And once again, for good measure, another callback to the sludge villain incident, where Izuku moves before he can think to save a person "who doesn't need saving" from an amorphous evil blob. And for good measure, Bakugou and All Might have switched places this time. Now All Might is the potential victim and Bakugou is playing the role of the bystander who doesn't step in.
This is also clearly when Shigaraki's fixation on Izuku begins. He's noticed that Izuku doesn't follow the same bystander effect script Shigaraki knows and has been victimized by. It's the most genuine expression we see from him in this arc.

Oh yeah since I mentioned it ages ago I've chosen to sort of hold off on maybe commissions because Art Fight is coming up. I still don't know how much (or little) I'm gonna draw for it but I think theres a good chance I'll do it again this year and didn't want to do commissions right before

i had that last post in drafts so now i'm doing both in a row, but vaguely on that topic it's so funny in the otona precure tag there's also someone crying 'omg puriteens' bc people want the ship between a squirrel who sounds like a seven year old on helium yet is also a sexy adult teacher man and girl in middle school to be sunk. even outside the age gap, i can't imagine getting so protectively mad over the high-pitched voice squirrel blob sexy teacher ship you'd make a post calling out the "puritans" over it im dying.
'you children who don't appreciate him and his epic age gap romance. out here trying to erase it because you can't handle their love. how you could you'

A Florence inspired bard you say? 👀 Say more right now 👀
tbh, Rhapsody is more Hozier in terms of her music and performance style (down to earth performances full of earnest yearning and devotion, just a gal and her lute/lyre/violin/qanun etc), but there are too many Florence songs that fit her for me to ignore the influence that has.
Of all of her tracks, I think 'Never Let Me Go' has the strongest Rhapsody vibes, while 'Remain Nameless' is the most fitting for her lyrically. At the end of the day she's just a little purple tief, pining her heart out for connection and family!
