Dew is fucking stubborn, He tries to keep up appearances while Swiss is teasing him relentlessly, Dew is having self esteem/abandonment issues, he feels like he’s only useful if he is playing the guitar or getting his insides scrambled by someone’s but is too pissy to tell Swiss because again “appearances”. Swiss notices something isn't right when Dew's keens of pleasure start to choke off into staggering hiccups. Swiss has a bruising grip on one of Dew's hips, the other is in his hair hard enough to burn. Dew was the one who asked for a rough scene, to be tossed around and fucked into the mattress, but now, Swiss can tell just from the shudder in Dew's body that it isn't giving him what he needs. Swiss lets up, slows the pace, he peels his fingers out of the skin of Dew's hip and tries not to look at the bruises already forming. "Dewy, if you need a break we can--" "Keep going, I'm fine," Dew growls. Beneath all the anger in his voice, Swiss can hear the desperation, the whine, the way it all threatens to break apart. Dew's not fine. Swiss loosens the death grip he has on Dew's hair and Dew slumps forward, falling forward to rest on his elbows. He makes a noise that can't be mistaken for anything but a sob. Swiss makes to pull out, to gather Dew into his arms and figure out what the fuck is going on, but Dew rocks his hips back as Swiss does. "Don't stop--fuck--please you can't stop--I--"Dew's breath hitches. He has his face pressed tight to the pillows but Swiss can see the way his shoulders heave as he fights between breathing and sobbing.

Swiss slides his hand up Dew's back, along the knobby line of his spine, to grip the base of his neck. It's gentle, far gentler than he's touched him in the last half an hour. "Dew, what the fuck is going on?" Dew shakes his head hard, he doesn't raise his face. Swiss watches as Dew digs his fingers into his own hair, gripping hard at the scalp. Swiss is afraid to move. Knows that the second he moves to pull out--to stop this--Dew is going to spiral further. Swiss presses his thumb into the base of Dew's skull and rubs, pressing up into the sweaty hair at the base of his neck. "Dew, you have to help me out here. Give me something."

Dew rocks his hips back again, clenching down as he does. Swiss hisses. He grabs Dew's hip hard with his other hand and holds him in place.

"Not that, fuck. Can I move us?"

Dew's still for long enough that Swiss thinks that means no, but eventually he nods slowly. And Swiss maneuvers them onto their sides, legs slotted together.

Dew's muscles contract in rhythm with his crying, and Swiss really should have gone soft by now because of Dew's panicking, but Dew's body is making sure he can't, fluttering and clenching. Swiss presses his nose to the back of Dew's hair. Dew grinds his hips back on instinct and Swiss has to stop him again. Dew's stuck somewhere between subspace and a full break down and Swiss is stuck with him. Swiss curls his arm around Dew's stomach and holds him tight.

Swiss locks his other arm around Dew's hips, and finds Dew still hard and leaking copiously. He whines as Swiss' fingers brush over the head of his cock, grinding his hips back against Swiss' almost mindlessly.

Dew's so far gone, it happened like a flipped switch and now Swiss has his hands full of weepy, desperate fire ghoul. He rests his face against Dew's neck, and presses a kiss there. "Dew, you have to help me."

Dew tips his head back against Swiss' shoulder. He rolls his hips again. Dew reaches down, he pulls Swiss' hand from his sternum and drags it up to his peck, pressing Swiss' fingers down on the nipple ring, and keening at the touch.

"I need--" Dew slurrs, "don't stop. Please don't stop I'm ok. I'm ok." And Swiss knows he's not ok, but he also knows it'll be worse if he stops. If this ends now, Dew will shutdown. If he sees it through, he has a better change of talking him through it, of pulling him out of it. They've done this before. He takes Dew's nipple ring between his fingers and tugs, far gentler than he did five minutes ago, but he wouldn't know it based on the sound that Dew makes. "I won't stop, Droplet," Swiss promises.

