doing the exact thing that pisses them off every chance he gets. Neat freak? He will 100% walk into their space and fuck it up. If they're someone who will push his buttons right back at him for revenge it turns into a never-ending war of pranks and sass and just messing with each other, and he's too prideful not to have the last laugh.
-Speaking of caring, Heimdall is an all or nothing kinda person, so if he cares, he goes all out. He'll be a selfish, snobby prick to everyone else, expecting them to meet his needs and expectations because they aren't worthy of his time and effort. But if someone's earns his trust and becomes important to him, he will do anything for them. There are limits to how far he'll go depending on the circumstances, but he is devoted to the people he values.
-The same can't really be said for animals, unfortunately. Yes, he respects them, but in the end he sees them as tools that can outlive their usefulness, hence his reaction when Gulltoppr dies. T_T Though he could grow to care for an animal as well, but it would take a lot. It boils down to how he perceives external bonds, seeing them as valuable only if they benefit him (we can thank ol' Odin for that) and he has to get very, VERY close to people to let go of that idea be as devoted as I described above.
-I see him as being 6'0, 6'2ish max. I know Kratos is 6'4, and it looks like Heimdall isn't *too* much shorter than him? (This would make Eivor about 5'5 in SoA)
-Based on the God of War: Lore and Legends book, I'm guessing Heimdall is not too much older than Baldur? The book states Odin and Freya were married about 125 years before GoW 2018 and Baldur came along 5 years later. Freya clearly knows Heimdall, and considering she doesn't care for him at all makes me think she never saw him grow up (if she did I honestly think she would cut him some slack since she has a soft spot for children). That would mean Heimdall would have to be an adult by the time Freya came around, making him at least 135ish? BUT he still seems a lot younger than the other gods like Tyr and Thor based on appearance alone, so he can't be too much older. I hc he's 150ish, which is still very young compared to most other gods.
-My mans is touch-starved and you can't convince me otherwise. So force this man into a hug for god's sake, he just can't admit he needs it so someone has to take it into their own hands.
-He appreciates the arts. Literature, architecture, visual art, music, anything like that. He's just very picky about what he likes.
-I subscribe to the idea that his fate would have been different if just one person cared about him. He would have had one reason to trust someone other than Odin, and that could have changed his perspective completely. Odin likely never allowed that to happen specifically to keep Heimdall under his thumb.
-He does drink, but it's more of an Asgardian culture thing than a letting loose thing. He never gets drunk and has no desire to be.
-His favorite color is gold (shocking, I know).
-He had to learn how to control his foresight in his youngest years. It's always warned him about anything that's coming at him, but actually *reacting* to it in an efficient way was something he had to work on. He wouldn't have been able to catch arrows when he was a teenager, just duck out of the way of them. Of course, his mastery over this skill is part of what makes his ego so enormous.
-My dude is an indoors enjoyer. He very much likes neat environments, clean floors, organization. Outdoors is only nice in the short term, but ask this man to go camping? No way, bruh. You'd have to work to get him to sit on the ground, let alone SLEEP on it.
-Between Heimdall's snarkiness and Atreus's smart mouth, I see so much annoying sibling energy between them. If things had been different, Heimdall would have definitely been like a smartass, I'm-better-than-you older brother, and Atrues would have been the flat-out irritating, Nuh-uh-your-face-is-stupid younger brother. I will ride or die with the idea that the god of order and the god of mischief would piss each other off like brothers who beat each other up for fun. I may or may not plan to hint at this is SoA at some point ;)
(Side note, this blog DOES ***NOT*** support Heimtreus shipping. That last headcannon is strictly in a platonic and familial kind of way)
That's all I can think of right now, other than the ones that would give some things away is SoA. I hope you enjoyed that anon!!!

Average Tales Party Ages
While gathering data for Tales of Sexyman/Sexylady, I looked up a lot of character ages and stared to wonder if there were patterns in the games. Specifically, I wondered if games with older protagonists skewed older in general. So, I decided to compile what the average age was of each game's party and see what insights could be found.
Most games have at least one character who is a clear outlier in age. For example, Laphicet is much younger than everyone else in Berseria, and Jade is significantly older than the others in Abyss. Basically, anyone who would be described as "The old guy" or "The kid." These outliers were not counted toward the average ages, and I only ever excluded 1 person for being older and 1 for being younger per game.
Physical ages were used, not chronological, e.g. Kratos counts as 28.
