The new Republican House majority has indicated what their number one priority will be when they take control in January. Rather than addressing any actual serious issue that faces the American people, they are going to do a repeat of the same sort of “investigation” that they did of Bill Clinton back in the 90s. In other words, the focus is not going to be on anything that the American people actually care about.

The right wing has been whipping up their base with red meat about Hunter Biden for at least three years now, so it isn’t really a surprise that this is at the top of their list of priorities. But what they don’t seem to understand is that the investigation into Hunter Biden and even into President Biden himself don’t hold any interest for anyone outside of the MAGAt movement. What I mean by that is we honestly do not care whether or not they find any actual evidence of criminal behavior. If they do, then by all means prosecute them. Convict them. Send them to prison.

We are not going to rally around Hunter Biden and try to shelter and protect him in the way that the Republicans have for so long with Trump’s children. If any actual criminal activity has taken place, then by all means let him be charged. That is how it should be, no matter who we are talking about.

As these shenanigans begin, keep this in mind: Hunter Biden holds no official or unofficial position in the White House. He is not an advisor, he is not involved in any decision making for policy, he is not involved in legislation, etc. Heck, he probably isn’t even near the White House the majority of his time. If he has committed crimes, then yes let him be prosecuted and tried. It makes no difference to me.

That is a key distinction here. We are not going to go to the mat for Hunter Biden. We’re just not. Why would we?

I think at this point most Americans know the game the Republicans play. It did not work for them with Bill Clinton, and I have no reason to believe that it will work with Joe Biden. We can see through their scam.

Yes, to haze the new set construction hires my dad (and his coworkers) would send them to find "fallopian tubes." And apparently many of them (men in their early 20's/late teens) would be uniformed enough to fall for it. I believe they would even go to a hardware store and ask a sales person where to find it :)
