Yeah and since this doesnt only involve writers but also other production stuff, i wonder how theyre gonna start filming in may or june? Bec that would also be breaking the strike too... like idk how they are going to work around that. But anyway. My estimation is that the strike will at least take 3-4 months at the very least. So like. Yeah. 2025 release seems more likely bc the strike also involves other production staff
i can't lie to you i don't know shit about how american strikes in the entertainment industry work and i was a baby (6) and not american in 2007 but i mean yeah that season 5 is never seeing the light of day i fear

I once read a book where a character who had just one of everything - one fork, one plate, etc. - because he considered more than that just pointless stuff he'd eventually have to move told another that she made him want to have two plates, and that might be the most Dick and Donna vibes I've ever gotten out of anything not actually about Dick and Donna.
Well now I'm thinking about Dick buying two mugs and keeping one for himself and giving the other to Donna as a gift, but Dick's mug eventually burns along with the rest of Dick's apartment during the Blockbuster fiasco, so then after Donna dies and there's a funeral reception at her apartment, Dick finds the twin mug in Donna's kitchen, and he takes it up to the roof with him and cries.

Hey y'all, weird question time again! I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this one, but asking anyway:
If you are having severe muscle cramps/knots/tension all over your body and go to a doctor/urgent care/hospital for them, assuming the doctor believes it's something that needs treatment, the only things they can give you are anti-inflammatories, pain relief, muscle relaxers, or like an IV to rehydrate you if it turns out to be caused by dehydration, right?
I know those are three very broad categories of treatment, I'm not asking for specifics within those categories, just if there are options outside of them
(I am allergic to NSAIDs, already on corticosteroids for unrelated reasons, probably shouldn't have muscle relaxers or stronger pain meds for "my blood pressure looks for any excuse to crash" reasons, and am staying on top of hydration and electrolytes, but this round of muscle cramps is bad, even for me)

to be real for a second, i think there is a moment in the show where mike has a ~realization~ of sorts about his feelings but hasn't quite put two and two together yet.... and it's this:
this realization of "hey my feelings for will are actually maybe different than my feelings for my other friends, but i'm not sure why" happens at the end of season two. and then mike spends the entirety of season three acting sort of strange and different around will while having his relationship with him constantly juxtaposed with his relationship with el. reaching the end of that season which, despite all the supernatural shit going on, took the time to focus so heavily on those two relationships (and how fundamentally different they are), and having mike have the same realization he had at the end of season two makes no sense because it would mean he accomplished absolutely nothing in his emotional arc during the course season three
especially to claim that he still believes he has feelings for el going into season 4. especially to claim he still believes he has feelings for el by the end of season 4. it's to claim that he has not made any emotional progress in his relationships for at least two full seasons, that he's been going through all of this for it to not have made any conscious impact on him, and the changes in the way he acts from s2-3 and from s3-4 aren't a product of his character developing (growing, changing, to quote hopper's letter) but rather..... ? i don't know actually. just him feeling weird but not understanding himself at all. still. it just doesn't make sense to me. he's one of the main characters of the show, and to keep him emotionally stagnant for 4 out of 5 seasons (especially when we can see that his behavior is changing, that he has not been stagnant at all but rather deeply affected by everything) would be a disservice to his character, first of all, but also a disservice to the narrative which has been showing us his (as well as the other characters') struggle with growing up and growing into himself every season. and it simply doesn't align with what we're being shown
mike is already having realizations by the end of season two. but by the end of season three, he's starting to be really honest with himself about what they mean

i'm going to say something and it's not going to be nice.
if you're weaponizing techno's death to bash his friends, you should be ashamed.
this? absolutely disgusting.
people like phil and tommy, who are being criticized by the op and others in the replies, were techno's friends. they knew him and loved him and you're going to make his death about the lack of lore? i'm sorry, that's not okay.
i know there was so much techno wanted to do and it's a fucking tragedy that he wasn't able to. but using that to shame his friends is such a low blow. this isn't parasocial, it's a horrific lack of empathy for real people who lost one of their closest friends and you're doing it over what. minecraft rp?
you have no right to speculate on what happened and assign blame to his friends. i'm appalled right now.

wait hold on the fact that the gummies I take aren't illegal. like you can just buy them from a store. but can be the reason for not getting a job doesn't make any fucking sense. it would be like if they did a urine test and saw that you've eaten dark chocolate recently and you couldn't have the job. you're fired for taking tylenol 3 days ago. like what the fuck do you mean ingesting a completely legal substance in my free time is a problem. why is it any of your fucking business. they give people smoke breaks. what are you talking about.

im kind of a mom against weed i dont think its good for your mental health i think thats a big cope. getting so high you're dissociating through and emotionally numbing yourself isn't treating your mental illness, its abusing drugs. nobody says this about alcohol curing their depression even though it's used in the same way to cope and has (overall ) the same negative effects

The sign ep 10 was today and it is still one of my favorite series to watch right now. It keeps building up and up.
This episode was packed with more investigations, so our team of police officers can finally find a way to arrest Montree. Of course, nothing really happens like they want it, otherwise we would have nothing to watch next week. I was glad the inspector isn't truly a bad guy working for Montree, but instead he is also trying to apprehend him to avenge his older brother. I still don't understand why he couldn't trust Tharn, but let's admit he had good reasons.
At the same time, Phaya (who now know everything about his past lives with Tharn) must protect his lover from Dr. Chalothon. Thankfully, he has still not shown his face since he tried to kill Phaya, last episode (but for how long? He won't stop right now). However, Phaya and the Abbot think it is better to keep the secret of his real identity from Tharn. He is already so worked up about making sure Montree will be behind bars, it may be for the best.
Fortunately, we had some fun and cute moments thanks to all the secondary characters. It's a good thing because the angst can be quite heavy sometimes. Yai is still everyone's favorite (and if it's not, I don't understand how it is possible). Khem also had his moments.
I love this series! Next episode seems so promising with this new "enemy", the Tiger-man. I want to know if it's another deity or it's just an alias for a new/old bad guy. It also seems like Phaya will tell the truth to Tharn about Chalothon and I want to know how he will react.
