My Headcanon FNaF Timeline

Mostly because I got tired with how Scott made the timeline convoluted, so here is my FNAF headcanon/timeline

But honestly for the best fan FNAF timeline I direct you to Hyperdroid's and Wendigoon's FNAF timeline video

The Afton family immigrated to America after escaping the London bombings

William was enamored with Fredbears Singing Show and it inspired him to create something similar

William and Henry met in college. They grow close over a shared love of robotics and decide to start up an entertainment business using robotics mascots.

One day William and Henry went to a ballet show and William meets the future Mrs Afton, Clara Schmidt. It was love at first sight.

1972: Fredbear's Family Diner Opened by Henry and William They attract large crowds, and the two animatronic mascots, Fredbear and Spring Bonnie, become incredibly popular with the children. William is Spring Bonnie and Henry is Fredbear

Henry and William also start families of their own, with Henry having one child, Charlotte (Charlie) and William having two, Michael, and later on, Elizabeth.

Henry adds another attraction to Fredbear's, a Security Puppet, built for the purpose of keeping children safe and to stop them wandering out the diner on their own.

William begins developing Funtime Animatronics. Afton Robotics is founded.

Freddy Fazbear's Pizza opens. Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy are introduced.

Clara is diagnosed with cancer.

Bite of 83 happens

With the loss of CC and Clara dying, William loses it.

William kills Charlie, events of Midnight Motorist happens. Golden Freddy lures Michael to Fredbear's. Clara who lost her hair to cancer is the one on the chair telling William to "leave Michael alone" and William makes him sorry aka Nightmare Animatronics

After seeing the Puppet, William discovers Remnant

1985: First Missing Children's Incident, William Afton nearly convicted. William sacked from CEO of Fazbear Entertainment.

William does what he does to save his wife and put Evan back together, at first. Then William slowly goes insane

Circus Baby's Pizza World opens

Elizabeth dies. Seeing Circus Baby's eyes turn green continues WIlliam's pursuit of remnant

An employee simply nicknamed the "Phone Guy" is hired and is promoted to a high-ranking position, acting as a supervisor to all other employees, providing training tapes for the proper use of springlock suits

1987: In order. William starves himself to become unrecognizable. William gets a job as a security guard under the alias "Dave Miller" at a Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. 2nd Missing Children's Incident. William flees from authorities and evades capture.

DCI happens. The Toy Animatronics are possessed, begin attacking nightguards

Bite of 87. Mangle bites Jeremy Fitzgerald's frontal lobe

Henry under the alias "Fritz Smith", gets a job as a security guard so he can free the souls of the animatronics.(Michael would be too young)

1993: In order. Michael returns from college with a degree in engineering. William gets removed as CEO of Afton Robotics and looses access to CBER, desperate for remnant, he goes to the Freddy's location to dismantle the animatronics and gain remnant. William gets Springlocked. Michael gets job as Security Guard at a Freddy's location under the alias "Mike Schmidt", in order to free the souls of the Missing Children. Phone Guy dies.

1995: Last Freddy Fazbear's Pizza closed.

1997: Michael gets job at CBER to free the souls of the Funtime Animatronics. It does not go over well for him. Michael gets scooped and Ennard escapes into the outside world.

1999: Ennard splits into Molten Freddy and Scrap Baby.

2017: Henry learns about William Afton's true motivations and actions. Henry discovers CBER, Afton's research facilities, Afton's Killbot Blueprints, etc. Henry Re-establishes Fazbear Ent.

2023: In order. Michael gets job at Fazbear's Fright. William is freed from being locked in a room for 30 years and Springtrap has arisen. Springtrap kills Phone Dude. Michael burns down Fazbear's Fright. Michael helps Charlie to set up Happiest Day. Happiest Day, the MCI and CC's souls are set free, but Cassidy remains

2023 Henry sets up a fake pizzeria to lure all the remaining animatronics to destroy them. Michael becomes the manager of the location. William, Elizabeth, the MCI and Charlie all return, Henry destroys all remaining animatronics. Henry and Michael die.

???:William Afton is in hell. Being haunted by the creations of his own making. Cassidy as Fredbear is the architect of William's hell and he dies. Again and again and again and again and again. Until. One day. William escapes and Cassidy is left twitching in agony and rage.

2030's/2040's?

"Indie Developer" releases several games based on the MCI incident. Fazbear Ent. sues him for defamation.

Development on the "Freddy Fazbear's Virtual Experience" begins.

Beta tester, Jeremy kills himself using a paper cutter.

Beta Tester "Tape Girl" beta-tests the VR game.

Vanessa A. beta-tests the VR game and her soul is merged with that of William Afton, who has escaped who knows how long years of torture at the hands of Cassidy.

The events of Dreadbear happens and Vanessa reveals Vanny's mask "I made it myself" William and Vanny's work begins

Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex is opened

Glitchtrap and Patient 46(Elizabeth, not Gregory) pull the strings to get Vanessa head of security at the Pizzaplex

Vanessa uploads the Glitchtrap virus in the Pizzaplex

the Glitched staffbots kill all the human staff

The Vanny and Afton use The Blob to help collect Remnant

Vanny uses the Glamrocks to dig through Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place remains to find William's body.

Vanny glitch's Monty to dismantle Glamrock Bonnie and uses Bonnie's remains to rebuild William's new body

The new MCI happens. 9 kids goes missing. Gregory is the only survivor and flees

Seeing Gregory activates Freddy's safety mode.

The events of Security Breach happens

William awakens in his new body and begins to hunt Gregory. The Blob turns on William while Freddy and Gregory flees the Freddy Fazbear's Pizzaplace

Plushtrap sketch dump (along with some stupid memes of him I've doodled)

Plushtrap is sent to the nightmares after losing his parents to two separate incidents, since then it's been three years and he's now 13 (and heavily traumatizedtm).

At this time point in the AU the nightmares are also 3 years older, 37, 35, 39, and 35 respectively, Spring Bonnie (who is then Springtrap) would be 38 and Fredbear (who is then Golden Freddy/Goldie) would be 39. The Freddles are then 8 years old as well. (Age gets so confusing omg so bare with me if I make a inconsistency, please tell me if you notice one that I'm stupid to)

Plushtrap is heavily aggressive, not because of his nature but because of trauma, he gets in fights regularly and constantly argues with Nightmare. Despite the help he's given by all around, nothing ever seems to calm down his aggressive responses even if he doesn't want to be aggressive himself. Plush will meet other kids at this time but will heavily push anyone away, Helpy does tries his best to befriend him.

His relationship with the nightmares varies from who it is.

Nightmare: Highly aggressive with, can't stand to be around and argues almost every time they speak.

Bellatrix: Adores greatly for the simple fact that Bellatrix's voice sounds similar to Spring's voice, although Bells is a mute, Plush asks time to time for Bells to tell him a story for comfort.

Cassiopeia: Terrified deeply of her, he's not quite sure why he's terrified of her but it's so much so that he will hide from her or if he's confronted by her, he'll people please until she leaves him alone. However, Cass is deeply heartbroken at the fact he's scared of her.

Felis: On a neutral standing with him, treats him with respect out of him being his uncle yet stays distant from Felis. Plush doesn't know why he can't speak to Felis.

That's so real- our fictives tend to influence that stuff for me too, like my danganronpa AU having influences from my Junko and Makoto (villain and hero of danganronpa) headmates, but I think Sophie (from The Walten Files which is what TWF is) is the only one who's rlly made an AU of her own.

In my swap AU, basically, the order and circumstances surrounding each death are switched, and the killer is... kind of different as well. My current thought process is that William murdered Sammy- he hadn't intended to kill him, but he more or less beat him until he died from a traumatic injury- but he didn't kill any of the other kids. Instead, Henry, desperate to bring his son back, killed all the missing children. Elizabeth was still killed by Baby, but this incident was caused by the well meaning but unaware older brother Cassidy (crying child) leaving her alone in just the wrong moment and panicking and protecting himself instead of her. He later gets springlocked in Spring Bonnie. Spring Bonnie and Fredbear were actually from a totally different sister location. Michael was kind of an. extra murder on top of everything else just to take everything away from William but idk who he'd possess. Puppet maybe? Its weird creepy design feels up his alley.