Phantasia
Average age: 17.6 Age of the game's protagonist: 17
Destiny
Average age: 19.5 Age of the game's protagonist: 19
Eternia
Average age: 18.6 Age of the game's protagonist: 18
Destiny 2
Average age: 18.6 Age of the game's protagonist: 15
Symphonia
Average age: 18.6 Age of the game's protagonist: 17
Rebirth
Average age: 18 Age of the game's protagonist: 18
Legendia
Average age: 17.1 Age of the game's protagonist: 17
Abyss
Average age: 18.2 Age of the game's protagonist: 17
Innocence
Average age: 16. 8 Age of the game's protagonist: 15
Vesperia
Average age: 18.2 (Xbox 260) 18 (PS3/Remaster) Age of the game's protagonist: 21
Hearts
Average age: 18.2 Age of the game's protagonist: 16
Graces
Average age: 18.8 Age of the game's protagonist: 18
Xillia
Average age: 18.8 Age of the game's protagonist: 15/20
Xillia 2
Average age: 21.8 Age of the game's protagonist: 20
Zestiria
Insufficient data
Berseria
Average age: 22.3* Age of the game's protagonist: 19
*Does not include Magilou, as her age is unknown. If her age is, e.g., 35, the average rises to 24.8
Arise
Average age: 20.4 Age of the game's protagonist: 21
Conclusions
So, looking through the numbers it seems my initial hypothesis was correct. Games with an older protagonist have, on average, an older party in general. In most games, the main protagonist is a bit younger than the average. The only exceptions to this are Arise, Xillia is playing Milla's side, and Vesperia (and with Arise, that average includes Rinwell, whom I debated removing. I kept her because I decided if she was old enough for romance to be teased with another party member, she wasn't an outlier from the party as a whole. But excluding her, the average age is 21.8, slightly older than Alphen.)
Xillia is also an interesting case, because the average seems solidly between Jude and Milla. So either you play as Jude as the average age is a bit higher than normal because it's pulled up by Milla, or you play as Milla and it's lower than normal because it's pulled down by Jude.
The average for Xillia 2 is also pulled up by the inclusion of Gaius, who was originally written to be an antagonist and not a party member. I wonder if the writers knew from the beginning he would be playable in a sequel? And if not, would they have made him closer to the protagonists in age if they did?
The game with the oldest average is Berseria, even excluding Magilou. It's interesting, because it also has the youngest playable character in 10 year old Phi. It really is a game of 1 baby surrounded by adults, compared to the others which tend to be a bunch of teenagers with 1 "old" guy tagging along.
The youngest party is Innocence, which also has one of the youngest protagonists (There are 3 primary protagonists who are 15, and no one younger).
The average age of a Tales protagonist is 17.6, and the oldest are Yuri and Alphen at 21.

You know what.. here's some random smut plots I think could be fun for each of my muses.
These are like random specific things I've thought of, I'm still down for just like generic smutty things.. and I'm a sucker for anything taboo or forbidden or anything like that.
Aaron:
He's caught stealing from your muse but instead of chasing him out or calling the cops, your muse decides to take his cock instead. (Possibly cus neglected housewife or something?
Your muse is a hero captured by him because they fell for a stupid trap or something and now is tied up at his.
Still on the hero thing.. but he's captured by your muse.
Aedan:
It's a cold night out in the wilderness and they've been travelling together for a while but now have to use each others bodies for warmth.
Archer:
Rival Spy agency has him tied up.
He's acting as bodyguard to your muse.
Bruce:
Bruce is injured and your muse is taking care of him.
Sparring/training gets a little heated.
Your a criminal whos finally caught the batman.
Rival company CEO or their wife or their daughter or something.
Your muse is cheating on their husband with playboy millionaire Bruce Wayne.
Clark:
Some sort of kryptonite that makes him horny.
Villain finally has him captured and weakened and is gonna enjoy it.
Darro:
Inquisitors have caught him and are having fun.
You've helped hid him from the empire and things are getting spicy.
Draco:
Local village has 'sacrificed' the virgin to appease the big mean dragon but he's not so mean and not so hungry.
You've gone to slay the nearby dragon but you just find some naked guy in a cave?
Harry:
Rival CEO to Oscorp.
Friends mom or sister or new step mom or something like that
Jaime:
Older hero training him just happens to be super hot and the beetle announces his arousal whilst he's pinned.
Villain's captured him and is gonna have fun.
Age gap stuffs always fun, give me hot older women xD
Chuck:
Kite Man has somehow managed to capture your muse.
Your muse is a hero who's captured him.
Kratos:
You're a worshipper of the God of War and have been praying to him and curiosity has brought him to you.
Lucifer:
Your muse makes a deal with the devil for something.
Marcus:
He's a truck driver and your muse is a hitchhiker.
Mark:
He's got the shit kicked out of him and your muse is nursing him back to health.
He's a younger muse so I'll mention the age gap fun stuff here too.
Nathan:
Nathan's found a glory hole and stuck his dick through it.
Peter:
Your muse is training with him and oops boner alert.
Honorary age gap / friends mom / whatever mention.
Your muse is captured by Spidey but is flirty to get out of it.
You've caught him.
Pietro:
Your muse is nursing him back to life essentially since he got shot.
Ravi:
Ravi's visiting a doctor friend who's stepped out but now their patient is here and he's too awkward to admit he's not a doctor but is qualified to be one so just.. is your muses doctor.
Rocket:
I guess.. Hello furries?
Rocket's injured and your muse is kind and caring and is nursing him better?
Salazar:
Your muse has gone into the room of requirement seeking knowledge of something and instead of a book, surprise, there's Salazar Slytherin.
Shadow:
Hello furries again? This is similar to rocket where i dont have much.
Your muse finds him knocked out with amnesia and nurses him better?
Thor:
Any fellow hero stuff, sparring brings arousal type of stuff.
Villains somehow captured him.
