I Ship It
1. What made you ship it?
they literally COULD NOT have written a better love interest for ben sisko, and they put them together so thoughtfully. jake sets them up -- after a build-up where we see jake turning into a young man thinking about his future and really wanting his dad to have someone. i love that she's a freighter captain, a type of person in the ds9 universe who we have never really gotten to know, and essentially a grounding element -- she's a civilian living her own life who is (at first) totally uninvolved in the a-plot. and she knows about baseball!! the sheer joy i felt watching her walk in in her second appearance in "the way of the warrior" and they're already together and falling in love...
i couldn't find a great two shot of them so look at these caps from the "don't get killed" moment in the way of the warrior........ ROMANCEEEE
2. What are your favorite things about the ship?
it's such a good relationship!!!! they're mature, open, respectful, demonstrative, sexy... every beat is so potent and it expands into episodes she's not even in. i love her, i love her for him, i love him for her, and i LOVE her relationship with jake. their love stories are both heavy and light ("it's a big step") but there's never a flippancy to their relationship ever. and hooooooly shit. for the cause. i remember my dad showing me the last scene of casablanca like "this is the end scene of all time" but have you seen the last scene of for the cause.
genuinely i think this would be THE undisputed together-on-screen-in-canon star trek relationship of all time if it weren't for the fact that kasidy is a guest star and, while she has a rich implied life and does develop and grow, we never get the full main character treatment with her like we do with riker/troi and paul/hugh (and michael/book because book is also a guest star but he's a driving force of the a-plot of a whole season).
3. Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?
i think most people probably agree with me tbh that it's an incredible ship that's electric on-screen and underrepresented in fanworks. i don't know if people agree that the last part of their arc was the weakest part because it was rushed (that engagement scene was so sweet though!! it's your house i want it to be our house!!), and i don't really like unplanned pregnancy as a trope (planned pregnancy? yes please!). like yes, her entire presence in the series has always been to serve his emotional story, but this felt different. until that point, her life between episodes was mostly implied until it intersected with the plot, but it was important to her and believable. in the final chapter it vanished completely, and i can't remember if she ever made that an intentional choice (or, if she did, if that choice was given enough weight).

GIRLESTAPPEN 💕💕🩷💖💖 ok. who makes the first move? are they the only girls and gays on the grid or are there more... what do they wear in the paddock? if there is girl charles is there girl chiss [gets dragged off stage]
girlestappen eventually cringefail their way into a relationship by doing what they do best: being weird about each other and ignoring the obvious tension between them until they can't anymore! i think in a traditional f1 au max is out and idgaf about her sexuality and charles is, on the cusp of realizing that she's a lesbian and DOESN'T actually fuck with men like that. she just hasn't put two-and-two together quite yet.
but basically, charles rocks up to the paddock in 2018 and is hit with the girl she grew up karting against being a terror on the track to all these men, beating them in many cases, and also looking... hot? (little dotted circle swirling in charles' brain) and she doesn't really know how to cope so she goes with what she knows: repressing the feelings and being incredibly normal (not normal) about it. for a long time.

when they finally get together, lando is their strange little guy friend who follows them around and is like ALLY but also half his jpg account is just. inexplicably. photos of them like, kissing at the club. everyone thinks it's weird but no one mentions it.
if max somehow wasn't out before getting to f1 she probably came out in a [waves hand] unintentionally dramatic way. like she made a gay joke, got cancelled on the internet for it, and then her statement was: I Am Actually Gay.
charles has her world turned upside down and inside out when she properly finds out max likes girls for the first time. it weighs on her so heavily she spirals and sleeps with [waves hand again] pierre or carlos or someone and it's terrible and max is completely oblivious to the fact that charles is #goingthroughit.
girlestappen are still butch4femme. they always will be to ME.
all those bizarre interviews with like, lewis and seb saying strange things about grid girls and girlfriends to max and charles in 2018/2019 still happen, but there's an added layer of what the fuck did he just say? the youtube comments are either: wow, they're so woke for asking max about liking girls on a public broadcast OR i can't believe seb actually said that about grid girls with charles sitting right there. does he hate women?
everyone should send a prayer out into the world for carlos sainz, who has had [checks notes] both of his girl teammates come out as lesbians. this begs the question: is it him? is he that bad? the italian press run articles on it weekly.
wherever charles goes, chiss will follow. obviously.

