I stopped at a gas station on the way home from work and grabbed a slice of pizza, and this place has a card where you get a stamp for each slice, to save up for a free pizza. And the guy at the register asked me how my day was, so I said "It wasn't great but at least it's over." He stamped my card twice instead of once and passed it back to me and said "Hope it gets better" and I just love when my faith in humanity gets restored.

oh geeze, thanks! 💚💚💚 I'm really glad people enjoy my stupid sense of humor; mostly I just draw things to make myself laugh, and if it makes other people laugh too, then bonus points! usually it's just one joke or mental image that gets stuck in my head (every time I saw Fellow spin his cane, all I could think about was him go-go-gadgeting away on it...) and in my quest to justify it, it picks up other jokes and bits along the way and usually doesn't even end up as the main focus anymore. entire narrative arcs have spun out just so I could use a single bad pun in a throwaway line. this is a terrible way to explain it but I'm not sure how else to put it into words!

and sometimes it's just "weird things my sister has said that I make fun of her for"

If you had told me Romantic Killer was the best new romance anime since Horimiya after I'd only seen episode 1, I would have not believed you. Now that I'm finished with the season however... !!!

The most insidious part of poor mental health is that it first attacks the things in your life that would help heal you. You can't stop doing most of what's taking the biggest tole on you (work, social pressures, family pressures) so you give up the things that actually make you happy in some desperate effort to save energy and continue to deal with the rest. But in reality, doing those things that make you happy actually heals your mental distress, giving you the power to deal with the rest of it.

it turns out I only really recorded up to when I exported the PSD for the first time, so I went back and recorded a bit more to at least show a little of the reworked cape breakdown and background. and then bounced her rig around so you can see a bit of it too! the parts I'm not too embarrassed to show, anyway

even sped up it's still like 47 minutes (s-she took a really long time to make okay), so there are timestamps/chapters in the description if you click through! I certainly don't expect anyone to sit and watch it through, but maybe it'll be interesting to skip around in?

Design; 10/10 - it's stub legs. The :3 face. The googly eyes. The flower aspects. You may have just graced me with the perfect creature. Like holy shit I do not have the words to encompass how much I love this being. I can only thank you for showing it to me.

Purpose/Effectiveness; ?/10 - unfortunately I don't know much about dragon quest, and I couldn't find much about this guy. I'm just going to assume he does his job perfectly well because nothing that perfect could ever do wrong.

Overall; 10/10 - your honor look at him
