Let me just. Copy paste this idea for all of you. Not a manor au, but a palace au:
The King of Pain, father of the one called the Slenderman and husband to Queen Amara the Mad, unexpectedly dies or has to incarnate into a new form, leaving mother and son to lead the kingdom of Memoria until his return. With the King gone, however, several enemies (such as Zalgo, and possibly HABIT? And more.) appear, wanting to take over the kingdom and in some cases, marry either mother or son.
Slender summons warriors from other dimensions to serve him and protect his kingdom and mother, but... He gets a lot of serial killers for some reason. He also gets the very confused Tim and Brian, who Slender 'knights' as proxies just because they aren't homicidal. For the others... He rolls with it. He spent too much energy 'recruiting' them to just send them back
Meanwhile, Amara (who isn't really as mad as many think) rediscovers her ability to take a human form and proceeds to interact with the new 'slayers' without actually telling them who she is. She calls herself Amara the Servant, and nobody thinks twice about it or why they never see the Queen everyone talks about. Slender knows about it and keeps an eye on her to make sure she stays safe.

Unsightly Jester dissociates sometimes. It can get bad and being a ghost does em no favors.
Dr. Smiley is very sensitive to certain textures. So much so she can accidentally injure herself trying to clear her senses of the touch.
Amara's Brother resents his nephews very existence. Not because the Sadist killed Amara, but because he's a reminder.
The Hedonist has frequent nightmares about many things. Loosing Jeff, Jester and Smiley as proxies, The Slenderkin, the war, just to name a few.
Some nights Jeff wishes he was taken instead of Jane, instead of the many who followed him only to die at the gallows. He thinks Jane would have been a better teacher for Briar.
Briar worries each time she leaves her mates she's one day closer to them resenting her. Just like her parents, just like her family, just like her camp. She's so scared they're just charmed.
Dr. Rico had to mercy kill his own wife.
Nurse Ann and Dr. Smiley are each others tie to their lives before. But they can't really see each other. Since Ann's government property and Smiley is a wanted criminal.
Matthias misses his friends. He never regrets his actions but he always scorns the failure of his plans.
Jester doesn't have a grave.

Let me start from the beginning. Maw and Wendy are sisters - twins, they come from the same human mother/carrier. But they have different dads. Wendy is half-Slenderkin, and Maw is half-Zalgoid.
This is how they look like.
(Idk how to explain the whole double paternal thing without launching into an essay on some extensive lore stuff, so I guess you’ll have to take that as the sort of mystical mindfuckery that’s going on in my AU. Rest assured there’s no unsavory stuff involved in the process, that’s not how I write things).
Anyway, Maw was conceived first, a lil teethy fetus that bothered her mom big time. Then Wendy came into existence, and the two shared a womb for a while. Until Wendy grew too big and straight up ate her sister, becoming the only twin to made it out to the world.
But Maw was never really gone.
For 18 years of Wendy’s early life, Maw was stuck in Wendy’s body, a writhing mass of teethy teratoma that manifested to her twin sister in disturbing ways. Above is her form in Wendy’s mindscape, playing the devil’s advocate, feeding her intrusive thoughts, always trying to take control. Chaos is her game and she excels at it, making Wendy’s childhood absolute hell.
On their joint 18th birthday, however, they finally separated. Forcefully. The Zalgoid’s side of the family finally caught up to them and ripped Maw from Wendy, leaving the latter bleeding to death. She didn’t - thankfully, but Wendy lived to face a bigger problem - her Zalgoid sister was free and, with the making of her new body, would soon walk this earth. Which, if the prophecy was true, would herald the end of this world. Very fun!
Events aside, the nature of their relationship is pretty hateful but they do care deeply, even if it’s because they were each other’s only family for the longest time. They would go on to save one another on many occasions, despite fully knowing that at the end of the road they will have to kill each other, and only one - or neither - would remain.
Also I just realized this is just about Maw and Wendy’s relationship and not about them as individuals, so expect a follow up post on each character individually 😅
Bonus pic of a very confrontational scene! (Wendy realizes she is complicit in causing the trauma her sister went through because she kept shutting her out of important decisions that affect them both.)

I would like to know a few of your hcs!
Yay! Ok so these are going to be a mix of Fandoms but mostly creepypasta.
Creepypasta:
Eyeless Jack is completely blind. He relies on his other senses to scope out people. Which is why he hunts mostly the sleeping. They can't trick him if he knows where they lie.
Slenderkin are not born they are molded and created.
Jeff really hates beans. Just loathes them.
Ticci Toby is actually incredibly intelligent, though he mentally has a slow reaction time. (For example if you insult him he'll take a moment to respond) Repetitious teasing is just the easiest way for him to get back at them in the moment.
Masky takes placebos. They make him feel in control and give him a sense of routine.
Hoodie is disabled. He experiences tremors and spasms. Some days he can't walk or needs a cane. But don't count him out, he's still a deadly force.
The Operator has disowned Slenderman. The final straw was Slenderman saving the MH cast.
Jane, Nina, and Korbyn are all dating. Also all three are trans. I like both Trans masc Nina and Trans femme so don't make me decide.
Nina is a light weight when it comes to alcohol. In contrast to her girlfriends.
Sanders sides: Human au
Aromantic Patton and Remus
Remus uses Rat/Rats.
Trans femme Logan
Trans masc Virgil
Warrior cats:
Oatwhisker and Rushtail are the same cat.
Bluestar and Oakheart are trans. Oakheart gave birth to their kits and left them for Graypool to find because he knew she was morning his kits and the entire pregnancy made him dysphoric. So he lied all the kits were still born and no one pressed him.
Spottedleaf died a painful death.
Lionblaze has two broken off claws and a missing tooth.
Goosefeather got to apologize to Moonflower and explain everything. Moonflower, Daisytoe, and Rooktail gave Cloudberry and Doestar an earfull.
Goosefeather died embraced by those who loved him and had wronged him. He was given the chance to reincarnate but he turned it down .Since most didn't like or respect him, his star faded fast.
All those who die as kits or apprentices are given the immediate chance to reincarnate.
Squirrelflight is allergic to feathers.
Sandstorm is as big as Tigerstar. Big wife.

