Gamila, on the other hand, was forced into an arranged business marriage with one of her father’s rich cilents: Barnabus Gasenburg, who treats her more like property rather than a person. Luckily, she happened to cross paths with Roxanna and Serenity during the honeymoon and they got her out of there. While her alleged husband and pimp lord dad are on the hunt for their cilent, Gamila is now freed from a life of endless prostitution and living the life she never had since childhood.

Personality: Gamila is considered the mom friend within the group. While Roxanna and Serenity go nuts on the party and drinks, the drummer usually keeps an eye on them from the sidelines, watching her shots before having to drive them home once they’re completely wasted. She also handles all the band’s earned profit and production as well as serving as the voice of reason whenever either of the girls starts a fight. Sometimes, she’s successful. Other times, not so much. Although Gamila hangs out with her bandmates with a gentle smile, deep down, she’s always checking her surroundings. Afraid that one day she’ll bump into her ex-husband or a member of her father’s prostitution ring and lose everything she loved.

Likes: Like her girls, Gamila grew to cherish the band they’ve created. The rock and roll music they’ve played. The bars, clubs, and concerts they attended to, the unlimited freedom they have in their grasp. This is the life Gamila always wanted. For the time being at least…

Dislikes: Gamila’s family life is a bit of a sensitive topic her bandmates are aware of. Her mother was very negligent throughout her childhood, preoccupied performing sexual favors for clients and her sugar daddy. Her father showed no interest in her daughter either until her arranged marriage. And although she still loves her older sister, Gamila hides her face every time Anai’s sex mania takes the driver’s seat, deaf to words of advice. In addition to broken family ties, marriage and pregnancy perturb her as well. Not because she’s noncommittal, but there’re daily reminders to her misogynistic ex-fiancé.

Strengths: Originating from an early age, Gamila has learned pretty quickly to take care of herself in the absence of her family. Not only is she skilled in culinary arts, but also a better driver than Roxanna’s off-road Tokyo driving and the financial manager on the band’s earnings per performance. Gamila is an excellent swimmer due to being a hippo. And like her gals, she too has a creative side, playing the drums and assisting in the lyrics choice.

Weaknesses: As mentioned before, Gamila is paranoid about being discovered by one of her father’s members and being dragged back as one of Barnabus’s many wives. (He has/had 6 right now). Even with her gals’ reassurance over her safety, hopelessness wains down upon her as she lacks any combat skills. Despite help from her bandmates, her size and weight are not always on her side.

I’ve been rereading Ego and totally forgot about your Sister Wives reference! Even if Jungkook can be a bit boneheaded, he’s honest about who he is, unlike Kody Brown, who is a different sort of fuckboi. I’ve always felt really bad for Meri! I’ve watched clips from later seasons and Kody is always such an asshole to her and clearly favors Robyn. I would want to be a Christine or a Janelle because they seemed to have their stuff together.

i used to watch yearsssss ago, like, first couple seasons, and have only seen their tabloid-worthy drama since then. but one thing i will say is that christine is a whiny mess and does nothing lmao so i would never be her! i’d probably be janelle because she seems really indifferent to kody and just lives her life and has a career and minds her business 💅🏾 

kody is 1000% an asshole to meri, and i’m sure it doesn’t help that meri is miserable and clearly wants out of the marriage but feels pressure to stay with her trash husband. but what gets ME is that she’s not even legally married to him anymore (since he wanted to divorce her to marry robyn...”for the kids”... 😒), and her only daughter is married and out of the house, so she needs to just LEAVE. that man has completely shattered her self esteem and it’s sad smh

‘Sister Wives’: Robyn Brown Faces One of Her Worst Nightmares?

Sister Wives star Robyn Brown continues to keep mysteriously to herself after dropping off the face of the virtual world several months ago. Now with the latest news, it looks like one of her worst nightmares have come home to roost. Out of all the Sister Wives adults from this famous plural marriage, she was the only one to voice her opinion about future promises to the family.

Robyn Brown made this suggestion during the last Sister Wives season. Basically, she couldn’t guarantee following the family again if by chance Flagstaff wasn’t their final destination. She disliked the upheaval of moving immensely for both her and her children.

Sister Wives: Robyn Brown Surrounded By Mystery

The last word from the Sister Wives clan was that they intended to remain in Flagstaff. Along with the intention to build another Vegas-like grouping of dwellings on Coyote Pass. Or in Kody Brown’s case, his wishful thinking for one massive home on the land.

Either way, the Sister Wives brood’s intentions were to live in temporary homes in Flagstaff until the house or houses went up on the Coyote Pass land they own. So the four wives scattered all over town, with at least one home about 30 minutes in travel time away from the others.

