I remember you saying that the angels had a Jellyfish style brain but that got me thinking,
Can they regenerate limbs after they've been lost? For example an angel looses their arm would it regenerate in a few months/years? Or with their holy light could they just make a replacement? Like a limb made out of the same stuff their wings and halos are.
On a different angel connected anatomy note, I've always imagined their wings being significantly more fragile then the rest of their body's. Like at one point i think you said that their wings and halos are the first part they loose after their fall.
Henceforth, maybe the wings and halo's are pure light
i think the physical form of the angels in ultrakill is sort of intriguing, given that the game shows us that blood is the great equalizer (we all bleed, even gods) and there is a distinct physicality imo to the universe presented here as a whole. this world, while being non-euclidean in nature, is also sharply concrete, and the angels to me operate on a similar principle to that of hell - they have a physical form that can be felt, can interact, and can be damaged, but are not set whatsoever. they have a base form that was given by god and the higher up the angel, the closer that form comes to the typical "humanoid" mold (or, as angels conceive it, god's image), yet they have a wonderful capacity to twist and change it as needs must. this is only hindered by them having a limited amount of ethereal "clay" that they can work with (divine fire made into flesh, with sparks running through their muscles and licks lighting over their organs), so losing a limb is still losing a limb. they can't regenerate it on their own, but an angel gifted in healing can easily re-attach the limb - raphael is the best doctor of heaven, and within god's power there is really no wound or affliction he can't repair save death itself. i just like the idea that nothing in this world can escape the bounds of the material despite angels believing themselves to be above such things and that a body, whether made of cells or fire or metal, has limits and is not merely something that contains a soul but is wholly part of the living organism it makes up. they are all their bodies, and even angels must take care of their physical selves as best they can.
and yes!! the halo and wings whither away from fallen angels with the wings first losing their ability to fly and becoming exceptionally painful, then the halo gradually deteriorating as their fallen traits begin to appear. to NO ONE'S surprise, this is influenced by paradise lost - at the beginning of the poem, lucifer is still crowned with his "glory", or his halo, and he appears scarred but virtually the same after falling to hell. however, by the time he infiltrates the garden of eden, his halo has faded and his appearance has changed so much, the angels who first capture him no longer recognize him (satan ridicules them for this, but it is in fact gabriel who points out it's not their fault, as satan is nearly unrecognizable as lucifer by now) BUT otherwise i did want "fallen" to be literal, and i think of an angel's wings as supremely important to them, with flight being their actual primary mode of movement. i also did think of them as being made purely from their divine light too and so could no longer stay in an angel who's light has been taken - what remains of gabriel's in the au for a time is a sort of afterimage, turned black and white as they are no longer "alive" and so no longer operate physically or emotionally (ie, they no longer reflect his emotions) gabriel can still utilize his wings for a time, but only in very short bursts and with great agony, but they eventually must retire as they fade away to skeletal remains.

I got one: rate Zelda games you've played in order of preference?
Haha so here's the thing-
I've only actually beaten one Zelda game (two if you count the spinoff Age of Calamity)😅
I'm notorious for being terrible at actually playing the games despite loving the series, most often because puzzles are not my strong suit.
So this list is gonna be focusing on my overall liking of the game and it's content, regardless of how much I've actually progressed through it (otherwise it would be a pretty boring list)
1. Skyward Sword. I love the artstyle of this game and the locations are beautiful. Skyloft is one of my favourite hub worlds in a game, the characters are all very unique and distinct, and I love exploring a land before Hyrule.
2. Breath of the Wild. I've got so many hours in this game, there's so much to do! Whilst I personally think Zelda is stronger as a linear series than open-world, I had a ton of fun exploring this open Hyrule and the Champions (new and old) are some of my favourite characters from the series. I completely got the wrong end of the stick as to what the plot was going into it, so it was fun finding out the real plot.
3. Phantom Hourglass, for one reason: Linebeck. He's one of the most well-written and distinct characters in Zelda (and probably my overall favourite), I love his progression from selfish coward to a hero in his own right. And that final boss fight omfg-
4. A Link Between Worlds. Lorule is a super interesting concept to me, and whilst I didn't play ALttP I'm aware of how this game continues on from it. I love this version of Hyrule's overworld, and it's always neat seeing the more hostile Zora.
5. Minish Cap, mainly because I love the Minish as a race and Vaati as a villain. The tiny world is super fun to explore, and I love seeing how the different groups of Minish live.
6. Spirit Tracks. For a very simple reason: I'm a railfan. I'm absolutely terrible at this game but I love the introduction of trains, the completely new Hyrule, and a unique villain is always a plus! I love Zelda's more (physically) active role in the story, and I'm a big fan of Byrne as a character.
7. Majora's Mask. I did atrociously trying to get through this game too, but I absolutely love its premise. Termina is a very unique world and despite a lot of the character models being recycled, still feels completely independent from Hyrule. Skull Kid is one of my favourite Zelda characters, and the heavy emphasis on death and loss makes it a very unique game
8. The Wind Waker. I initially thought this game was kind of overrated ngl (and I still think it overshadows games that deserve more praise), but I had fun with it. The concept is very unique, and whilst I found the sailing a bit boring at times I loved exploring the islands.
9. Tears of the Kingdom. I... set myself up for disappointment with this one. That's not to say it's a bad game! I've had fun with it for sure, but there was a lot of wasted potential imo. Whilst I love the unique styles of each dungeon (and the respective bosses), they were infuriating to get through because it's the same shit every time. Use Sage ability to open five locks, rinse and fucking repeat. Same reason I didn't enjoy the Divine Beasts. The exploration in the open-world Zelda games is phenomenal, but it comes at the detriment of story and dungeons. (Not to mention it's sort of a soft reboot and I'm... not really a fan of those).
10. Ocarina of Time. This one is so low basically by default (and because I'm kinda tired of hearing about it so much). It's a good game, don't get me wrong. But it's weird the timeline split came from this one and not.. idk, the game with an actual canon game over (Minish Cap)?? I love the Kokiri as a concept and really wish they'd returned, and the group of sages introduced in this game are probably my favourite.
And I don't really know where to rank it as it's a spin-off, but I had a huge amount of fun with Age of Calamity. A significant improvement over the original Hyrule Warriors imo.

update to the sky!
I dropped a mailing letter recently! It has some of my fated lovers playlist in it! Plus a rundown of what I've been doing in my time away from socials, like . . . writing. And more writing. And life stuff. Here's the archive: https://buttondown.email/miatsai/archive/
Speaking of the fated lovers, I went back and reread my nano from last year and I like it. Oh my God, I like it. it needs a lot of work, but still. I think I like the worldbuilding just as much as I like all the sex, because yes, this is a romantasy, but it's also my love letter to government and civics and politics, so there will hopefully be some good Game of Nations-type stuff in there. I'm also flirting with POV; I've got omniscient present, but also third past and maybe, maybe, even second past.
And, really, who can resist reincarnated lovers? I know it's gauche to drop snippets, but I think I'll put a tiny one under the cut. This is nowhere near final, just vomit draft stuff, but the vibes are pretty immaculate, imo.
This is the ending where they live.
That’s what Teya thinks as she lies beside Isi, her eyes closed, careful to put a small pause at each end of her breaths so Isi won’t suspect anything. She repeats it to herself even as she considers the mostly empty glass of water beside the bed and how easily she could break it, drag its transparent fineness across Isi’s neck before the other woman could finish flinching herself awake. Just as easily, Teya could slash that edge down her forearms and join Isi in the spiritual cloud beyond the physical world, waiting for the dual comets to once again light the sky, heralding their return.
