Link is a Hylian of few words, he wouldn’t dare inconvenience Sidon with his feelings for him. Especially not in the middle of a nationwide disaster. Besides… Sidon is already engaged to someone else.
Sidon is a Zora of too many words, but he wouldn’t dare let Link know his true feelings for him. Besides… it wouldn’t be fair to Link, because Sidon is engaged to someone else.
IF YOU ARE READING MY OTHER SIDLINK COMICS THERE IS NO ORDER IM SORRY IM JUST MAKING THEM UP AS I GO

after a close death encounter, Link simply held Sidon closely, afraid that the moment he lets go, his closest companion would be no more

Summary:
It didn’t matter that his heart was breaking. That the Zora he loved was marrying someone else. That he sat there and watched him get married. Because at the end of the day Link knew he couldn’t allow himself to break. Allow himself to feel.
He had to find Zelda.
And then everything would be fine.
Or:
Link is majorly going through it, but refuses to ask for help. After learning of Zelda’s fate, Link’s journey finally takes its toll on him, and all of Hyrule is forced to come to terms with the burden their hero endures.
Link is Hyrule’s Hero, the knight who never backs down from any challenge, but what happens when the hero they all love is in need of rescuing from himself?
Or; or:
I saw all the shit Link’s been going through on his own, and decided Hyrule wouldn’t stand for it.
This is a SidLink fic, but it’s also pretty heavy on the found family regarding Link, Zelda, the Sages + some others. If that sounds up your alley than hey! Maybe you’ll enjoy this fic.

Since I can't hardly find anything for preggy sidlink, imma need to do it myself.
A couple posts back, I came up with a dramatic thought that Sidon goes into a horny craze and shags Link, on the verge of making him unconscious.
So my current thought is, while Sidon is being apologetic the entire time afterward, Link doesn't seem to get better. Hungry, nervous, but a near constant ache in his body. It's like all of his stamina is being depleted. Sidon fears the worst: he hates him. Lady Yona, care taker of Zora's Domain, opts to help she sees how it's grating on her fiancé.
Idk through Zora-ness, she figured out the situation. She's trying to be there for Sidon's best (boy)friend but Link is just like ??? Because damn, horny spiral ham consequences and someone's going to need to tell Sidon about it. Yona maybe gives him options (and a timeline) and Link is just beside himself. He's caught between wanting keep the little landshark because he loves Sidon and not wanting to hurt Sidon because he already beat himself up over what happened. And that doesn't even touch how it would look politically.
Meanwhile it's been weeks and he's gone from wearing the frostbite set to full cover everywhere. He's spending more time with Yona and she has told Sidon nothing because it would go against Link's wishes if she had. He wanted to be able to say something himself. Sidon is just kicking himself and tries to not hurt when Link turns away when he enters.
I'll come up with more later. I need this

She did all that, for me. She didn't have to, but she did. She loves me so much. She loves me enough to learn that about me. She loves me enough to remake my tunic from hand. She loves me enough to show her love in a way that's close to me. She loves me enough to do all of that instead of doing something closer to her. Zelda loves me.
So why can't I love her back? Why do I have to love Sidon?

This is the first work I’ve done with two characters together. I really enjoyed it and I can’t wait to draw more sidlink!
I also wrote a fanfic on Ao3 based on this drawing (it’s about 6k long, hurt/comfort)

“A Means to an End” a BotW/Totk/AoC Legend of Zelda Fic
Things go differently and Ganondorf has finally figured out a way to end the endless cycle his soul has endured. A way to stop the Goddess who enslaves Hyrule and retains her power.
And all it takes is removing a certain knight from the picture.
OR where Ganondorf is completely and utterly aware of the various timelines and decides the BotW/TotK timeline will be the end of this endless cycle and things will be different this time around.
Rated for Omegaverse Themes, Language and Canon-Typical Violence.
(A/N: I’m using what little I know for this fic because it’s apparently a bit confusing and I don’t really get the timeline stuff. Please just bear with me. Post Breath of the Wild; Age of Calamity.)

