Looking for Literate 1x1 R6S Roleplays!
Hi everyone!
I’ve been craving some 1x1 R6S Roleplays very badly, so I thought I’d make a post here to see if anyone had any interest.
Real quick info before I go into what I’m looking for:
- I’m a 24f with 10+ years experience of RP. I RP on Discord mainly, but am very open to other platforms for RP as well.
- Looking for someone who is at least 18 years old, and is able to write in a literate / novella style way.
I’m looking for two things:
OC x Canon
I have two general concepts for this. The first is something wholesome with hurt/comfort that is along the lines of ‘operator stumbles upon a child who is in need of help, and takes them in’ kind of vibe. The second is just a general oc x canon romance. I DO have actual detailed plot ideas for each of these general concepts, I’m just not going to waste a bunch of space here listing every one of them out. If you’re interested in one of these concepts let me know and I’ll go more in depth with you!
I’m looking for people to play as:
- Thatcher
- Doc
- Kapkan
- Glaz
- Pulse
If you’re willing to play as Thatcher, Kapkan, and/or Doc, I might be willing to double with you.
OC x OC
I do have a handful of operator OCs that I’ve been itching to do some stuff with. I’m craving the oc x canon stuff more, and don’t have any specific plots in mind at the moment for my ocs, but am willing to plan something out with you if you have an oc you’d like to write with one of mine. If you’re interested in this, please let me know about your oc and we can figure out which one(s) of mine will work best with yours for an rp!
If you’re interested in any of these, please feel free to reply to this post or message me here! I’m desperate for rp so please don’t hesitate to contact me if you want to plan something. Thanks! :)

I'm looking for someone who might be interested in a Dishonored rp
Looking for someone who might be interested in playing Samuel or perhaps the Outsider during the events of DH1 for a literate rp... I'd likely be playing some kind of oc. I know OC x canon is difficult to find but I thought I'd try my luck anyways.
If you're interested at all, please like this post or message me!
This is a generic rp blog that doesn't have any specific muse or anything so don't confuse yourself if you're looking at this blog haha.
Hope to find someone!

Hewwo roleplayers
I'm gonna make this short : I find some people who are interested in doing a 1x1 with me for a plot that's essentially about an orphaned/abandoned kid winds up on the base, and all the mercs collectively are like "well, guess I'm a dad now". Just an emotional, wholesome kind of rp.
I'd play kid and a few mercs, you'd play remaining mercs.
I'm real literate, been role playing for about 12 years now, so it'd be cool if you were literate too! I'm hoping to do this on discord, but other places are cool too.
Lmk if you're interested!

Ari watched the awoken with intensity, curiosity actually peaking in her while he read whatever was in his hands. When he spoke, she was startled and jumped slightly, not expecting him to actually have known where she was. There was no possible way he could have seen her, right?
For a moment, she hesitated. She had no idea who this was, or if he'd end up being threatening. At home, she'd heard whispers of Awoken being distrusted individuals, though she'd never actually been able to verify if that was true or not.
However, despite her uncertainty, she also knew she had to do something. She had avoided every living thing she'd seen up until this point, and knew that there was no way she'd be able to figure anything out unless she actually spoke to someone and tried. He didn't seem very threatening to her, sitting and reading without any care about her being there, and so ultimately she decided this was her best chance.
Slowly, she stepped forward, a nervous expression on her face. It was odd having to do things all on her own, without her parents or really anyone to back her up. It was just her, alone, making her first big choice since she'd submerged from that ship.
"I'm not a hunter." She spoke very quietly with uncertainty in her tone, lifting her eyes to meet his. Alone, dirtied clothes, wounds from the wreck that were still healing - she had no idea what kind of reaction she'd get from this man. "I'm just... a human. I was in a ship wreck a couple weeks ago..."
She stopped herself from continuing. Half because it hurt to recalk what happened, half because he didn't even ask anyways and she now felt like she was imposing.
"I'm sorry.. you seem busy, I really don't want to bother you. I can be on my way if you'd like to be alone."