Wade:
You've captured him or he's captured you and you're being sexy to get out of it.
Billy:
Your muse has captured him.
He's captured your muse.
Roufast:
Camping on the road is cold and they use each other for warmth.
Your muse is considered a monster and he's sent to kill them but find they're not so monsterous.
Sir Pentious:
Idek, anyone interested in a snake demon with two dicks?
Or a snake angel after he's gone to heaven.
Misc:
Any age gap stuffs fun, preferably give me older women for some of my younger guys as i feel it's done waaay less than the older man.
Anything taboo like step family, your muse is cheating on their partner with mine, teacher and student, that sorta stuff.
And to wrap this up, of course I'm always open for plotting and talking through stuff and working out scenario's and what could be fun.

❛ ☆ — KNIGHT OF RATATOSK.
my blog takes place over six thousand years after the events of tales of symphonia / knight of ratatosk and two thousand years post-tales of phantasia ( which is four thousand years post-tales of symphonia itself ): i am someone who did not like knight of ratatosk or what it did towards the main cast of tales of symphonia, but as far as lore / world building this is what my blog considers truth in relation to kratos' canon.
to begin ratatosk is a being as old, if not older than life on aselia itself ( still younger than noishe ): the next centurion spirits are ( in the order of creation by ratatosk ): tenebrae ( darkness ), lumen ( light ) solum ( earth ), aqua ( water ), ventus ( wind ), ignis ( fire ), glacies ( ice ), and, tonitus ( lighting ): ratatosk himself was a being created by the summon spirits, specifically origin. while, they do not control mana for the world they do serve the purpose of controlling the monsters that embody their chosen element. unlike summon spirits, centurion exist in another realm, that is outside the reach of regular aselians and their original purpose was to be used as messengers on behalf of the respective summon spirit they serve under, to humanity.
in terms of the power level of the centurion, they are far weaker than kratos in his current highly evolved state ( as each of the summon spirits, including origin and maxwell bestowed upon them 25% of their power each, but that was a rough estimate as summon spirits are mana itself and their powess cannot be tied to the human scale of understanding ): yet, it can be stated that kratos is stronger than any other being on aselia. his only rival being noishe ( once he fully finishes his evolution ): and very much on par with maxwell, specifically as his incarnation, milla maxwell.
the ginnungagap, is sealed off. maxwell and the other summon spirits placed a concealment spell upon it and its guardians upholding that spell the centurion spirits--they do not and have no control over regulating mana--that is solely the job of the summon spirits, each serving as a personal assistant to their respective summon element. the only other way into the ginnungagap is through the usage of, niflheim, the only other link into the world of demons. however, the book is in kratos' possession. before his return to aselia many years ago it had been entrusted in the care and protection of the sage siblings and then later, their chosen descendants.
emil has never really existed. the person known as emil was simply a cover and/or spilt personality for aster ( who's soul still managed to survive the possession and lay dormant inside of ratatosk while he used aster's original body as a host of sorts ): however, ratatosk is fully suppressing it. thus, making the weakling known as emil and from this 'emil's eyes are always red': for either 'personality' cover is still ratatosk. think of it as using any means to gain the upper hand in any situation.
in regards to the game's end and the choices given: 'emil' slays himself. serving as both a way to cut all ties and contact with marta and allowing him to just exist as ratatosk once more ( in doing so, it manages to spilt aster’s soul from himself and allows himself to be sealed along with ritcher ): the two of them directly act as spiritual medium between the centurion spirits, the summon spirits, and kratos. aster and ritcher live within the ginnungagap’s one-off pocket dimension crafted by origin. a special shoutout to @/asterites who let me info dump and traded ideas about this while on discord lol so i could finally flesh out some more world building ♡

Belos & Hunter HCs
because I believe diving into the sad dysfunction is more interesting than just a ‘Belos is an abuser’ post SO-
Belos raised young Hunter (obvs) without the slightest idea of how to actually do that (OBVS)
To his credit (or not depending on your view) Belos didn’t hand off Hunter to a servant to raise. He aimed to fulfill the child’s needs himself and make himself a familiar presence in his nephews life (needless to say many unfulfilled needs have slipped through the cracks)
Belos does try for what it’s worth (though he’s probably trying in all the wrong ways) he’s aware of his more…unsavoury deeds but tells Hunter it’s in the name of making him a great witch despite his lack of magic (and preparing him for the day of unity) and if he has to be harsh to keep his nephew well away from wild magic then he will do so.
Hunter first started researching wild magic when his uncle specifically wouldn’t tell him how it worked outside of warning him away from it. Because a: he wants to help him, and b: when an authority figure tells you not to do something it’s practically law that you immediately go do it.
Baby Hunter was a very energetic little fellow who often had trouble sleeping. Fortunately his cryptid uncle does not sleep and would walk the halls with his nephew in his arms until the little guy conked out
Belos’ ability to see anywhere in the castle got used mostly as a built in baby-monitor in those years. Baby Hunter (and current Hunter tbh) loved climbing all over dangerous stuff
Hunters mechanical staff was a graduation present of sorts. Given to him on the day he joined the Emperor’s Coven. His uncle made it himself.