The pain wouldn’t even register. It’d be a small thing, a speck against the unfathomable, infinite hollow that would be a life without Isi. Teya can imagine herself doing it: two movements, efficient, fast, driven by the conviction that the only anguish worse than learning your loved one is dead is the knowledge that you delivered the killing blow.
But this is the ending where they live. Isi, too, is thinking this as she reaches out for Teya, her pale, theorem-tattooed arm coming to a rest on Teya’s sun-darkened shoulder. Isi’s apartment is thirty-four stories up, with a big picture window that overlooks the carved dunes of the Sea of Sand bordering the city. The theorem she etched into her left arm speaks of space and time and gravity, of how simple a task it would be for Isi to divert the ground’s pull from Teya so that she could be lifted, how Isi could hold Teya in her arms, then crash through the window, manipulating mathematics so intricate as to be magic to triple their weight and streak swift and final to the ground before Teya can call the wind spirits to her and fly.
Teya opens her eyes and turns her head to face Isi. She skims her fingertips across Isi’s skin, following the line of her arm to her shoulder, then her collarbone, then to the thin, single-link hoviren chain on which a coin of skyglass is strung. Teya takes the coin between her fingers, watching as the glass brightens from space-black to azure. She remembers it: the old magic and how Isi wielded it so many lifetimes ago, reborn each time with her like a breath upon an ember.
“We live,” Isi whispers. Her chest aches. “The stars have seen it.”
Once a diviner, always a diviner. Teya returns the coin to Isi, pressing it against her skin, where it darkens to a star-speckled black. “I want you to be right.”
Isi threads her fingers through Teya’s, squeezing hard enough for it to hurt, bone meeting bone. “The sun is almost above the horizon. If we don’t get a call in the next five minutes . . .” She doesn’t have to finish the sentence. Teya already knows: Peace will have been brokered. Teya won’t be called to the front lines to be a hammer for Onorria. Isi won’t become the Farundian anvil Teya will strike, over and over and over again until they’re both ruined and left to try again in the next life. Until they lie beside each other, much like the way they are now, eyes locked on eyes, watching the other’s life gutter and fade.
“Five minutes.” Teya doesn’t disguise the hope in her voice. She brings her hand, still entwined with Isi’s, to her lips, and kisses their knuckles. “Watch the sun rise with me.”
As they did thousands of years ago, at the turn of the new year, sitting in the doorway of their tent as the river of stars that swept away the Cloud grew thick and drew the Mare, her head tossing, toward the heavens. As they have done in all their lifetimes since, each time waiting for the signal that spells their mutual doom.

Hello! How are you? I'm in love with your posts, and I learn a lot from them. Thanks for sharing your knowledge! But could you help me, please? Can you tell me how the Greeks asked for spiritual protection for the house? I know it was usually for Hekate, but I don't know how I could be asking. Thank you!
Thank you for the kind words, I'm glad you find my posts helpful.
Edit: This got very long, and I promise I do answer your question eventually, just please bear with me.
There were many ways one could protect their home, and as I said in my "spiritual protection" post (which I assume is the one you read before asking this question), a lot of different techniques revolved around the house's threshold. I'm going to avoid repeating too much what I already said in that post and add that a lot of it comes down to a set of religious habits that were protective in nature.
Let's start with the Noumenia and the action of cleaning/replenishing the khadiskos in honor of Zeus Ktesios (+ the libation to the Agathos Daimon on the 2nd). More than monthly praise to the divine Father, it is in essence a protective ritual meant to protect the pantry - your food. So here we have a first domestic ritual that very likely included a prayer and sacrifice.
In parallel, the beginning of the month marked the time where one would tend to the statues (hekataia for Hekate, herms for Hermes):
In fact, it seems likely that the immediate outside of a Greek house could well be cluttered with statues: as well as the pillar of Apollo Agyieus, we have evidence that it was common to find hekataia and herms, representative of Hekate and Hermes respectively:
ὥστερ Ἑκατεῖον πανταχοῦ πρὸ τῶν θυρῶν. they’d [personal law courts] be on doorsteps everywhere, like the shrines for Hekate. (Aristophanes, Ckouds 804)
ὁσοι Ἑρμαῖ ἦσαν λίθινοι ἐν τῇ πόλει τῇ Ἀθηναίων (εἰσὶ δὲ κατὰ τὸ ἐπιχώριον ἡ ἐργασία πολλοὶ καὶ ἐν ἰδίοις προθύροις καὶ ἐν ἱεροῖς) the stone statues of Hermes in the city of Athens – they are the pillars of square construction which according to local custom stand in great numbers both in the doorways of private houses and in sacred places (Thucydides 6.27.1)
Porphyry tells us that these hekataia and herms would be cleaned on a monthly basis (De abstinentia 2.16). There are no identifiable archaeological remains of any of these statues in situ, but Faraone points to evidence of ‘a shallow recess off the street in front of the housedoor… [which] seems ideally suited for statuettes, presumably fashioned from perishable materials.’
- Kerr M. D., Gods, Ghosts and Newlyweds: exploring the uses of the threshold in Greek and Roman superstition and folklore, 2018
So we have to imagine that the presence alone of the statues had their own protective/apotropaic properties but also the monthly tending of it. We could go as far as to imagine that the monthly cleaning was accompanied by a prayer and offering. It honestly doesn't seem like too much of a stretch.
We need to understand that, despite me titling this last post as "spiritual protection", there really isn't much of a distinction between the "physical" and the "spiritual". The statues at the door of the average Greek household protected as much from the spiritual (eg. the restless dead) than the mundane (thieves, mice, illness, etc.)
And this is only for domestic cult. Athens had a fair amount of festivals dedicated to purification, and therefore, protection. The most relevant one for your question is the one(s) that involve the eiresione, aka a branch of olive or laurel that is adorned with wool, dried fruits, nuts, sometimes little flasks of oil or honey. It’s part of at least the Pyanepsia, but some people associate it with both the Pyanepsia and the Thargelia, and I would even be tempted to add the Delphinia, all festivals to Apollo.
During the Pyanopsia, an eiresione would be carried by a young boy during the procession to the temple of Apollo, where it would be placed at the door. That being said, it seems that people made their own at home, and kept it close to their house door:
several passages of Aristophanes which show that any normal house in Athens might be expected to have one outside the front door all year round; […] The orator Lycurgus associates the origin of the custom with an ancient famine, and says ‘decorating a large olive branch with everything that the seasons produce at that time they dedicated it to Apollo in front of their doors, calling it eiresione, making first fruit offerings of all the products of the earth, because the suppliant branch placed with Apollo ended the famine in our land.’ –Robert Parker, Polytheism and Society at Athens, 2005
So here we have an example of a protective device that doubles as a ritual tool and is intertwined in both personal and state-cult. Placed at the door for a whole year, it is then replaced at the next Pyanepsia where the ritual would be renewed. Again, we find something that is close to this type of formula (imo) "ritual involving an object"+"sacrifice"+"prayer" like with the monthly sacrifice to Zeus, but here, the eiresione seems to provide more long-term protection.