The band in this AU is fronted by Baby. Freddy is a more or less scrapped character barely used for shows if at all, and as such, Susie is stuck in the back most of the time. Chica, Bonnie and Foxy make up the rest of the band, and Gabriel takes over Chica where Jeremy is Foxy and Fritz is Bonnie.)

All of this.. disaster leaves Charlie alive, and Charlie was actually childhood friends with several of those kids, including Elizabeth. She has genuinely no idea what happened to all of her friends, and has carried that with her, hoping that one day she might be able to track down Elizabeth and figure out if she's actually still alive. Which she is not, and Baby, angry at Charlie for her father's actions, really.. rubs this in. On the other hand, Cassidy is being manipulated with his own fear into being on Henry's side.

This is one of my less developed AUs (my two main aus have a RIDICULOUS amount of lore) but here it is :D

charlie being alive, and seemingly taking a similar role to og mike is neat!! and cassidy being manipulated UGH i love casskdy crying child it feels very. underexplored?? i feel like i never see it. i love evan crying child and his bestie cassidy but you can pry lonely cassidy crying child who blames their dad for their death more than they do michael out of my cold dead hands

Crash Course in Springlocks

Summary: After learning of her brother’s plan to end their undead father with fire, Rebecca, an intellectual, decides to show Y/N why she brought a spray bottle of water with her to work today. It may come in handy for them in the future…

It had been a day, and Micheal was already plotting with Henry on how to annihilate William. They were planning to use fire, and burn him alive, which seemed really brutal and dangerous for the innocent people nearby. Rebecca was starting to wonder if they were losing their sense of humanity just trying to destroy her father… Was it even worth the trouble it’d cause? He probably wanted to die anyway…

Today, upon hearing the employee she befriended describe one of their nightmares and the events that inspired it, she decided to take matters into her own hands. If this person was really that interested in her father, then she would just teach them the quickest way to stop a springlock suit in case he got any other ideas.

Her coworker initially laughed at the item she presented.

“What, you want me to spray Dave like a misbehaving cat? Cuz I’ll do it—“

“Pfft— No, no. Follow me.”

The teen gestured to the door to the workshop in a similar manner to how Dave did, but wiggled her fingers a little for added effect.

The spare Spring Bonnie head was already on the table. Rebecca went over to crank it up.

“I wanted to show you this… Since Mikey won’t…” She began, placing the head back down when it started ticking, “You said you un-springlocked him right?”

“Yeah?”

“So his suit would be in the same mode as this head, minus the ticking… T-the ticking still scares me…” She held up the spray bottle, “That’s where this baby comes into play.”

“How exactly…?”

“The springlock training tapes should have mentioned it, but— Actually, just watch…” She approached the head, “Warning you now, this will be very loud—“

The teen aimed the bottle like a gun, and sprayed a jet of water right where the joints of the jaw were, dropping the bottle and covering her ears as the jaws snapped shut instantly. A loud clang echoed in the workshop and down the hall.

“D-damn, dude…” The adult stared in horror, “Just a little water did that?”

“Yeah…” The teen looked to the floor, “T-that’s how my other older brother died… He cried in Fredbear’s mouth, and his tears triggered the mechanism to snap closed on his skull…” She glanced at the empty head, “I-if you cried when he put that on you, you wouldn’t be here…”

“Shit… What Dave did that day really was dangerous…”

“Very…” Rebecca sighed, “That’s why I wanted to give you this bottle… If he ever tries anything else, you spray him in a joint area with this, and you can springlock him all over again.”

She then sprayed the center of the forehead with the bottle, “If you don’t target the joints though, it won’t seep into the springlocks and will be harmless…”

“What will shooting the joints with this even do besides hurt like hell for him?”

“It would make him unable to move for a few moments, giving you a chance to take the advantage or flee…” She handed the spray bottle over, “The first shot would be the most effective, but the next shots might stun him even after that. To use it to the same effect as the first time again, you’d have to uncrank him afterwards…”

“Ah…” The employee looked at their new weapon, “Thanks…”

“J-just don’t tell anyone I gave that to you, please… Say you learned it from the tapes and keep it hidden…” She shuffled nervously.

“Don’t worry, kid. I’m not a snitch.” They laughed, “But if this is the flaw of the suits… Does Dave know what this can do as well?”

“Uh, yeah, b-but don’t use it unless you really have to—“

“What on earth was that noise…?” Springtrap peeked in the doorway.

“Hey Dave, stick em up!”

The animatronic rabbit stiffened at the sight of the spray bottle, putting his hands out in front of him, “Where the hell did you—?!”

“The tapes said moisture makes the springlocks go off, and I thought it’d be funny to spritz you like a cat if you start being a dick.”

“That is absolutely not funny.”

“I-it sort of is… j-just a little bit…” Rebecca covered her mouth to suppress her laughter as the employee harmlessly sprayed his shell with the water.

“Bad Dave.”

FNAF Book 2: A Shadow’s Rise

CHAPTER 1: Out of the Abyss

“The soul is a living organism. And for any question as to the soul's Life we must appeal to Life-science. And what does the Life-science teach? That if I am to inherit Eternal Life, I must cultivate a correspondence with the Eternal.”

Michael P.O.V.:

I never thought I would become something to fear, but here I am, in the ruins of Fredbear Diner, standing as something dark, then again, I cannot remember ever feeling human after destroying Ennard. Although Elizabeth and Mom were still in Circus Baby and Ballora, I knew it was not how they used to be, but whatever remained, merged with the animatronics’ AI.

Despite William saying that I was nothing but a failure and worthless, I was anything but those two things. It took a while, but I had proved him wrong, I graduated college with two degrees, Engineering, and Human Anatomy. As I kept my ear to the ground for any news on Afton. Turns out, the bastard had been looking for me all this time, could not accept the fact that I got away from him or that I moved on with my life instead of riddled with guilt.

I may have come back but my body was still injured while my soul was stuck elsewhere, but replacing my stomach and ribs was easy. My only regret was that my family suffered worse than immediate death. William being the one to orchestrate their deaths was no real surprise, he hated my existence, long before my siblings’ deaths. So, making MY family suffer before killing them isn’t really a stretch.

The surprise came from knowing how my family died; my wife's soul was shattered in two and my son locked away, his mind broken by torture. I hear their screams in my sleep; coming back from the dead is painful but being powerless to save what truly mattered, can never be described.

Now I am alone, with nothing but a name, memories, and this mission. I hunt by night, for the corrupted souls of my brother, sister, and for the Mad Piper himself. Our last encounter was in upstate Utah, an abandoned warehouse was their dwelling, with an array of monitors and servers as one of his bodies.

William ran from me, leaving his followers paying their dues to the Reaper; I recall handing the corrupted souls to this mysterious being. I owe Spring Bonnie; it was all thanks to her that I could understand the riddles spoken by The Wall and negotiate with him.

The only catch was that I would be a form-shifting aberration, by day I walk among the rest as human and by night I hunt them as a biological Foxy animatronic wreathed in twisting shadows and cold, green-blue fire bleeding from my withered arm and eyes. I took to covering the arm in a black poncho, similar to

My prey tonight was a wretched man obsessed with keeping children from growing up. His base was an abandoned building marked for demolition, it reeked of copper, iron, and corpses. The insect was laughing as he continued sewing his recent kill, I faintly hear the sounds of crying and rattling chains from below. I decided that it was time to act, no more skulking around the dark. He had taken his last victim this night, there will not be anything left to show he existed beyond this madman’s lab.

“Andrew Spencer, it is time for you to pay for your sins, I am the one that was sent to collect.” I speak, hollow and cold, making him whirl around with eyes wide in panic and fear.

“WHO ARE YOU, MONSTER!” He demands, bloody scalpel raised in my direction as a threat.

“I see no reason to answer to a dead man, your pleas will be unheard as I tear your soul from your broken corpse.” I proclaim with heavy steps till I stand in the lab doorway.

I stare him down before passing through the entrance, tattered cloak flapping with my advance. I stop a bit away from him, silence all around us as I let my declaration sink in. He grasps the situation quickly as he throws the knife at my eyes. I caught it between my fingers and weighed it in my hand before grasping it gently. I hear the killer breathing silently in panic as he hugged the wall to my left, hoping that I had not heard him.

“Nice knife, too bad it’s too small. THINK FAST!” I yell, launching it faster than he could blink.

