Opossum feeding on roadkill

Opossums stay active all winter, often switching to the day shift to take advantage of the warmest times of the day. These are omnivores and aren't known for being picky - this one was spotted pulling apart some frozen roadkill!

anxzie has their ears pierced, one twice, their tongue pierced, and all of their grubscars have two bars each so 12 altogether. I imagine that the clurch has something akin to meditation sessions about body modification and since anxzie has just SO much anxiety, they went a lot. plus, they just like the looks (otherwise it would have been accupuncture instead of permanent mods). they're open to more, but also kind of running out of space, and scared of getting a troll prince albert or whatever sterth doesn't have any piercings. he Used To have his fins pierced but they got ripped out, and now they're both too ragged to try again and he's gunshy from it

sterth has a tattoo of his (long dead) lusus, which was a very large spotted garden eel, on his right side. it winds around his arm and the head is on his chest. he also has a skywhale tattoo on his hip that he got while very drunk and very new to his career as an orphaner, which is in basically a very cartoony cute style as opposed to the black and white stark style of his lusus tattoo. he's open to more, but he's always busy anxzie has no tattoos so far, but it's not out of a dislike so much as indecision on what to get. sterth is trying to convince them to get the whale too because they're besties

🤔 THINKING FACE — what are some of your oc's quirks/mannerisms?

sterth tends to pace and mutter to himself, especially if he's left alone for very long at all. he hates silence but he's not comfortable listening to things like music or podcasts very long, so he just mumbles to himself while he works. he also smokes both to pass the time and because he's addicted, and tends to chew the filters to where he has to dump them before he's halfway done anxzie usually pulls on their ears when nervous (sterth tells them that's why they're so long), and tends to count things out loud several times when doing any kind of inventory. they also sit cross-legged every single time they sit, even in a seat (since they're tall they will just fold their legs up and hold them with their arms), and usually if they lean forward on something they put their knee/foot up on it for leverage. if they lean backwards, they do the same thing, but that one looks more natural than the forwards one