One could point out also the presence of other apotropaic devices, like phallic imagery. Pompeii stands out in this matter for the Roman example but the practice is present in Greece as well:
Phallic imagery in public monuments and in ordinary domestic and commercial plaques can be found at different times and places throughout the Greek world. A relief of a phallus was discovered on the island of Thera in the Dorian, Hellenistic colony (Figure 1). This engraved, rock-cut, large phallic plaque (1.4m) is placed in the doorway of a residence from the Oea on the island of Thera next to the Greek inscription τοισ φιλοισ (for my friends), an inscription that reflects the “benevolent inclusion of friends within the apotropaic protection.”2 When the phallus is accompanied by this type of inscription, [...], the strength of the apotropaic phallus is further reinforced, sometimes promising “retribution in the precise form taken by the evil to be warded off." - Claudia Moser, "Naked Power: The Phallus as an Apotropaic Symbol in the Images and Texts of Roman Italy.
But there were others that weren't necessarily linked to a deity, like some plants, such as when Dioscorides (Ist century AD) tells us this about the red squill: "It does also ward off evil when hung whole on front doors." (De Materia Medica; II, 171, 4)
-
While I wouldn't advise the red squill method (toxic plant), I hope you can see from my long answer that methods were varied. If anything, it shows the ancients were very much concerned about their protection -spiritual or not-.
I do not know your situation, so I can't tell you which of the options will work best for you. Personally, I have an eiresione at my door (+ a lot of phalli around the house due to the gods I worship) and more recently I added the tending of the khadikos to my routine. But you could choose to have a representation of Hekate, Hermes or Apollon at your door (even one that is aniconic, if you need discretion) and do a monthly ritual to the chosen deity, giving your thanks for the protection, pouring a libation, cleaning it. Choosing the right epithet during your prayer to communicate your request clearly (such as Thyraios or Hermes Strophaios -the latter being more against thieves) is a good idea.
I hope this helps, and that examples I gave can inspire you to figure out what it is you want to do.

Hi Gina! :) have you read If I should Stay?? The bodyguard fic! I reread it again and absolutely loved the action part and the thrill leading up to it! Do you know any other fic where one of them has to protect the other from danger/harm in more of a physical sense? Im stocked up on the emotional support ones, thanks to you
I have read it! I love that author’s writing. And I don’t have any other bodyguard fics to suggest, which is super sad. But here are a few others that have more “action” and the boys protecting each other from harm.
Tumblr media
of the divine by @thedevilinmybrain (Mixed ratings, 2-part series, 104K) Oh my god. This series. I cried buckets. It’s so beautifully written. The sex scenes are so tender and sexy, but in such a pure way. Their relationship is so good… you can totally feel how much they love each other, the fight scene OH MY GOD so intense. It’s also got great zouis friendship and a very sweet narry friendship. Tender punk Louis and guardian angel Harry. Read it.
To Honor by Awriterwrites / @a-writerwrites (E, 15K) there’s so much about this fic I love. The battle scenes are full of tension, the smut scenes are super charged and sexy, the story line is unique, the boys are in kilts… the list goes on. Seriously though, this author took this fic to a different level — the writing fits the time period (13th century Scotland), but still feels fresh and alive. Give this one a try — I hope you like it as much as I do.
Say Hallelujah, Say Goodnight by alivingfire (E, 110K) This is an epic Angel and Demon fic that I still think about from time to time. It’s action packed throughout, heartbreaking at points, and full of beautifully written passages. A wild ride from start to finish.
Sodalite & Adventurine by @forreveries (E, 81K) Gay pirate adventure that’ll keep you on the edge of your seat until the end. Amazing chemistry, great world building, super sexy smut, and beautiful writing. Do yourself a favor and read it!
Yellow by 13ways  (E, 85K) Oh mah gawd. I love this fic so much. This was the result of a reverse big bang I made a prompt for and I’m forever grateful that this was the author who chose it! Yes, it’s Batman/Catwoman. No, you don’t ned to know anything about the comics. But wow! Such good pacing, the smut scenes are fire, the concept is so original and keeps you guessing until the very end. Link is to a download.
Tied Down by HamPalpert / @ham-palpert (E, 49K - detectives) Harry and Louis are criminals in this one, the other boys are the detectives, and I really liked how original and layered this one was. If the tags concern you, contact the author (or me) –– the fic is a wild ride, but so worth the read!
everything that shine ain’t always gonna be gold by sarcasticfluentry (E, 49K) You don’t need to know anything about the movie that inspired this fic (it’s an Inception AU). What you do need to know is that it’s got great OT5, it’s super sexy, it’s got a terrific story line, and the pacing is just right for a nail biter. Extractor Harry and Louis.
Landslide by aimmyarrowshigh, spibsy (lucy_and_ramona) (E, 143K) Set in the 1970s. Read the tags because this fic is a lot. There are pairings you may not enjoy, there’s a lot of period typical unpleasantness, cult psychology, violence, etc. etc. HOWEVER, it’s very well written and the exploration of Harry’s internalized homophobia is done very well, IMO.
a prayer for which no words exist by Eliane (M, 34K) Gorgeous, deep, layered writing that really makes you slow down and think. At times this fic felt like a metaphor for the war these boys had been through IRL. Normally a dystopian fic with no smut would not be something I’d even bother reading, but I’m really glad I did.
–––––––––––––
And the fic you mentioned:
If I Should Stay by Gloria_Andrews / @gloriaandrews (E, 31K)
Louis is a television actor who suddenly needs a bodyguard. Harry is the bodyguard he ends up hiring.
A fic loosely based on the classic 1992 movie The Bodyguard.

are you familiar with the religions from the sims medieval? i was wondering how you might translate judaism to the sims in a similar way? i don’t want christianity to be the only religion in my world and im already working on paganism, and i just don’t know much about actual jewish faith. if you can help with this, that would be incredible! but i totally understand if you don’t want to or can’t for whatever reason, thank you anyway 💚
Hey! Great question. I'll do my best to answer. Obligatory disclaimer, I'm not a spokesperson for all Jews, and other Jewish people may have differing opinions from me, which is okay. I will do my best to give you factual information without personal bias.
So, the Sims Medieval religion is based on Christianity. Jacoban and Peteran denominations are, I believe, based on Catholicism and Protestantism respectively.
The most important thing to know about Judaism is that it is fundamentally different from Christianity. The idea of "Judeo-Christian"? Toss it out (in fact, Judaism is closer to Islam than it is to Christianity). I
To give you a detailed answer on the differences between Christianity and Judaism would take too long and honestly, I’m no Torah scholar. I’ll do my best to summarise some of the biggest differences:
1. Jews do not believe Jesus was the messiah. That’s probably the biggest difference given that Christianity is based around this fundamental idea -- that Jesus was the son of G-d and died on the cross for our sins. The concept of Jesus varies between sects of Christianity, but most either believe that he is literally the son of G-d and thus divine, or he was some sort of angel.
2. Jews believe G-d is infinite, omnipresent and omnipotent. That is, we have no ‘Father, Son and the Holy Spirit’. I believe some Christian sects conceptualise these as being separate, and others believe they are one and the same. Jews don’t have this concept, obviously because we don’t believe in Jesus as the son of G-d, but also because we believe G-d has no physical form, that he exists in everything... and thus has no separate “holy spirit”). G-d has no divine children, no gender, no form to take, and doesn’t look like Morgan Freeman.
3. Jews don’t believe in a heaven or a hell. We have some concepts of an afterlife or a ‘world to come’, which is tied up in beliefs of the Messianic age, or the time in which the messiah will finally come. The messiah who is not Jesus.