“ACCCK, IT HURTS!” He screams. “PLEASE, SPARE ME! I PROMISE I’LL NEVER DO IT AGAIN”

“You can lie to the courts, the police, the people, but you can’t lie to me.” I speak with zero doubt. “You first killed to feel powerful, then you continued to kill after you got away with the first.”

“No, it is not true, I saved those children. They will not grow up disillusioned by the world, feel pain from hardship. Now, they are free and will only know happiness.” He declared with pride like I should applaud his crimes.

I stare at this creature in human skin, astounded by what I just heard. Looking down at where the knife landed, four inches from his femoral artery, he would live. How hilarious, I missed, yet my job is to kill sinners like him; I believe in fair play, unlike those missing children, he will have a chance to fight for his life.

“I will give you a fighting chance, unlike you gave those children. Stand up, bandage your wound and we will fight to the death.” I toss him towards his worktable, breaking bottles of medicine with his impact.

I am gone from his sight, but he knows I am still in the room, watching him scramble for cleaning supplies and stitches. He has done in ten minutes; fear is a great motivator for anyone when it comes to life-or-death situations. I appear at the center of the room, and make my presence known.

“Are you ready, Andy? I am done waiting for you.” My voice makes him jump as he turns to me.

“Five more minutes, please?” He pleads to me.

“No, I am not waiting. RAAUGH!” I swipe before he can register my words.

THWACK

“BLEURGH!” He flies into the wall, cracking part of it as he meets the floor in a pile, coughing and bleeding from his side.

CRASH

I am on him in seconds as he pulls himself up to trade hits with me. It is quite ironic, seeing killers fight me to survive, only to watch as no matter what they do, I stand again with my body healing. With their victory all but ashes on shattered hope, their last moments before I force them to relive the deaths of their victims. I break every piece of them before taking their lives, I am not proud of what I have become, a killer of killers.

However, my father and his followers must be destroyed, no matter what. Scoffing, I am reminded of an old quote I read back in college. It fits perfectly in this moment, realization hitting me like a truck.

“The road to hell is paved with good intentions.” I thought to myself; it had said the same thing. “Whatever be your reason, can you truly say that you’ll remain as you are now in the end?”

The fighting has ceased, Andrew lay before me in a bleeding and broken heap as I place my palm on his head.

“Now you shall feel every second of pain you visited upon your victims and with each death, you will see your hubris for the lie that it always was.” My judgement washes over him, leaving him screaming and flailing around. “Farewell Andrew Spencer, agony and guilt will be the last you feel.”

“Die as you lived, alone and scared of the world.”

I walk towards the chained door in the corner, it takes no time to reach it. Breaking locks and tear off the door, a set of stairs leads down to an even dimmer lit room. I calmly troll down the steps, eyes looking everywhere for traps or accomplices hiding away.

CLACK

I still as a can clinks on the ground; the smell of antiseptic and old blood makes me gag. Shaking off the nausea, there is only one path, on my right, lining both sides of the room are cells; more chains rattle as whoever is being kept here moves away from the gates.

THUMP

I hear the sound of bodies bumping against wood as I shift back to my human form, turning the switch on the wall, brightening up the jail cells enough to see who else he is caught before tonight. Feeling more rage and murderous intent towards the Mad Doctor, I see the reason I never caught his scent. Before me are the shaking forms of 2 dozen kids looking at me, the key glistening in my hand like water in a desert to them.

I've had this idea for a FNAF sequel stewing in my brain for the past few months.

Imagine Fazbear Entertainment built an actual horror attraction, as opposed to a virtual one? But instead of simply reiterating FNAF lore, they make light of it, and make various references to it, in a stereotypical “mystery mansion” scenario using Fazbear Entertainment characters as possible suspects.

And not only do we get the Fazbear Band as various mystery character archetypes, but each one has an alternate “Monster Form” that allows them to transform into far more frightening appearances, just to up the scare factor.

Okay, so Spring Bonnie happens to be one of the characters in this attraction. His “monster form” is Springtrap, and he's the programmed antagonist in this attraction who “infects” other characters and turns them into monsters, too. Think of it as working like the werewolf curse. Which honestly begs the question… who infected Spring Bonnie?

Fredbear is also in this attraction, and his “monster form” is Golden Freddy.

There are versions of Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, Roxanne Wolf, and Montgomery Gator made specifically for this attraction. (Yes, there's Bonnie AND Spring Bonnie.) They all have monster forms that share similarities with both the Twisted animatronics, and the Nightmare animatronics. Collectively, this line is known as the Manor animatronics.

In this story, a young girl is being chased down by Vanny. She hides inside Fazbear Manor, a horror attraction, while it's still closed. She is discovered by the animatronics there, and she tells them an actual murderer is after them. The animatronics agree to protect the girl while they figure out what to do. They've never dealt with a real murderer before, and are not quite sure how to handle actual danger. One by one, Vanny infects each animatronic with Glitchtrap, including Manor Spring Bonnie/Monster Springtrap. The only one who does not get infected is Manor Bonnie/Monster Bonnie, who ends up being the girl's guardian.

Another idea I have is that Manor Spring Bonnie/Monster Springtrap (hereafter referred to as “Spring”) has the Funtime animatronics as his family. Ballora is his wife. Funtime Foxy, Circus Baby, and Funtime Freddy are his children. Bon Bon, despite having his own personality, is wirelessly linked to Spring Bonnie/Springtrap. This allows Spring to take control of Bon Bon whenever he wants, just like controlling a puppet. It also allows Spring to spy on people easily, and to communicate directly with Funtime Freddy. Funtime Freddy is Spring's favorite child, something that really upsets Circus Baby, who's all too eager to do anything to win her father's approval, even kill.

Spring's family also have various monster forms. Circus Baby's monster form is Scrap Baby. Funtime Freddy's monster form is Molten Freddy. Funtime Foxy and Ballora would have unique new designs as their monster forms; Ballora's would have nightmarish maternal themes, while Funtime Foxy's would make heavy-handed references to Michael Afton.

On that note, I should add that Manor Freddy, Manor Bonnie, Manor Chica, Manor Foxy, Manor Roxy, and Manor Monty are all Fredbear's family. Perhaps Manor Puppet should also be part of the cast. They could all be Manor Fredbear's children.

Anyway… by the end of the story, the human girl and Manor Bonnie/Monster Bonnie are the only survivors of Fazbear Manor, having set it on fire. In the epilogue after the credits, they run into Glamrock Freddy and Gregory while traveling the streets, and join forces! Making way for the next part…

As to what happens after that? More games where a human joins forces with an animatronic character until a team is formed, and they all join together to get rid of William Afton's reign of terror. Is it a cheesy idea? Yes, but I don't really care. I think it'd be funny and awesome.

Michael P.O.V.:

Now I am alone, with nothing but a name, memories, and my vendetta. I hunt by night, for the corrupted souls of my brother, sister, and for the Mad Piper himself. Our last encounter was in upstate Utah, an abandoned warehouse was their dwelling, with an array of monitors and servers as one of his bodies.

My prey tonight was a wretched man obsessed with keeping children from growing up. His base was the Diner, perfect since it was marked for demolition, it reeked of copper, iron, and corpses. The insect was laughing as he continued sewing his recent kill, I faintly hear the sounds of crying and rattling chains from below. I decided that it was time to act, no more skulking around the dark. He had taken his last victim this night, there will not be anything left to show he existed beyond this madman’s lab.

“Andrew Spencer, it is time for you to pay for your sins, I am the one that was sent to collect.” I speak, hollow and cold, making him whirl around with eyes wide in panic and fear.

“WHO ARE YOU, MONSTER!” He demands, bloody scalpel raised in my direction as a threat.

“I see no reason to answer to a dead man, your pleas will be unheard as I tear your soul from your broken corpse.” I proclaim with heavy steps till I stand in the lab doorway.

“Nice knife, too bad it’s too small. THINK FAST!” I yell, launching it faster than he could blink.

“ACCCK, IT HURTS!” He screams. “PLEASE, SPARE ME! I PROMISE I’LL NEVER DO IT AGAIN”

“Are you ready, Andy? I am done waiting for you.” My voice makes him jump as he turns to me.

“Five more minutes, please?” He pleads to me.

