● He's a dragon that was trapped in a cave because of a curse and that just happened to be the cave where some guy from another world reincarnates into. So our gay dragon makes friends with him, they MAKE UP NAMES FOR EACH OTHER (which means they SHARE A LAST NAME), the reincarnated slime guy eats him so he can undo the curse (yeah he can just do that) and when he finally breaks the curse, Veldora gets a hot human form and just hangs around his slime boy/girlfriend contributing nothing and looking really hot doing it. He's just there to vibe, be gay and read manga. An absolute himbo, doesn't remember the name of a fucking goddess he fought once, thinks he can solve anything by punching it, and he's absolutely head over heels for this tiny twink of an agender slime.

● Can breathe fire, learned the true meaning of fire from actual dragons, when he's sick due to a crisis of identity/belief, his hallucinations take the form of dragons. depending on who you ask he's either bi or gay, I don't think anyone headcanons him as straight

A Demon Lord with the unique skill Sloth, despite sleeping a lot he’s still one of the most powerful people in the whole world. He does learn a bit about the value of work during one arc, but it doesn't curb his laziness.

In the anime, during Walpurgis, he’s sleeping half-on the table they’re all sitting at. When Guy makes it disappear for plot reasons, Dino keeps sleeping even as his body falls.

Midnight / Macbeth:

For the first several episodes of the arc he debuts as a villain in, he’s just sleeping. And he sleeps through *a lot* during the arc. Later on when he’s awoken by his boss to go take care of the heroes, I think it was treated like a grim and dangerous thing. From that point, though, I don’t recall him ever going back to sleep. It’s later revealed that in his past as one of the child slaves at the Tower of Heaven, he was unable to sleep until he was chosen to train as one of the Oracion Seis. His real name is Macbeth.
