Just wanted to make sure everyone knew Skyrim: Anniversary Edition is now available on the Nintendo Switch, both as an upgrade to their preexisting Skyrim: Special Edition and as an entirely new purchase from the Nintendo eShop ($19.99 and $69.99 respectively). My friends! Today marks the 10th anniversary of the game that saved my life and helped shape me into the writer I am now.

Skyrim is a lot of people's first TES game, and I'm glad for it. Its easily the most accessible entry and the easiest one to get into from a modern gaming perspective. I'm even willing to say that it's the reason for modern Tesblr existing in its current state!

I'm gonna keep this short. No matter your thoughts on Skyrim, no matter your opinion of Todd or Bethesda, we can all come together today as fans and friends of the Elder Scrolls.

A new version of Skyrim is releasing for the tenth anniversary and new console generation. It will include new content from the Creation Club. If you have the Special Edition on PS5, the Xbox X | S, or are a Xbox Game Pass subscribers on Xbox Series X|S  you will receive a free upgrade to an enhanced version on 11/11 for your respective console. You will be able to buy an upgrade to receive the content in the anniversary edition if you own the Special Edition or have Xbox Game Pass.

I got Skyrim about a month after it came out, and it kind of immediately became my depression game because of how much awful shit happened in my life from like 2010-2012. It was my escape and pretty much my only coping mechanism.

I bring this up because the realization that today is the tenth anniversary of Skyrim made me realize that it's, in a way, the tenth anniversary of the year I thought I wouldn't survive.

Can't get over Bethesda releasing a tenth anniversary edition like Skyrim was a under printed cult classic that's hard to get a hold of a real copy for that didn't find it's audience until years after it went out print and not one of the like five most rereleased and ported games in existence

Bethesda has announced the creation of a library of players' adventures in advance of tenth anniversary. So here I am. 👾 Maybe, they will even notice my fanart.

My Love inspired me to participate. Unfortunately, I fell sick when the time was right to draw, as usual. But, on the bright side, I came up with this idea on Tuesday. 🤔 Before that my mind was a blank. I assumed, that making my fanart both comical and picturesque is the most advantageous option.