Three of the Sister Wives women rented homes, with one, Christine Brown, purchasing her temporary house. But Janelle Brown, Meri Brown, and Robyn Brown, all settled into high-end rental properties.

Reports emerged this week indicating two of the rental properties that the Sister Wives ladies call home right now are on the market. But a new report this weekend indicates that the house Robyn Brown occupies is already sold to a new owner.

Too Many Wives – So Little Houses?

The only house featured in the last season of Sister Wives happened to be Robyn Brown’s house. The entire family landed there with a caravan of moving vehicles when they first rolled into town.

Along with Robyn’s rental property, it seems the house that Meri Brown rents is also in now on the market for sale, according to new reports. But it seems it hasn’t sold as of yet. It looks like as of August 1, reports indicate Robyn’s house now has a new owner. So, it’s unknown what this means to Robyn Brown and her arm of theSister Wives tribe.

Chances are if someone purchased the million-dollar home she lives in, they’ll probably want to move in themselves. So it’s possible Robyn Brown faces moving again, which is something she doesn’t like to do. But what about Coyote Pass? It seems the Sister Wives family remains closed-mouth about the progress or lack of progress on the building there.

Both Janelle Brown and Meri Brown posted recent pictures of scenery that looks like Coyote Pass. Janelle even hinted they planned to look at the view during their Sister Wives dinner that same night she posted the picture of the view.

Meri is seen letting her unleashed dog Mosby run free on land that looked like Coyote Pass in an Instagram video she posted. While there’s no sign of a building or even any construction, both women seem to gravitate to that property.

While the construction of the homes might be out of the camera’s view for a reason, it could be part of what they’re filming for the new season. But if houses were in the process of going up, some Sister Wives fan in the area would probably jump online with pictures to show an update.

Sister Wives: What Does Fate Have In Store for Robyn’s Living Situation?

But as of today reports put Meri’s rental home on the market and Robyn’s rented mansion new purchased by a new owner. If Robyn Brown has to move again, she’s probably facing one of her worse nightmares.

Especially if the new owners want her out right away and Coyote Pass is not ready for her to move into. That means house hunting again for another rental property for the youngest wife of this Sister Wives plural marriage.

With no known progress on the land they own and one rental home sold, with the other on the market, this sounds like a setback for their living situation. But if there’s no progress on the building of their new homes does Kody Brown have another plan in place?

Will Kody Brown Revisit a Utah Move?

The Sister Wives patriarch always wanted to move back to Utah. He talked about that last season. Did he set his sights on another move and is that why the family is still scattered all over Flagstaff? If it’s Utah he has in his sights this would be Robyn’s worst nightmare.

Both Robyn and Kody Brown remain mum online. Kody popped his head into social media around Father’s Day. Robyn’s posts stopped in March and she even shut down her online business from taking orders at the time. It still remains dormant and not accepting orders today.

The fourth wife of Kody Brown showed up in a photo at a parade this summer. The Sister Wives kids and Christine Brown sat with her on the curbside waiting for the event to begin. But after that nothing showed up online about Robyn Brown.

That photo started a buzz online that she possibly might be pregnant once again. Both Kody and Robyn stopped their posts for quite some time now on social media. So what’s Robyn’s fate in Flagstaff?

It looks like she’s got a lot on her plate if the house she lives in sold right out from under her. If Kody hasn’t got the new houses started yet, that means another temporary transition for the woman who’s the mom to Kody Brown’s youngest kids.

Hundreds of music’s biggest names came together in New York City’s prestigious Madison Square Garden arena tonight for the 2018 Grammy Awards, but let’s be real, here – you can’t exactly kick off the SIXTIETH Grammys NOR a list of the best moments in a mediocre fashion, so leave it to Kendrick freaking Lamar to get the people on their feet.

He opened the show tonight with a show-stopping performance that we just had to give mention to. Performing in what might’ve been one of the most powerful performances of the night, Kendrick rapped alongside U2’s Bono and The Edge, as well as comedian Dave Chapelle.

They stood in front of an American flag backdrop surrounded by an entire military of army-clad dancers while Kendrick went through multiple hits from his album DAMN and I’m not kidding when I say this performance seriously set the tone for the entire night.

Switching gears to an entirely different type of moment, but equally as important, in my opinion, Lorde, who was up for album of the year tonight, pulled a full-on Rihanna-circa the 2017 Grammys and was seen unapologetically holding a flask – but not just any flask: A flask that matched her ensemble.

