for a girl whose never built anything from scratch before i'd call this a triumph

#it's safe to say i won't be building ever again. this was painful.#4 houses and a little pub with 2 apartments upstairs #it is fully unfurnished but that is a task too immense for me to tackle right now #and the sides are very bare.. i'll fix that #so excited to play gahhh #i have until the 16th to finish all of my assignments but after that it'll be sims sims sims #do ye have any recommendations on anti-virus software?#i've been using mcafee but it's the most god awful program know to man #the only annoying pop-up ads i get are from mcafee itself #trying to get me to sign up for shit and buy better plans #would appreciate recommendations thank you 🙏

Frances: Like what? A dog swallowed its chew toy again? Or a horse has fallen and it can’t get up?

Icarus: Is that all I’m reduced to?

Frances: Oh god, no, I-

Icarus: I’m sorry. I could have worded that differently.

Frances: Don’t apologize to me. What I said was cruel. I’m really sorry, that was so out of pocket.

Icarus: … You’re sorry?

Frances: Very. As I’m sure you’re aware, I can be a bit much sometimes. I know I can be insensitive and I’m working on it… [ mumbles ] Yet here I am, doing it again. To you.

Icarus: Frances-

Frances: Don’t try to downplay it, I crossed a boundary this time and I am so sorry. I recognize you’re a person as well, with feelings.

Icarus: …

Frances: Icarus…? Please say something.

Icarus: I’m sorry, I’m a bit taken back.

Frances: I said something wrong, didn’t I?

Icarus: [ shakes head ] No! No, lately a genuine apology is difficult to come by.

Frances: Well... I just think you deserve better.

Winona: Sooo… What’s going on here?

Icarus: Winona!

Winona: [ snorts ] Wait til grandma hears about this.

Icarus: Please go away.

[ clears throat ] Anyways… The piece you played-

Frances: [ flustered ] Yeah total shit I know!

Icarus: Jesus Frances! I was gonna say let’s have you play it again so we can refine it.

Frances: TRUE! I have this idea… What if I added a little vibrato?

Icarus: What’s that?

Frances: OH MY GOD, we studied this!

Icarus: I told you! Musically inept!!

#ok so some notes i like the juxtaposition between the way frances apologizes and how violet apologizes #violet only apologizes when she's recognizes there's a possibility of losing him instead of just apologizing to reconcile their #situationship it purely is for her own benefit whereas frances is recognizing there are things she needs to work on herself #specifically how she deals with stress and how it is affecting the people around her such as #lashing out on kai being extra hover-y over dan at the pub and the tone she used when speaking to atlas #gah idk this was a fun scene to shoot this was the 38 pose scene (everything was done by me besides the shot with winona)#tessellate #sims 4 story #show us your story

Had a great time playing Sims today (spent 3 and a half hours searching for and downloading custom content and never once turned on the game)

#sims #the sims 2 #the sims #ts2 #this is just how it is now #not writing #sims 4 #I guess I’ll tag but sims 2 is the only sims that matters my man 😭#you will not catch me tagging 3 #sims 2 my beloved #I’ve been playing it for like 13 years now downloading cc is the only thing that still gives me meaning #I just wanted a round slightly worn wooden table that’s it 😭#I only found one (1) vaguely close item after 3 hours! and it was refusing to even download at first 😭#I had a list of 6 items to look for that at the top... I downloaded about 50 things... only got 2 of those items #like walking into the grocery store to buy one thing and then leaving with a whole shopping cart full #mostly got hair didn’t need any of it again just needed that table and some recolours of items plus a lamp and some plants but nooo #still didn’t really find a table recolour I liked just closest thing I just want worn wood recolours of things! 😭#I’m building a bar/kind of dingy pub but I don’t want it to look like abandoned for 100yrs after a massacre just want some wear and tear #yes it’s 2am ignore me #yeah I’m gamer™️

Julia: I don't know what I'm doing, but thanks for letting me join.

Kit: I, Golden Member, leader of the Order of Enchantment, will now tell you the tales of old, as written down by late Esther Mudget.

Silver Members: May the fairies of late Esther Mudget protect us.

floating head in cas mod!

i made a piece of cc that hides the body in cas for ease of making transparent head icons and other such edits. it doesn’t delete the body permanently, it just acts as an invisible bodysuit that can be removed when you’re done

found in the outfits category

teen to elder / both frames

doesn’t remove the feet so you can still access the body menu

⚠️ when you’re finished with it, click on the sims shoes/feet, you can then access the outfit category from there to remove it!
