⤷ Ritsu, whose kisses are so whiny and and slow that you almost giggle. He sighs into your mouth and pulls you closer, silently claiming you as his own and asking you to never, ever leave him. His lips press against your own until neither of you can breathe, and even then, he pouts once you separate.
⤷ Keito, who kisses you without even noticing. It’s become something so natural and regular that it hardly requires any thinking, and before he knows it, he’s leaning forward, and tilting your chin to kiss you. He didn’t realize something like this could be so simple. And he’s perfectly okay with that.
⤷ Adonis, who asks before every kiss. Boyishly, innocently, he whispers for permission to steal a kiss, and you’ve never known a sweeter man. He’s so considerate that your heart squeezes in your chest. He knows he can kiss you whenever, but nothing beats the smile on your face whenever he inquires.

eichi had entrusted you to plan this year's new year party and you did a wonderful job. bringing all of the idols together. everyone had smiles on their faces, happy to meet and interact with the other idols.
" yo! " rei greets you as he slings an arm around you, ignoring the close proximity and the other eyes watching you both.
" hey, enjoying the party? " you reply as he smiles, showing off his fangs in his smile.
" of course, I can see ritsu and my other dear friends. you even drag shu over to the party, wonder what you did to convince him to come? fufufu, well despite all that I'm glad to see everyone. natsume must be as happy as I am, hm? to be able to see all of his eccentric bros together. so thank you for doing that. " rei pats your head. he wasn't oblivious to your one-sided crush on the red magician. he was the first you told of and eichi being the second ( bcs that blonde gossips with ritsu and hajime and you're part of the tea club )
before you can reply, you feel someone pushing rei's hand away from your head to replace his with his own.
" thanks for the wonderful night, y/n! it was surely pleasant seeing everyone here. thank you for your hardwork, " it was eichi. rei couldn't help but glare at the blonde but shook it off quickly. its was supposed to be a joyous night.
" um, it was no problem at all! convincing shu wasn't much of a struggle. how can one say no to home-made croissants? hahaha... " you laugh awkwardly, remembering shu rejecting the offer before sighing and taking the baked goods from you, saying he'll be there for only two minutes but he stayed longer when other people started talking to him aka kuro and nazuna.
" hey got a minute? " someone spoke from behind you, eichi and rei. making the trio turn around to see natsume pouting lightly.
both eichi and rei gave each other the knowing nod before shoving you to natsume. you stumbled, but natsume was quick to grab you by the arm, helping you steady yourself.
you mumbled a " sorry " as you glared at the two and the two excused themselves and left the scene. leaving you and natsume alone.
" so... what is it, natsume? " you called out as he let's go of your arm and hugs you, squeezing you tightly before letting go.
" I love you, thank you for bringing everyone together. Happy New year, y/n. "
your head was spinning, heart beating so fast. he just said he loves you! what a way to start the new year.
" I love you too, natsume. "

after the new year party and back to normal school life. the tea club occasionally brings up natsume in the conversation, curious about what your love life is like and of course to tease you.

who would the minions serve in the ensemble stars universe
the ensemble stars x minions analysis that nobody asked for, under the cut
okay so minions want to serve the most powerful (and evil) guy in the area/time they're in
if they enrolled at yumenosaki prior to the ! era they'd have been looking for a master and might've even worked under shu/valkyrie, who was the top unit at that time
"Imagining shu leading the fucking minions is horrifying"

nazuna and mika are very confused
actually mika would like them i think
but when the first revolution/war began, the minions would've caught sight of exfine and eichi
as exfine rose through the ranks and defeated the eccentrics eichi became immensely famous, and i think at least a third of the minions would serve him just because of this
eichi is easily entertained by them
they piss off keito
hiyori is very biased and can tell each minion apart
he names them things like Flowery One and Revolting One
nagisa does not understand what a minion is
tsumugi can fucking communicate in minionese
that's part of the reason natsume hates him so much. he can understand them and talk to them and it's horrifying
if the minions were to see eichi's actual plans on the surface level, that would be enough for them to see as evil
there's also the possibility that some minions might see eichi as "good" and exfine as heroes so they'd turn to serve the eccentrics instead
the minions don't harass rei because he scares them
they think he'd eat them
natsume does not like these little freaks
kanata has fun with them because i'm pretty sure they can't drown
if they can. well rip
chiaki hypes them up :)
but as far as i've seen in the minions franchise they prefer more powerful figures, and the eccentrics at that time were ostracized
and during the ! era trickstar revolution, eichi is definitely more of a villain character so the minions would attempt to help him
and then accidentally screw him over