4. Jews don’t really believe in the concept of ‘original sin’; that is, we don’t  believe that everyone was born inherently sinful, and that repentance for our sins will get us into heaven. For Jews, our actions in this world matters, because we simply don’t know if there’s an afterlife. A really good quote on this is “The attitude of Judaism might best be summed up as "We really do not know, but if there is a life after this one, and a reward for what we do, then surely it will be dependent upon the kind of life we have lived. Therefore, let us strive to follow God's path for us as closely and as enthusiastically as possible, for then we surely will know all manner of rewards, especially the one of seeing a world that is a better place for our efforts." (link HERE).
5. Jews follow 613 mitzvot. We have no ‘10 commandments’, like Christianity does. Instead, Jews have 613 mitzvot. Mitzvot (singular mitzvah) is translated as a commandment, but personally I think of it more like deeds or obligations. There are 365 negative commandments (that is, commandments like ‘you shall not do x’) and 248 positive commandments (’you shall do x’). Of course this varies between our own denominations, but they cover a variety of things that also crop up in our religious law (halacha), such as rules for kashrut/kosher and other things.
Onto the second question, how could you adapt this for the Sims? Judaism is quite a complex religion and culture, so it probably wouldn’t be easy. If you’re not too sure, best to focus it around good deeds and the environment, with the main group belief being that what you do in this life matters, rather than the “afterlife”. For example, the “Sim Judaism” group could worship a deity called The Name, that is omnipresent, omnipotent, genderless and nameless, only being called ‘The Name’. The title is a reference to the word for G-d, HaShem, which literally means... The Name. ;p
The group could have a focus on good deeds and charity, taking care of the environment and social justice, and treating others with kindness. This follows several of our values: tzedekah (charity), chesed (lovingkindness) and tikkun olam (repairing the world).
I would avoid writing any sort of Sim-version Holocaust into the group history because IMO that would be inappropriate and really only something a Jew should handle (and I want to be clear I will NEVER personally play some sort of simulated Holocaust in my game).
I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.

Prompt: I don’t know if this counts as head-canon or not, but I’m interested in the idea that the Crowley’s feet get permanently damaged during the Church Scene (it follows if holy water is permanent death than consecrated ground might be permanent damage as well imo). One day, Aziraphale notices.
Falling was hardly painless. It burned and scarred and left behind a great deal of phantom pains and bad memories. Still, 6000 years was an awful lot of time for Crowley to get used to all that. Let it blend into his identity until it became as much a part of himself as his name. Though he had already proven that names were always up for debate. But it was enough time to let it shift his outlook on life and play a role in everything he did. Soon enough, he all but forgot what life was like without the pain of his Fall.
78 years, on the other hand, isn’t a lot of time for an immortal being to get used to a new source of pain, although Crowley did try his hardest to cope and continue on as normal. He wasn’t sure whether it made it better or worse that this, unlike his Fall, was most definitely self-imposed.
He had made the decision to enter that church to help out Aziraphale. Maybe it wasn’t the smartest move considering that Aziraphale would hardly be gone forever if he hadn’t intervened. He would’ve just been preoccupied for a bit up in Heaven whilst he was issued a new body. Likely, he would’ve made it back to Earth before the century was up, and all would’ve been right as rain.
But for some reason, Crowley just couldn’t let that happen. Had to save him the embarrassment as he had put it. Really though, he just wasn’t all that interested in seeing the corpse of his friend, even if it was hardly permanent. And dying probably still hurt like Hell. Aziraphale didn’t deserve that.
So he had tap-danced his way into that church, desperately trying to keep either of his feet from being too scorched by the holy divinity of God. At least the ground no longer burned when it was reduced to rubble. Still, the damage had been done, and, like his wings, his feet didn’t go back to normal. If he had thought about it a bit more, maybe he would’ve came in kneeling. God would’ve had a good chuckle at that.
It hadn’t been hard to play off the constant ache in his step when he walked. His overly dramatic saunter made it easy to play off a sudden stab of pain as just another example of his inability to remain still for too long. Really, he had the whole world fooled, even himself, that absolutely nothing was wrong whatsoever. That’s probably why he didn’t think twice about it when he swapped bodies with Aziraphale.
That’s not to say that Aziraphale felt Crowley’s pain when in his body. No, that wasn’t the case at all. If God’s holy wrath was tied to nothing but a physical body, well, it would hardly qualify as a punishment. This type of pain was linked to the soul so that whatever body Crowley incorporated, he wouldn’t be quick to get comfortable.
Still, Crowley had never been discorporated, so his physical scars from his walk down the aisle were most definitely present on the soles of his feet. It wasn’t until a certain holy water bath where Aziraphale noticed, and it was very much the reason why he had left Crowley’s socks on for it. He considered keeping it to himself, but curiosity soon won out, and a week after deceiving Heaven and Hell,  he brought it up.
Their common place of evening banter was undoubtedly Aziraphale’s bookstore, but the angel had suggested they go to Crowley’s flat tonight instead. Surely if the demon was in his own space when Aziraphale turned the conversation to his question, he would feel more comfortable answering it. At the very least, he would have a harder time running away. Crowley had thought the change of place odd, but it wasn’t like he was going to say no to Aziraphale.
They were a couple bottles in, relaxed on an L-shaped couch that hadn’t existed four hours ago, before Aziraphale had the confidence to turn the conversation. It was a real shame to bring down the merry atmosphere with this, but this just wasn’t something he could shrug off.
“What did it feel like? Falling that is?” This wasn’t a new question the angel posed to the demon. Every now and then he would ask it, and Crowley would give him a slightly different answer each time.
“Like that warm bubbly God’s grace inside you suddenly got much too hot.”
“Is that how your feet feel too?” Aziraphale asked as nonchalantly as he could.
“What?” Crowley all but dropped his glass.
“I—I just noticed in our little escapade last week where we, you know, pulled one over our respective head offices…” He paused to look at Crowley who stared at him slightly slack-jawed. “Well, I noticed you had scars on the soles of your feet. Rather extreme ones too. And—and considering we can look any way we please and do away with things like scars, I assumed that these in particular must be related to a holy event.”
“Yeah it was.” The demon’s mouth was a thin line. “A holy event.”
“Oh, I do hope you didn’t step in that holy water I gave you. Everything in me said that I shouldn’t give it to you, but I did anyway.”
“Nah, was before that. 1941. Church. You know.”
Of course he knew. Crowley had once again showed up to save the day and, more importantly, his books. It was the kindest act anyone had ever done for him, and the demon refused to let him properly thank him for it. The holy water had been his later attempt at that.
“Dear Lord, Crowley. This didn’t happen to you because you felt the need to save me, did it?”
Crowley cringed at Aziraphale’s tone of voice. Last thing he wanted was the angel’s sympathy—or his guilt for that matter. “I wasn’t bloody certain what would happen when I went into that church. Figure a bit of foot pain isn’t that bad considering.”
“How’s a permanent injury to your celestial being not bad?”
“Well, the Almighty could’ve smited me then and there for stepping foot into Her holy sanctuary. Everything kind of pales compared to that.”
Aziraphale’s jaw practically fell off. “You thought the Almighty might smite you, and you still went in to save me?!?”
“I hoped the whole saving an angel thing would convince Her to go easy on me.”
“Crowley!”