Green grass, blue skies - a planet overtaken by nature. Soft eyes wandered her surroundings, a sigh falling from her that was filled with sadness.
Somewhere far behind her was the ship she’d left behind some time ago, and she knew that with time it too would be overtaken by the nature of this planet. It would eventhally blend in with everything else, and would once again live as it’d turn overgrown.
Though the ship had found its final resting place right with her parents, for some reason she was still walking and alive. This was something she had to accept.
Despite it all, when she saw how peaceful things felt here, she felt some kind of peace fall over her.
She wandered for awhile - sometimes she saw some weird looking monsters that she kept her distance from. Other times, she saw heavily armored guardians, and also kept her distance from them. Even if she wanted to speak with them, they were always coming and going, and moving on so quickly that she never had enough time to decide to take her chance.
Once though, she saw someone different. She paused behind a boulder to watch where she thought she might be hidden. He looked like a guardian, with less armor, and she recognized him as being an Awoken. She’d never met an awoken in person before.
He seemed to have camped out here, because he had a lot od belongings strewn about, and seemed to be studying things intensely. It had been weeks since she’d spoken to someone, and part of her longed to step out and try, but she stayed put in her hiding spot and just observed for now.

Wolf in Sheeps Clothing
[ @softconnor ]
It had been three weeks since she had started running.
Julia, an android from West Virgina, had lived happily with a family of five - a mother, a father, and their three children. Herself, as well as another android by the name of Jerry were purchased to help the family with their needs, and it had all went well up until their first child graduated.
With one less child in the house, they had less of a need for two androids, and money was getting tight. Julia found out that she was going to be let go, sold off, and fearing for what would come of that, she became deviant and left her home in the night.
Fleeing was terrifying, especially when you have no idea where you're going next, or what your purpose is anymore. She heard rumors of Detroit being the capitol of all things android, and that others were starting to become deviant like her and rebel against humans.
She had no idea what it all meant, but she headed for Detroit.
She changed her looks, her identity, and tried starting over. No one would recognize her, and if she was lucky she'd never be returned back to her old family again. By the time she arrived in Detroit, deviants had already started growing in size, and she could tell a rebellion was going to break out within enough time.
She managed to find some other deviants, and started helping them with their causes. Too many times, police had come around and tried to stop them, but never did they get caught or have their identities discovered.
Deciding to take a huge risk, Julia figured the best way to help her friends cause was to throw off the people who were trying to stop them - the police department itself.
It wasn't the easiest, but her conning skills were good enough that she was able to convince the police department that she was another detective android, sent to assist with cases as need be.
It worked, and today was her first day on the job.
Hank Anderson himself. He was speaking to another android, who she was unaware was part of this team. She found it odd that he was helping out the humans rather than his own kind.
Stepping toward the desk of her new boss, she stopped just in front of him. Hank Anderson himself. Hank paused his speaking and turned his attention to the girl. "Another one of these goddamned things? Can't I just get another human to help me out?" Hank groaned.
The android just smiled at the two. "Hello, I'm Julia. I'm the new detective on your team."