In a rare idle moment, they like to tinker with machines together (most often their magitech staffs) Like working on an extremely delicate car engine with your dad. -> this one brought to you by Dana’s artwork of them together
Belos is always happier (or at least content) when working with machines cause there’s absolutely no magic involved. Hunter feels much the same until he gets the cardinal palisman
This sounds sus but Belos was a much better guardian (still not great but def better) when Hunter was younger because the pain of his curse was far less intense and he needed fewer palismen to keep it at bay. Better physical health, better mood, more patience etc. (Look Hunters care for his nightmare uncle has to come from SOMEWHERE ok?)
Regarding wild magic, Belos really does believe that it’s extremely dangerous, seeing himself as living proof of it turning on the user and only bringing pain. He wants it gone.
Belos attended the Kratos Parenting school of how to talk to your child (‘boy!’ ‘boy…’ ‘boy.’)
Probably talks to his nephew like Darth Vader talks to Luke (“you have learned much, young one.” : Belos teaching baby Hunter how to spell his name)
They’ve spent so much time together that they can read each other’s emotions and intents through all those robes and the masks. For better or worse they are attuned to each other
If Eda’s curse is symbolic of chronic illness, Belos’ affliction is symbolic of addiction

Luoyang and Yitian Siblings headcanons
Let's see if I can get some serotonin from this
Um, @wagner-fell ?
As Luoyang is the younger sibling, she calls Yitian 'Gege', which basically means older brother in Mandarin
Literally she hasn't said his actual name once, but if she did, Yitian would be really fucking confused. Yk the meme of the guy with the question marks? Yeah that would be his face
Yitian calls her 'Lulo' in return for no reason other than he wants to have a nickname for his sister
They're very close for two teenagers tbh
Morgan and Lucas are hella proud of that ngl
Luoyang is a sKatEr, right? So Yitian takes her to cool skate parks around Mirror a few times a month and then they have boba tea because he likes hanging out with his sister
However, he will use his taking her to skate parks as leverage to get her to hack/pirate stuff for him whenever he needs her to
When they were kids, they used to latch onto (?) Lucas every time he turned on his playstation to get him to let them play (yes this comes from irl childhood memories of mine)
Anyways, they've played a lot of videogames together: the four uncharteds, every tomb raider, the god of wars (!!!!), etc
I need to talk about God of War
Basically, Luoyang has a pseudo-crush on Kratos. Cue photo:
Tumblr media
Don't ask me why, she just gets this from Lucas because that man is straight but he'd definitely marry Kratos if he could. Kratos is cool
Kratos is not Yitian's type, but he really does enjoy making fun of his sister
Yrah also 'makes fun' of Luoyang, but they extrapolate her crush so much they end up saying Luoyang is into necrophilia
Anyways
Luoyang is around Yitian's height (which is pretty fucking tall) and a tomboy, so more often than not she'll creep into Yitian's room at random and steal his T-shirts of hoodies
Yitian hates it because he never finds out until he one day opens his closet and realises the only clothes he has left to wear are ones he grew out of at 10 and he has a date with Esfandiyar!!!
Honestly that's the only time Yitian will get angry at Luoyang. He'll chase her down the whole of Gangkou, shouting 'Lulo come here right now' while Luoyang is laughing hysterically and Lucas (or Morgan if she's not working) is just done with everything
Yitian never steals Luoyang's clothes because he's nice like that and thinks that, for some reason, the clothes he owns are better than his sister's even if they shop in the same places and literally have the same taste in clothes
Actually Luoyang's clothes might be a tad worn down because she's ~una bruta~
But Yitian has definitely claimed a random hoodie he found in her closet while looking for the clothes she stole was his, even if it definitely wasn't
Moving on, Yitian is the secret partner in crime of Luoyang every time she gets in trouble with her friends (Aaliyah, Odhran and her boyfriend Shun)
Mind you: she gets in trouble very often and in the weirdest ways ever
Yitian's got so used to Luoyang asking very odd, specific favours of him he no longer ask why he needs to hide a goat in his closet or why he needs to materialise to Aboveground Honolulu in a Santa Claus outfit asap even if it's August
Yitian spoils his sister a lot and generally doesn't mind her doing anything, but Luoyang isn't allowed into the kitchen
Nope
That's a line Yitian will not cross
The kitchen at Gangkou is a men-only territory. Morgan is horrible at cooking, Luoyang inherited her mother's horribleness in the kitchen, and so Lucas and Yitian took an executive decision never to allow them there in case they decided to take up the pans and give everyone food poisoning
Luoyang's bf isn't allowed into the kitchen either because he's a worse cook than Morgan and Luoyang combined
Next?