Swiss grinds his hips forward and the air hisses from Dew's lungs. It doesn't take long before Dew is dragging Swiss' other hand to his cock. Swiss jerks him off with slow measured strokes, it matches the gentle way he's fucking into him.

"I'm fucking useless," Dew says as he grinds back against Swiss, the words slurred and breathless.

"No." Swiss keeps the pace leisurely. Now that Dew's talking he doesn't want him to stop. And if what's going to make him talk is a dick grinding into his ass then Swiss is going to give it to him. "I am. This is the only thing I'm any good at and I can't even get fucked right--" "All you have to do is lay there. I'll take care of you."

Dew does, turning his head so they can see each other. Swiss takes the opportunity to kiss him, slow and languid. Dew's hips twitch up into Swiss' hand. He's clenching repeatedly around Swiss, his body shuddering. Swiss kisses the corners of his mouth when the pleasure is too much and Dew's mouth goes slack against Swiss'

Dew's back bows as he cums all over Swiss' hand and his own chest with a grating sob. Swiss tries to be gentle, but the spasms of Dew's muscles drag him closer and closer to the edge and he hilts himself harder than he means to when he cums, growling into Dew's shoulder. He crushes Dew to his chest, locking his arms around his ribs and squeezing. Dew shakes in his arms, his breath catching on sobs. Swiss presses his lips to every inch of available skin, brushing his hair out of the way to kiss the back of his neck and along the edge of his jaw. "Dewy," Swiss whispers in his ear, "are you ok?"

Dew nods, but doesn't say anything, and Swiss lets him go quiet. A few minutes later Dew starts to squirm against him, the position no longer comfortable, and Swiss lets him move. Dew rolls over and pushes at Swiss' shoulder until Swiss lays flat on his back. Dew seals himself to his side, pressing his head to Swiss' chest. Swiss slides his hand up to Dew's hair and starts to brush it out with his claws. "I'm sorry," Dew finally says. "You don't need to be. And don't think we're not going to talk about this."

"About what?"

"You, and this 'I'm useless' bullshit."

Dew stiffens. "It's fine."

"It's not," Swiss insists, "and we're going to talk about it."

"Not yet?" Dew asks. "Not now?" Swiss reaches over with his other hand and starts a small braid near Dew's temple. Dew goes even more boneless. A purr kicks up in his chest. "Fine," Swiss agrees, "but I'm not going to forget about it." Dew presses a small kiss to Swiss' pec, just over his heart. "You never do." They fall quiet for a few breaths, Swiss works the braid into Dew's hair, and Dew continues to sag more and more into him as all of the tension drains from his body. "Thank you for taking care of me," Dew whispers, breath fanning out over Swiss' chest. Swiss smiles. He finishes the first braid and starts another. The hair is silky between his fingers. Dew's eyes slip closed as he starts to drift. "I'll always take care of you, firefly."

Louis - Obvs I draw him all the time and it's because I'm crazy and wild. Not only am I the resident protag enjoyer (he is the protagonist to me even tho lestat takes over hfdsg) I also just relate a lot to his personality and reaction to vampirism. I perk up whenever he is mentioned I love reading about him there should be 500 more books about him

Lestat - Usually Armand is second but I'm in a Lestat mood this week sorry babygirl. I like how he is the opposite of Louis in aesthetics and personality. Though I don't love that he becomes the protag in the books, I understand AR's reasoning and will still enjoy them

Armand - I like his conniving vibe and unsettling energy. I am delighted whenever he is on screen :) 0 critiques only thumbs up emoji

Claudia - Such an interesting character… I love how she is written. I watched iwtv 1994 when i was around ten and I really only remembered Claudia, she kind of terrified me at the time because the thought of perpetually being a child IS terrifying and cruel. She has never done anything wrong in her life btw

The Swamp That Lestat gets Thrown In - I'm just a huge fan

Gabrielle - There should be a whole book on her btw. I too often have the urge to wander the wilderness for years on end and abandon all earthly obligations

Daniel - huge nerd I think he's kind of hilarious <3 most unhinged character award

Paul - PAUL BOOK WHEN. BLEASE. I'm so crzazy about him I wish he was brought up in later books!!! He's so important to Louis' character!! Literally the first character (besides louis and daniel) to be introduced. I always wished that instead of visiting Louis' grave at the end of qotd, Loustat visited Paul's instead. Okay so !!!!!