“No, I am not waiting. RAAUGH!” I swipe before he can register my words.

THWACK

“BLEURGH!” He flies into the wall, cracking part of it as he meets the floor in a pile, coughing and bleeding from his side.

CRASH

“The road to hell is paved with good intentions.” I thought to myself; it had said the same thing. “Whatever be your reason, can you truly say that you’ll remain as you are now in the end?”

The fighting has ceased, Andrew lay before me in a bleeding and broken heap as I place my palm on his head.

“Die as you lived, alone and scared of the world.”

I have FINALLY made a good image showing off all my Canon-To-My-SB/R-Timeline Idiots (there are others but they occur after the Pizzaplex gets levelled) so shout out to the Animatronics and Mostly-Humans that my AU houses!

Left to right by head position is Sun, Vanessa Masters, Vanny, Bonnie, Ennard, Chica, DJ Music Man, Balloon Boy, Vincent Volkov, Marionette, Monty, Elizabeth "Liz" Afton Schmidt, Eclipse, Circus Baby, Michael Afton Schmidt, Roxy, Cupcake Fredbear, Cassie Stevens, Moon, Golden "Goldie" Fredbear, Freddy Fazbear, Ballora, "Springtrap" Spring Bonnie, Gregory Fazbear, and Captain Foxy.

Cassie and Gregory in this are about 16-17, several years after the events of SBR. Cassie is thinking of going into robotics in college while Gregory is thinking of going into business. Cassie's Dad still works for the Animatronics, and Freddy adopted Gregory after the events of Security Breach/Ruin in my AU.

Sun expresses that all of the Animatronics are "Furries" because they have animal ears, no exceptions. Think about it for a minute.

Additional Bonus!

Idiot-less background! I took the intro cutscene of Security Breach, clapped out most of the colours, and then added in additional fog and colours to enhance it. It's not quite the screenshot anymore, but I think it's a pretty solid background that doesn't have to be obviously FNAF'd, lol.

I need to draw more of the idiots too, like I'm missing JJ, Deedee, Lolbit*, Bonbon, Bonnet, Minirena, Biddybab*, Electrobab*, Orville, Happy Frog*, Xor, Delilah Afton* (Liz and Michael's mom), and a few other additional Fazbear-Family Animatronics, and then I have three more Fangame-crews that are canon to my AU as well. Anyone with a * after their name has a finalized design, but I just don't have the full body reference to match these lot.

What Fangames are canon to my AU? Five Nights at Candy's, Popgoes, and Those Nights at Rachel's. Why? Because I like the groups. Also... There are other Animatronics too - and three of them have been here before!

Although I'm reworking Katlynn (Cat-Lynn), Discord, and Wendy's group presently and may add to some of their costumes when I make their full refs to match too. In my AU, Candy and Cindy know of Katlynn (being all cat-based), Marionette knows of Discord (and met her once in passing, but never got to say hi), and Ballora has heard of another "ballerina-type" Animatronic, although has never met nor seen anything for Wendy. These lot belong to a group (similar to Orville's group) that are off-brand Fazbear Entertainment Animatronics not run by Freddy, but still get to join the main crew.

Either way, that's enough of me screaming into the void about my FNAF AU, it's basically a FNAF-based OC world with only a small fraction of the actual FNAF Lore applying to it... and yes Remnant is canon. I am finding a way to explain it. I think. That may be more than what we get from actual FNAF lore, lol.

Since I’m gonna do a major revamp to FNAF MUSOPHOBIA, I’m gonna share the original versions of this AU since it changed a lot over time. This post is covering the second version of this AU, made around summer of 2023 and where Musophobia first got its name from. This version of the AU had small changes but I’m only featuring the major story changes made. I will also be marking previous Musophobia post under the tag #oldmusophobia

The start of the business

The first location is opened under the Fredbears (or fredcats, since this AU changed the species of Fredbear and Springbonnie to a cat and a rat hence why the AU was called Musophobia) branding inside a mall, but a few years later a sinkhole caused most of the building to be buried under dirt. William Afton and Henry Emily (the owners) decided to rebrand the business to Freddy’s.

Afton deaths

Abby in this AU sacrifices herself to her father to try and prevent any other murders (I don’t remember how she found out or how she would think her sacrifice would end things but whatever) and takes the form of shadow Bonnie (baby isn’t possessed in this AU) Mrs. Afton, aka Goldy, is murdered by William and possesses Golden Freddy. Carlton’s death wasn’t really thought of much while making this AU but just assume it’s kinda similar to canon, neither was Michaels since his death was farther into story and I wasn’t really thinking about it when I was still interested. William was able to go underneath the mall and enter the original Fredbears location, one day he got stuck and stayed their for a long time. He ended up killing himself on purpose so he could possess the spring Bonnie suit and live forever.

Mimic cult

William ends up making a tape called the mimic (the mimic is not an actual animatronic in this AU) that have hypnotizing visuals that mind control the viewer. The first victim was Steve Raglan, a inspector that was lured into the mall security office and ended up seeing the tape and now works as a job counselor so he could indict more people into the mimic cult. The second member was Reagan who got ahold of a bunch of old Fazbear Ent. tech and got mimic’d, she ended up going under the name Vanny and gained the bunny suit. The third victim was Jeremy who (after the bite) lost all of his memories of Fazbear Ent. and worked for them to get answers, he got too close to the truth and ended up slicing his face off. The last member was Vanessa, she was able to be saved but still thought I’d mention her.

The “books”

The story of Musophobia was separated into three parts kinda reflecting the original novel trilogy. The “silver eyes” was like if the movies and Silver Eyes stories were fused together. The other two were kinda blurry, they didn’t get much thought of for them. Charlie kinda went through the same character arch as in the twisted ones but other than that nothing much happened with those two parts.

Original characters

The glamrocks and funtimes were basically fused together in my AU since if I had both groups separate it would be overly complicated. The main band were the Cybergoths which consisted of Tiger rock, Eleanor, Roxy, and Monty. They also had twisted forms though they didn’t do anything

I also fused baby and ballora with sun and moon and they named Kidcore baby and Kidcore Sweetheart (they were separate characters)

The puppet and ennard were fused together. Abby was able to manipulate the Cybergoths into destroying themselves and fusing eachother into one body which had a similar appearance to the puppet.

Thats mostly it, I’ll update the post if I remember anything new about this version. Just a warning, the next two posts will be a lot shorter and messier due to the fact that those other versions didn’t have a lot thought about their stories

Everyone else is the same mostly, don't really change the roles besides the fact that instead of CC (Greg in og) getting possessed by my mimic/glitch trap, it's mike (for GGYthing. Name would be MCL.) And William is still evil. He just follows a similar role to Vanny in sb but isn't a reluctant follower. He welcomes vanni as a parasite. He also is still partners with henry (business) but now they just own fredbears megaplex. Henry is basically the same. Charlie and Mike are close in age and Sammy is here too. And Jeremey. Bc gays. everyones a bit older here so like 16-17. They all work (illegitimately) at the plex as security guards on weekends and afterschool. Cheaper to pay and it keeps them out of trouble (looking at mike specifically). Vanessa is a corpse bc uhh… michael counterpart. She still works at the company as a repairman, but is not seen till later. all 5 missing kids (susie, gabriel, ect) are here as well, and they do indeed end up missing (more on that later)

Now animatronics.

Goes up to the toys bc i like them best. So the mini music men are the main toys, with mangle as the actual music man. There's only 3 mini’s obviously lmao. Toy Freddy, Toy Bonnie, Toy Chica. But they are very fast and perform with mangle in the arcade. Puppet is a map bot but also sun and moon?. she floats from the celling like moon does with his cord but thats where the similarities end. She gives guests glowing green wristbands that serve as the fazwatch in this universe. its for parents to keep track of their kid, using an app?? But here it is used to track kids to isolate them from each other, and make them go “missing”. Like circus baby if ykwim. Speaking of which, circus baby. I like her. So she's here as well. Remember peepaw afton. Yeah well that's circus baby now. Used to get vanni (parasite little bitch) what she needs to survive, a body of her own.

