The Fictional Nepo Baby Showdown!
Hello! It is I, runner of @shittycartoondadshowdown and @shittycartoonmomshowdown, here with yet another bracket dedicated to all our favorite nepotism babies of fiction!
What makes someone a nepo baby?
The main qualifier is that their parent(s) are famous or highly accomplished in some way, usually in a way that benefits the child. This could be anything from superheroes to celebrities to CEOs to politicians to actual gods. I'll list some examples below (note that none of these characters are included automatically):
Will Stronghold from Sky High (son of two superheroes & inherits BOTH their powers)
Charley Witherspoon from BoJack Horseman (works for the company his father runs, and we know nepotism is the only reason he got the job because he is COMPLETELY inept at it)
Janine from Pokemon (daughter of a gym leader-turned-Elite Four member)
Cheryl Tunt from Archer (descendant of a railroad tycoon; has a trust fund, a pet ocelot, and a net worth of like $500 million)
Rules:
NO. REAL. PEOPLE. I cannot stress this enough. No Maya Hawke, no Ben Platt, no Lily Rose Depp, none of that shit. This is for FICTION ONLY.
Submit as many characters as you like, but don't submit the same character more than once.
No Harry Potter.
Preferably no Homestuck, either, but I'll begrudgingly include it if it gets enough submissions.

only one who could give him a run for his money is kim gongja from sssrh i think and that's only if u count each floor in the tower as an isekai. which is debatable EXCEPT for the ones from the library which were in fact their own worlds BEFORE being linked w their specific tower once kgj "finished" them

welcome ladies, gentlemen and other bastards who use tumblr dot com to the tournament of characters who travelled from world A to world B either by will or accident, or as i like to call it, the isekaid bitches tournament
as you can see this right here is another tumblr tournament, because we can never have enough of those! i haven't seen this concept yet so i really hope it hasn't been done before. i was inspired by the likes of @powerpolyculeshowdown @weirdgirlshowdown @epicdivorcemantournament and @autismswagsummit just to name a few (won't get any exposure without tagging people you know how this works. in addition i did @interspecies-ship-tournament previously.
submission rules:
-despite the name, you can submit characters from any media, not just isekai anime. it's just simply the best term to describe the situation of a character switching worlds
-however being in another world has to be more than briefly passing through. they have to actually spend an extended amount of time in this other world.
-earth to other world, other world to earth and other world to other world all count
-matchups will be randomized. I'm sorry. there's no way for me to know all of these characters. unless someone can recommend a better alternative for randomizing i will have no choice.
-there are pre submitted characters but i do want to see how many people would submit them otherwise so not saying who they are
-you can submit as many characters as you want but only submit each character once please you know how it goes
-I'll probably limit this to one character per media however i may include multiple characters per franchise if it's a bigger one

results of the first bunch
i democratically held votings if the tiesweeps count so please don't further complain about that
Hinata Tachibana and Tsukasa Jinguuji beat Alan Parrish
somehow Persephone beat the calamity trio (this one genuinely shocked me)
Howl Jenkins beat Noriko Tachiki
Dorothy Gale did beat Tulip Olsen but we democratically elected to let them have the tiesweep because the power of friendship is important
Luigi and Mario beat Dante and Giselle which i think they deserve as compensation because i almost accidentally forgot to include them. sorry mario brothers i will do better
Kim Dokja did technically beat Shen Yuan but controversally democracy decided they should tiesweep as well because of the power of gay sex or something
Carlos the scientist beat the doctor and Rose
and finally Greg and Wirt beat Horse
as for what's next I'm going to start group B, we won't see much of this set of characters until those polls are over which is another week