They first meet in a really...non ideal way, with Jonah almost dying after being careless and falling off a cliff, but luckily Melaine was nearby travelling with a couple other doctors. It was a less than optimal situation, but they help him back on his feet. I'd call it love at first sight but the most he saw was just a blur of a lady asking him questions so he didn't pass out, so I'll say it was destiny instead. They were both 18ish and real stupid <333 They started bumping into each other way more after that, and at some point began a little friendship in the wastes. Jonah flirted with Melaine first but never really made a move on her, or even tried to get her to flirt back. It was mostly him joking around and using the worlds cheesiest pickup lines for fun. She thought it was charming however and started actually flirting with him. So now he's just like "🕴🏿augh." [Not actually as smooth as he seems and cannot for the fucking life of him take what he dishes out]. It was just a fling for that moment though, since Jonah was too busy thieving and running around from bandits and Melaine had her patients to care for, so their relationship ends up on the backburner.

When they're in their early twenties though, they finally make some time for each other and start getting more serious about everything. Jonah gets injured in minor ways to go see her in the new hospital she works at, and although she knows he's being reckless and stupid for that, it's reckless and stupid in a charming way <3. She's so obsessed with this weird little freak who keeps coming in with the weirdest injuries just to see her again, and she starts doing the same by meeting him out of the hospital in his outposts and other work spots. . . Until she sees him badly injured in said work spots and goes fucking apeshit. Legally as a healer She's not SUPPOSED to hurt anybody with scalpels, but hey, just try to fucking stop her while in stabbing range. Her insane combat skills make Jonah swoon and sigh dreamily. She's so passionate about everything, and the fact she can take on so many people at once without breaking a sweat, leaving them all alive on the ground but unable to get to her, all while having that murderous rage in her eyes... it just leaves him like [Heart eyes] uehehe. Oh doc you're so cool ♡ [bleeding out].

She scolds him for being reckless and almost dying while patching up his wounds [again] and he's just. So lovestruck. Now that he's seen this other side of her and it drives him kind of crazy. From there on they both see each other more often, do more things for each other, get them presents, up until it culminates in Jonah being like "oh doctor you ever hear the joke about hospital food haha.a..... its not great.... so.... hey.... why don't you let me cook for you, right ?" [Love confession]. And they're finally official from there ♡♡♡♡ The obssession is so mutual and they're both so normal about it [lie]

The adventure from Jonah's life combined with his bright eyed hopeful ideas even in the face of so much hardship everywhere just charmed her beyond words, and it helped her keep pushing in the darkest of hours. He was a man who struggled in a planet filled with danger in every corner, and yet he remained so kind, no matter the situation he found himself in. It inspired her to do the same. As for Jonah.. well, Melaine's ever gracious self was just impossible for Jonah not to love. There was something so incredible about her that he never could explain. Something about how she was always so blunt, so endlessly patient but never to a point where she would allow someone to ignore her authority, how she always held herself as someone with a very noble goal, but still remained kind and helpful for the people who needed her help... She was an angel on earth to him. Someone so admirable, so good hearted, yet with the skill and speed of a trained soldier, never letting her guard down, willing to do anything to protect what she believed in... what a woman ♡

Their relationship has always been based on both mutual admiration and in slight obsession with each other in like, a soul mate kind of way, but they worked it out and it became much more healthy don't worry. They're both endlessly attracted to each other, everything about the other is perfection incarnate and they'll accept no less than that. Even after they reunite, they're still helplessly in love, like they never left at all... they're soooo everything coded ♡ [<- so normal right now]