*ೃ༄ Shu Itsuki and Nazuna Nito comforting their s/o after a nightmare
⤷ When you woke from your slumber in a cold sweat, tears threatening to cascade down your cheeks, chest heaving as though you’d just finished a marathon — Shu was immediately worried, quickly making his way over to the side of your bed. With furrowed brows, he placed a hand on your forehead, asking if you were alright as calmly as possible.
⤷ Clearly, you were not. Even if you had said otherwise, Shu wouldn’t have believed you. If it was sickness that you felt, he wanted to catch it as soon as possible to prevent it from progressing any further. But, it hadn’t been that. If anything, you might’ve preferred being sick over the terror you had just experienced within your own unconscious mind.
⤷ Shu caught on fairly quick, sucking his teeth and sliding into the bed with you — if it was comfort you had needed, it was comfort you would receive. Despite how he may have seemed at surface level, Shu cared deeply about your feelings and wellbeing, and didn’t want you to deal with the aftermath of a nightmare on your own.
⤷ He didn’t ask you to describe what had happened within the nightmare, assuming you wouldn’t want to relive such a sour experience, especially not directly after it had happened. Instead, he pulled you close, brushing stray hairs from your sweat-sheened forehead, and placed a gentle kiss upon your temple.
⤷ Shu had never been one to be any good at comforting others — but when it came to you, it all happened so naturally. He held you up against his chest, sighing contently. Shu didn’t expect to be able to erase everything that had just happened to you, but he would do his best to make you feel better, and to remind you that he was there.
⤷ Nazuna was already concerned when you seemed to twitch and groan in your sleep — even more so when you woke up with a gasp, trembling as you gripped the blanket wrapped around you. He understood immediately, cupping your cheeks in his hands and wiping away any stray tears that had escaped in your terror.
⤷ The last thing he wanted to do was overwhelm you, knowing that you probably already felt shaken and startled as it was. Nazuna had suffered his fair share of nightmares, so he knew precisely how you were feeling. With steady hands and a soft look on his face, he slowly pulled you into a hug, allowing you to cling to him however tightly you needed. No matter how long he needed to hold you like that, he would.
⤷ He was ready to listen if you needed to talk about it, and he was also ready to just hold you in silence. Nazuna’s main goal has always been to make you feel safe and wanted, and right now you needed to know and feel those things more than ever. It didn’t matter if it was the middle of the night, and it didn’t matter if you’d both be exhausted in the morning.
⤷ As you relaxed in his hold, Nazuna too felt more at ease. Your pain was his pain, and if you felt better — he felt better as well. He continued to whisper sweet nothings into your ear, letting you know how it was okay now, and that there was nothing to be afraid of. Nothing scary could reach you within his embrace, after all.
⤷ Nazuna kissed your tears away, rocking you back and forth and squeezing you gently, yet firmly — reminding you that he was there. Even if the nightmares dared to come back, Nazuna would be right there behind them, ready to embrace and comfort you with open arms.