Uhh, yessss, I'm very happy to talk more about BoJance!! And yes, obviously I do know why 😂 (sorry for taking so long to answer tho!)
27. Craziest place they had sex?
Since they are three guys, there are a lot of places they have had sex (the studio, the laundry room in their apartment basement pffppfpfpfpf), but I think I'd split it, cause there are varying levels of craziness.
So, BoNace: the gym.
BoJan: a cinema bathroom
Jance: St. Luke's backstage area
And for all three of them together: Kris's flat (don't tell him tho, he'll go crazy). Might not be the most risky or public, but definitely the craziest for them.
29. First date? (Give as much or as little detail)
They spend a lot of time together, even before becoming their power throuple, so it's really gradual, but as soon as they cleared the air and officially started dating, they had a nice little date in a sushi steak club. (I won't tell you where, cause that would be spoilers, but it's probably not where you expect it to be pfpffppf)
36. Who's the more protective?
Ngl, I think they are all very protective, but in different types. If we take it very literal and it's about a situation, then I think Bojan would probably be the first to throw fists if someone said something stupid to either Jan or Nace (especially since he probably wouldn't get taken seriously, cause he do be tiny), but Nace would immediately try to be a mediator (and make absolutely sarcastic and cunty remarks dressed in nice words), while Jan just stares unnervingly without blinking.
But in general, I think Jan might be the most protective one out of the three, cause he manages their socials most of the time and reads all the stuff ppl say about them. And as we know, there are a lot of things being said that are just unnecessarily mean and hurtful even if they are meant as a "joke", especially towards Bojan. So I think he would definitely would try to keep that from both, no need to throw that onto someone who clearly should not be bombarded with hate.
That doesn't mean Nace is less protective tho, since he also doesn't like seeing Bojan (or Jan) sad,cause lets face it, anxious and sad puppy is no fun. But he would definitely deal differently with it than Jan would. So maybe the point of them all being very protective of each other in different ways is still very applicable here, they just have different ways to express it!

1. i love galex because george is a damp monogrammed towel, and it's beautiful that alex loves him anyway. if there's hope for george there's hope for us all
2. there is something oddly charming about george endlessly baring his perfectly honed body in the hope that it will make him worthy of love: but imagine if alex weren't there mocking him. the whole thing would tip into tragedy

Thanks for the ask! I'm going to go off their dynamic at the end of book 3, after the war but before the epilogue.
29. First Date
I don't think everlark is one of those couples to be really formal about dating (they know each other really well at this point and katniss would hate making a huge deal out of it) but for their first date peeta would probably want to do something at least a little bit special. I imagine them going into town as soon as businesses start to reopen for real and maybe going shopping, either for clothes or for items for Katniss's house. This doesn't sound very romantic now that I type it out, but I imagine them holding hands and being really cute, and Katniss realizing that they haven't really done anything like this before and thinking that its really nice to have Peeta back in the district, not just as someone to take care of her but also as someone to laugh with and make plans with and joke around with and maybe invite back to her house to cuddle have a cup of coffee or something. And Peeta is just looking at her face and thinking it's nice to see her smile again and he can barely remember a time where she did, whether that's because of the hijacking or because she just doesn't smile a lot but here she is laughing and having fun and shes so pretty when shes carefree like this. Anyway, the FLUFF potential is unmatched. Alternatively, I think they might plant primroses in Katniss's garden as a sort of "date" but I feel like that would really trigger her PTSD and be more angsty than anything.
31. How do they celebrate anniversaries?
They don't really have a formal anniversary that they feel comfortable celebrating (when are they supposed to put it? the anniversary of the reaping? their engagement in the capitol? the end of the war?) until one year it finally occurs to Katniss that the day Peeta came back to district twelve would be the perfect anniversary. Again, I don't think they'd be really formal about dates or anything, but I do think they would make sure to spend as much time as possible together on that particular day once a year (as if they don't spend as much time as possible together every day) and maybe Katniss would plan a picnic to the meadow and Peeta would bake cheesy buns for them to share. (ooh now I have a new HC that it was their anniversary that day in the meadow in the epilogue but they decided to take their kids along because they don't know how anniversaries work and couldn't bear to be parted from them lol)

thoughts on elumax? (as in all dating eachother not just max dating el and lucas)
honestly i'm pretty solidly in the lumax lane when it comes to them, i think they're the only m/f ship i'm immovable on. Lucas has been through a lot for her, and yet he's always stood by her, he is ride or die for her, and while she struggles, and she might always struggle, she always goes back to him.
a girl who started out running away at every opportunity, always goes back to him eventually.
They're an endgame ship right there. I need them to be okay in the end.
With El though, i'm a lil bit of a henderhop shipper, i love the idea of El and Dustin together, i always have, they'd be so cute. It'd be such a supportive relationship, Dustin never holding back on saying how much he adores her, never letting her doubt for even one second that she's amazing.
Dustin is by far the best boyfriend for her i think.