Trigun Book Club update volume 2/3/who knows

One more week until Trigun Maximum! Then my volume numbers won’t be off :’)

I feel like every time I sat down to read this time around, I got interrupted. Anyways, this is a long one, so buckle up

Ch 13. get his ass cobbler-san

Okay so maybe I kinda spoiled myself probably not really, since the beginning I’ve had the question (that the reader is obviously supposed to have) of why does Vash have such a big bounty on his head, but I saw someone say that he’s the Jesus character of Trigun and like. okay question answered I know enough about Christianity to fill in the blanks here, anyways with that it mind it’s really interesting to see how Vash mentions that his goal is to send Knives to hell

This guy kinda reminds me of that guy from Yu Gi Oh. Kaiba? Yeah Kaiba

Even though I rarely read manga digitally anymore, I feel so spoiled with how much manga is published online nowadays. These very obvious scans of paper volumes is so much harder to read, I’m sounding out like half the words I read

You know that chapter of Kino’s Journey (okay I know you don’t bear with me here) where Kino goes to that country where everyone is obsessed with this one guy’s painting of tanks and they’re all like “it says so much about war and society” and then Kino meets the painter and he’s all like “nah I just think tanks are really cool”. Yeah that painter is Nightow

Which is more elegant, this girl’s dress of Vash’s coat tails?

Has Vash always worn an earring? Have I just never noticed? I see but don’t look? How coquette

The interspersed English that Nightow uses always adds a bit of humor. I’m not even a translator but sometimes I think about what I would do with those bits. Would I keep it to make extra work? Would I translate it into a different language that’s more commonly understood than Japanese but not English (such as Spanish)? Translations are weird man....

Vash has the best pouting face of all time

Okay sorry I said a lot in that chapter but I don’t think any of it was serious. Not that that was a very important chapter anyways, other than the bits of world building we got at the very beginning

Volume three! Ch 14. Omg I see that big cross in the cover. Do we get to meet Nicholas Wolfwood himself? God I hope I’m right and he’s the one with the cross because I’m blasting this post for the Trigun Scholars to see. Blease be kind I know so little

Seems like this volume or at least this chapter is going to be a lot of Vash vs Kaiba

So we’re seeing Rem’s death scene and how it displays her love for humanity, sacrificing herself to save some, even if she can’t save everyone. And seeing that Knives has been a bit fucked from the beginning huh. And why Vash hates him so much (cue Losing My Religion by REM playing in the back)

Vash is typically painted as an angelic type of character (thinking back to chapter nine[?] with the angel/plant they met on the sand steam) so having him depicted more as a devil character is really interesting. They even called this his true nature, although that could just be this villain character giving him shit. I’m excited to see how Vash’s character is fleshed out in future volumes and how these seemingly two sides of him create a whole

Ch 15. I don’t know (yet?) if Knives’ plan was to kill Rem along with a bunch of humans but damn. backfiredddd

So this spirit/angel urging Vash not to kill must be Rem right? Since he said that if he kills here, she’ll be gone for real? I’m taking this to be more of Vash’s memory of her and not a literal angel or spirit

Ch 16. I was totally about to rag on them for having all this insane technology and Meryl still having to use a typewriter but then I remembered that this series is from what. the 80s? Earlier? Honestly who could’ve imagined the technology we’d have in just twenty years from then, it’s insane.

Oh that’s cool! Vash is called “Humanoid Typhoon” right? It’s usually written as 「人間台風」which literally translates to human typhoon but at the beginning of this chapter, Meryl calls him 「人間災害」with furigana instructing the reader to read it as “humanoid typhoon” (same as with the other times), however this translates to “human disaster” rather than typhoon

One coin part down, eleven to go...