Though she was the one that asked him to stay, Jace tensed up regardless when he took a seat near her. There was a brief moment of anxiousness, but it eventually passed. She was still unsure what to think of this android, but she did know that she'd much rather him be here all night than to be all alone in this house.
When he mentions not being good at these things, Jace looks at him. "It's okay Ralph, there's nothing to be good at..." she trails off a moment, debating if she should continue. "I'm just ... afraid of being alone. I've been alone all day and it's been really scary, I just want someone close so I feel a little safer." She finally admitted what she was worried about.
He smiles at her. After a pause, she offers a small one back, but it was very short lived and not sincere. After everything she'd been through and how today turned out, it was hard to think she'd ever really be feeling happy anymore. At least she felt kind of safe now and had a place to stay because of Ralph.
When he asks if he can tell her a story, her face looks like shes deciding on it. "I don't think I've been told any stories before, maybe a long time ago..." she says this quietly, and it's mostly spoken to herself rather than Ralph. Then she nods, adjusting herself on the bed a bit so that she can fall asleep if she needs to.
Hesitantly, she reaches to hold a small piece of his sleeve, hopefully without him noticing. She feared that if she fell alseep, he'd leave her and maybe she'd just wake up all alone again.
"I'd like that, can it be a hapoy story?" She finally responds, letting out a yawn as she finally let her exhaustion start taking over.
issarpblog:
She followed where he took her, and managed to get through the fence that he lifted up. The ground was cold and muddy, but she otherwise got through just fine.
When they entered the house, she let out a small breath of relief. It was dry inside, warmer than it was outside, and it felt a lot safer. She opened her mouth to speak, but Ralph had dashed up the stairs for something, so she paused herself.
The house was in rough shape. Her own home wasn’t exactly the best either, but Ralphs house looked like it had been abandoned for many years now. Everything was covered in dust, and there were random things scattered across the floor. She wondered if she could possibly help him out with cleaning up, it didn’t seem like this place would be to bad if it was cleaned up a bit.
With the sound of the matteress falling down the stairs, Jace was pulled away from her thoughts. She watched in surprise as he worked quickly to set her up a bed with what he had around the house. He looked so very pleased about this, like he was excited to have her there to stay. This really threw her off, because she’d never had anyone so welcoming to her before, but it made her feel like she could trust him more maybe.
“I don’t have extra clothes, no… I just brought a blanket, and an old toy of mine.” She admitted, opening her bag to pull out a small blanket. She decided that being by the fire would be warm enough for her, and so she laid her blanket overtop the layer of curtains on the mattress. This made it a little less dusty for her to stay on.
Slowly sitting on the mattress, she yawned. The clothes she wore were still soaking wet, but being by the warm fire made it better at least. Things felt kind of peculiar - being away from home, talking to a stranger and agreeing to stay at his house, along with staying at a place that was in as rough of shape as this one. But somehow, she felt kind of okay, because she wasn’t scared in her bed at home, and she was with someone who seemed to actually be happy she was there.
“Ralph,” she spoke, looking up at the android. “You won’t leave me tonight, right? I really don’t want to be alone…”
Tumblr media
“Ralph will find you some clothes tomorrow.” He says matter of factually, trying not to let his emotions show. He feels so much empathy for her, hearing that she doesn’t even have a change of clothes, and knowing that she probably feels so scared and alone right now. Ralph knows what that feels like; maybe he can help.
Still, he startles at her question. She wants Ralph to…stay? He ponders this for a moment. He’s not sure it’s the best idea, but he can’t really say no, can he? He nods, more to himself than to her, and sits down on the bed next to her. He feels awkward, hands suddenly not sure where to rest and instead fidgeting in his lap.
“Ralph is…not good with these sorts of things.” Affection, he means. He’s not sure what he’s supposed to do in this moment, but he feels surprisingly content. “But he will stay, if that’s what Jace wants.” He looks over at her and smiles hesitantly.
“W-would you like to hear a story?” He blurts, not even sure if he knows of any. But surely he can make something up?

She watched carefully as he kneels down, slowly reaching out to touch where the burns are. The touch was very gentle, and only lasted a moment. Her expression looked sad, and she slowly drew her hand away. “I’m sorry that happened to you…” she said quietly.
When he mentioned the family, she broke her eye contact with him, and slowly rubbed the spot on her arm that was bruised. “I don’t think all little girls are suppose to have families…” she started slowly. “My mom and dad didn’t like me very much, so I don’t think I’m a very good daughter…maybe I’m just not suppose to have a family.”
There was an expression on her face that looked exhausted and broken, but she didn’t reveal anything further. It was still raining, and she was starting to shiver. Part of her knew she shouldn’t trust strangers, but at the same time she also knew that if she lived by that, no one would be able to help her. She really had nothing left to lose at this point, and really just wanted a place to sleep.
“I would like to sleep at your house tonight Ralph, I have no where else to go and I’m very cold.” She approached him, reaching up to take his hand so he could lead her. “I like your name a lot, Ralph. My name is Jace.”
Tumblr media
Ralph’s eyes soften as he notices the bruises. He feels a spark of anger but tries to push it down. He could bring it up later, when the girl was more comfortable. He stands up, taking the girl’s hand and picking up the bags he’d set down previously.
“Ralph is glad to meet you Jace. He would have been angry with himself if he let a little girl sleep in the cold and rain.”
He leads her around the house, to a cut portion of the fence. He tosses the bags over the fence and then holds up the fence for the girl to crawl under. He feels a little bad that he’s getting her all muddy, but maybe he can find some clothes upstairs for her.
When they enter the house, Ralph drops everything and rushes upstairs. “Wait here!” He tosses back, with no further explanation. As he passes the bathroom he can’t help but hesitate, knowing what is hidden inside. He will have to take care of that before the little girl sees. He presses onward. He finds a dirty old mattress in one of the bedrooms, and tears a curtain from the window. He struggles to push the mattress down the stairs, and can’t help but whoop in victory when he finally succeeds. He places it in front of the fireplace and looks over eagerly at the girl, almost expecting an applause for such a feat.
He drapes the curtain over the mattress and pats it, causing dust to fly everywhere. He seems oblivious to just how gross it is, but continues collecting more curtains from around the house.
“Do you have other clothes? Ralph can try to wash those ones tonight.”

