[11052023] Bot Practice: V1

I really wanna get into drawing robots so I can draw my characters but lack experience. Decided the best way to go about it is to draw fanart of existing bots so I can learn like, what everyone else does. Lol

First bot to my mind was V1. I've drawn him before but never really drew with the intention of learning. Went ahead and took the first image I found and heavily ref'd it as I lazily sketched, allowing myself to make mistakes because hey, here to learn, not stress over perfect details.

// Aight, so; I only discovered Earthbound back during the Brawl era, but was too afraid to play it because of Giygas, and that alone made me terrified of the series for years. Smash introduced me to the boys, so I felt comfortable playing Smash knowing Giygas wasn't in the game whatsoever.

Fast forward to last year. I wanted to play more games to expand my gaming experience with other games, mainly the ones that I hadn't played before. I knew about Mother 3 years ago too, but I got seriously into it around a year ago after watching some gameplay of Earthbound. I also conquered my fear of that bastard and now I can play Earthbound with no fears. In fact, I'm near the end but kinda don't want to finish the game because GOD, it gave me FEELINGS... It gave me something that NO OTHER game had given me before.

That's basically the short version haha, otherwise it'd be way too long. Now, as for why I picked this sweetie? Because Lucas immediately resonated with me the more I got into the series, and I was drawn to him out of every single character. The more I learnt about him, the more saddened I was, yet the more fascinated and awed I was by his character.

Smash also helped me to learn about him too. I actually used to main Sonic, but now I main Lucas haha! I can no longer play as Sonic as well as I used to, but now I can play Lucas really well?? It's... Strange. Hope this answers everything!