And uh funny story. Elizabeth finds out that her dad is possessed by a parasite from the 80’s and her brother is controlled by something similar, so William takes action ig. But wait. I'm not letting her go just yet. Afterall, Evan and Cassidy need a buddy to travel with as well, right? Their 2 extra friends aren't quite enough… So more on that later for spoiler reasons. also no mimic bc i dont even want to delve into that can of worms... closest u get is circus baby. be happy its JUST circus baby lmao

Ok main animatronics. Roxy, Glam Freddy, Spring Bonnie, and Golden Freddy. All the glamrocks are present in the 1980's original diner, but Ness got a bit angry and uhhh... oops Vanni made her kill people haha. so they are. gone. for now. Roxy and Freddy are completely robotic and have no sentience. Not in the traditional sense anyway. But… Spring Bonnie and Golden Freddy are. Got all that fun AI jazz. They don't match up with any of the glamrocks in particular? Just kind of their own character. So obviously spring bonnie gets the glitch thing from MCL William and is trying to kill Cassidy and Evan. Same with mangle and the toys. But GoldF is like glamrock freddy, AS A ROLE. completely diff personality. So he helps the kids. And that's when stuff really goes down.

okay lets start with the emily’s becuase. because i can. Henry and William are partners in owning the plex and henry is known as the more approachable head of the company. he tends to walk around the plex and interact with all the kids and stuff. when shit heats up, he plays the role of trying to calm will down and figure out what’s controlling him in the first place. he tries to recode the animatronics (minus golden freddy) but it doesn’t… really work. fun stuff happens with him later >:)

now charlie. so charlie works as a security guard with mike, jeremy, and sammy on weekends to make a bit of extra cash. when mike and will get controlled (willingly or not) but Vanni, she takes the role of Cassie (sorta) and does her best to free mike. she’s the one who finds the foxy mask that lets her see wet floor bots. by deactivating the bots, she slowly weakens Vanni’s power over the other animatronics. she investigates what’s happening in the plex and protects the kids.

sammy plays a super crucial role to this au. he acts as tony in this au, and we all know what happens to tony in ggy… so uh not gonna say much about that til later but he is the MAIN investigator with charlie and has a fun encounter with mike eventually.

not an afton or a emily but jeremy is just tape girl in this. he records messages while he is hiding from william and mike because Vanni has deemed him a good host, even better than william or micheal. So he’s just hiding around and recording messages before he gets captured as a way to keep Vanni out of his head.

elizabeth is kind of still in the works story wise. she cant find her dad when he gets ‘captured’ by Vanni and then goes looking for him, and ends up in a room that she really shouldn’t be in. the scooping room. baby is there and takes the now organless elizabeth and stuffs her inside to be harvested for remnant. so… bye bye elizabeth. (ask from @hearts4ggy)

mike is definitely uncomfy with having his body be controlled by a weird ass rabbit parasite dickhead thing, but william is very good at manipulating him so he just stays quiet. not 100% sure yet how he gets all caught up in the vanni stuff but my working idea is that vanni needs somebody else besides william to do its dirty work so they choose micheal bc he’s perfect for the job. checks off all the boxes. hates his brother (meh) related to william, and very easily manipulated. william used circus baby to insert part of vanni into him (with like a microchip or smth) and that’s that. micheal initially isn’t reluctant becuase his dad finally wants him for something (ouch) and he’ll do anything to make him proud, but after the Sammy Incident (tm) hes very reluctant. hes pretty aware and vanni lets him take control of his own body when interacting with the kiddos.

mmm i think evan would notice mike was off but would stay quiet because hes got his hands full with cassie and gregory. Elizabeth is a similar situation to micheal where her dad calls her into the scooping room and she follows because again, william finally wants her “help” with something. she’s used for information about what’s going on with evan and cassidy but when she says she doesn’t know vanni gets pissed and kills her so that she can be used for remnant to keep vanni active in both micheal and william. if anyone was to notice something weird about micheal, it sammy, then charlie. and ofc jeremy knows becuase that’s who micheal is mainly after until vanni can locate the kids.

henry has a lot of shit going on in this au but honestly, he just hides. he finds sammy and sees micheal kill him but does nothing to really help at first. he watches micheal drag sammy away and then the kids and charlie find him. he can’t bear to tell charlie what he saw so he just runs away into one of the remote security offices, which is the same one vanessa was in. vanessa tells him everything since she’s been watching the whole time from cameras but she herself isn’t strong enough to fight back, so henry takes that role from her. using the bracelet sammy was wearing (it has his name engraved on it but its a special puppet bracelet) she tracks him and tells him where to go to get the anamtronics (who are attacking the kids) under control. This is kinda foreshadowing for the scooping incident i mentioned previously. but until that happens i would imagine vanessa being unable to deal with the lack of closure between her and gregory. he would show up in her dreams often, usally berating her over the bite. his death was caused by only her, no interference from vanny. and while cassie was killed out of desperation (more on that later) gregory was killed completely out of overreaction. vanessa had no idea that shoving him inside the mouth of the glamrock freddy animatronic would kill him, and yet her actions caused the death of someone she cared about. maybe the only person she ever truly cared about.

Thoughts and theories on security breach.

• I know this is a big step for fnaf as a whole, not being stationary in one place and being able to roam around for a change. While i wouldn't call it my favorite fnaf game, i will cut it some Slack since they were trying to branch out from the normal fnaf formula.

• Would've been cool if you Could free the other glamrocks from the glitchtrap virus for a brief time, then they succumb to the virus again, and then needing to decommission them. we would get to see more of they're true personalities.

• speaking of personalities the only character i thought needed more personality was Montgomery, to me he just appeared as just a generic Brute character while the others had more personality in my opinion.

• During the path to the true ending, i don't believe that G.Freddy is referring to the blob but rather the other glamrocks that are under Aftons control. Saying that his friends are here, angry and confused. Which Chica , monty and roxy are.

• This goes into my other theory/ opinion that Micheal afton is NOT possessing Glamrock freddy, nor is glamrock freddy being possessed At all. But rather the glamrocks have a self adapting A.I, making them more sentient. freddy mentioning that he found himself for the first time , as well as not having a choice back then makes more sense.

• Despite what people have been saying , i believe that the true ending of the game is implying that the glitchtrap virus is no more. Burntrap being glitchtrap and william afton combined, due to Burntraps ability to corrupt Glamrock freddy. Not to mention the blob basically preventing Burntrap from leaving the crumbling and burning ruins. To attempt once and for all to try and Destroy Any reincarnation of afton. And despite not seeing vanny , i believe the virus was also lifted from her. ( currently don't think the Fire ending that there are possibly two Vanessa's is even canon or hinting that there will be a follow up game where vanny is once again the antagonist , it all depends if we get Dlc that goes into more depth , that and the Tales from the pizzaplex books that are coming out in 2022)

•What exactly happened to glamrock bonnie? we know from certain logs that he was seen roaming around the facility, then decommissioned and replaced with monty. But the game leaves us with no reason as to why or what Glamrock bonnie looked like. only that him and glamrock freddy were very close. We may also get info one glamrock bonnie via the Tales from the pizzaplex or DLC.

• The way the Blob Hangs afton feels like a Strong nod to the death of Spring bonnie, from into the pit.

• Speaking of the blob, I believe that the blob Doesn't contain the multiple souls of each Animatronic throughout the games , but rather the soul/souls of one Vengeful Animatronic, the one that caused the bite, the one that has been Present during the first game despite us being unaware of how much they would tie into the story, That's right , Golden freddy aka Fredbear, Filled to the brim with Shadowy remnant from its anger towards afton. becoming animalistic over time, Remaining while the other souls were set free.

•If this is true then it Confirms that UCN wasn't just William in purgatory but rather did take place inside the actual fnaf 6 location. as we see animatronics like molten freddy , baby , Mangle, The puppet, fnaf 1 Bonnie and chica, also present in the blob all of which are present in UCN.

• For now All the endings other than the true ending to me are not canon, similar to the secret ending in sister location and various endings from pizzeria simulator. Meaning that the Unmasked ending bares no relevance to the story. And the CDs found that refers to vanny as " they" is referring to her split personality Caused by the glitchtrap virus.

I really love your AU and there's one thing I'm really curious about

Are there different versions of the characters personalities? Like is the Freddy we see in To Fix What's Broken remember being Fredbear or would Fredbear be completely separate from him?

The same question could also be applied to Bonnie, was he Spring Bonnie?