When Luoyang first had her period it was pretty bad because the cramps were horrible and she was kinda young and Yitian and her were alone at Gangkou and Yitian (who's never come close to female puberty thanks to coming out soon and puberty blockers and stuff) Panicked™
Listen, the sensible thing would've been calling his mother or any of the women in his life (which, taking into account most of Lucas's closest friends are women married to other women, and that all his childhood friends but for Marcus are afab + Oliver is a doctor, would have been easy) but this dude randomly sprints to the kitchen to make Luoyang a warm cup of tea because 'tHat'S wHaT aUnT cAl gIveS mE wHeN I hAvE a StOmacHaChe'
(Cal really thinks the solution to every physical ailment is a good cup of tea or otherwise having Hunter mask her pain away, which infuriates Dr. Oliver)
Miraculously, the tea works and Luoyang gets better and since that moment on Yitian makes tea for her every time she says she's on her period
Key word: says. Luoyang asks for a cup of tea virtually thrice a week (mostly while they're playing videogames so she can get the control) but Yitian prepares one for her anyways because, again, he likes to be a caring brother
Also, Luoyang helped Yitian get his dog
Cue explanation:
Yitian came out when Luoyang was around 4, so she didn't really process stuff beyond 'mummy says jiejie is a boy and I need to start calling him gege'. During this earlier period, Morgan and Lucas had a lot of meetings (ig) with Yitian's therapist (Oliver's cousin and Morgan's ex!) to see how to tackle having a trans son in the best way --basically like how a pediatrician will tell parents how to deal with their children after something unusual has happened during an examination? Idk. Luoyang never really understood much about this, but she did get how Morgan and Lucas sometimes talking about how some things 'helped with his dysphoria'
I'm obviously not an expert, but this morning a saw a tiktok of a guy saying he can explain gender dysphoria to cis people, but not how drinking diet coke instead of normal coke helps with his dysphoria because it makes him feel more masculine, so I suppose gender dysphoria can be a bit arbitrary? So, basically, whenever Yitian said something that would indicate that something would make him feel less dysphoric, Morgan and Lucas would buy/make that something (eg toys)
Mind you, Luoyang, as she didn't understand a thing, tried to use the 'it helps with my dysphoria' card to get haoson to buy her toys once. Only that she was in front of Marco, who kneeled down to get to her 4y/o eye-level and asked her whether she was a girl or a boy, and she very proudly exclaimed 'a girl!', so her plan didn't really work out still Lucas bought her the toys she wanted
However, Yitian got his dog using the 'helps with my dysphoria' card. Long story short: he was ten, wanted a dog, Luoyang wanted one as well, they teamed up to create a power point presentation (with a lot of special effects as befits a 10y/o and an 8y/o) expressing why adopting a puppy would be good, and had the undefeatable argument of It Will Make Gege Feel Like A Man™
Yitian had to work very hard to hide his smile. He failed, but the presentation was good yk?
In any case, the dysphoria thing was a recurring tactic between them from then on until Yitian became a teenager, got more in touch with his identity as a trans guy, and began struggling a bit more with dysphoria. He told Luoyang those jokes made him uncomfortable now and he wanted to leave them in the past, and that was it
Btw I'm not saying transsexuality is an illness, there literally are researches that proof otherwise and I have read one. I just don't know how to get the 'yitian was a little boy and as such lacked the ability to carry out the more technical aspects of his social transition and possible future medical transition, if there are any + Morgan and Lucas were given tips like how parents are sometimes given tips on how to raise their children correctly by specialists' point across lol. The only 'illness/off thing' in him pediatricians told Morgan and Lucas about was an abnormal growth rate because look at his father, and Lucas got paranoic about him having some issues (pretty much like what lalima thought about him, and what my parents thought of me lol)

FRICK I WAS GONNA WRITE THAT ESSAY ABOUT KRATOS AND VIOLENCE IN THE COMICS...this is going to be disjointed as hell, but @starlightbebright here you go. Under a cut for length as usual.
Okay, so, what brought this to mind was me reading the synopsis for the next (final??) issue of Fallen God. The description reads as follows (emphasis added by me):
For as long as he has been the Ghost of Sparta, Kratos has been a tool of violence for others. In a desperate attempt to reclaim control of his future and find peace,  he led far from the lands of his ancestors only to find himself exactly where he was foretold he would be. How does one escape the torment of predestination? Does Kratos rail against the inevitable or once again embrace fury to fell his foes though it means he will be forever damned? What will be the fate of the fallen god?
So, the stuff about fate all makes sense to me. Yes, it does suck for the guy who doesn’t want to be violent anymore to be dragged back into violence over and over. It’s the insinuation in the highlighted line--that killing a giant monster that is actively threatening people would damn him again. Like it’s on the same level as revenge-killing an entire pantheon or being so caught up in bloodlust that you accidentally murder your wife and daughter. And this isn’t the only time this has happened, either. In the other tie-in comic (same author, BTW), Kratos regularly tests himself by seeing if he can avoid fighting in threatening situations, including letting himself get mauled by wolves (something I bet Faye is real thrilled about) and hesitating to intervene when a beserker is actively murdering someone...then being pissed that the guy being mauled had the audacity to be in danger around him, therefore making him commit acts of violence out of pity. There may be more, but I was too lazy to re-read the whole thing, so those are two instances early on.
(Kratos also says “damn you to hell” in that comic too, which, I’m just gonna say it, is a whack-ass thing for an ancient Greek to be saying IMHO, bUT...)