Now I'll try to explain what even the hell happened,,,
(putting under cut because its gonna be LONG)
It all started with laly wondering if enstars fandom would exist in enstars world. I was like "yeah kinda like with k-pop" and we started thinking about who in es would write/read fics of what. Doesn't affect the dorms change just yet but i need to share these hcs:
- Kohaku knows everything about ships (because Aira dragged him in the enstars fandom hellhole) and once accidentally sent HiMERU a HiMERU x Tatsumi fanart instead of a document for work
- Mika reads ALL the Shumika fics
- Aira anonymously writes Hiiro/Kohaku x Reader fics except the reader is actually him because he doesn't have the guts to write actual KoHiiAi. Kohaku once recognize Aira writing style in a fic and ask him about it and Aira is immediately like "noooOOOO I DON'T SEE WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT AT ALL"
- Leo hears about Izuleo at one point so he decides to check it out and read fics. And he creates himself an account to write Izuleo fics (that are more like poems-musical writing or something). And now he's trying his best to keep Izumi away from fics because he WILL recognize Leo's style. But the rest of knights ends up learning about Leo's fics and now they use it to blackmail him
- Aira also write Tatsumayo btw
- And now the hc that provokes the dorm changes...Aira also wrote like 3 Rei x Eichi enemies to lovers fics. Rei found it and he knows it has to be Aira because the situations described are way too accurate so it has to be their roommate
Aira: I don't feel safe in my dorm anymore...
Anzu: Why?
Rei, who read entirely the Rei x Eichi smut Aira wrote: ......
Rei spent a week just staring menacingly at him
Koga finds the fic and suddenly everyone in ES has read it (they dont know its Aira who wrote it though)
So Aira, fearing for his life, decides to switch dorms. He first ends up in Hiiro's, with Hinata and Niki
Meanwhile Rei and Eichi are left alone
They stare awkwardly at each other for two days then try to murder each other in their sleep
Eichi ends up paying ES to be in Wataru's dorm (and Rei to not be in Ritsu's)
Mama get kicked out of Wataru's dorm because 5 people is too much, so Leo ends up taking him in his dorm
Suddenly Tori (and Yuzuru) kicked out Subaru and Sora from Wataei's dorm. Now all of fine shares a dorm
Since everyone are changing dorms and its hell and ES doesnt know what to do anymore Hiyori takes action and switches to Jun's (and Kohaku's) dorm. Kohaku, refusing to third-wheel them, joins Hiiai in their dorm, but before he can Tsukasa kidnaps him a second time so he goes to autistic dorm instead
Hiyori starts trying to pay ES so Eichi isn't in Wataru's dorm. But Eichi pay ES too. ES will never have financial problems again
Anyway so yeah at this point ES gives up on keeping order in the dorms and now everyone can go sleep wherever the fuck they want
So HiMERU break in Tatsumi's dorm to kill him scare him
Now Tatsumi decided he was safer in Mayoi's dorm
Koga: Great I have a dorm all for myself and Leon now!
Rei: *enters chat*
Koga: DARN IT
(Rei and Koga shares a dorm now)
One day, Midori look at Kaoru and Yuta, visibly fucking exhausted from this situation
(Midori got kicked out of Ibara's dorm by Nagisa)
Izumi regularly tries to get in Makoto's dorm
Ritsu use this occasion to take his place in Mao's dorm
(Mao: Wait but this is Izumi's bed-
Ritsu: Nope. Not anymore. It's mine now. I live here now.
Pov: Ritsu actually doesn't even use Izumi's bed he sleeps with Mao)
But Makoto won't let Izumi in (and he got Chiaki and Adonis to protect him) so now he's homeless
Izumi: *homeless*
Leo: Hi
Izumi: Nope
Leo: *stay there*
Izumi, who just tried to get in any dorm without success because of his kidnapper reputation: Hey Leo can i stay at your dorm a little
Natsume takes his chance and goes to Sora's and Subaru's dorm
Shu stare at Mao and Ritsu sleeping together, stare at Kuro, and goes: Let's get in Mika's dorm already
Mika is happiest man alive
Kuro: Damn now I'm left alone to third wheel these two *looks at Keito*
Kuro joins Keito's dorm
Souma propose they switch room so Akatsuki is complete and Hokuto just doesn't give a shit about it so he accept (Hokuto just doesn't care anymore at this point)
Mayoi took Shinobu in his room
Tatsumi isn't sure how much Shinobu agreed to come but now he's here he seem okay with it
Hajime is now chilling with Akatsuki, while Tomoya decides to ignore the chaos as there's suddenly two more people in the dorm he shares with Mayoi
Kanata goes in Chiaki's dorm and Rinne's like "now i'm alone :/"
Suddenly Hinata get kicked out and forcefully thrown in his brother's dorm (Rinne be like: Brother + Bf + Gf of brother? Yeah that's my dorm)
Aira convinces Hiiro to take one of the new empty dorms because he SWEARS to god if he's called "Hiiro's little gf" ONE MORE FUCKING TIME-
So now Rinniki are left alone
Rinne is happy
Niki is not (begged Aira to not leave him alone with that man)
Now Niki begs HiMERU to move in their dorm but each time he's straight up "No."
Also Kohaku cutely moves to Hiiai dorm so the poly babies are complete. Except Tsukasa follows him. Oh well
Niki runs aways from Rinne and joins Hokuto
But Rinne joins them anyway afterwards
Niki: At least I'm not alone anymore
Hokuto: *dead inside at this point*
Hokuto decide to go in a room ALL ALONE and to pay ES so he has peace. Now only Trickstar is allowed to come in his dorm but they don't stay Hokuto force them to get out
And. That's it. This is very messy and probably complicated to understand so all you need to know is congrats to gender dorm for being the only og dorm surviving! You're too perfect to be changed