Characters who should never be in the Horrors au but would be funny to see.
Sonic. EXE- we already have enough godly pricks and I don't think this hedgehog would actually survive in the Horrors world.
Sally- its a grimdark au with a NSFW blog. Yes she could be aged up, but that shatters her story. Anyways the funny part would be seeing the others try to protect her.
Any SCP Doctor- We already have Rico ;).
Any SCP entity- Foundation lore is too vast to entangle with the Horrors au. And those characters are hard to separate from it...Not to mention if the Foundation existed, they would have stopped the Horrors apocalypse. Buuuuut could you imagine them trying to capture any of the Slenderkin?
Any Happypasta- self explanatory. But Briar and Jeff the Hugger 🥺.
Issac Grossman- I can't explain it but I just don't think he'd fit.
Poképasta's- A lot wouldn't exist. Not to mention most wouldn't reach the US due to the war and borders closing. Plus BEN is a rarity. Funny because pokemon in Horrors without it being an au is funny to imagine.

What's your best description for The King to someone who is either a very new fan or just doesn't know The King all that well?
If you mean the character himself... Go play or watch a playthrough of the Chzo Mythos games, he appears in the third and forth one. The creepypasta fandom ages ago adopted him as the father of the Slenderbrothers, and he fits that role very well imo. His name is Cabadath.
If you mean in the Horrors AU, the King is the ruler of Memoria, a world a dimension away where Inferni, aka Slenderkin, live. He is a god, at least compared to humans, and the father of the Sadist aka the Slenderman, who is also a god but not as strong as his father [yet]. He is sadistic to most but admittedly capable of deep attachment, such as his bond with his son. He seeks the soul of his dead wife, the Mad Queen, and can only be summoned by slaughtering one of the various cults that worship him until only one remains. His first appearance in the Horrors AU, at least in a fanfic, was in All The King's Men.

Thinking about the Slenderman as a species again. Call them Slenderkin for lack of a better name. My weird headcanons/theory below the cut
Slenderman's fanonly known to be anywhere between 8-12 feet tall in estimation but what if the monster we know now (if it was real) was a subspecies of an older race of creatures that grew around 30 feet tall and lived in a loose clan like social structure?
They are intelligent. They are creative and social (in their circles) and I say are not were because what if they still existed in the modern era?
What if the Slenderman and his brothers are actually the runts of whatever sire they had that came from their homeland and emigrated to more civilized places? What if they're all smaller and actually malformed/or otherwise genetically inferior than their distant cousins? Adapted to human civilization, not the wilds of their home
Perhaps that's because their sire mated with humans.
Perhaps he was just weak himself.
I do headcanon modern slenderkin to be a dominantly male race which is why, when they need to further their species, they breed with humans, females of their kind are few and far between, very rare, and though there are rituals and ceremonies to turn people INTO slenderkin, very few humans can bear the trauma and the changing and if they survive the transformation, they are infertile.
I'm thinking about the sexual dimorphism of the precursor clan as well, and how likely there are black, mottled, speckled, or otherwise patterned slenderkin out there and how the modern version of the Slenderman's entire family tree (if we're counting fan characters and the fanon brothers) are all white because of a lack of diversity in their gene pool.
The north American slenderkin wouldn't stand a chance against their more primal, feral siblings, which I like to imagine live on an island King Kong style, where megafauna both natural and unnatural thrive alongside them in a closed ecosystem. The island is covered by fog and has a strange climate due to geological anomolies but is somewhere north of Norway.
And whenever I think of these precursors on their island I think of a human being that wrecks their ship on its rocks and finds themselves the sole living person alive to witness such a place.
And I have even more questions.

Alright, you got me curious. And I don't get curious on this blog often so take this with a grain of salt: which Horror did you plan on getting pregnant? I thought that wasn't possible.
I haven't planned anything tbh, just rped stuff and had dirty thoughts about it. Technically it isn't possible, buuuuut I'm really into breeding/impregnation stuff so, some canon goes out the window there. But, Briar is definitely high up there in the 'having slenderkin babies' category, as is Xav's Allie. Doby wants a big family according to his creator, so that's another option. And you know, if you want any of your characters to get knocked up, my friend... ;)