Shivering in the rain, the child cried over the sound of the rain pouring down. She hadn’t even heard anyone come around, and when she heard the voice, she quickly moved away.
“Ah, I’m sorry!” She said quickly, eyes locking on the figure in front of her. “Please, don’t hurt me, I didn’t mean to bother you…” She quickly spoke, fearful that he’d be upset with her.
When he questions about her family, she hesitates. Doesn’t say anything. Thinks about what she could possibly say in response. She wipes away a few new tears, but ultimately holds back.
“I don’t have any family, sir. I’m all alone.” She decided to leave out the parts about the abuse, the pain, how much they hated her - and instead just left it at that.
When she focused on him a bit more, she noticed the burnt side of his face. She didn’t jump back, but she did react to it. Her expression changed from being fearful, to looking concerned instead.
“You’re hurt,” she says to him carefully, slowly standing up. She dared take a step forward to get a better look. The way it was on his face, she guessed it was similar to how she had bruises on her skin. “Someone… did it to you on purpose?” She questioned quietly, looking at him sadly. “… may I look? I don’t know much about androids… but I know how to fix up a human when they’re bleeding, maybe I can help you…”
Ralph tilts his head. “All alone?” He shakes his head, puzzled. “No, that’s not right. Little girls always have families. Little girl, mother, father!” He insists, as though she doesn’t know what the word means.
He steps back as she starts to approach, hand raising up to absentmindedly touch his face. “Ralph is okay,” he assures her. “It doesn’t bother him anymore.” Still, as she asks him if she can look, he can’t help but kneel down and allow her to finally see him in clear view.
Tumblr media
“Ralph doesn’t want to scare you with his stories,” he murmurs as she examines his face. He can sense there is something she doesn’t want to tell him, but that’s okay, he thinks. Ralph keeps secrets too.
“Ralph lives there.” He gestures towards the abandoned lot. “He saw you trying to get in. If you’re really all alone, maybe…Maybe the little girl would like to sleep at Ralph’s house tonight?”

Two Sides of the Same Coin
[ @wr6oo ]
Four walls and a bed can have very different meanings depending on who you are, and what happens inside them. Generally, people think that its the happiest place in the world, the place you can call home and feel warm and safe in. Four walls and a bed is just a room of sanctuary for most.
Sometimes, those four walls and a bed can be like prison.
Tracing bruises on her skin, a nine year old lays on her bed, trying her best to count minutes in her head. The four walls of her room were terrifying to her, a place that was slowly deteriorating her because of abusive parents. The walls felt like a place she couldn’t escape, and with every passing day she felt like they were getting closing in on her. The room felt smaller and smaller, and she couldn’t take it anymore.
She stops counting the minutes. It should be anytime now that she would hear the front door shut and lock. Her parents would leave, and she was going to give something a try.
Click and lock.
Her cue had come. Reaching under her bed, she pulled out an old damaged backpack, small but not even filled with what personal belongings she had.
She was ready to run away, and never again look back at this house. She had no idea where she would go, where she would end up, or if she would even last long on her own. It didn’t matter, as long as she wasn’t here anymore.
Stepping outside, she began cautiously walking out. Her eyes wandered worryingly, fearful that her parents would find her, and punish her for running away. When she was certain they weren’t there, she kept on her way, and only looked back once before leaving it all behind.
Her freedom gave her a whole new sense. She was relieved, it felt like she had finally escaped hell itself, and was now on her way to a whole new beginning. But it was scary too, because she had no idea where to go, or what happened next. Everything was uncertain, and it was as equally bad as it was good.
As she thought, the joys of freedom was short lived. People around her made her extremely anxious, especially when they gave her curious looks, and not many of them looked remotely friendly. She had no idea where she was, had no money, and was getting very hungry. Nighttime came faster than she though, and the dark streets weren’t reassuring to her.
As if to make everything worse, the night was cold, and it began to rain. She spotted what looked like an old abandoned house, and decided to see if she could find a way inside. To her despair, it was behind a wire fence that she was unable to get through.
Finally, she surrendered. Slowly sitting on the sidewalk, she felt cries overtake her, and there was nothing she could do about it. Drenched, shivering, and no place to go, everything felt like it was truly falling apart. She had no one left in the world to go to that wouldn’t hurt her, and she couldn’t even last one day on her own. She was alone, with nothing left to give, and was finally surrendering it all.

