I'm not going to get into how many scrapped beginnings I have, but @silver-shortage-in-markarth convinced me to at least start this story with Axel getting attacked by his grandmother's rooster. It has to be during the daytime though so sadly these go to waste!

Axel is the major character who got the most work done in CAS. Some of it is that there was n o t h i n g in terms of curly hair for sims in 2016 when he was first made. He got small tweaks to his eyes, nose, and jawline. His back story got mostly uprooted. His parents got genderswapped and remade. One got killed off. (it's the first thing you learn, it's OK) He got a past medical condition that involved doses of corticosteroids. So he's not fat but his belly and face got filled in. Actually lots of the cast gained weight. It makes Axel look softer and less mature, but adds to Andrea being large and intimidating in flashbacks. And it makes Thu look less like a cryptid.

Is it normal to ask any potential readers to give advice in regards to various topics? I sometimes write about 'touchy' subjects, and I don't want to end up offending anybody. I do as much research as I can, but I still want to get input from other readers, just in case. Do a lot of people do that?

It’s a type of beta reading, and you can definitely reach out to your fandom (or even outside of it) to find people who are willing to read your fic and help you make sure that you’re treating your topics with respect and sensitivity.

Generally speaking, I see people put up a blog post asking for beta readers and specifying what they want help with. You can also try a blog like @needabeta or a fandom-related discord server etc.

This is a good idea not only just to avoid offending people but also for your own education and improvement. Good on you for seeking it out :)

Creative: I’ve had loads of ideas swimming up and about in my head for God knows how long. I tend to make a lot of new OCs, AUs, stories, prompts and such.

Clumsy: I keep geeting injured unintentionally and I often trip on stuff that aren’t there. I tend to have poor coordination and such. Also, I often hit my head on things occasionally

Erratic: I tend to daydream maladptively and talk to myself often 👀

Loner: I don’t like hanging out with people, especially to those in the outernet where I have nothing in common with them. Also, strangers are often scary

Kleptomaniac: I have a tendency to borrow stuff 🤫