We’ve finally officially established that Vash has a prosthetic arm, I was wondering when that was gonna happen

First of all what is Vash carrying with him second of all holy shit that panel of the person(?) nailed on the cross

That thing was set up specifically for him? Is this another one of the twelve assassins? I feel like I’m gonna get bored of this set up real quick if it continues on like this

oh man I’m struggling with the blurriness of this volume, I keep messing up さ and き in the furigana and if anything’s got a dakuten I’m a gonner

Ch 17. I bet these poor citizens see someone in an over the top ridiculous outfit and just think to themselves, aw man this bitch is about to blow up the city again. Good thing I renewed my insurance last month

Wolfwood speaks in Kansaiben???? Help I’m falling in love it’s my one weakness in this world

I’ve decided that I never want to see Wolfwood written in katakana ever again.

Wolfwood just needs to say あかん and ホンマ and I’m already head over heels

I really like Wolfwood and I promise it’s more than just the Kansaiben! I love how nice he is and he seems to be able to read people pretty well and also he’s kind of a dork. But the Kansaiben helps too

Ch 19. Omg the one guy who I was immediately like 🫵 yaoi proportions ended up being Hornfreak. Yep that’s just how it is

Ch 20. The cat stepped on my laptop and flipped all the images omfg I am having such a time trying to read today oh my god I can’t get it back I guess I’ll just restart my laptop for now? holy shit

Yeah okay closing out of the site didn’t help, restarting my laptop didn’t help, all files were flipped, but luckily someone suggested clearing the cookies for that site and it actually worked. I am so bad with technology. What a ridiculous day.

I’m gonna be honest I don’t know how you all can read this in English, I could only figure out who was speaking based on the fact that Legato used だ where Wolfwood would’ve used や

Guy who only reads shoujo manga: I’m getting a lot of shoujo manga vibes from this (no but really, there’s a bunch of artistic choices in Trigun that I mostly associate with shoujo manga, but I think it has more to do with the age of the manga. Probably Ikeda Riyoko’s influence)

Knives is such an overdramatic bitch, I love that

Angel Vash! The inherent danger of the divine! Although a god can be kind it can also be cruel! Power can be used in many ways and thus is its danger!

We’ve finally established that Vash and this power that Knives brings out of him is the reason why July Town was destroyed. This is probably also the reason why he’s got such a high price on his head

Also really enjoying the implications that these human forms aren’t Vash’s and Knives’ “true” bodies

Extra chapter. Thank god he didn’t shoot the egg oh my god. The irony of consistently taking the lord’s name in vain so much here (term used ironically but also because what else can I say) while reading Nightow’s bible fanfiction just now hit me

I admit it, I totally skimmed that. In my defense, it’s past midnight.

Final thoughts: Having officially finished up the original trilogy, that was pretty damn good! The ending was great (yes, I know there’s much more to go) and quite bittersweet. The pace really picked up for me in this last volume. My only main issue was just friction between me and the genre, which is no one’s fault but my own. I could definitely do for less action scenes, but again, my favorite genre is the “nothing happens” genre. I’m really excited to see where Trigun Maximum takes the series, especially in the ways that these angels/plants are developed. I’m also excited to see more of Knives and Wolfwood and especially how they both interact with Vash, since they obviously have extremely different perceptions of him. I’m not quite sure where the plot is going to go from here, since it seems like Vash took Knives along with him in his disappearance, but I’ll follow Nightow wherever he leads us in this series. What I’m not looking forward to is having to read more of Nightow’s handwriting. God. Even so, somehow it’s still not the worst I’ve seen from mangaka. Oh, also, there was significantly less of that black cat than I expected. I’ll just assume it comes back in Maximum. And (sorry these thoughts are so unordered) wow the art was so stunning, especially there at the end, that I definitely have half a mind to pick up the physicals for my personal collection. Especially with a fanbase revival due to Trigun Stampede, I’d be more shocked if it’s out of print than if it isn’t. Oh and one more thing, we went through three of the twelve coin assassins. Does that mean that we’re going to go through the other nine in Maximum? Also, I’m not quite clear on why Vash has to collect the coin fragments like this is Dragon Ball (disclaimer: never seen or read any of the dragon ball franchise). Was mystical object collection just a trend back then? What’s going to happen, or supposed to, when Vash gets them all? Hopefully this will become clear as the series continues.