So maybe she was celebrating her prestigious Grammy nom, but really though, it’s the Grammys – there’s really no further explanation needed. But what could be better than attending the Grammy Awards? Attending the Grammy Awards whilst playing with puppies. I kid you not, that was a thing that actually happened tonight. Grammy host James Corden announced that he’d be giving out “consolation puppies” for all the losers of tonight’s show. UM HI JAMES, I think I speak for all of the general public when I say that we’d much rather score ourselves an adorable puppy over a trophy that people only work their entire lives to win… ok, totally kidding. Kinda.

But, you guys, NO award show would be complete without a political punchline to ease the pain of all that’s happening around us… While presenting the award for best comedy album, The Daily Show’s Trevor Noah followed up Bruno Mars and Cardi B’s performance with a compliment that also acted as a major diss… Annnnd moving on to one of the night’s most noteworthy mentions, many artists once again took time to shed light on the Time’s Up movement, including Janelle Monae, who delivered a powerful speech just moments before introducing Kesha to the stage to sing her power ballad “Praying.”

She also went onto say that, “We are also daughters, wives, sisters, mothers and human beings. We come in peace, but we mean business. Kesha’s Powerful Performance Is The One The Grammys Needed

Kesha stole the show during Sunday night’s Grammy Awards. 

The singer-songwriter performed her emotional ballad “Praying” alongside fellow artists Cyndi Lauper, Camila Cabello, Bebe Rexha, Julia Michaels, Andra Day and others. The performance began with the lights dimmed and about two dozen women wearing white onstage and harmonizing: “Sometimes, I pray for you at night. Someday, maybe you’ll see the light.” 

The performance was emotional, powerful and cathartic, especially in light of the night’s Time’s Up theme that led many stars to wear white roses to support the anti-sexual harassment initiative. Kesha wrote “Praying” after a tumultuous legal battle with her former producer Lukasz “Dr. Luke” Gottwald, whom she accused of sexual assault and battery.

When the song finally ended, Kesha teared up and all of the women onstage embraced in an emotional hug.

A few minutes after performing, Kesha thanked the women who performed with her in a tweet.

Actress Janelle Monae introduced Kesha with a powerful statement. 

“Tonight I am proud to stand in solidarity as not just an artist, but a young woman with my fellow sisters in this room who make up the music industry,” Monae told the crowd. “Artists, writers, assistants, publicists, CEOs, producers, engineers, women from all sectors of the business. We are also daughters, wives, mothers, sisters and human beings. We come in peace, but we mean business. And to those who would dare try to silence us, we offer you two words: Time’s up.” 

Kesha explained in a tweet posted on Saturday just how much it meant to her that she was performing “Praying” at Sunday’s Grammys. 

“When I wrote praying, with Ben Abraham and Ryan Lewis, I just felt as if I had gotten a huge weight off of my shoulders,” she tweeted. “It felt like an emotional raw victory for myself, one step closer to healing. I never could have known what would’ve happened these past few years.”

 In a July 2017 essay for Lenny Letter, Kesha explained what the emotional and personal song was about. 

“This song is about coming to feel empathy for someone else even if they hurt you or scare you. It’s a song about learning to be proud of the person you are even during low moments when you feel alone,” she wrote. “It’s also about hoping everyone, even someone who hurt you, can heal.” 

The riveting performance was not lost on viewers. Many people tweeted how moved they were by the song and the beautiful performance.

Actress Janelle Monae delivered a powerful message on the GRAMMYs stage on Sunday night as she introduced Kesha’s poignant performance of Praying.

Addressing the Time’s Up and #MeToo movement, Monae, who was among the stars that wore a white rose to support women’s rights, called on the music industry to join the overdue tide of change.

“I am proud to stand in solidarity as not just an artist, but a young woman, with my fellow sisters in this room who make up the music industry—artists, writers, assistants, publicists, CEOs, producers, engineers, and women from all sectors of the business,” Monae said. “We are also daughters, wives, mothers, sisters, and human beings. We come in peace, but we mean business.”

She continued: “To those who would dare try and silence us, we offer you two words: Time’s up. We say time’s up for pay inequality, discrimination or harassment of any kind, and the abuse of power.

“It’s not just going on in Hollywood, or in Washington, it’s right here in our industry as well. And just as we have the power to shape culture, we also have the power to undo the culture that does not serve us well. So, let’s work together, women and men, as a united music industry committed to creating more safe work environments, equal pay, and access for all women.”

Her message was echoed by Kesha, who reduced the audience at Madison square Garden to tears with an emotional rendition of her song Praying alongside Cyndi Lauper, Camila Cabello, Andra Day, Bebe Rexha, Julia Michaels, and a huge choir.