One liner prompts: 5 for botw? 💙
//Breathe of the wild yay // 5: "It's not your fault. Sometimes you can do everything right, and things will still go wrong... This just happened to be one of those times." //TW: Graphic description of injury, angst, and grief, character death, suicide.
Sidon doesn't know how long Link's been unconscious for anymore. He stopped counting after the first Blood Moon and there had been several since then, but he hadn't been counting. If he spent too much time counting the days he might miss when Link's eyes finally fluttered open again. If he counted the hours he might miss his chance to apologize for being so foolish. He might miss his chance to plead for forgiveness. The Zora were the best healers in Hyrule, and yet despite how long it had been, those cerulean eyes hadn't opened again, and his breathing hadn't deepened beyond that of a restless sleep. Sidon was beginning to fear they never would. He should have known better. Hylian's may have been more resistant to shock arrows than Zora, but they were still frail and broke easily. Even their Hero. Vah Ruta was a Divine Beast meant to contain and be piloted by a Zora, the Blight inside of it that had taken Mipha from them had to have been powerful. His beloved sister had been gentle, not weak. If it had bested her, what hope had Link really had? Especially without his memories. Sidon shouldn't have pushed him. He should have given him more time to learn who he had been.
Instead Sidon had pressured him into saving them and possibly caused the death of his dearest friend. He sighed quietly, this line of thought wasn't doing him any good. Link was strong, he would recover, he always did. Sidon just needed to wait a little longer, and when he did wake up, because he would, Sidon wouldn't let anything go unsaid. Never again. The door to the infirmary opened, and Sidon didn't need to look up to know it was Bazz who had joined him. He came in every night, to check on Link and to beg Sidon to get some rest. It was how Sidon marked the time. Bazz had visited them well over three hundred times, and Sidon's answer never changed. He would leave Link's side only once he was well again. "Sidon." There was a weight to Bazz's voice that hadn't been present in any of his other visits, and it compelled him to look up, "It is time for you to get some rest. There is nothing more we can do for him, in the morning we will be laying him to rest. Sleep so that you will be ready to say goodbye when it is time."
The weight to Bazz's voice was grief, he knew because it crashed over him like a wave of cold water. Link was dead, for real this time, and it had been Sidon's arrogance that killed him. This should have been the obvious outcome. Link's body had been so battered and broken when he'd been released from Vah Ruta. It had been the smell of his blood in the water that had alerted Sidon to something being wrong. When he'd gotten him to the dock he knew something was wrong. Some of his his limbs had been bent wrong, and his head rested at an angle that didn't seem natural for a Hylian. He hadn't been breathing; and at the time Sidon had assumed it was because he was unconscious. He knew better now.
"It's not your fault." Bazz's voice cut across an awful, ragged gasping sound, that Sidon realized was his sobbing before he collected himself. Crying in the presence of a guard was rather undignified. Bazz paid it no mind as he continued, "Sometimes you can do everything right, and things will still go wrong... This just happened to be one of those times." Bazz was being do dismissive of this, and for a moment Sidon was enraged. Until he realized Bazz was barely holding it together as it was, this was hurting him too, but he was keeping his pride in tact unlike Sidon. "I would rather stay here, if you don't mind." His voice was dull and hollow, "Please." Bazz looked like he wanted to argue for a moment, beg even, but he must have seen something in his eyes that made him decide otherwise, "As you wish." He said instead and retreated from the room.
Sidon looked down at Link again and let himself break. "I'm sorry." He sobbed, "I'm sorry i did this to you. I'm sorry I pressured you into saving us. I'm sorry.... I love you, please don't leave.... please Link." There was no response, and there never would be. Prince Sidon of the Zora had caused the death of the Hero of Hyrule. In the empty infirmary under a blood red moon, he turned his sword on himself. A world without Link wasn't one he wanted to be a part of.