Now, some might think, “But, Screech, this fits with his character, right? He came out to Midgard to avoid violence and live a more peaceful life and all, right?” Yes, definitely true! But here’s the thing: in the game, the main source material, the thing by which I measure tie-in canon, Kratos has no problem with violence. He actively tells Atreus that he might have to kill to survive, and when he’s killed Magni, his response is not morose self-flagellation. It’s simple and, in my opinion, a correct assessment of the situation: “I defended us. Nothing more. I fear no judgment.” The issue Kratos has is excessive violence, like when Atreus stabs a wounded and unthreatening Modi in the neck out of anger, not to defend them. Or when Atreus continues attacking the already-dead troll and loses his temper. You know, the kind of behavior that got Kratos into trouble in the first place.
Okay, so, maybe it’s because he’s relying on his Spartan Rage? That would make sense; after all, it’s the state that gets him into such a frenzy that he could lose control and do something stupid. I’d call that fair enough too, except neither comic clarifies it’s about the rage, only the fighting. Maybe I’m supposed to intuit that it’s the rage he’s specifically avoiding but there’s two problems. First, again, Kratos is avoiding all violence in the comics, not just his rage. Second, from what I remember, there’s really nothing in the art style to differentiate enraged Kratos from regular Kratos, so as far as I can tell, he’s just doing all of this without going super saiyan, so he’s not even using his rage. And again, going back to the game, he’s perfectly fine using his Spartan Rage. It’s a constantly usable gameplay mechanic and he never seems to beat himself up for using it when it’s prompted for plot reasons (like the Baldur fights). Atreus has even seen him do it before, and Kratos treats it as a dangerous but useful tool when talking to him at the house (”Anger can be a weapon, if you control it”). And you could argue that maybe it’s something he grew more comfortable with by the time Faye died, but comics!Atreus doesn’t seem to be too much younger than he is in the game, so there’s way he got over that distaste in like...a year or two at most.
There’s only one time in the game canon where Kratos seems distressed by violence he’s actively committing, and that’s the fight against the bridge keeper in Hel. I assume this is because he started a fight against an enemy who had done nothing to him and ended up violently mutilating him rather than simply defeating him, all while using the blades that murdered his family. It’s understandable that he’s visibly shaken the whole scene because while his reasons for killing the bridge keeper are legitimate, it’s the closest he’s come to being his old self in a long time. All of those elements make sense...and they are also almost entirely lacking in the Midgard-era comics. The Blades are basically a passive antagonist in Fallen God, but that’s only one element of many, and it still doesn’t fix my other issues.
tl;dr: The comics utterly lack a line between acceptable violence and unacceptable violence, which is not only just kind of a weird way to treat violence (and I say this as a borderline pacifist), but it also makes no sense with Kratos’s character as we see him in God of War 2018.

Can you please, please talk about my one and only, Zelos??? Spill your magical mind tea, Alley. I love every sip.
Oh God, well,,, I wasn’t going to talk about him on this blog, but… if you insist. (Wow, I’m a pushover.) Tales of Symphonia spoilers ahoy, and warning for length and complete irrelevance to anything otome. This is also probably going to be a persuasive essay–style spiel, but don’t worry, I know you already agree.
Now, you all know that I like complex characters, and often characters with complexes, and Zelos is no exception, though not everyone might understand why. When people who know Symphonia think of Zelos, most of them think of the quintessential ladies’ man. Shallow, conceited, and not to be trusted, Zelos enjoys a life of luxury thanks to his status as the Chosen, a divinely ordained hereditary role second only to nobility. Using his good looks and his position of power to his advantage, he is a habitual skirt-chaser who prioritizes himself at all times and cracks jokes at inopportune moments (or, alternatively, ends up the butt of them). On top of all that, he’s a triple agent for the party as well as not one, but two different organizations opposing them. He appears unsympathetic to the plights of all those whom he considers beneath him, including some party members.
Basically, some players like Zelos because he’s a ladies’ man with a goofy side and they have a weakness for that. Some players hate Zelos for the same reasons. On both sides of the argument, not as many really take the time to consider his whole story, because believe me, that’s not even the half of it. See, Tales of Symphonia is one of those early 2000s JRPGs, a very long game where there’s a lot more story than the main plot actually explores, and where implications are more frequent than statements. As a result, most characters are much deeper than people might assume based on what they see from the main plot, and not everyone might choose to explore the specific events that lead to more exposition on each individual backstory. Hell, some people might not even know there is more backstory to explore. The anime goes into some of it, but not all, whereas the sequel… oh, God, what that abomination did to my precious characters is a rant for another time.
What not everyone accounts for is that, like all characters, Zelos’s past shaped who he is, and Zelos’s past qualifies as tragic. In order to groom the Tethe’allan Chosen lineage to produce a Chosen with the right genes for their purposes, the angelic organization Cruxis forced the Chosen at the time to marry another woman rather than his lover at the time. Thus, Zelos was born to be the future Chosen. As a result, from the beginning, he has been treated like a burden, his mother in particular telling him at every opportunity that he never should have been born. In fact, these were her last words to him when he was twelve and his father’s half-elven lover tried to kill him and dealt her a mortal wound instead. The lover was put to death, her daughter [Zelos’s younger half-sister] Seles was also blamed despite her youth and locked up in an abbey, and Zelos developed a prejudice against half-elves as a result. At some point after this, his father killed himself, and Zelos officially became the Chosen.
