like, if i wanted it to look like toxic yuri illustrated with lace and ribbons as a contrast i wouldve given them different facial expressions and wouldve used different colors ;o; the toxic interpretation is interesting! but it just wasnt my intention, and the piece is based off positive romantic feelings i've experienced

some are interpreting my recently posted angel sapphic art as something that has to do with toxicity and codependency and I GUESS I GET IT WITH LIKE, THE PIERCINGS AND THE CORSET LACING SYMBOLISM , and ppl can interpret art however theyd like, but idk it bothers me bc the art is based around my own personal feelings with romance!!

the piercings arent meant to show destructiveness, nor something that is agonizing !! the angels in the illustration are clearly not suffering. the ribbon is drawn to show how two people's intimate experiences interweave them into each others' lives but its not like GLUED or PERMANENTLY THERE they have the ability to be able to untie themselves if they want to. and they're attached together that way bc they feel perfectly happy being that close and intimate with each other, as if they feel like they are the only person deserving of being tied to the other like that.

someone reblogged it and said something along the lines of "this is how it feels to lose my virginity to someone for whom i was and am, we were born to enjoy each others bodies" and honestly they get it, they get it!!
