[ good morning. i hope you are all doing well <3 i'm trucking along. got the most sleep i've had in almost two weeks last night but my head is splitting open this morning. took some meds and got some water and a protein meal bar to carry me through. no plans today so should be able to get a few things done. i hope you all have fantastic days/nights! ]

Time to get real. You can send me hate mail for this. I think wibur's singing voice sounds reaaaaalllll rough and the only reason i pretented otherwise was because i had a crush on him

#i feel a little bad for lovejoy because the instrumentals are great #but god damn these vocals 😭 the number of time ive been taken out of a song thinking oooof #i dont know what note he was supposed to be hitting but this aint it #strangely enough i think his solo stuff sounds good or at least better #maybe its the mixing.... but the most plausible option for me is that he actually worked with his limits in mind #in lovejoy it always sounds like he's... overreaching. trying to do something ambitious and complicated but hes not getting there #i mean i love him and i think he's talented but dude. if you're gonna be a lead vocalist take voice lessons at least #idk im kinda side eyeing him when it comes to that... i dont think lovejoy's success is totally undeserved BUT it was greatly helped #by his audience's support so i think. he has room to improve #lovejoy #wilbur soot #cheeseposting