“I’d do it again in a heartbeat.”
And he meant it. Absolutely one hundred percent meant it. He’d do anything for Aziraphale, although he usually tried to keep him from knowing that.
“I’d rather you not maim yourself—or risk your life—for me. Especially when it’s a non-lethal situation!” Aziraphale was now standing, his wine glass forgotten on the coffee table.
“With how your relationship with Heaven is, I’d say there’s all the more reason for me to.”
“Then I hope you don’t mind me saying that I’ll do the same for you going forward.”
And now Crowley was standing as well. “Of course I mind!”
“So, do you see where I’m coming from? Will you trust me to handle myself.”
Crowley sat back down, defeated, and Aziraphale followed suit.
“I’ll do my best, angel.”
They were silent for a moment with Aziraphale’s gaze turned to the demon’s snakey boots. He cleared his throat and spoke up. “So your feet do hurt then?”
“‘S fine when I’m sitting down.”
“And when you’re not?”
“Maybe hurts a bit now and then.” Crowley shrugged in an attempt to downplay his words as much as possible.
“Is there—”
“No, Aziraphale. Nothing you can do unless you also have a way to make my wings white again. And don’t say bleach. It’s not a funny joke.”
“Never would have thought of it, dear.” He moved closer to Crowley on the couch. “But I can’t stand to sit here knowing you’re in pain.”
A confused yet knowing expression flooded Crowley’s face. “Demons are use to pain, angel. We always feel it. The Fall wasn’t a one-and-done deal. We just get used to what it feels like.”
“Oh.” It’s a small little noise that escapes Aziraphale’s lips. One that holds a lot more emotional meaning than the word’s dictionary one. “Crowley, I—I didn’t know.”
“It’s not like I ever told ya.” He avoided the angel’s gaze. “Like I said, we get used to it. No use crying about some 6000 year old drama, now is there?”
“I’m so sorry. That sounds absolutely awful. I wish I could, I mean, there has to be—”
“Can we please not turn this into a pity party. Really I’m fine. As fine as I’ve ever been anyway. And I’d really just like to get sloshed with my best friend, if you don’t mind.”
It was time to back off. Crowley was done with this conversation. To the demon’s benefit, he had given Aziraphale a lot. Let loose quite a few secrets, and the angel appreciated that. If Crowley just wanted to drink now and have a good time, Aziraphale was going to do his best to give him a good evening.
“Of course. I shouldn’t have pushed you on this. We can go back to drinking.”
He picked his wine glass back up but didn’t return to his side of the couch, instead remaining next to Crowley. If the demon minded, he didn’t show any sign of it.
If Aziraphale couldn’t offer him any relief for his physical and spiritual pain, he could at least provide Crowley with his company. Really, that’s all Crowley wanted. Just Aziraphale’s company. Because, even though he didn’t tell the angel, just being around Aziraphale made him forget all about every ounce of pain he had ever felt.

Hello, I know you're a really good loremaster, one of the best, so what's the most fitting class if I wanted to roleplay a character as a Chantry Priest? I wanted to import my character from another RPG where they were a healer priest of a monastery but can't make them a Mage in DA because it seems like the nature of metaphysics of the universe conflicts with their character So is a templar-spec nomad in light robed gear or a Rogue like Leliana/Seb more fitting for a Priest? Which is closer? ty!
Hi Nonnie, awsh thanku, that’s v kind of you to say. :) here’s some thoughts for your consideration. cut for length.
in terms of the frames of how classes and class-tropes are in some other similar (fantasy, sword n sorcery, etc) settings, spirit healer mages in DA remind me of classical clerics and the white mage archtype. here’s (spoilers for Tevinter Nights and Blue Wraith at link) a recent post about what we know about how healing magic works in the DA setting, just in case it’s of any interest/use to you.
in terms of mundane healing and non-magical medicine references in the DA settings, the lore has references to “healers”, “surgeons”, “medics”, and “physicians”. there are also midwives, apothecaries, herbalists and alchemists, although it’s unclear if one has to be a mage to brew a straight-up potion-potion. here’s what the DA wiki has to say about medicine/healing arts in Thedas, both magical and mundane. you might be particularly interested in the following:
the only access to any sort of proper care that common people would have is through the Chantry, or one of the Circles of Magi. The visitation of a Circle-approved mage practitioner must be arranged through a Templar. The local chantry provides care for the sick, and members of the clergy may travel to troubled areas in order to provide free relief in the name of charity.
as it pertains to having Chantry clergypeople healing and providing medical care to the sick.
the templars strike me as paladin-esque. what they really do as an Order isn’t really the same, but the basal archtype is there. they are essentially this’s setting’s holy warriors, the crusaders. bear in mind that if you make your character a templar or someone who has the abilities of a templar, they are essentially taking on an addiction to the substance lyrium, which becomes a serious problem for people in the latter stages/grips of the addiction. lyrium withdrawal is unpleasant and comes with significant cravings. over time, users lose their memories and their minds, become paranoid and obsessive, exhibiting dementia-like symptoms, etc. templars in the Order are sworn to protect the world from the dangers of magic, but their primary duties on average usually boil down to acting as jailers to the mages kept in Circles, hunting down escapees, and ‘bringing in’ mages who came into their power outside of the Circle, although there are ofc other duties like guarding Chantries or being the bodyguards of the Divine. mentioning this stuff because it would naturally have an impact on how you play your character. perhaps not the Templar Order stuff if you make someone with templar abilities who isn’t in the Order (see below), but the lyrium stuff definitely. note it is possible to wean off and stop taking lyrium, Cullen can do this according to PC choices in DAI.
there are examples of non-heavy templar armor in the games, like Templar Armor - Light Issue (a medium chestpiece). DAI presents us with red templar enemies who are archers/marksmen. from what I remember they still wear heavy, or at least medium/heavy-looking, armor. they’re deformed by red lyrium so it’s not really a helpful thing to note, but the red templar enemy faction in DAI’s stealth units, Shadows, still look like they’re wearing heavy or heavy-looking armor.
Light Armor tends to be for mages, but not exclusively. when we meet Leliana in DAO, she’s in Chantry robes, which iirc DAO defines as clothing technically (DAO has both LA and clothing as item categories). she wears these when she assists the Warden with the skirmish with soldiers in the Lothering Tavern. (I doubt she didn’t switch to other, more protective gear for the duration of the Fifth Blight though, regardless of player choice here). in the Magi Origin, there’s Lily, a Chanty initiate. she’s a temporary companion/party member and does some fighting. she’s also wearing the robes and the game classes her as a rogue. incidentally she can be equipped with a dagger and a mace.
the actual priesthood of the Chantry is made up entirely of women. men are only allowed to become true priests in the Imperial Chantry, which is the Chantry of Tevinter. in the southern Chantry, the only rank men are allowed to have is Brother. the best example of a Chantry Brother we’ve had as you say is Sebastian. Brother Burkel also springs to mind as a non-companion example. (he doesn’t fight but if you YouTube him you can see how he sounds and what he talks like when he’s speaking to the PC) men are allowed to occupy associated/adjacent roles like chanters and scholars. of particular note here is how the Chantry’s male acolytes, basically an ‘invisible army’, tend to tend to the less spiritual side of things; they keep the Chantry in good repair, fed and see to the physical well-being of their Andrastian charges (tying to the above excerpt about local Chantries and so on caring for the sick, although do note I can easily see female Chantrypeople doing that role too even if they are ‘priestesses’). the exception to this outside of Tevinter would be in post-DAI worldstates where Leliana was made Divine; she opens the priesthood to all genders and races. sth to bear in mind if your imported character is a male and you’re set on the whole priest aspect as opposed to a lower-ranked Brother.