Ralph is on his way home, trash bags in hand. As he approaches, he notices someone else is already there. He gasps and jumps behind a tree. Peering out, he observes the figure trying and failing to break into his house. Not another visitor, Ralph hopes. The figure eventually sits down on the curb, but Ralph waits another few moments before stepping out from behind the tree.
He had planned to sneak around the human, but as he passes them, he hears something. Crying? And now that he thought about it, the human was rather small. Ralph hesitates, setting down his bags before turning back towards them.
“H-hello?” He calls out, but doesn’t step any closer. His fingers wrap tightly around the handle of his knife. “Are you okay?” He can make her out clearly now, a small girl, a ratty backpack at her side. He wants to reach out, comfort her, but he’s afraid too. Would she scream, if she saw him? Ralph shudders, but can’t bring himself to leave her there.
“Where is your family?”

The four walls of her room were terrifying to her, a place that was slowlu deteriorating her because of abusive parents. The walls felt like a place she couldn't escape, and with every passing day she felt like they were getting closing in on her. The room felt smaller and smaller, and she couldn't take it anymore.
She stops counting the minutes. It should be anytime now that she would hear the front door shut and lock. Her parents would leave, and she was going to give something a try.
Click and lock.
Hee cue had come. Reaching under her bed, she pulled out an old damaged backpack, small but not even filled with what personal belongings she had.
She was ready to run away, and never again look back at this house. She had no idea where she would go, where she would end up, or if she would even last long on her own. It didn't matter, as long as she wasn't here anymore.
Stepping outside, she began cautiously walking out. Her eyes wandered worryingly, fearful that her parents would find her, and punish her for running away. When she was certain they weren't there, she kept on her way, and only looked back once before leaving it all behind.
Nighttime came faster than she though, and the dark streets weren't reassuring to her.
Drenched, shivering, and no place to go, everything felt like it was trult falling apart. She had no one left in the world to go to that wouldn't hurt her, and she couldn't even last one day on her own. She was alone, with nothing left to give, and was finally surrendering it all.

Now that just did it. This man was acting really odd, just deciding to sit here in this alleyway. She wiped her eyes and now frowned in disapproval.
“You shouldn’t stay, sir.” She said in response to his choice. “You have to go home. Why would you care about where I’m sleeping anyways?” She looked defeated, knowing well that no matter what she said, if he decided to  stay, there was no way she would be able to stop him.
“You really should get home, it’s cold, and it’s getting dark now.” She commented, looking up and noting that the sky was getting dimmer by the minute.
There was a deep breath of consideration. As much as she wanted him to leave her alone, she didn’t want to inconvenience him. She disliked being a nuisance, and that’s what she felt she was being right now, wasting his time.
“Listen sir, I don’t want to be a burden or anything, and keeping you out wasting your time on me is doing that. So, what is it you want from me? I’ll sleep where you want me to if you don’t want me to sleep out here, but I can’t stay because it’s not my home.” She explained, looking at him with careful focus now. He didn’t appear to be annoyed or bothered, but she thought maybe he was nervous himself. Why would he possibly be nervous at a time like this?
“As long as you promise not to hurt me, I’ll do what you want, okay? I just don’t want you to stay out here because of me.”
A New Beginning