If they are the same I think it would be really cute to go back in time and see Freddy and Bonnie meet for the first time

In More Than Just the Sum of Their Parts Bonnie mentions he used to be baby blue meaning he used to be Toy Bonnie, which means he couldn't have been Withered Bonnie so without a personality programmed into them, were the withers still active when the events of FNAF 2 happened?

So like full disclosure, I do not know everything about the timelines and the orders and all that good shit, so some stuff might be off or changed to fit my little AU, but I do try to keep it similar because it's way more fun to take the original and tweak it slightly =3

I am writing up a story that will dive into what all is in their backgrounds, but basically, the Freddy and Bonnie in my little AU were never the springluck animatronics. They were the ones made after those two. The way I'm kinda rolling with it is that the springluck animatronics didn't have an AI personality like the ones after them did. They were just machines that moved and played music. The whole personality and independent thought thing came after when the main four were created a the sister location.

The AI was then transferred to the new, shiny toy animatronics, so no, the faceless Bonnie animatronic did not have Bonnie's personality in it, but keep in mind in my AU, the whole "animatronic can't function without a personality" thing is a brand new security measure Bonnie installed after the shit in SB. As far as the discarded animatronic bodies you see in FNAF 2, they were empty, yes, but still had the capability to be turned on and to function, ya know, the best they could lol

I'm still working out the fine details, but those details will be explained when their backstory is laid out =) Also yes, I absolutely think it would be adorable to see those two meeting for the first time, so cute and new and clueless, sweet things

Fnaf 3

Formally known as Spring Bonnie, Springtrap is the fusion of what is left of the decommissioned springlock suit and the barly alive corpse of the one and only William Afton

William was desperate for a way to escape from the spirits of the missing children and the only suit left by then was the Spring Bonnie suit in the saferoom.

But due to the rain leaking inside the room, once he put on the suit the springlocks basically glued the two together from then on

After years of being trapped in the saferoom, the folks in charge of the soon to be opened Fazbear themed horror attraction found Springtrap in that same saferoom while looking around for spare animatronics suits, merch, or other official stuff they could use for the attraction

At this point there is still some of Spring Bonnie’s Ai still active so there’s always two vessels trying to control the suit overall

So the reason why Springtrap moves towards the Balloon Boy audio is because the springlock suits are designed to walk towards areas where they hear sounds

William chose to bring back some old “friends” as phantoms to freak out the guard and just because he has nothing better to do

Springtrap was actually the one who caused the fire that eventually burned Fazbear’s fright.

Ultimate Custom Night

Once Springtrap learned that he and all the other animatronics are here to kill a human version of himself it didn’t bother him as much as Scraptrap

Springtrap finds plushtrap amusing, Thinking that’s its funny how this simple piece of fredbear family’s diner merch basically predicted Spring Bonnie’s future in a way.

Sometimes Fredbear and Golden Freddy talk to Springtrap cause they know that their best friend is still in there and just want to see them again.

Being a part of the vent system animatronic gang Springtrap usually gets along with Ennard the most since they have a sort of family bond due to Circus Baby is the main one controlling Ennard.

Sometimes when Springtrap sees Rockstar Bonnie with his guitar he kinds of feels sad because it gives Spring Bonnie memories of the time where back at Fredbear’s he would perform with his banjo.

Fnaf Vr

At this point there’s no point for Fazbear entertainment to hide the fact that yes there was serial killer inside this animatronic.

So to make themselvess look clean in the eyes of the public the company decided to put him into the new vr game to show that they have nothing else to hide and that Fazbear entertainment isn’t the shady company that you once knew.

As for how Springtrap himself acts in this game he pretty much is similar to his Fnaf 3 counterpart except that the William part of him is less alive.

As the company wouldn’t want to make it seems that his inclusion is to just to make some quick bucks as it would attract more controversy or make light of someone as horrible as a child serial killer

Similar to Vr the animatronics in special delivery are just the regular animatronics’s coding and models being ported

Thus allowing a huge quantity of them to be available for millions to use through the special delivery app

This also explains why some of springtrap’s voice lines are actually from other animatronics in UCN

This version of springtrap is much more more arrogant and is way more of a complete show off than any other version of springtrap or even regular William

IT’S HIM, THE STINKY BASTARD MAN. he’s meant to look like michael because, y’know, sister location. for reference, here’s my mikey boi! there are some differences here and there, though (i.e. deathly pale, darker hair, sliiightly different haircut, green eyes, bigger nose, etc. also before / when he first opens fredbear’s he’s a LOT chubbier but he uh…loses a lot of weight after certain events. we’ll get into that tho!).

LET’S GET INTO TIMELINE AND PLOT…

SO what’s really important to me here is the stuff just before and after fredbear’s/freddy’s and the afton family, mainly because i haven’t thought up much stuff before then (though i really should - i don’t really even have a solid character in mind for his wife at the moment).

anyhow, william’s family consists of himself, mrs. afton, michael, and elizabeth. william is FAR from the best father, and certain incidents where he lashed out at his own children (particularly michael) led his wife to threaten to leave him at certain points. but william is nothing if not a good manipulator and convincing pathological liar, and he convinced her to stay for a good while before she ultimately did gather the courage to leave. she pleaded for michael and elizabeth to come with her, but elizabeth - desperate for her father’s attention, and always unharmed, unlike michael - chose to stay instead. and being the protective brother he was, michael chose to stick with his sister, despite wishing he could do otherwise. once the divorce was finalized, though, she got custody of them every so often - weekly, which left william feeling…conflicted. that being said, this situation takes place over the course of time, in tandem with the fredbear’s/freddy’s stuff.

at some point in this part of his life, he met henry - a small-time inventor who was incredibly talented, but toiled his days away on miscellaneous small projects, either toys for his children or crafts he could sell for a small fortune (which, sometimes, were toys that his kids had rejected). william, by now, was a bit of an entrepreneur who was looking for a new project - and although it wasn’t obvious at this point, he’d struck gold. over time, their friendship grew, with william wrapping his new acquaintance around his little finger (both intentionally and unintentionally, due to him genuinely growing attached - over time, he grew to admire henry in all sorts of ways). and in the end, some time after learning of his buddy’s talents…he decided it was time for a brilliant idea.

they were both struggling a bit financially, but if they sunk all of their savings into this idea, he was certain it would pay off. “fredbear’s family diner” (although it wasn’t titled at the time, merely a concept) - a family-friendly diner, featuring costumed mascots, like a dinner theater. when henry nervously said that there was no way they could support the salary of costumed workers, william eagerly suggested that they could play the roles, to which henry protested again - they didn’t have the time, especially not if they would be managing the business! eventually they settled on a compromise. henry would be designing a suit that could double as a costume AND an animatronic, like the robotic toys he developed for his children…a springlock suit.

it took ages, with henry tinkering until he developed the first springlock, then a prototype suit, then designs of characters until he and william could both agree, then suits of fredbear and spring bonnie. the two characters who would lead the restaurant. by now, henry was thrilled by this idea and the delight it would bring to not only his kids (who were already excited by the characters he’d been creating) but the kids around their town, and william was simply in it for the money right now (and ultimately, nefarious purposes). still, the two of them smiled on their (henry’s) work at the end of the day, and eagerly started work on the restaurant.

another long while passed, and the financial struggles that its construction caused stirred serious turmoil in the afton family that william had to fan down. henry had similar troubles, but finally, the diner was COMPLETE. the stage was set! his two springlock suits were brought in and placed, and the diner opened the next day. they had a rough time getting word about the diner out, but once it did, it spread like wildfire. it was New to everyone around, especially because of the way the mascots could “change” their styles of dancing. they could even sing! people were impressed, and it was a good thing too, because they really needed that cash.

time passed, and the diner’s popularity grew, and william was pretty happy with how things turned out…for the most part. by now, his familial troubles were getting really rough - things were settling down now, but he wasn’t a better person at home whatsoever. his wife was getting ready to leave (for real) and That was tearing him apart on the inside, despite what success he had from fredbear’s, which was all he seemed to care about now anyway (aside from his relationship with henry). when she finally did leave, he started to snap for the first time and started to lash out at everyone, especially henry. it was the first time the two of them had ever had a real argument, since william had endeavored to keep himself on his “best behavior” because he didn’t want to lose him - and yet here he was, projecting his feelings for why his wife left him onto his best friend, and yelling at him for his unfounded fear that he would leave him too.

