#it was some fucking gym bro pool thirst trap but#he had the same body shape as i do and id have the same body as he if i hit the gym and got some muscle#like. i have to talk about this.#he had the same fucked up back that makes it so that it accentuates your ass and makes your stomach push out a bit#his stomach laid on top of his waistband the exact same way mine does#he had a rlly similar waist and the skin around it rolled a bit as he moved around the same way mine does espec on the back and sides#similar leg shape#a slightly smaller waist with slightly bigger hips than your expect from seeing the rest of his body? me too!!!#and the shape from his waist to hips. it was insane to see.#ive literally never before seen a single man with the same body shape#emphasis on the shape bc our body types are v different since he has great muscles and i have 0 but like that is literally irrelevant#he was so fucking insanely hot#and a lot of ppl in his comments agreed#agh i cannot get over this im so emotional#i wish i could link him or something but ppl would call me delusional for saying i look like him bc i do not look like him were just shaped#the same with different body types#ok i did show him to a friend and she was like 'WHY DOES HE STAND LIKE YOU' answer is the same type of fucked up spine#god his stomach looked so good#im not being weird its just that i sometimes feel weird about mine bc it doesnt look like the ones i usually see bc once again. spine.#but its insane that his looked so good and mine looks similar i am literally never again going to be insecure about how i look like with#no shirt bc. mgnhnfdkbms#god i wish i could express myself better so i could just blast exactly what im feeling into someones brain#bc i make this sound weird and cant put emphasis on how important this was to me#but like. imagine scrolling social media and seeing a video of a man in swimtrunks and his body just looks like if you were a gym bro#i think id actually enjoy hitting the gym few times a week but im scared of not knowing the etiquette. being judged. the machines. being#judged on how im using the machines.#but like they seem fun to use#leevi talks#also my self esteem is good i feel very neutral about the things that dont bloat my ego#this wasnt that kinda post im just feeling something that cannot be described

I love the shape language for Machete and Vasco, how angular and pointy the former is VS how round and soft the other... It's so GOOD I adore that
Thank you! I like the contrast as well, it makes them very fun to draw together. I try to keep them visually distinct while still making sure that they look harmonious and complementary next to each other.
#some more design musings that I've noticed that don't really matter but I tend to think about when drawing them:#Machete's shapes have an upward direction the ears the neck fluff and even the tip of his snout has that upturned angle#while Vasco's vibe is more loose and relaxed his huge floppy ears almost make him look like he's melting#neither of them have strong markings but the positioning of the gradients they have is very similar it's just different colors#Vasco has dark almond eyes (with what I can only describe as disney eyelashes)#his irises appear nearly black but if you shone a strong light directly on them they'd reveal a honey/amber hue#Machete's eyes are big and prominent with disproportionally small pupils#lately I've been drawing him with just the faintest salmon colored irises#but if the color scheme of the piece calls for it they can be depicted more vividly red#Machete has longer untameable fur here and there while Vasco is uniformly smooth and velvety#Machete is supposed to be the serious and inhibited half of the two but his face has a lot more expressive potential than Vasco's#it's actually kind of a struggle that I can't make Vasco emote with his ears at all those are typically a huge advantage in furry art#Vasco's body language is open and casual he takes up space confidently#Machete is usually very closed and defensive he has a habit of crossing his arms and legs and keeping his hands together and close to body#in general Vasco shouldn't be wearing anything black or red and Machete can't be seen wearing blue or gold#white is neutral territory it's usually the color of sleepwear and undershirts and as a result has a more intimate tone to it#answered#ardate

#satin and chenille#trolls#dreamworks trolls#trolls fanart#fanart#sunny's art#my art#art#i am getting more comfy drawing trolls... i also tried redesigning them a bit (nails and chenille's under skirt and hair and heart nose)#i thought giving chenille the tight skirt would make her stand out a little more when compared to satin's look which is more free#also thought it would give a more ''classy'' to the classier twin#also thought it would a good opportunity to experiment with the trolls' body types.. so i gave them skinny long legs#idk man how we feeling about this? i thought it was an interesting & cute concept that would fit satin and chenille best#also thought changing their legs would give them more contrast from the snack pack members. not like they aren't already contrasting but#ALSO i tried giving chenille more sharper shapes but its a bit hard to figure out where i should incorporate sharp shapes#when the point is for them to look similar. so i just gave her x's on her knees and sharper earings