SKDFKSDKF OMFG my many many many bushmeds... yeas.. most of these are Mega works in progress but i think it's good to jot them down here so that i can revisit them when i work out character designs/ref sheets and whatnot! and these are just the ones off of the top of my head! @_@ i surely have more buried in my gf and i's server LOL. sooooo let's break it down really quick! HEHE:

My "Canon" medsnip: the medic and sniper in Thou Giveth Fever is just the Main/Default/Canon/Whatever medic and sniper. takes place in same universe right after the comics!

My gf and i's medsnip: arlowe and wren! a lot of their story takes place pre-teufort but they eventually become RED's medic and sniper! ^v^ "canon" red medic and sniper don't exist in this universe. they're already dating by the time they wind up at teufort together! we're still working on a lot of their backstories but i'll eventually talk more about them/write a fic for them too! ^u^

My swamp monster medsnip: sniper is a werecroc that lives out in the comfy cozy australian bush/marshland (haven't decided yet). rough it as a human and also as a crocodile and loves being alone. until one day a very curious "Doctor" starts stomping around his secluded slice of heaven in search of/researching the plants and animals of the area (to harvest for his zany experiments of course!)... sniper hates people but this one just seems kind of... Charming... hmm.... !

My eldritch medsnip: MEGA work in progress. need to think about this more actually.,., Medic Is Not What He Says He Is and sniper has a hunch... ;-) medic has a "breath of life" ability which is ironic because the hurting is more rewarding than the healing! :'( HEHE. also have a cool idea for an eldritch sniper but idk if i'd want to fit them in Together or have separate aus!

My old retired domestic medsnip: would follow my "canon" medsnip. years and years later, some vague skip of time. the sorrow..,., the sweetness.,., in the Unlikely Event they retire... how might that go.. :) sniper's fine with aging but medic is NOT. everything can be defied! age! death! isn't that what you want sniper!! but maybe sniper wants to retire to some small house on the german coast with medic.,., medic can extend his life infinitely with his "devil deal" but what about his sniper.,., who has already died once... but could either of them Really ever retire...? i see all of the yugos (except mace) as related, in that vague nationverse manner where... there's not really a name for what they are to each other, but they're still family? in human aus i sometimes translate it as them being cousins, but it depends on the situation!

they exclusively use their vague blood relation for evil !! they barely treat each other like family until they need something, and then they're like 🥺 cmon man we're brothers.... and somehow it works most of the time

When Lavi falls in love, he falls hard

The first time he actually realizes he's in love with you is because he gave Bookman a list of symptoms he experienced and asked if there's any rare diseases where these would make sense (he hadn’t made the connection yet that you were the common denominator because sometimes he had the “symptoms” when he was with your entire friend group and not just you.)

Lavi's also a little bit of a coward, romantically - because he's a dork and inexperienced in flirting

So it takes him a while to really start flirting with you, and when he does, it’s chaotic as heck

The first long list of pick-up lines he throws at you are hand-picked from hours of research (most of them fall flat or just straight up confuses you) and he even throws three or four in within the same 30 minutes out of sheer panic that they don’t seem to be working!

He loves playing with hair - any length!! You’ve fallen asleep on the couch with him and when you wake up, his hand is still massaging your scalp gently. You turn around slightly, expecting to be met with his emarald eye and one of his warm smiles but instead, he’s sleeping peacefully, his hand still running along your scalp gently.