on balance if you wanted to RP as a Chantry clergyperson (bear in mind “Chantry clergyperson” is my phrasing for the ease of this answer and not necessarily a label from the lore) I think the Rogue class angle would be more fitting. there are examples of Chantry clergypeople who are Rogues and fought as such in the lore (Leliana, Sebastian), and I can’t recall examples of templars in light armor or robed gear. A Chantry clergyperson more closely matches the role of a healer priest in a monastery; we can see from the lore there are mundane healing skills/professions and there’s a definite precedent for Chantry clergypeople to be caring for and tending to the sick. You could play the most skilled mundane healer Chantry clergyperson from a particular Chantry - perhaps even a formally trained physician who gave themselves to a life of service in the Chantry - and/or to capture the travelling angle, your character could be one of those clergypeople who travels to troubled areas in order to provide free healing and relief. if you wanted I think you could have them don a more protective form of equipment or a more protective version of Chantry robes for safety when travelling, or if they’re particularly combat-inclined, like Leliana in her mission in DA2, or Leliana’s Sacred Ashes trailer armor, or Lily’s Heroes of Dragon Age appearance.
I feel like if you went for the templar angle it sounds like you’d be leaning away from the heart of your character, which seems to be a healer monk/travelling priest/traveling healer-type deal. templars are sth different. you would also have to explain how a nomad person gained the powers and abilities of a templar, since that’s usually the purview of templars only, and usually requires templar training from the Order, and always the imbibing of lyrium. Alistair was a trainee who left before starting lyrium. him teaching the abilities to Warrior PCs or Warrior PCs reading how to be a templar in a book in DAO, Templar Hawke and Cassandra’s spec being the Templar spec in DAI are more like story/gameplay segregation. Cass is a Seeker of Truth, in truth, for instance, not a templar. it’s a bit more realistic and less handwaved in DAI for the PC at least - Way of the Templar is the sidequest through which the DAI PC gains the spec, and specifies that if you construct a lyrium philter (for the imbibing of lyrium) and “study the methods of the templars” (which = doing a lot of related reading) you can learn the secrets of the spec from someone who knows it or knows about it. on the subject of not being part of the Order, the character Ser is interesting because he knows the physical aspects of being a templar but makes it clear he’s not part of the Order. the abilities of a templar might not necessarily be what you’re looking for either - they’re about dispelling and nullifying magic, inhibiting spellcasting, not healing. usually these abilities are employed to fell demons, abominations and be turned against mages. also bear in mind the templar spec has so far been the purview of the Warrior class. imo a rogue like Leliana or Seb would be closer to what you’re describing, out of the 2 options in your ask.
hope this helps you decide or at least gives you some food for thought :)
@simonjadis has some great input below in the notes: if you’re open to making your character a Tevinter citizen, note that men (if applicable) have access to all levels of rank in the Imperial Chantry, and mages can be part of the clergy (if you decided that in the end being a mage was acceptable in this setting for your char). following on from the mage angle, although not a priest or part of the clergy, you could make a loyalist, faithful Andrastian spirit healer mage. Wynne in DAO is our best example of someone in this position so far.

Witch thoughts while high. We’ll call it DRAFT 1: Dreams and Goals should be 50/50
Upon reflection, I think it’s important to have an equal amount of dreams and goals. I mean, for a healthy, balanced life. For witches and everybody. Dreams, which (and this is the main point of what I’m getting at here) can be thought of as artistic expression through mediums like images, poetry, abstract thought, and feelings (which I assume is like... pink oras and your heart chackra? idk need further research for that). If you’re practicing witchcraft/wicca or Magicks of any sort, it’s sort of what you see your true self as being. When you can peak through the clouds of aniexty, depression, and other things that get in the way and see The Real You, you’ll know it because you’ll like what you see there. Maybe there’s a big, huge, scary gap in who you are now, and who you are supposed to be (it is for me, maybe that’s true for everyone, maybe not), and this is what I’ll touch on next with the GOALS part. Dreams are a pure and true desire in your heart, a playfulness, an ease, a visual and colorful part (other aesthetic witches out there?). Dreams are The Universe’s indication that we are, each of us, divine. Dreams are fantasy, but not in the negative way. It is the right side of the brain (I know the whole “left and right” brain thing is more complicated than that expression, this is a draft) working with creativity, day dreams, lucid dreams, even stuff like Astral Projection . When it comes to Astral Projection I’m just putting out there that I haven’t been there myself. In fact, I score about a 7 on the able-to-picture-something-vividly in my own mind scale 1-10. Goals are expressed through Colors, art, music, INTUITION (!!) and childlike wonder, which is a lot of what makes Witchcraft such a sensory-stimulating and playful/flexible/adaptable form of religious/spiritual practice, IMO. Dreams are why I have this blog. It’s visually stimulating for Dreaming. I pretty much only reblog things I want to bring into my life, which is why a lot of what you’ll see is tan, blonde with my coloring, fit-looking women, often in business-like settings. Or an aesthetic imagery that just really resonates with that unconscious self (or an “ancient self” as I sometimes like to say and yeah... my ancient self likes glitter and is gay).
And here’s where the other half comes in... the counterpart to Dreams are *drumroll*...Goals! Goals are dreams in action, the left side of the brain. Daily actions that you take to instill momentum towards your greatest self! It’s for that feeling when you’re been working on something really hard and it finally pays off. It’s for doing the right steps (even if the path was unexpectedly curvy or jagged) and proving that you are a Spiritual Person who can really do anything they set their mind to. It’s the moving power behind closing that gap between the you that you are now and that Divine Self, the higher frequency. The secret is (and it’s not really a secret)... you’re actually that Divine Self all the time.  Which means you can mobilize, do Goal work, at any time! Goals also have a cost, an essential part of their functionality, they are transactional (costing time, pain of forgoing an unhealthy habit or meal, comfort from not pressing the snooze button, having an uncomfortable conversation, working harder at the gym, studying until you get it, coming in early and staying late, following through on your commitments even when you don’t feel like it, ect.) Goals have a finish line. Goals require a little bit of discomfort in the same way Mexican food needs heat. ((Discipline is not punishment - important distinction. It can be thought of as just forgoing immediate pleasure for long-term self-respect.)) Goals often look like studious activities (things that come to mind: the educational grind, money handling, scheduling, record keeping, appointment making, other “adulting” activities). Or it can look like going to do something a little unpleasant (even though it’s never quite as unpleasant as you make it out to be in your mind, stressing accomplishes nothing) for the sake of working in line with your GOALS. I read in one of my Wicca books (author: StarHawk? I’m not sure that might have actually been a case study I read about modern witches... can’t remember)  that one core value of Wicca is that practitioners should be always working on being reliable and taking on responsibility for the good of the group. It’s tried and true: set goals, GET TO WORK, (and this is the most important part) >>> stick to it<<< and reach Goal.  The goal is the left side of the brain, meaning it deals with logic, MATH, (I know I have anxiety about it to, but like, the whole universe is math and you’re not actually that bad at it. Math is your friend), speaking, reading, reasoning, and sequential thinking. Goals should be married to Dreams for a balanced you, is what I’m getting at. All things in balance, basically.
