Cleric Beast Light
Based on @e-elnstar's Bloodborne AU and anonymouslyAJ's fic Paleblood on ao3 and wanted to add to it with my own interpretation of what might happen.
(More lore under keep reading)
L and Light do become friends (maybe lovers ;) ) after meeting each other. Even after the endless hunt starts, Light decides to stay as a part of the Choir despite the risks. After L kills Rom the Vacuous Spider, the blood moon ascends and L continues on to the Unseen Village, thinking Light will be fine since he has been thus far.
However, because the line between beast and human is thinning, Light slowly becomes a cleric beast like the other high members of the Healing Church. Another, less experienced, hunter ends up coming to the Chapel and tries to get an easy kill in before he can fully transform. But Light is desperate to wait until L comes back, hoping L can either cure him somehow or at least see him one last time before he loses his sanity and lets L be the one to finish him off.
He fights to the best of his abilities (while being in an extreme amount of pain) and kills the hunter successfully. Before the hunter died though, they managed to strike Light's right leg, fucking it up badly and causing it to transform wrong when he finished his transformation (hence the bone sticking out and fucked up toes). When L does come back, all he sees is a turned Light and a hunter, bloody and dead, on the floor beside him.
(I wanted to keep the whole God of Death theme from the original Death Note series, so my sister advised I give him warped wings like Ryuk has. He cannot use these wings since they are basically hardened bone and cartilage, but they look sick as hell. His human skull slowly molded into the cleric beast skull, some fragments still visible to show what humanity used to be there.
I love the theory that the cleric beasts have horns because they are meant to be the 'holiest' people of the Healing Church and have the most power, and antlers represent being closer to the sky than others and being closer to gods [or the great ones], but since he is a Choir member and not a full Vicar I only gave him one and a half antlers.)
If this were an actual boss battle in the game, his right leg would be his weak spot (similar to the Fire Giant in Elden Ring. Sorry Light).

A few months after I dragged my friend into Bloodborne with me we discovered that the FromSoft games lend themselves quite well to another kind of game: Hide N' Seek. So, to celebrate my recent completion of Elden Ring here are our official rules for FromSoft Hide N' Seek.
The host decides the boundaries of play and should clear that area of all potential enemies before summoning participants.
Boundaries should be clearly marked with rainbowstones or equivalent.
(If possible) When hiding, participants should use trick mirror talismans or equivalent to make themselves appear as the host (or vice versa).
All participants must hide the HUD before play.
The valid uses of gestures, armor sets, items, and spells should be decided on by the group before the start of play.
Have fun!
Should the game be interrupted via the arrival of an invader, the following rules can be applied:
The current seeker must immediately find a hiding place.
Time how long it takes for the invader to either find a player, or give up.
If a player is found, all other participants must converge on their location and fuck. Shit. Up.
Game continues as usual.
All of these rules are, of course, optional according to the group's opinions. The main goal is to enjoy yourselves.
If you decide to try this out, feel free to reblog with your pictures and stories. Id love to know the nonsense you all get up to!