She watched the man with wide eyes, fully focused. She wanted to keep an eye on him to make sure he wasn’t going to make any sudden moves. When he only crouched and spoke softly, she felt slightly less tense, and was willing to listen to what he had to say.
Though there was no way of telling whether or not he was lying when he said he wasn’t going to hurt her, the thought crossed her mind that if he had planned on hurting her, he probably would have done it by now, rather than wasting time to talk to her. Him mentioning he had cops for friends also made her feel slightly more hopeful, but she was still uncertain.
There was a pause when he finished speaking, and Isabel eyed the front of the alleyway, wondering for a brief moment if she could make it if she decided to run for it. Instead she looked back at him, and frowned deeply.
“I don’t have a better place to stay than the streets sir.” She finally spoke. Now, it was finally time for everything to just spill over and come out, emotions overtaking her and nowhere to run away. Tears finally spilled over her face, which she continually tried to wipe away.
“My dad left me here, he dropped me off I think a week ago. He didn’t want to take care of me anymore because mom had died. I don’t have a home anymore sir, I don’t know where it is, and even if I did he doesn’t want me there!” She pressed hersslf against the wall harder, wishing he would just go away at this point. Everything was useless, and she had no home anyways.
The more information she let out the more he felt a pang at his heart. The poor girl just left there. It didn’t matter how many awful cases he saw in his career working as a prosecutor, the ones with children always made him feel worse than any of the others. Always.
Everything also gave him pause to wonder what it was about fathers. His own was someone he never wished to think about and given the information he had on most those he considered friends they were not exactly the best either. The young girl was left as if there was nothing about her that should be cared for, on the street, no less. Her mother died and her father left her. It was no surprise as to why exactly she was so fearful, especially in the city.
He decided to drop the topic of home and her family when he saw the reaction. Mostly, he was trying to think of what anyone from the squad would do. He was good for when things were settled down, not when they were happening in the moment. “Sometimes…dads…they suck.” He tried, careful to not look at her too intently, but was still trying to seem friendly. “Sometimes…” Well, what he wanted to say wasn’t going to help matters and he learned a few lessons, keeping his mouth shut, swallowing. “You cannot sleep out here.”
“Or,” he shifted so that he was sitting on the ground, desperately trying not to think about what he was sitting in, “I’m going to sit here with you all night.” When you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em.

A New Beginning
issarpblog:
Isabel was practically holding her breath to try and remain silent, but despite her best efforts there was no undoing the fact that she had been seen. As she had feared the most, footsteps came down the alleyway, and her eyes closed tightly as she hoped they would just go away.
As the footsteps got closer, fear started to set in more and more. Whoever this was, they weren’t going away, and this was a certain fact when she heard his voice speak. The words were frightening, but with the undertone of someone who didn’t mean harm. Despite that, she knew that seemingly kind intentions didn’t always end well.
Even though he spoke, she remained silent with the hopes that he would just turn around and walk back, but before long he was close enough that they could see each other. She looked at him with tired eyes, blinking only once before she decided to speak up.
“Please sir,” She started, her voice shaky. “just leave me alone, I don’t have anything for you. Really, I’ve got nothing left, and I just want to find a place to sleep tonight.” She was trying to sound mature and rational, but her voice was weak and laced with all of the fear she held inside. The thought crossed her mind that she wouldn’t be very lucky and this man would simply ignore her pleas, that he was someone with bad intentions and would either hurt her, try to rob her, or even kill her. She didn’t know any better, only that she was weak and alone in the middle of New York City, in the middle of the night.
“Please, just let me go, and don’t hurt me, that’s all I’m asking.” She spoke, her own emotions failing her as tears started falling from being so overwhelmed.
It only took three words for Rafael to get the sense that this was nothing he first imagined upon walking into the dark alley in the dead of night. The shakiness displayed in the voice of the clearly young girl only served to remind him of victims. Scared and abused victims who needed justice. A justice that only he could actually provide her with. He squatted down in his suit, a soft prayer so the fabric of his pants wouldn’t rip, or a knee would find itself in the street. Minor inconveniences but his aging body didn’t always cooperate when he wanted it to.
He did think about calling Liv. With Noah she would have more experience in something. Hell, even Amanda would be more qualified than he was. Come to think of it, anyone on the squad would. Something he would worry about in coming moments, rather tried to make it known that he wasn’t a threat. He could never harm…well, anyone.
“I am not going to hurt you.” Words were far softer than his previous ones, even frowning at the thought. He remembered his own childhood with his father and how there were moments he thought he would be better off literally anywhere other than that South Bronx apartment with a man who disliked him as much as Rafael disliked his own father. He also knew that had anyone offered to help him he would have done anything but give into them. A fighter spirit, only that did not solve everything.
“My name is Rafael. I work with the DA’s office, my best friend is a cop. She’s nice, a lot nicer than me, has a son of her own.” He felt as lost as ever trying to come up with something that would help the poor child. At least trust him, long enough. “I am positive there are plenty better places to sleep than the street, in the cold.” The tips of his fingers reach the pavement to keep some semblance of a balance. “I promise I won’t hurt you.”