Whenever you have an outing together, Lavi LOVES when you pick his outfit. Not because hes a fashion disaster, he’s got a basic and decent taste (but his color match-ups are sometimes atrocious)

He just feels a sense of pride when he’s walking around town with you in an outfit you picked, that you think suits him (also boosts his ego and makes him feel a little bit handsome<3)

OBVIOUSLY doesn’t mind making them himself if you’re busy or don’t want to, but it’s an act that makes him feel a bit special

Proudly tells everyone you meet that you’re dating. He went with you to a work dinner once and told them that you’re together - they all nodded and one of your co-workers answered with a confused, “we know..?”

Lavi knows every single one of your comfort foods and drinks for every kind of occasion - you’re feeling sad and down? Let him run to the store real quick and he’s back with everything that might cheer you up - including your favorite comfort movie at the ready. You’re pissed off and frustrated about something? He’s already made you that hot beverage you like as he gently massages your shoulders and let’s you get it out of your system!

His favorite past time is reading aloud for you. He’s never really read aloud for anyone like this, so it feels extremely intimate to him and he fought through a blush the entire first time he did it, poor boy was stuttering through the first chapter until he got more comfortable (because you grabbed his free hand and squeezed.)

His favorite animals are foxes, because they’re in his favorite color, so he’s definitely gotten you and him matching fox kigurumis!

Lavi can't sing clean to save his life, but when you're cuddled up close in bed and he gruffly almost whisper-murmurs out lullabies that Allen taught him, it feels like home and you fall asleep with a smile on your face

OOGH THANK YOU SO MUCH LEAH the way i dropped all my work to answer this ask SGHFDHGDH thibault my beloved,,, just for everyone's information he uses he/they/xe pronouns so you'll catch me using all of those!

thibault was born in canada. they had a very big family and the house was always insanely busy and loud and they HATED it and they HATED the country they lived in (idk much about cyberpunk canada so i'm still working on all of this a little bit LMFAO) so tl;dr they managed to move south and ended up in night city

he was still like. fairly young when he moved, didn't get to finish high school and also didn't feel like doing so anymore LMAO so he just tried to find work and jumped around town for a while trying really hard to get settled in somewhere but it wasn't really working out too well :( he didn't know anyone in town and had BIIIG trust issues so it wasn't easy to make friends or like. stay in touch with the people who he DID eventually let in

at some point he became a doll at clouds because he kinda ended up getting shady jobs at shady businesses and. well. this was one of them :(( he knew what he was signing up for but didn't care all that much, he really just needed some stability in his life and as fucked up as the place was at least it was able to provide him that

xe met mikhail long before the in-game events! mikhail quit his job after refusing the kang tao job offer and he moved to japantown, into the megabuilding where clouds is. that's where he met thibault and he helped xem get out of there and get settled in <3 they actually lived together for a few weeks until thibault could get xyr own place but xe and mikhail kept very close contact, mainly because thibault was at that point still kind of figuring out how like. life works basically LMAO and mikhail helped xem with all of that <33

thibault became a little bit too dependent on mikhail during that time and he kinda felt a bit bad for it, to the point he wanted to kind of. thank mikhail for it. but he wasn't really sure how to do this :// tried to offer him some Fun Times but mikhail politely declined and thibault kinda went "ok. well. that's all i have to offer so i guess i'll just die then" because he felt like he needed to Offer something to others to Have Worth :( mikhail at that point also still felt like that so he wasn't really able to help thibault drop that mindset. i'm biting them both

BUT mikhail continued to help thibault for another while and thibault did kind of feel some sort of attraction to him, though to this day they're unsure what exactly was causing it. but then mikhail started working for arasaka and eventually got relocated and reunited with vitali and he kinda just. stopped talking to thibault a bit. they ended up growing apart to the point they just completely lost contact and thibault was very upset about it :( understandably so LMFAO

at that point they had enough knowledge to be able to stand on their own legs and stuff but they did really miss mikhail because they didn't have anyone else. once again. because if they were to try and reach out to the other dolls at clouds they'd probably be brought back in again and they really did NOT want to do that :// so instead they picked up the mercenary life <3