the next day, william outwardly gathered himself for henry’s sake and apologized, then explained the situation at home (but twisted the story so that it favored him - it wasn’t his fault she was leaving him, she was the one who manipulated and abused him, etc). and upon hearing all that, being the empathetic soul he is, henry was ofc like “oh worm im so sorry????” and wound up trying to COMFORT him bc he’s baby. and once again, william had him wrapped around his little finger.

now, when his divorce was finalized and his custody of the kids got kinda fucked, and his wife got her first week with them, he snapped yet again. only this time, it was MUCH, MUCH worse. yet again, his meltdown involved henry (or rather, his family), and it was meant to be a cathartic moment - if my family can’t be happy, if i can’t be happy, neither can he. so when one of his henry’s twins wound up locked outside of the diner, he smiled at her - a familiar face for her, as henry’s best friend, and comforted her for a moment…just before stabbing her. and as she bled out on the pavement, he felt no remorse or sadness…in fact, his only concern was that henry might be nearby, since one of his damn kids was. so he haphazardly dragged her toward the back, near the dumpster, barely concealing her under some trashbags, and smiled as he loomed over her pathetically covered corpse. henry would be just as miserable as him now.

william changed into his “professional” outfit in the car, then scrubbed his hands clean in the bathroom the first chance he got, despite wearing gloves at the time of the murder. not even a few hours into the work day, he was being pestered by henry about the whereabouts of his daughter - he didn’t even know a parent could be so paranoid. master manipulator that he was, he assured his friend that she must’ve been around somewhere, probably playing with sammy or one of the other kids, or heck, maybe even playing hide-and-seek. kids are unpredictable! that seemed to ease his worries just enough for the time being, but in the meantime, he just chuckled to himself, knowing what a fool the man was and what panic and misery would ensue the second he knew what fate his daughter had met.

as anticipated, over the next few days, henry’s misery drastically intensified - she went from “missing” to “found” in what felt like a matter of moments, and all the while, william was his only pillar of support. and he was loving every second of it. being able to comfort him on his darkest days, hearing the weak “thank you”s every time he listened to the pitiful man’s venting, the long and anguished hugs. of course, it wasn’t because he was being a friend to him (although part of him did yearn for a closer relationship with henry like this) - it was because he was towering over him in a position of power, because now he was the one “on top.” henry was the one suffering now, moreso than him, and he would never be able to recover. in fact, william was doing better than ever - killing charlie seemed to instill him with more confidence than ever, and he LIKED that feeling.

henry became more and more disheveled, showing up to work in stained flannel and mussed up hair, bags under his red eyes because he’d been crying all night. this pattern continued for a long time, but the crying eventually stopped, though his sorrow was replaced by a deeply-seeded paranoia regarding his own diner. he feared the place, and feared his kids ever visiting it, despite him practically opening it up for them. and yet…none of his suspicions were placed on william. not the one person who’d comforted him in his darkest days, no. not his best friend. that man would never betray him.

eventually (after a bit of an expansion, thanks to some convincing on will’s part - new characters would make the place brand new, make him forget), the diner claimed another victim, and it wasn’t even by william’s own hand, much to his own surprise. another one of henry’s kids, funnily enough (from will’s perspective). he had to witness the man’s grieving process all over again, and support him all over again, all the while trying not to smirk as he towered atop him - when henry suffered, he felt higher than ever before, even though he loved the man to death.

with this death, however, henry officially decided that it was high time that the diner closed down. he couldn’t bear another death on his hands - not another child of his, especially. he’d grieved enough, and he only had one left. even so, william wouldn’t give up. he convinced henry to create another restaurant, finally, but henry refused to make the animatronics himself…he didn’t trust himself anymore.

and so marked the first time that william invented animatronics of his own, with henry’s help. and once again, his ego soared, as he took to the inventing game rather rapidly - even henry remarked that he was impressed. his models were plastic, unlike henry’s fuzzy and soft ones, and he insisted that they would be more “kid-friendly” and fitted with safer technology to keep him happy. so, the 1987 restaurant was opened, and the toy models took over while the withered animatronics rotted in the back room.

in the meantime, william got to Killin for realsies. charlie was like…a warm up, but this was the real deal. he got sloppy, though, not realizing that his own tech would recognize Him as a criminal if he killed in front of them. in fact, it shouldn’t have been technologically possible. one of his creations - the toy version of foxy, and what would ultimately be the prototype of funtime foxy (mangle) - even recorded audio of him in the act. so, to keep them all in order, he tampered with their facial recognition software. then, he dismantled the mangle beyond repair, then passed it off to everyone around him as something the children did.

although william didn’t have much of a real motive for killing this time around, his interest was piqued when he overheard henry’s oldest son - an employee of the establishment - discussing issues with the current night guard, and how he complained about the animatronic’s behavior during the night. it might not mean much to anyone else, but the way they acted made it seem like they were aware. sentient, perhaps. and their behavior over the ensuing weeks made that possibility feel more and more likely - they stared at staff almost maliciously, and adults in general, but behaved normally around kids. and that caused him to wonder if there was any chance whether the spirits of the kids themselves could’ve tethered themselves and possessed the things.

regardless, when henry realized that more kids were going missing in this restaurant, he started to lose it again. he couldn’t keep it together anymore - and eventually, he managed to figure out just who was behind it all. and although william did his best to keep it together, and sway him otherwise, and smooth-talk him out of it, henry continued to push and push until he snapped and called him out for the liar and the monster that he was. with that, henry truly DID leave him - in fact, he’d left a suicide note, but he just disappeared. no body was ever found.

but despite everything, all the misery william put him through, all the intentional torture, william found himself absolutely devastated by that loss. and for once, he seemed to be genuinely saddened by it; instead of lashing out at others, as he was wont to do, he seemed to lash out at himself. he was a pretty rotund lad back in the day of fredbear’s and the 1987 freddy’s restaurant, but he grew incredibly, deathly thin in the months after henry left. a few new scars had gathered on his wrists by the end of the year. he grew more unkempt, just as henry had just after his losses.

but in time…he recovered. he grew to turn his sorrow and saudade into unbridled hatred. he didn’t need henry, he NEVER did. and to prove it, he made his own franchise and his own robotics company in 1990 - “circus baby’s pizza” and “afton robotics, llc.”, respectively. when his daughter’s interest was piqued after seeing him work on circus baby for the first time, he even encouraged her by telling her that circus baby was being made for her. that wasn’t the case, obviously, but it made her giddy and it would ultimately make her excited enough to possibly spread the word about the upcoming restaurant to her little friends.

finally, circus baby’s restaurant was open to the public - and unbeknownst to them, it was essentially a haven for child murder, just as william had planned for it to be. each of the animatronics had their own mechanisms for luring children away and for ensnaring them, and essentially all he had to do was watch the chaos unfold. this time around, it was an “experiment” of sorts - he wanted to see whether the kids really would possess the robots if they were killed inside of them, test out different methods, etc. as toy chica would say, though, “there is only one thing that could possibly go wrong…”

although william hadn’t been the best father, there is some part of him that did care about his kids. especially elizabeth, his “favorite” child. he may have ignored her - a lot - especially in favor of his work, as of late, but he did love her. and so when she ignored his constant warnings, his incessant pleading for her to stay away from circus baby, only to be snatched up the second she walked up to her…well. he was devastated, yet again.

he should’ve seen it coming, really, especially after telling her that he’d created circus baby “just for her.” but of course he hadn’t thought it through, and now she was gone. it was like he was reliving what he’d done to henry, wasn’t it? karma’s a bitch, ain’t it, afton.

he closed down circus baby’s after that single incident, and started working on an underground facility for the animatronics to be stored while his own mental state started to deteriorate more and more, since he was in almost complete isolation - not even his own son came to see him anymore now that he was entirely independent by now.

around this time, the next freddy’s opened up - the owner just so happened to be henry’s oldest son, the only apparent survivor of the tragedies that befell his family. this IMMEDIATELY caught william’s attention, and reignited the grudge he felt toward henry and his family all over again. he’d get “revenge” for what was done to him, and even to his daughter - at least, that was how it was justified in his twisted mind.