Very enjoyable :D#Okay now to 416v2 haha - he's also super cute!! Leaving some of his lines to implication and pseudo-lineless has a fun effect hehe#I also don't draw Stanley with them very often and I didn't in 416v2's original design either but his collar buttons! So bad its so busy with colors and all the weird things he wears#I get all protagonists have used the trends at the time but#they wanted a modern look so bad but it doesnt even tell anything about his character he just looks like a shitty gacha guy#He looks like a otaku from a big city that goes to arcades after school and is inspired from those games to learn fighting to me#Not a sheltered boy that lives with his martial arts master in the mountains#Though i still wanted to keep some of that chuuni look with the hair shape & the asymmetrical thing he has with his stupid pant leg#So i added a ribbon around his ankle&moved his armband to the opposite direction#And gave him older headphones so it fits better with the design#Btw i got his shoes from his xiv costume#I also kept the past protagonists in mind so he can look distinct but also fit with them#For example kyo&ash have natural hair colors while k'&shun'ei dont (though changed it to plum because cyan stands out too much)#And i didnt wanna keep his emo bang because ash already has it#thought about making him wear his jacket open like kyo but it looke nicer around his waist i think#He looks too similar to kim and doesnt stand out too much but i cant come up with something better rn..#I didnt research about chinese clothing though because i wasnt sure where to look so maybe i fucked up something

Rosie met them in the prologue (shameless plug since I have it on Ao3) And by and large, she's mostly apathetic about them.
Valerius : she just sees as "that mean twink who threw wine on me". In other timelines where he's married to one of her friends and probably starts to be less of an asshole I think she can start to get along with him. Or at least not bare her teeth at him LMAO
Valdemar: DOES. NOT. LIKE. Literally the first time she saw them she thought "what the fuck is that." she's very superstitious and really truly thinks they're some kind of evil faerie that would like. steal a baby from its crib. When she was working in the plague dungeons she was one of the only doctors who didn't take their shit and wouldn't let them scare her.
Vlastomil: Listen if she didn't almost throw up every time she sees a worm they'd probably get along fine. Worms and Fungi are both decomposers, you guys are the same kind of autistic. Really just regards him as 'someone's sad wet grandpa'.
Volta: The only one that Rosie would say she outright likes LMFAO. Honestly feels quite bad for her, especially the way the other ones seem to push her around. Whenever Rosie had to be at the Palace she always tried to sneak Volta some snacks.
Vulgora: She honestly has No opinion of them other than that they need to stop pushing Volta around. Such a shame bc 1. I think they could be an ICONIC pair and also 2. It would be so fun to see these two fight. I think they need to be in a wrestling match for real.

relatedly i really really like thinking about the different deepdweller shoals and how interconnected they are
#sunne speaks#abby’s and leviathan’s are pretty far apart#but i think leviathan’s is closer to the one remora’s descended from#and unknown’s is closer to abby’s#my reasoning; leviathan has pinkish reddish blood and a kind of ominous warm glow#and unknown is like if abby had legs and more sharklike features#there is also a third category entirely that is more cerulean blue with opaque lobed fins that abbys late wife belonged to#rip coelacanth deepdweller lady i dont remember if i named u yet#but!#generally each shoal has some traits that make that group unique in a loose family sort of way#and ypu can tell where someone is from by stuff like hue presence/absence of certain features fin shape tail shape etc#and since shoals usually intermingle a lot i think kids would choose one side or the other to identify with#based on which was most similar#family lines are kept by just generational memory or things like horns#this may make 0 sense idk im sleepy#if youve made t this far in the tags. you should make a deepdweller with me i’ll love you endlessly forever
