I'm trying to play old Armored Core games, there's one that evades me 😔 Verdict Day is the only one you can't emulate and discs cost 100$+

I even whipped out the old xbox 360 because the only little beacon of hope here is that I can buy it for $20 on the xbox 360 store and just download it to my xbox... finally I've outsmarted them all and can play the video game. But then LITERALLY YESTERDAY everyone is having a weird log in issue that shows up every year or two 😭😭😭😭 so I can't log in and buy the game until they fix that 🥺🥺🥺🥺

Hi! Thank you, I'm doing alright and am here to explain my absence

Basically, I've been gone for about 2 months and the first month was mostly a break cause I went on vacation for a good portion of it out of state

This second month I have really been buckling down on a very big project for this blog that I have been working on, on and off, for about 6 months! It's definitely the biggest thing I've ever done and, right now, my tentative deadline is sometime before August 21st (cause that's when my classes start again). Based on the way things are going, I think that's very possible to meet! So it's definitely something to look forward to!

I won't be giving any information away right now, but I will say that I'm super proud of it already and really excited to put it out there when it is done. It was originally supposed to be a 1000 follower milestone project that got put on hiatus for a few months due to uni stuff, so I've really just been dedicating this summer to completing it. It's something that I've been wanting to do for a long time but couldn't nail down how I wanted to format the idea, and I've only recently really had the time to put in the effort necessary into making it a real thing!

I definitely meant to get around to answering more asks and doing more overall writing, but like I said, this has been taking a good portion of my energy and time, so all of that is on the back burner right now and will be a more consistent thing when this is out

I'll try to be a tad bit more active and not just disappear off the face of the planet for months at a time too, but in, general, I'm going to be mostly away until I get this done and released

So I definitely apologize for my absence and ask everyone to be patient with me for awhile longer, and also a big thank you for everyone who's still around and I hope you'll continue to stick around!

I like to draw, of course, but another cool part of being an artist is how I see the world

When I see models on billboards I analyze how their poses work, I look at how blurry or defined a shadow is depending on how close the object casting the shadow is to the surface, I put different colored things under sunbeans to see how the reflected colors affect things in the room. I feel like I see so much that other people don't see

The Justice League have a problem, one that needs some level of knowledge and expertise of a being from the Infinite Realms to give them a better chance of actually solving this problem.

However.

Every ghost they have summoned, without fail, took one look at Constantine. Squinted (yes, squinted). Then decided to go back to where they came without a word.

This. Would have been useful, nice even. If it was a situation where they needed the summoned being of a cult to head back to where they came without a fight.

But alas, that is not what is happening.

The Justice League, obviously, ask him why the ghosts keep fleeing back to their Realm at the sight of him, but Constantine can't answer because he genuinely has no idea why they keep leaving when getting a proper look at him.

So they keep trying and they do find some success in it. They summoned a boy, most likely older than he physically looks yet it still puts some of them off because of, well.

You know.

A boy with white hair and toxic green eyes. The boy stops short, as if not expecting to be randomly transported to somewhere else, takes a look around the room, then the Justice League. His eyes settle on one person.

Constantine, in particular.

He squints (Why do all of them squint? Nobody knows) and then a sudden looking of realization passes on his face. Different from the looks of vague fear and genuinely want to not involve themselves any further, his face held slight disgust and a heavy amount of disappointment.

Thankfully, he didn't leave immediately after that.

Constantine asks what's with the look on the ghost boy's face, the ghost boy in question squints even further. Stares at Constantine for a moment or two, buries his face in his hands and brings his knees to his hand and groans out.

"He could've done so much better."

Reverse Clone AU

So, I've seen a couple stories where Danny is Damian's clone. How about we reverse it?

Danny was born Damian Al Ghul, being raised to be an assassin since he could walk. However, he had a good heart, and eventually his mother overstepped around him (maybe she killed one of his favorite caretakers? Maybe he saw her killing someone with a loving family?), causing him to decide to leave the League next time they let him outside.

He was discovered by the Fentons, got adopted, and had his name changed from Damian Al Ghul into Daniel 'Danny' Fenton. Over the years, his time in the League slowly faded from memory, only remembering that one moment that drove him from them.

Talia, meanwhile, tried to create another baby, but found she didn't have any more DNA from Bruce. However, she did have plenty of Damian/Danny's DNA, so she decided to simply clone her son, making sure that this one would never get it in his head to run away. She decided to let the memory of her first son go, completely overriding it with the new Damian, as if he had been the first son and not merely some clone, forcing everyone in the League to keep the fact a secret.

So, things continue on, Danny becomes Phantom, Damian becomes Robin, so on and so forth. Eventually, one of the Batclan stumble upon Danny and take an interest in him once they realize he looks like Damian.

They actually don't think that he's a clone, because he's older than Damian and records show him having a history older than Damian, so they believe that Talia had another child, which Damian is already a little salty about, because it means that his status as the heir of the League and potentially his title as the only blood son of batman are completely meaningless.

Unfortunately, their investigations lead to the League figuring out where Danny is, at which point Talia drops by and decides to reveal in front of everyone that Danny is the original Damian and Damian is a clone meant to take his place.

The only one who takes it well is Danny, who tells everyone to get off his porch before he activates the home defense systems because he does not care for this drama.

Friendly reminder that even if the Percy Jackson teaser looks amazing and it talks to our inner child and ofc we have all the right in the world to like it, we shouldn't forget about the wga strike. I don't wanna ruin the party, on the contrary.I'm SO excited for the show…. but its good to also remember what its happening on the real world.