Excerpt: I’ll Be Home Soon
It wasn’t unusual for Link to be away from the Domain for weeks at a time. He was, after all, still the Champion of Hyrule and personal knight of the Princess who, now that the Calamity had been defeated, was tasked with rebuilding her broken kingdom. Sidon understood duty, he understood it as deeply as he understood the currents of the Zora River or the weight of a spear on his back. And beyond that, Link was never one to stay in a single place for long. Link’s was a restless spirit that Sidon had always admired and quietly envied as he free to act on his whims with little tying him down.
Sidon didn’t wish to be the rope that weighed Link to a specific place, he detested the thought, but one afternoon as Sidon let the anchor drop from his lips before he could stop it.
“I’ll await your return home, my friend.”
His face flushed blue, and his hands raised in an effort to physically wipe away the words in the air, but Link simply smiled that smile that the prince knew in his heart of hearts was for him alone and nodded.
Sidon had always wished for the Domain to feel like home for anyone who travelled there, but especially for Link as a gift for all he’d sacrificed to save the Zora people, his people and before anyone could say otherwise, the Domain had become Link’s home—even just by how much time he spent there.
What had begun as a mistake, quietly became truth though neither of them said it, and each time Link would leave, he made sure Sidon knew he would always come back eventually.
The last time had been no different. They’d swum to where the Zora River met the Lanayru Wetlands so Link could fetch his horse and be on his way.
“Zelda wants to search the passages under the castle,” He had said to him, “She’s really excited, too, thinks there’s something that could help us understand more about Sheikah tech. I’m just there to chase off the keese when she gets too focused.”
“The poor keese under the castle are no match for you and your mighty blade, my friend.” Sidon chuckled as Link shoved his arm. “Nevertheless, I wish you safe travels and a fruitful research endeavor. Do give Zelda my regards and tell her my father’s been asking after her. And know that, as always, I believe in you!” Now Link laughed, shoving his pumped arm playfully.
“I’ll be home soon.” He signed, and Sidon’s smile softened.
“I will see you then, my friend.”
Six months has passed since they parted ways.
Six months since the hero and the princess were declared missing.
Six months of political tensions growing between normally peaceful Domains.
And Sidon nor the King of the Zora himself could put it off any longer.

