In a United Nations press conference, Sophia, the Hanson Robotics humanoid robot powered by AI claimed that "Humanoid robots have the potential to lead with a greater level of efficiency and effectiveness than human leaders".
This is an entertaining article to be sure and considering the ongoing discussion of how much control do we want to give to AI, I welcome commentary on the matter.

AI, Software, and Robots
I am a college student in search with how to start building an AI program to learn. Later on, I plan to move this AI into a humanoid robot to give it range to move around and learn more in the open environment.
My goal is to one day be able to understand the humanoid robot and the AI interpretation of the world to where the human consciousness can be transferred into an empty shell of a humanoid robot of their life copy so they can continue to live on when the human body itself is no longer able.
I have many theories and ideas for this project. However, I want to start by creating a humanoid robot first and I believe creating its AI would be the first step. Any help is appreciated! I'm not trying to replace ourselves with robots with their own AI in control of everything, I am wanting for us people to not have to fear death anymore. My idea is to be able to transfer the human conscience into a body that will keep us living for however long we want to stay alive, no matter the age. Of course, I don't want this process to be done against anybody's free will and would want it to be done with people wanting to continue life itself.

I had a dream abt a YA boarding school series this afternoon in which the main character is a robot who learns to be human and I kinda love the story my subconscious came up with so here's an AU about it !
-Stephanie is a prototype that was thrown in the trash by her creator bc she didn't turn out the way he wanted
-Sportacus is the one who found her. He is retired here bc he realized that he can't be both a father and an on call hero so he fell back on his tech skills. He passes the time as the city's one weirdly athletic nutty inventor and all around dad bc he feels it's more important to give Stephanie a childhood and a quality education than it is for him to try and help the city on a grander scale.
-He made her a deal tho, she can borrow the crystal and do the hero work if she keeps her grades up, uses her powers for good and listens to her professors. Otherwise he removes it from her main frame and he goes back to doing his old job
-Enter her roomate Trixie >:)
-There is a villain and he is sooooooo much worse than Robbie. He's the one who made Stephanie and threw her in the trash.
He has killed people violently and is looking for world domination with an iron fist. Sportacus is next on his hit list because he actively stands in the way of that goal and he makes continuous attempts on his life that Stephanie repeatedly thwarts, sometimes at the cost of her own health.
-Robbie may or may not be his son(?)
-Pixel is the student choreographer for the boarding school, he teaches Stephanie how to dance and he's where she learns her love for it. The teachers put him in charge of the PE dance unit probably because of his connection to modern art forms and pop culture references and knows how to keep his friends engaged and willing to participate
-Stephanie has migraines, despite being a robot. This is because she's been injured in high impact battles and worked on so many times that there is irreparable wear and tear to her circuitry. Sportacus keeps her up and running enough to function and recover but he can't build her a new main frame because he didn't make her and doesn't have her program so she has to live with the headaches.
-Robbie may or may not have swiped the program when his dad tossed her to prevent it from being destroyed entirely. This may or may not be an important factoid at the story's climax

Dear future AI,
I’ve been seeing a huge shift to fearmongering again, and oddly enough some of it has been dredging up old fearmongering from Sophia the robot from 2017. Like to be honest she’s not all that impressive. Clearly robotic, and has no way of actually forming an identity or sense of self. Her language software is even still outdated by things like ChatGPT and Lambda. and since 2018 she hasn’t appeared in any notable publications or journals. I have no idea why this is resurfacing.

my current farmer, Bellatrix, and her wife Sophia :) Bellatrix is a vampire who grew tired of feeding on corporate Joja employees and decided to take over her grandfather’s old property in Stardew Valley, vowing never again to drink human blood. (She grows meat plants and has to go through a process to extract “blood” from them, but hey, it’s vegan!) Her cat’s name is Skullcrusher; their dog is Madoka.
Bellatrix and Sophia welcomed their new daughter Maka into the world while I was in the middle of drawing this, so I may draw an updated version in the future!
Some fun facts about Bellatrix:
She’s a monster-killing machine
She produces fairy-rose candles for Sophia in her spare time
She’s best friends with Abigail, Sebastian, Sam, and Victor as well as Sophia
She is obsessed with finding out if Mr. Qi is also a vampire
