oh look they did respond! Wow! Of course we need to continue to hold them accountable and make sure they follow through, but this is actually kind of unprecedented. I’ve never seen a showrunner do that either. so I’m not on the happy train yet but I am hopeful they plan to work with Vanessa and Ashleigh and give them the credit they deserve as actors in front of and behind the scenes.

the fact that he posted that both on twitter and instagram, instead of just talking to vanessa and having her say that in a tweet or something, means a lot. not in the sense that i suddenly think he cares all that much, but in the sense that he’s making himself publicly accountable now and he’s not gonna be allowed to fumble the bag on this promise the way he has in the past. a lot more people than just the fandom are watching now.

so yeah, i do think it’ll bring change and toni will finally get her due (and hopefully vanessa gets a raise) but i’m still a bit skeptical until i see it onscreen. i’m not quite as cynical as some are about it, but i’m not celebrating just yet, either. for anything other than how happy vanessa clearly was today. i’m celebrating that.

Well RM could have gone after her to be a backup to say Sari or something. Maybe Valencia if they don't get relegated since I love Sara Serrat at Sevilla. I just want Rachele at a club with a good budget and at least a tiny chance of UWCL you know? Rayo Vallecano has some good South American players & are midtable. Levante is 3rd but again I don't want her to be a backup. Bordeaux & Montpellier are best French clubs besides Big 2. Oh also RB Leipzig better not get any ideas in a couple years lol