What a beginning, right? Zelos was quite literally born to assume a title, which he never asked for and consequently hates more than anything else, with the possible exception of himself. His parents loved neither one another nor their son, so he was perpetually undervalued, never given a sense of his own worth beyond the title he would assume someday. Thus, he grew up believing himself useless apart from his future role, longing for some kind of freedom and wishing people would like him for who he was rather than what he was.
So what did he do after he became the Chosen? No one cared enough to befriend him for his own sake, so he used his title, wealth, and looks to his advantage, occupying his time the way most any handsome young man with too much money to spare would. He took to hiding his self-loathing and cynicism behind a cheerfully flirtatious mask, indulging himself and some of his many admirers to distract himself from his perpetual dissatisfaction with his life as a whole. In the meantime, he also cheated his way through university since his female peers were willing to do his homework for him (even though it’s worth noting that Zelos is so sharp he’s actually better at math than Genis Sage, the resident prodigy).
Because of all this, Zelos learned to fight for nothing and no one except himself, because nobody else has ever fought for him as a person. With the exception of Sheena, whom he met and befriended sometime before the events of the game under undisclosed circumstances, he hasn’t grown emotionally close to anyone and is prepared to stay that way. He’ll make just about any deal as long as it means he can escape unscathed. The Renegades approach him and ask him to keep tabs on Cruxis? Sure, he can do that. Cruxis approaches him and asks him to keep tabs on the party? Sure, he can do that. As long as he has some guarantee of his own personal safety, anything goes, up to and including throwing his companions under the first applicable bus.
Or at least, that’s how it starts out. Things start changing for Zelos once he joins the party, even though he shoehorns his way into it based on that deal he made with Cruxis to report on their movements. The others aren’t exactly happy about this turn of events, since he acts incredibly full of himself and he won’t stop flirting with the female members, but they still treat him like a human being rather than just the Chosen. They’re the first people to openly trust Zelos and consider him a part of their group in spite of his quirks, which in turn gradually makes him endeavor to deserve that trust.
Except during the Kratos ending—or as I like to call it, the bad ending—where Lloyd, and by extension everyone else, asks the fatal question: Can I trust you? There’s a turning point where Zelos is responsible for handing the Sylvaranti Chosen, Colette, over to Cruxis. In the normal ending, this is a ploy to gain their trust so he can betray them at the last minute and throw the situation in the party’s favor. In the bad ending, this is not a ruse, and he stays behind to fight the rest of the party himself, forcing them to kill him. And this is after he already made a deal with Cruxis that, in exchange for Colette, they would release him from his fate as Chosen and give his title to Seles instead. Zelos chooses to die at the hands of his so-called friends despite already having a guarantee that the burden of his title as Chosen will be lifted. That’s how badly he hates himself.
Fortunately, that kind of extreme behavior is relegated to the bad ending. In the normal ending, he’s perfectly content to leave Cruxis once and for all and state his position as belonging firmly to the party, because they believed in him and gave him hope that he could change his situation for the better. After this point, kindly ignore everything the anime and sequel tell you, because Zelos is much less obnoxious than usual for the rest of the game, and with every indication of staying that way. This proves that his womanizing is less a fundamental part of his personality and more a learned behavior in response to the above set of reasons.
To conclude: I know Zelos can come across as annoying at times, and you’re still well within your rights to dislike his behavior, but really. Does all that sound like a shallow, self-obsessed philanderer to you?

@thefateofwar said: "Sit." Kratos' smiling would strike fear to any other, he is sure but for the child before him it is unbearably kind. A dampness about his eyes that would earn the axe should any dare to voice it now shown in the gentle press of his hand to Atreus shoulder, clearing his throat in a practiced manner. "When you were young you would ask me for one thing. A story. I could not give it then but I have been training for you and if you would permit it, for your birthday, I would like to gift it now."
♔—- The idea of Loki’s birthday had always been a bit of a sore spot. Not that most Aesir paid much mind to the importance of the day. Celebrating year after year grew tiresome when one could live for thousands upon thousands of years and one year seemed to sweep by in the blink of an eye. But Loki was always a special circumstance because no one really seemed to remember the specific day of their birth. Sure, Odin and Frigga claimed a date, but the rest of Asgard couldn’t really support those claims because Loki’s birth had been rather secretive and the child had been kept away from the public due to ailment.
Loki remembered the ailment rather clearly. That sickness came and went, especially during their younger years, but the rest of Odin’s story or explanations for why most of Asgard went unaware of the second prince’s conception or birth held very little merit.
The day Kratos swept through Asgard with Fenrir, Hel, and Jörmungandr, Loki was finally able to make sense of the oddities that surrounded their early life. Why Asgard seemed so uncertain of the younger prince, why Loki remembered a loving father that they’d been close to but clearly didn’t have in Odin, why they were so odd for an Aesir, and why even the simplest questions couldn’t properly be answered or supported by more than a few people...
Like the date of Loki’s birth.