This is not as much a translation note (those are below) as it is me pointing out that I've noticed a lot of the things Mika says in these lyrics are very heavily reminiscent of things Nazuna also says during ExValk days. Mika himself has even admitted that he used his nii-chan as a reference in Acanthe, so I would like to believe this is very intentional.

(1). There are a lot of 'everyone knows this' moments I'm pointing out, but either way, the 'amber' and 'lapis' here are referring to his eyes, same as in the lyrics. I also chose to translate the title as "Rondo in Amber and Lapis' b/c most classical songs are titled "Rondo in X Key" and it just sounds better to me that way.
(2). Another 'probably obvious' moment as I've seen it get pointed out before, but it also took me a little while to realize this entire line is a play on words involving Mika's own name.
三日月 "mi-ka-d(z)u-ki"
欠けた影の一片を "ka-ke-ta ka-ge no hi-to-hi-ra"
plus, the 'kage' and 'hira' use the same kanji as his name does.
There isn't a really good way for this to translate it into english while keeping the meaning of the lines, but I wanted to really try my best b/c I'm stubborn, which is why the line might sound a bit odd. (I'm hoping not, but...)
However, while english has a lot more syllables and sounds for things than jp does, I did manage to get something to work.
The moon above me calls my shadow night (mi:- kɑ:)
One a replica gave here upon the light (kə: - ɡeɪ: -hɪr: əˈpɑː)
Translated more literally, the original line is something like "a piece of the waning crescent moon's broken shadow" so I was trying to match the phonetics while keeping it in line with the moon and shadow imagery, as well as Mika inferring that this is what made up his body as he was given a human form.
(3). This is another very important not for the whole song, but the line here more literally translated has Mika singing something like "my only wish is to sing/be able to sing / a rondo that forms a perfect loop"
Rondo form in music is typically characterized as a main theme or refrain of sorts (I'm using that term b/c it rhymes, I dunno if its supposed to be called that lol) alternating contrasting episodes. A typical rondo is in ABABA formation or variations of. This is likely what he means in the lyrics; he wishes to be able to sing his song until the end, so it can meet back at the beginning again like a proper rondo.
Another note like in Shu's song, a rondo can also be both a music form and a dance, and looking it up, the closest thing I see it coming out to is a ring or circle dance, which seems pretty similar to square dancing in the US. It refers to a pretty broad genre so its hard to pin down exactly what people might be saying when referring to it, but an interesting note is that a waltz can be considered a round dance, round/circle dancing is more associated with communal and folk dancing than typical waltzes.
This likely has rather little bearing on the song in general, but I didn't spend an inordinate amount of time on Wikipedia and other sites to not put something down.
And the final note that is far more relevant to the composition, is about the end. I have to preface this saying that i am not an expert on musical theory, nor am I wholly confident in saying this, so take it as you will.
That being said, I've been listening to the song and melody left and right, and if you recall what I said before about rondo structure, its typically at its simplest, ABABA? There of course can be many variations, but I don't think Mika's song ever finally loops back.
He very well might be singing an incomplete rondo, which makes his line right before it about asking that he's able to finish his song before he burns away....
I certainly feel an emotion, and it isn't good.
These lyrics are not a word for word translation, and are an adaptation of the original song's message, made to (pretty much) fit in with the original vocals. It's my interpretation, but I wanted to keep the meaning close to what it was in Jp while coming across as what one would write in an En song.