((Info dump about for JustWiccaThings: Other cool things I learned about Wicca that really resonated with me, just from the top of my memory -  (1) very passionate about religious freedom of practice, choice, access and knowledge, especially for their offspring, (2) Sacredness of the Natural World, (3) passion for literature and local art, (4) community-minded and  often bought, supported, or founded many businesses and community organizations, (5) Male and Female energies in harmonious union and a playful group understanding of each (fluidity and flexibility and swapping but an essential core of the balance of energizing powers). )))
P.S. The cool thing is that Meditation is where dreams and goals interact with Magicks. It is the playground where worlds meet because there is a sort of sustained inner listening (stillness). It is where Dreams and Goals work on unison is a subconscious way, easing a lot of anxieties because now you can be steadfast with the knowledge that my darling The Moon is backing you up Another way to put this: Meditation, calls positivity, abundance, peace and divinity into your life without you even trying. In fact, not trying is the whole point of mediation. I could put a link to the million and one scientific studies that prove that meditation is an essential element to health, long-term prosperity, inner peace, reduced risk of heart attack or stroke, lowered rates of anxiety and depression, and so on. But I think we can come to an agreement that generally Meditation is another Tried and True way to connect with your true self/the Divine. Another cool side effect is that Meditation makes you stand a little straighter. Even this physical change in your body is part of what makes Meditation the glue that binds your Dreams and Goals together (in an equal amount for a more balanced you!) When you stand straighter it helps that “fuck yeah”/I-Can-Do-Anything vibe last all day.
So.... yeah. Always dream big but make sure your goals are just as big. Also, meditating helps.
TLDR: Dreams can inspire you, but goals will change your life. Being a Witch means you should work towards balancing Dreams (playfulness, images, poetry, abstract) and Goals (grit, responsibility, action) and being a reliable person. Also, please start or continue to meditate because that definitely helps.

Persona Legend Powers Part 1
In a post I made recently, I asked which personas would be the most powerful if instead of the usual Persona powers they got the powers of the mythological figures they represent.
Here we will speculate on what those abilities could be.
I compared the idea to the Fate series but really I am only taking a few powers or over simplifying it.
Lets start with the P3 team aka the Shadow Operatives (no Minato, Shinjiro, or Metis as they aren’t a part of the currently living P3 group, also I am including Labrys). As they don’t devolve their Personas I will only be looking at their ultimates, which is good b/c Yukari and Mitsuru’s initial Personas seemed to be known as victims (Io was turned into a heifer by Zeus and Penthesilea was killed by Achilles, not the most glamorous legends).
(I may also cite some YouTube videos or other sources in this, also I looked at a lot of stuff on the superpower wiki and it has a lot of ideas, specifically look at Greek and Roman Deity Physiology for a lot of stuff on what these guys could do.)
Aigis (Athena): Goddess of wisdom, olives, weaving, and battle strategy. One of her well known objects was the Aegis, either a shield or a breastplate but seemed to have Medusa’s head in it in some cases possibly giving it her paralyzing power.
Mitsuru (Artemisia): This is hard because Artemisia was an ancient Queen (wikipedia page), and not some big mythological figure. She isn’t even a Fate servant so I can’t look at that, but the main thing I see of her is her participation in a naval battle, the Battle of Salamis. I mean Artemisis summoning a giant warship would be cool and factors into another cool idea but it doesn’t seem like much.
I guess this is where I can suggest that another possible way to look at all this is they still have their initial Persona skills, but they have the legends added onto them.
Akihiko (Caesar): Again a real person, but looking at its description on the wiki “ Augustus was known as the "ruler of the world", which is represented by the globe carried in Caesar's hand.” So it isn’t Julius Caesar, but Caesar Augustus (here is a great video by Overly Sarcastic Productions on the guy, these guys do good work imo). But still, where do we go from there? My best guess would be to expand on the Planet thing. I mean Akihiko already has minor gravity powers in Arena (he would totally use that power to do DBZ style increased gravity training), maybe expand into geo-electricity or some other Earth based powers, IDK.
Fuuka (Juno): Now Juno is the Roman equivalent of Hera, wife of Zeus, so Queen of the Gods, BUT Fuuka is a full on support Persona user, so she can’t have anything TOO big. Maybe expand on the Seer stuff since Juno’s design really goes after the whole Peacock design imo?
Labrys (Ariadne): Her Persona is the princess who helped Theseus make his way through the maze to reach the Minotaur. She already sort of HAS a unique ability, what with her power to make string constructs (I know tat this is basically to make her an equivalent to Nu-13 from Blazblue in Persona 4 Arena but it is still interesting). So maybe expand upon those string constructs.
Ken (Kala-Nemi): This one is hard because outside of the Persona wiki and wikipedia I find NOTHING about this guy. Looking at the wiki we get these descriptions:
“ Kala-Nemi is the pre-Vedic spirit of the Zodiac, encircling the universe like a great serpent. Also referred to as the Rim of the Wheel of Time, Kala-Nemi's association to the zodiac is closely linked to the observation that all seasons are determined by the position of the zodiac in the skies. In the Ramayana Kala-Nemi is a Rakshasa, as well as Ravana's uncle.”
“ Kala-Nemi is the ultimate Persona of Ken Amada. Prior to him gaining this new power, Ken's initial persona was Nemesis, the goddess of divine retribution. After a dramatic event took place, his attitude and resolve changed: It was to never look back again, facing the future, and his fate, straight-on. Kala-Nemi, a Vedic deity of fate, would probably best reflect the personality of a boy who finally knows his way.”
More talk about the deity of fate stuff rather than the Rakshasa thing (something from Hindu mythos), so maybe some powers connected to the Zodiac based on the symbols on its shoulders would be interesting.
Koromaru (Cerberus): Not much I can think of here other than combining the Dark and Fire attacks into Hellfire.
Yukari (Isis): As I mentioned before, Isis is the most powerful magic user in the Egyptian Pantheon, out-foxing Ra and learning his true name to become more powerful than him. She is also known as a healer and a Sky goddess both fitting Yukari’s Wind and Healing spells. But I don’t think she’s gonna be getting her Osiris back if you know what I mean.
Junpei (Trismegistus): This last one is tricky because in gameplay Junpei is a physical attacker, but his Arcana is the Magician and his Persona is a magic god. Trismegistus being a merged identity of Hermes and Thoth (Ancient Greeks liked to equate gods whenever they went to a new land), and he already has Chidori’s Spring of Life ability (which does fit Hermes as he is also a god of healing, given his Caduceus staff), so how do I match Junpei’s physical fighting style with his Persona’s more magical basis? I just had the idea of doing more minor indirect things. Like using fire magic to warp Junpei’s baseball bat into his usual two-handed sword, or using the life power to just enhance his own muscles. I’m not going to do something crazy and turn him into Girono Giovanna from Jojo, that doesn’t fit Junpei.
Sorry if there were a lot of idk or maybes in here, these are just base ideas. I have more ideas for the P4 cast which will be covered in the next part.

7 Chakras, Blockages, & How to Unblock Chakras Using Crystals
Chakras are wheels of energy within our bodies and interwoven with our auras. If your chakras are blocked, negative vibrations, attachments and illness occurs. For me, I had a blocked throat chakra for many years. Once opened, I was able to speak my truth and communicative effectively. I’ll show you how to unblock chakras using crystals, an effective and fun way to spiritual wellbeing.