thibault just kinda jumped from fixer to fixer for a while trying to like. find people who xe vibed with and who xe could trust but. every merc was kind of just there for themself so xe never stayed for long :( xe really wanted to do something about clouds and the whole situation (like judy during the in-game events) but wouldn't be able to do that alone so xe was looking for people who would be willing to help

and THAT is what brings us to vitali >:) he gets fired and becomes a fixer and thibault eventually ends up on his doorstep for gigs and he meets cool people there (i haven't really determined in what order the clown brigade starts working for vito but i do like to think eddie is already there) and decides to stick around <3 but of course mikhail is also there so naturally thibault is. not very happy to see him at first LMFAO

but at the same time it's nice in a way because thibault did really miss him. there'd be some hostility between them at first and thibault is a bit upset still that mikhail just kinda left him for vitali but now they're both just. working for vitali. so like. what can you do about it LMAO and then he also gets an Actual crush on mikhail for a while (while he's still trying to be >:( at him so that's interesting) so yeah he's going through some stuff </3 SGHFDGDFH

during the in-game events, when vincent goes to take over clouds with judy, mikhail and thibault also join them >:) and later in the story, the tyger claws start to get annoying again so then they decide to shut down clouds entirely and the dolls and other employees are offered stable and safe jobs at vitali's nightclub! this is something that happens in the future though, after the broker chapter at some point LMAO but yeah from that moment on thibault will probably also work in the nightclub a lot more to hang out with his friends from clouds :)

thibault hasn't shown their face much in the broker chapter mainly because they're more stealthy than anything else and thus far. there's not a lot of stealth in the broker chapter LMAO but i'm hoping to be able to write them in at some point!! i love them very very much, they're besties with cato and eddie and thibault + cato + vincent is like a new level of chaos that i REALLY wanna write about one day LMFAO

Gagdhshd omfg that took WAY longer than i thought it woukd omfg. Proper cages are so wildly expensive its depressing. I still need to get her a sandbath holder but i have the sand...i ended up getting a big fish tank which im a little on the fence abt but i thinkkk i may be able to make it work, only thing will be the ventilation + no bars means ill have to build her a physical upper level but im kind of excited abt that i have many ideas :3 (tho if anybody is familiar with proper hamster care and im doing anything wrong BLEASE let me know i wont be offended, i want to give her the best life she can possibly have)

It just felt so validating to have somebody other than Ranboo and Tubbo themselves refer to those two as husbands. To have their relationship acknowledged not only as real, but as important. That stream was so good for so many reasons I won’t get into right now, but just-- that moment alone, and I feel seen. That moment alone and I feel validated. Thank you to Technoblade, genuinely, for being the one to acknowledge and recognize it.

Actually while we’re talking about CCs who are queer but never get recognized as such, can we talk about Karl too? Please? It hurts me that he only feels comfortable talking about being ace on his alt, and says he doesn’t think it counts or that he’s part of the community. Karl and Dream both deserve better. I really truly hope that the youngest streamers coming out will pave the way for the slightly-older ones to be accepted, too.

I have many thoughts on Morpheus/Calliope! I feel like they would have originally bonded over being creative and artistic. I love the idea of them working together to create Dreams and Nightmares. And that they have been able to reconnect after both of their imprisonments as the new people that they are. Dream, especially, has clearly changed so much. Before he was caught, he was very cold, arrogant, and vengeful. He wants to be better now, and Calliope would love to see that side to him. Even if they just end up being friends, I like the idea of them having a strong relationship where they really feel supported by each other.

(Also that Dream is kind of awkward now and Calliope thinks it's VERY CUTE)

and omg I LOVE MORPHEUS/LUCIENNE!!! The endless devotion!!! The unconditional love!!! Lucienne waited for him for a century and was the first person to greet him when he came back!!!! Dream's greatest fear in Hell was that he would disappear and Lucienne would have no idea what happened to him again!!! They really are eternal husband/wife material and I would die on that hill.