They knew their birthday was coming up. Odin had at least known a rough time period in which Loki had been born. Once Heimdall’s restraints to the king had been broken, he’d been free to give Loki an overwhelming amount of knowledge and truths, some of which might have been better left unknown. And, of course, Kratos’ reintroduction to Loki’s life gave the young God insight into the life they lived before Odin. A painstaking process, really, as Odin corrupted Loki’s memories of life on Midgard with a loving mother and father and a modest cabin. Some days, the mischief-maker struggled to make sense of what was real and what wasn’t, wading through a sea of jumbled memories to sort out what actually was and what had been planted in their mind by a corrupt king.
Kratos helped, of course, giving Loki as much information as the poor soul could hope to absorb. Even in the centuries the father and child had been separated, Kratos’ memories of his Atreus never faded. Loki thought it would take time getting used to the name, but in actuality, it felt like home. So much so that only their father was permitted to use it. It sounded wrong coming from anyone else’s lips, didn’t hold the same sentiment or warmth.
The command to sit came with a surprising gentleness that many likely didn’t believe Kratos capable of. It shouldn’t have come as a shock that their father remembered the special nature of the day, but Loki spent centuries with a father who never loved them, never went out of his way to show care or genuine concern. Kratos wasn’t like that and while he did sometimes struggle with verbal communication, he always did his best to make Loki feel loved. They both wished to make up for lost time and yet... Loki still found themselves shocked that such an invitation had been extended.
“All right?” the murmured quizzically.
The expression their father wore only deepened that feeling. The ability to show wide emotional range usually escaped the Spartan and while he felt intensely, he never really showed it. Hints of tears clung to his eyes now and a warm, sentimental smile sought to reassure his child that he only requested Loki’s company for something to share.
“Father, are you all right?” Anyone else would have been afraid to make mention of the signs of mist around the man’s eyes, but Loki did not fear their father. Calling him out quickly became one of their favorite things to do.
A large hand, rough in texture but warm and strong to the touch rested upon Loki’s shoulder, reassuring them that nothing was wrong, and easily guided them down to sit in a plush chair adorned with a few emerald pillows. With a graceful little plop, the God relaxed, though their eyes never left the larger man.
Tumblr media
“I...” Frustration passed over their visage briefly, eyes blinking rapidly a few times over. Every time Loki thought about their life with Kratos, it felt like a mental exercise. Memories came back easier now, with more clarity, but always with a little bit of resistance, like their mind grinding the wrong gears together in the processing phase. Even still, a few moments bubbled up to the surface. A canoe Kratos rowed, his little boy sitting opposite him with wanderlust-filled eyes that darted from his father, to a massive temple, to a beaten-down statue that stood in the center of a small island, to the side of Jörmungandr’s massive body, and right back to his father. He kept asking for stories and every one Kratos delivered fell flat. They were never stories so much as blunt statements or commentary that didn’t make for a very good story. Loki even found himself correcting Kratos’ stories to make them more entertaining. “I did ask you for stories a lot, didn’t I?”
Poor Kratos never stood a chance in that department. Even as a small boy, Loki rarely knew when to shut up and always tried to engage those around him into holding a conversation. Kratos had never been good at that, but he tried so hard.
“As long as you do not tell me about the scorpion and the frog again, I would love to hear your stories.” They’d be proud about how clearly they remembered Kratos’ retelling of that age-old fable a little later. “I--” Pale cheeks filled with a pleasant, rosy color and as if to match Kratos’ expression, subtle dampness made Loki’s eyes shine even brighter than usual. They didn’t expect the overwhelming tidal wave of emotion to crash down on them, but it happened every time the pair shared these genuine and intimate moments.
“I’d love that very much.”

Do you have any information on Anna's age? Ive always wondered that. Was Kratos a borderline cradle robber since he's like 4,028? Also, since he removed his exshpere when he was with her, what if he was biologically 25 when Lloyd was born?
Texanona here
I’m familiar with pretty much all ToS-specific guides, novels, the audio dramas, the head writer’s twitter, and general chatter in the Japanese fandom. Absolutely nothing ever even hints Anna’s age. All that I confirm is what’s in her biography and Kratos’ biography; that she is listed as Kratos’ wife in the Kratos novel and a few guides; and that her last name was Irving, she’s never officially addressed as Anna Aurion.
The only thing I can offer that does officially address her age is that in Japanese she’s always referred to with terms for woman and not girl as far as I’m aware. Like in Tales of Fandom vol. 2 Mithos specifically calls her “あの女/ ano onna/that woman” which can also be taken as “that bitch” because he says it in a disrespectful context. But given how he generally addresses people I think he’d use more of a youth-based insult if she was younger.
I think overall things about Anna are kept kind of vague because Takumi Miyajima has shown she likes adding things into stories that people can come to their own conclusions with in creative ways. Things like her specific age, personality, and the details of her relationship with Kratos have given the fandom a lot of inspiration over the years and I believe Miyajima enjoys seeing ToS and its characters take on a life of their own beyond what the game could address.
As for the cruxis crystal thing, there is no right answer imo. According to everything I’ve read though every single function of a cruxis crystal can be controlled when its on and it can be removed so long as the user has a proper key crest and its not malfunctioning. Specifics beyond that are speculative.