The 7 Major Chakras and How to Tell Which Are Blocked
Each person has 7 major chakras aligned along the spine from the top of your head to the bottom of your spine. We’ll identify why it’s crucial to unblock chakras. Here are the major 7 and what they represent starting with the root and going up:
1. Root Chakra
Your root chakra is a spinning wheel of energy located at the base of your spine – your coccyx. It’s colour is dark red to black and links us to the energy of the earth beneath us. If you’re grounded and connected to the Earth’s energy, your root chakra will be unblocked and spinning freely. You attract financial prosperity and have a level head.
When Your Root Chakra is Blocked…
When your root chakra is blocked, you may feel scattered and have financial problems or money blocks. You feel disconnected to the earth and anxious. You may even have back or hip pain or problems – reasons to unblock chakras ASAP.
2. Sacral Chakra
Your sacral chakra is the wheel of energy located between your navel and coccyx. It spins in the area of your reproductive organs and is the colour orange. The sacral chakra represents sexual health and creativity. When it’s unblocked, you express your sexuality in a healthy way AND creativity flows into all aspects of your life.
When Your Sacral Chakra is Blocked…
Your sacral chakra governs sexuality, so when it’s blocked sexuality isn’t expressed or satiated. You may have blocked sexual energy, be confused about your sexuality, OR struggle with imagination and creative thought put into action. Illness and infection with sexual or urinary organs may also be present.
3. Solar Plexus
Your solar plexus IMO is one of the most important chakras in your body. It’s located between the bottom of the sternum and above the belly button. The solar plexus is a yellow colour and connects us to the divine energy of the sun and the light. It is your energy zone that supports self esteem, courage, and your personal power. If your solar plexus is healthy, you exude confidence and tackle goals with clarity and fervour.
When your solar plexus is blocked…
you may struggle with self esteem and confidence. You look in the mirror and don’t recognise your true power and beauty. Depression may result from a blocked solar plexus, as well as struggles with career paths, maintaining healthy relationships, making new friends, etc. Digestive illness and problems may surface.
4. Heart Chakra
Your heart chakra is located over and through your heart. In the middle and middle-left of your chest. It’s green in colour and manages all things related to love in your life – romantic love, friendships, family members, etc. It also governs self-love. If your heart chakra is freely aligned, you give and accept love freely, maintain healthy relationships, and love yourself wholly.
If your heart chakra is blocked…
you have trouble loving yourself and may engage in reckless behaviours to self-medicate the emptiness. Low self esteem and feeling isolated from others. You may be overly-defensive and don’t trust others. You may also have heart or lung problems.
5. Throat Chakra
Your throat chakra is located over your throat in the middle of your neck. It’s blue in colour and governs how you speak to others and how you speak of yourself. Communication is the key aspect of the throat chakra and relates to ALL forms of communication including writing and music. It’s how you express (or don’t) express your truth. If your throat chakra is functioning well, you communicate your feelings and needs with others in a healthy manner AND express your true self.
When your throat chakra is blocked…
you may have a problem with pathological lying or simply “stuffing down” your feelings. You are afraid to be yourself and express your truth. Communication is blocked in your relationships and with yourself. Throat and thyroid problems may occur.
6. Third Eye
Your third eye is located between your brows, slightly above the bridge of your nose. It’s purple in colour and allows you to see the truth in others, energy in the spiritual realms, and brings clarity of mind and soul. When your third eye is open, you see the beauty in the world and in others, as well as being able to see auras, invisible truths, etc.
When your third eye is blocked…
You have a spiritual block and don’t see the beauty in others or the world around you. Signs from the universe go unnoticed. You feel disconnected from others and your own spirituality. Headaches, sinus infections, eye problems and other head illnesses may occur.
7. Crown Chakra
Your crown chakra is located at the very top of your head and is the color white. It is your direct link to the energy of the universe – to Source energy a.k.a. God, Goddess, or the Divine. Its your source of spiritual connection and gives you the ability to hear god’s voice, accept divine healing, and feel the presence of your guides and angels.
When your crown chakra is blocked…
you may not believe in god or any other power outside of physicality. Hearing divine guidance or feeling the presence of spirit guides is non-existent. You may feel “unlucky” or angry because of past traumas. You’ll feel disconnected spiritually and alone in the universe. Headaches and other illnesses may occur.

How to Unblock Chakras Using Chakra Crystals and Techniques
Once you’ve figured out which chakras are blocked, target them with various chakra-aligning methods. OR do a full chakra-alignment with crystals and meditation.
Our Favourite Crystals to Unblock Your Chakras
Crystals come directly from the earth and therefore vibrate with healing earthly energy. All of our medicines come from the earth and so why can’t natural resources also provide some sort of healing? They can! This includes crystals and stones of various types and colours. Here are my favourite crystals to unblock chakras and how to use them:
1. Root Chakra: obsidian, red jasper, hematite, ruby
Any black or red stone is useful in unblocking and healing the root chakra. Place a small to medium size stone directly over or nearby your root chakra while bathing, resting, or meditating. Allow enough time for the crystal’s energy to lend to your own.
2. Sacral Chakra: carnelian, garnet, bloodstone, orange calcite
Any orange to red stone or crystal will help unblock the sacral chakra. Again, place a small to medium stone/crystal over your sacral chakra during meditation or ritual bathing. Wear or carry an orange or red stone to align your sacral chakra throughout the day.
3. Solar Plexus: citrine, yellow calcite, yellow quartz, gold tiger’s eye
Yellow and gold stones and crystals are wonderful for unblocking the solar plexus. Wear on your person or place over the solar plexus for solar, healing vibrations.
4. Heart Chakra: green calcite, peridot, jade, emerald, rose quartz, watermelon tourmaline
Any green or pink stones and crystals aid in aligning the heart chakra. My favourite for self-love and the heart chakra is rose quartz. Watermelon tourmaline is great because it has pink and green colours which balance relationship and self-love qualities.
5. Throat Chakra: angelite, sodalite, turquoise, blue calcite
All blue crystals and stones aid in unblocking the throat chakra. The best way to use crystals to unblock your throat chakra is to wear it as a necklace. My favorites are sodalite and turquoise. They vibrate truth, communication and healing vibrations. PLUS the blue stones provide peace and comfort.
6. Third Eye: amethyst, sugilite, lapis lazuli, and sapphire
The third eye chakra is purple to blue in colour and therefore all purple and dark blue crystals help to realign it. My favourites for opening the third eye are amethyst and sugilite. Place a crystal over your third eye while laying down and feel its divine vibrations blessing you with intuition and psychic abilities.
7. Crown Chakra: selenite, clear quartz, diamond, amethyst, moonstone
The crown chakra is linked to Divine Consciousness and cosmic connection and vibrates a light purple to white colour. White, clear and purple stones work well for unblocking the crown chakra. While laying down, hold a crystal to the top of your head or while meditating.
How to Unblock Chakras with Crystal Methods:
Wear chakra crystals in jewellery or carry in your pocket to unblock chakras
Place over the chakra while laying down, meditating, or bathing
Infuse water or tea with crystal vibrations (make sure you do this safely! many crystals and stones are not safe to put directly into liquids)
Place around the bathtub while bathing
Hold over your blocked chakra for 15+ minutes while watching TV or resting
Create crystal grids on your altar, nightstand, table, etc. using crystal chakras with an intention of aligning your chakras