Delusional, aren’t you, Love?
Ship: Sidlink
Tw: Yandere, kidnapping, drugging an arrow, gagging, torture.
Summary: Link blames himself for the death of somebody he cared about. Several years later, he falls in love with Sidon, The sibling of his ex-fiancé, and in delusion, takes the young prince, out of fear of losing him.
Requested by @butter-and-too-much-bread
————————————————————————————————————————
Sidon used to think that Hylians were reasonable, intelligent people. Of course, there were moments where he believed Hylia purposely added the stubbornness at his expense, and the Zora often wondered if stubborn Hylians used their brain because they usually, act before they think. Link, his good friend, was proof of the stubborn, didn’t use the brain type of Hylian. He didn’t mind though. He thought these were wonderful Hylian traits.
There was an rare trait, a lesser… known trait of Hylians, one he never knew about, until after Mipha’s death, after Mipha’s Divine Beast Vah Ruta was taken back by Link.
Hylians were… Delusional.
They were wrapped up in fantasies that could, or rather… should, never occur…
It never dawned on Sidon until he was kidnapped one day.
Sidon remembered he was swimming up a waterfall. He landed on dry land and was about to go back down, when an arrow hit his neck.
He could not find the attacker, however after two minutes of searching, Sidon started to feel weak. His vision blurred and his coordination was off. The more minutes went by, the more Sidon started to feel in pain, as he could barely stand. After 10 minutes of fighting it, and trying to make it back to Zora’s domain, he collapsed, darkness taking him as he blacked out.
—————————————————————————
He awoke some time later. Sidon’s eyes were opening, and slowly but surely, his vision returned to him. He realized, he had been kidnapped. This place was a cabin from the inside look. He tried to move but the sound of chains rattled as he struggled.
He may not have known where he was, but he knew one thing; he was nowhere near the Domain.
Sidon froze as he heard the door unlock, heart pounding in his chest.
The kidnapper had come to finish Sidon off.
He closed his eyes in fear, as he heard the door swing open. Sidon heard the door closing, and being locked from the inside. Footsteps were heard walking over to Sidon but then… the sound stopped.
Sidon was nervous, why did the sound stop? It made him nervous great ambivalence, he opened his eyes to see… Link?!
No… No. No! This Had to be a cruel trick of the Yiga Clan. Or this was a very bad dream. It had to be.
“Link?! What’s going on? Why am I tied up?” Sidon asked. Link didn’t answer. Link looked at Sidon with awe. He smiled gently at Sidon before caressing his hand across Sidon’s cheek. Sidon gulped. “Link, look, I don’t-” Sidon was interrupted by Link kissing him.
Sidon glared daggers. He would’ve thought this was a Yiga clan soldier, pulling his leg. Now, here’s the thing: he would recognize a clone from his dear friend, Link, but he was not going to tolerate this from anybody, not even a close friend.
If he was going to be kissed by someone, it was going to be consensual, Goddess dammit.
Sidon bit Link’s lip, which caused the Hylian to stop. Link winced in pain. He seemed annoyed by Sidon’s actions, letting out a sigh that sounded almost… almost as if Sidon, was acting unreasonable.
“Link, this… t-this isn’t right.” Sidon protested as Link walked towards his bag and opened it.
Link reached into his bag and pulled out… a gag? Sidon froze as it was put on him. He screamed but it was stifled. A soft fabric was wrapped around Sidon’s eyes.
“Sidon… you are way too precious for this world. I may have failed to protect Mipha, but I, will not… be led astray… not if it means protecting you.” He said. Link walked over to the chained up Zora with an expression of desire. Not that Sidon could see it.
Sidon felt a searing pain enter his body. He let out a scream that, if not for the gag halting the scream from being heard, would definitely been bloodcurdling to listen to.
An electric arrow was piercing his skin. He felt shaken by fear and in pain. Tears fell down his face. The metal chains made the electric arrow so much worse, as they acted as a conductor for the arrow; he was in agony and he wanted it to end.
He wanted it to stop but…
Something in his gut told him it would not stop, not until Link was done with his ‘precious’ Sidon.
Sidon cried through the ball-like gag. There was a piece of him, that was hoping that Link would snap back to his senses, and let Sidon return home.
His hope died out as quickly as it had formed.
The pain did cease, but only for a short minute or two, Sidon then felt a sharp pain. It felt cold, and harsh. It was an ice arrow.
The cold made him shiver. It hurt how deep it cut. It hurt so badly, it made the prince unwell. Physically. Emotionally.
The pain became too much; Sidon couldn’t stay awake anymore. He passed out.
————————————————————————
Sidon woke up in a state of pain.
He was in agony but he wasn’t chained to a chair. He was in a bed. A long blanket draped over him, it was soft and pleasant.
He looked over his shoulder and froze; the young prince’s eyes widening, not fearful, but rather, he felt taken aback.
Link was next to him. Sidon couldn’t tell what was worse, Link clinging onto him, a grasp firm or… Link shaking.
Wait.
Link was… shaking. Was he cold? Was he sick?
He quickly learned by gazing over at the Hylian that… it was him crying.
“I’m sorry… S-Sidon… I’m so sorry. I hurt you, and I could’ve lost you. I messed up…” Link said, sobbing. His eyes were red from crying. Tears fell down his face like the rain dropped down from the sky did. His cheeks as red as the roses of Hyrule. His body shook with worry and dismay.
He wanted to move closer but then, he saw the chain around his neck. He was unable to notice that the chain around his neck was embedded with several topazes. These would cause the chain to shock Sidon if he tampered with it.
Sidon looked at Link. He wanted to scream at Link, to roar at him with rage but... he knew he might get tortured again. Not wanting to be electrocuted by another electric arrow, Sidon, with very great reluctance, held Link close.
It would hurt, but when you are in love, doesn’t involve a bit of delusion?
————————————————————————
When Sidon was younger, he thought that Hylians were reasonable, intelligent and stubborn people.
Sidon, however learned that sometimes, there were Hylians… whom wanted something that they knew Hylia would never, ever provide them, so they themselves fell in misbelief and try to make their beliefs reality.
And sometimes…
It was better to feed in that delusion.

On god I had a thought
I have no idea how sharks fuck but I do know how geese fuck. So when he's fuck specifically, the male gets on top and tries to drown the female. I had a terrible idea
Sidon gets ina horny craze and poor link is right there. Sidon has his way with Link in shallow waters and when he comes to, Link is dazed and spitting up water.
(then Sidon is all apologetic and does everything he can to apologize because he knows if he hadn't come, Link very well may have ended up dead