he applied for a job as a dayshift worker under an alias, since he would be recognized otherwise. thankfully, his appearance had changed SO drastically over the years that even henry’s kid - who’d spent so much time around him back in the day - couldn’t piece his identity together. not at first, anyway…but by then, it was too late. he got to work with his usual pattern - luring kids away with the suit they kept in the back room, then stuffing them into the animatronics.

fortunately for him, this could be the experiment he missed out on when he lost his daughter and closed his own restaurant down. and he didn’t have to pay the price for it - henry’s franchise, son, and overall legacy did. he kept a keen eye on the animatronics’ behavior both before and after the children were killed, and he was fascinated to find that they were indeed haunted. something about the semi-conscious bodies being tethered to metal caused their souls to become tethered, too - which led to events like this.

in fact, their behavior got so aggressive that they started hunting night guards - most of them either quit to keep their lives or mysteriously went “missing” in the night, but william knew what happened. he could see their clumsily stuffed bodies in spare suits in the back. the animatronics were getting revenge for what happened to them, and he was intrigued. but at the same time, he was given a new hope…

he decided to re-dedicate some of his attention to circus baby and her friends with these new discoveries in mind. his resources went to staff and machinery that would allow the bunker to be automated for them - and once that was sufficient (despite a few losses here and there - what can you do? the animatronics Were designed to be killers, after all), he even started up a rental service for them. it wasn’t big, but it was a side project. and in the meantime, he contacted his son about a job offer.

it took some convincing, especially since this offer was coming from a father who had never treated his son well, but because it was about his sister - and despite the supernatural circumstances surrounding the situation - he ultimately accepted. his son would take a job at the rental place as a night technician, but his actual goal would be to find elizabeth and “put her back together.”

with all that settled, this particular freddy’s inevitably closed down FOR GOOD. after all, plenty of grieving parents had come forward, alongside customers complaining about blood and mucus seeping out of the animatronics, and the owner himself had “gone missing” during the night shift (after taking the place of his last willing night guard). and so william went in the abandoned restaurant one last time to dispose of the evidence. after dismantling all of the animatronics and retreating to the safe room, however, he was met with the ghosts of the children he’d killed - and one of them in particular started to approach him.

he wasn’t sure what they could do, but he was frightened enough to back away until he locked eyes with his springlock suit in the corner - and he suited up one last time, positive that once they saw him as “spring bonnie,” the cheerful character that they’d loved and trusted before they died, they’d leave him alone. he made one fatal mistake, though - in his surge of confidence, he laughed to himself the second he put the suit on, which triggered the springlocks. and once one of them went off, all of them started to go off, one by one, inflicting a quite painful death - or what ought to have been one. william always comes back, y’know.

the safe room got sealed up - william never knew who did it, or why, but it seemed like a premeditated arrangement by henry’s son - and 30 years later, fazbear frights opened up and william was Pissed. he’d been locked up all that time and he was itchin for revenge…and since the emily family was gone, he was ready to take his anger out on the world around him. except there was no escape from this attraction, all over again - and there was only one person around. a “guard.”

only, when he approached the makeshift office, what did he find? the “guard” this time around was none other than his goddamn son - except that his son was barely recognizable now, deformed, corpsey, and boney. if it weren’t for the wig and the make-up to make his skin resemble…skin, he Wouldn’t have recognized him. william was a confused and angry stinky, rotting bunny.

every time he managed to make it up to the window pane just in front of the office, he slammed his animatronic paws on it demandingly and tried to speak to michael through severed vocal chords. michael, on the other hand, would wince and desperately try to lure him into another room by distracting the suit he was inside of (which still had a mind of its own, even with him being somewhat dominant) with those damn balloon boy giggles, and he would be unwittingly forced to leave.

the miserable pattern continued for a week until michael set the place ablaze, trying to get rid of the franchise’s worst mistake - william himself. of course, he failed, and william survived…and now he had a new target. his son himself. whoops. and that leads us into the final freddy’s restaurant.

a freddy fazbear’s pizza joint that michael himself opens up, to salvage all the final pieces of the fazbear franchise and get rid of them once and for all, to make sure that everyone is set free. william is, of course, one of these final pieces - and despite realizing that this must be a trap, this piques his curiosity, and he’s confident that he’ll be able to escape again. that’s what he did before.

unfortunately for him, the construction of this place was too clever for him to anticipate - a carefully-constructed labyrinth that would endlessly lure him and the others in a circle, up until the final day, where they would all meet their end in a fiery grave.

and, of course, there’s the end - where william meets his ending in hell, surrounded by the animatronics he’s gotten to know so well; some of which he’s created, some of which henry has, some of which are haunted by his victims, some of which are a product of circumstance, and some of which…are him himself. and the one orchestrating it all just so happens to be henry’s boy…sammy, represented by golden freddy, one of the most vengeful spirits there.

NOW. uh. i’m sure you’ve gotten a taste of it throughout all of this, but we can talk a lil more about his personality and stuff?

william is a very mentally ill boio, but i really like to hone in on the fact that he’s a bpd bastard because i feel like there were lots of hints about that in the books. maybe that’s just me though. i mean, the fact that he wrote stuff about henry that ranged from the dude being his idol and him loving his work to him almost hating his guts and being consumed by jealousy for his talents kinda sealed the deal for me on THAT headcanon?? so he’s got like - a debilitating fear of abandonment, acts kinda recklessly / impulsively, is INCREDIBLY antisocial, hostile, and irritable, has mood swings a-plenty, is actually VERY insecure even though he’ll never show that to anyone around him, and is really self-destructive even if he doesn’t fucking realize it. like, this man will shrug off ANY self-blame until the cows come home.

and straight down the line, i think william meets all the criteria for having antisocial personality disorder, too. disregard for right and wrong, persistent lying to exploit others, disrespecting others, manipulating others for personal gain, arrogance and a sense of superiority, CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR, impulsiveness and failure to plan ahead, hostility, aggression, violence, lack of remorse, dangerous behavior, abusive relationships, failure to consider negative consequences or learn from them, and being consistently irresponsible and failing to meet work obligations.

so he’s obviously manipulative and cruel, and a pathological liar. but well, he can be…nice when he wants to be? it’s usually when he’s first starting his relationships, but it’s never quite “right” - there’s a moment of peace while he struggles to find what his new friend/partner wants in somebody, and he’ll do anything to meet their expectations and keep them happy until they’re content enough for him to start showing his true colors.

in his wife’s case, he was a perfect gentleman who did anything for her, but then he started getting upset with her very easily over the littlest things. things escalated drastically over time, but he apologized every time and assured her he would be better for her, bought her candy and flowers, anything to remind her of that perfect guy he was at first. and that sort of pattern continued up until they were married, and she miserably stuck with him through the arguments and bruises and incidents with her children until she finally had enough.

on a similar note, he really did care about henry (before it all went astray) - henry was his closest friend and it really showed in just how intense his attachment was to him. his depression over henry’s loss was far more intense than what he went through after his divorce. unfortunately, his affection for henry just manifested in an INCREDIBLY twisted way, with his jealousy and bitterness often taking hold more than any actual kindness he might possess.

there’s also his kids - even though michael got the short end of the stick, william did occasionally show…some shred of affection toward him. let’s just say that a lot of the ways that michael was mistreated, beaten, and kicked while he was down was how william was treated as a kid, and those patterns took over once he had kids of his own. when he wasn’t taking out his anger on his family, he did act like a real father every so often, treating his kids to Good days at the diner and letting them play alongside henry’s kids, or playing with them himself, or just tucking them in at night and doing little things to show he did care, even a tiny bit.

and as for elizabeth, the favoritism was real. when william was working on his bigger projects, like starting up fredbear’s or actually designing and creating animatronics - those for circus baby’s pizzeria in particular - she got ignored a lot more, which always upset her, but other than that? she got PLENTY of attention. love from her dad (though his “i love you”s were always spoken so haphazardly to both of his children, whether he intended for them to sound that way or not), playtime (though he always seemed bored), and he would take her out every so often to get ice cream (her favorite). circus baby might not actually have been made for her, but one aspect of her design was certainly inspired by her - the ice cream dispenser. her father’s attitude was always what made her insecure - and there were other things behind the scenes too, like the way he threw out her drawings when she wasn’t looking (she always found them in the trash later on).
