Yautja's are light big cats, we can all agree on thst right?

How would they react to a Christmas tree?

The yautja watched you bring in a tree confused on why would would bring that inside but then get mad at him for bringing his kills inside. He gets even more confused when you start putting things on the tree. The shiny orbs confuse him and yet allure him. He most have it.

The whole time your setting up the tree he's trying to steal the ornaments from you. It starts to get on your nerves but he looks at them with such an intense curiosity thst you can't help but smile. When the tree is finally all decorated and covered in Christmas lights you plug it in and take a step back to admire your work.

The sound started off quiet at first, you didn't notice it right away until it got much louder. Looking to your side you found the source. He's purring as he looks at the lights with wide eyes. You've never see his pupils so wide before. The moment was magical until he pounced on the tree wanting the sparkly shiny lights.

Getting him off the tree was neat impossible but after a while you managed it. He now does that every time he sees the Christmas tree lit up. Every year you think he won't do it but he does.

One year you didn't bother with a tree sense he tackes it every dakn time. He was very upset by this and stormed out. An hour later he came back with a whole ass grown tree wanting you to set it up. You went back to setting the tree up every year again after that.

Do you think a yautja has ever accidentally fallen out of a tree while hunting and tried to play it off?

This is Torachande, a DeviantArt friend's character, which I drew back in 2006. The design is based on a ref sheet created by another DeviantArt friend.

There's a long and silly story behind the image, the upshot of which is that Torachande cares not a whit for eating with chopsticks, and all civilizing efforts be damned. He burned them all, and laughed about it.

I had a lot of fun with the lighting effect for this one. I haven't done a whole lot of firelight-from-below illumination schemes. I should do this again sometime.

I made this with watercolor and Prismacolor pencils over an ink drawing.

Assassin Predator could shoot cum at you and it would be like getting blasted by an AK-47

This is from twenty years ago. TWENTY. In 2003. I did the ink drawing that underlies this silly thing over a couple of lunch periods. They were high-stress days, hence the energetic, scribbly nature of the lines. It was cathartic. The colors were done with Prismacolor pencil over watercolor (not at lunch. I tried bringing watercolors to work a couple of times, but it was just too much of a hassle).

Yautja Finds Their S/O making a weapon from a rock they found pretty.

(This was inspired by a YouTube short I came across of a man making a spear tip out of blue glass)

Sitting on the soft pelts your oh so loving mate gave you, you continued chipping away at the large hunk of amethyst your darling had found on a hunt. Looking at the pretty rock you thought, what better way to commemorate the hunt and gift than by making your lover a weapon out of it? Knowing how much they love testing out new armour and equipment you were more than happy to sit and make them a new one. Continuing your intentional chipping at the outline you marked on the precious stone you hear a strong knock on the large metal door beside you. "Come in!" You chirped happily knowing exactly who it is. Before you could finish the door opened and walked through your mate. Curiously looking down on your little project they clicked their mandibles. "What is this my little ooman?" They speak their voice deep and tone curious. Looking away from your project and turning your attention towards them you explain that you're making a new blade for them. "I know that you've been keeping an eye out for a new one so I thought I'd make you one out of this." You pause for a moment holding it up to the sunlight that's peeking its way through the blinds. "Look at the way it gleams In the sun, it's so pretty!" You gush. Still holding it up you notice your mate clasping their fingers around the unfinished blade, closely studying it with a look of pure pride on their face. "Do you like it? The right side still needs to be shaped but it's very sh-." Cutting you off your mate placed the blade down on your work bench before enclosing you in their big burly arms and burying their face into your neck. Mandibles clicking, chirping and speaking in what you assume to be their mother tongue. Loosening their grip on you and coming up to look at you clearly they give you the most adoring look ever. "Love it, I will honour this gift by only using it on my next hunt. I am so very proud of you ooman."

Nothing to long for my first post, I thought I'd keep it short and sweet. I absolutely adore the idea of making your yautja a weapon out of something they gifted you 😭.

so I was being silly and Imaged just this reader who has a lot of scars on them (I also read that Yautja get really attracted to people with a lot of scars as it shows they are strong or something but please correct me if I'm wrong) even a missing finger or limb maybe and reader is tells stories of their scares and how they got it and this got all the yautja's all kicking their feet and blushing (the readers Yautja is overprotective or just worried sometimes) sorry if this is a lot, you don't need to write on this if your not comfortable with it. I am SO sorry this has been sitting in my inbox for so long - I wanted to get to it sooner but things kept getting in the way. I hope this makes up for it! :')

As for yautja being attracted to scars/past injuries, I'm not clear on if that's canon or not, but it definitely makes sense!

They're a warrior race, after all, and scars show you've seen some stuff and survived it (even if it's as mundane as "fell off my bicycle").

Definitely, 100% interested in hearing the stories behind your scars and lasting injuries. They want to know how you got them, what the circumstances were.

If you're missing a finger/limb, I can see the yautja having tech to enhance prosthetics, if you want them. If not, they understand.

Many yautja are in the same situation, given their affinity for hunting dangerous creatures.

It's not at all uncommon to see one missing parts of their body, and a good chunk of them simply never bother with any sort of prosthetics.

Your own mate can sometimes get concerned for your safety when you start talking about them, simply because while they do fall into the cultural standard of finding your scars attractive, they don't really like imagining you injured.

They just get protective over their mate and want you to be okay :')

Imagine laying with them and having them trace along your scars though!!

It's dark, everything is quiet, and they're running a soft hand along the marks you bear.

They're definitely in their head a little bit, sad that you were hurt enough for it to leave a lasting mark, but glad you were strong enough to survive it.

There's a very specific scenario your ask made me think of, and I want you to imagine it with me:

Your mate is an older/elder yautja, or some sort of mentor to the younger ones.

They LOOOOOOVE sitting around and hearing you talk about your scars. Love it.

Imagine a group of youngbloods sitting around like a bunch of schoolkids, intently listening to you talk about how you got them.

(Protip: embellish your story a little bit. Make it seem more dangerous than it was if it was a mundane accident. They'll eat it up. Meanwhile, your yautja is quietly laughing to themselves because they know the truth)