These bitches are COMPETITIVE!! Anything can be a race or a bet between them, to the detriment of EVERYONE else. A friendly rivalry over who between them can bring in the most for the camp isn't enough, they're also betting on whether or not Sean'll eat that fisheye Pearson just discarded, or whether Lenny can shotgun a can of soup before Sean counts to 20. A lot of their less-destructive dares are food-consumption-related, yes, how did you know?
They’ve almost broken their legs and arms several times over with the racing, though. They’ve been scruffed by Arthur about just as many times.
Yes, Lenny is a morosexual. Yes, being around Sean debuffs his impulse control. Part of the fun is that they’re always egging eachother on!!
Meanwhile Sean’s type is very much ‘down to earth, smart, with a fun streak’ and Lenny checks all the boxes. He likes the push-and-pull Lenny offers, as someone who’s unafraid to call Sean on his BS while also going along on the more lighthearted stuff.
(Granted, ‘lighthearted’ in this context may or may not include robbery and arson!)
The inside jokes are neverending; Sean can, like, hold up a spoon and waggle his eyebrows and that'll mean something that has Lenny in hysterics.
Sean might not be that inclined towards reading for himself, but he LOVES listening to Lenny's voice, and will often ask Lenny to read aloud. It doesn't matter if it's a news article, a children's story, or the driest factual book on the face of the planet; if Lenny is reading it to him, Sean will remember what he hears up until the moment he starts dozing off. If Lenny quits too early, Sean will wake right back up and demand he continues until he starts dozing again.
They’ve been stuck in that loop for hours before, but the clue is to let Sean fall asleep properly before Lenny can rest his voice - he’s a lot more willing to do this when he realizes it’s one of the only surefire ways for Sean to NOT have a nightmare <3
They are SO “We aren’t joined at the hip!!” *is actually joined at the hip* core, to me. Lenny will be like ‘I can go on this job on my own!😤’ and then come back and beeline towards Sean to tell him how it went.
You know that one comic that’s like “I gotta pee” “Ok” and then they walk away hand in hand? Literally. They don’t even realize this is what they’re like!
They’re VERY good at keeping arguments or fights private; the gang only notices because those are the only times they’re not constantly around each other, beyond camp/gang duties. The fights never last long, and are never that serious - they're usually good and back to normal within a day or so.
Their most public fights are the ones they have when they’re drunk, and they only really consist of them fussing over each other. “Did you have any water, Len? I’ll grab you some water.” “Are you cold, Sean? Here, take this blanket” <- They’re both slurring, wobbling, and can’t see straight. The second one of them stands, the other is yelling at them to sit down bcz they’ll break a leg after two steps, so nothing actually gets done or fetched, unless it’s within arms reach (and that's usually more liquor). It’s a whole thing; they’re both of the mind that ‘No! You shouldn’t take care of me, you’re drunk, I’m taking care of YOU!’ and SURPRISE it’s like another competition where they can't let the other win. See Lenny grabbing Sean by the ankle while Sean's trying to drag himself towards the water canteen, and now they're yelling and wrestling in the dirt over it. It’s stupid but entertaining for anyone witnessing them, if nothing else <3
Sean has a tendency to get lost, and Lenny is usually the one who ends up looking for/finding him. Sometimes it’s not even that Sean is lost, just distracted, and Lenny will join him in whatever misadventure he’s found himself on. Other times that distraction means Lenny finding him in like a field 30 minutes from camp, and promptly laughing his ass off bcz Sean is high in a tree after pissing off a bull or smth.

1. What made you ship it?

my inspiration for enjoying this ship is "three hot messy people with a lot of charged energy between them. now what if they made out"
2. What are your favorite things about the ship?
is this triad a good idea? eeeeeeh???? but they are all very good at sex and also enjoy it a lot, so it would be a night to remember for sure (that is so memorable that it then becomes many more nights to remember... you know??)
i would love for her to call their bluff! hawkeye harasses her by coming on to her in a way that's Clearly A Joke, You Can Tell I'm Joking Right, and trapper's tack is to wind her up by pretending he doesn't notice she's a woman (which is funny to me for other reasons -- hawkeye always showing off his triple-decker wit and trapper uses the 7-year-old insult playbook). but if she turns the tables on them, then what?? put up or shut up!
and there's also the fact that in a serious way, they do take care of each other when the chips are down. THEY HID A BODY FOR HER. like if margaret ever actually needed defending from anybody other than present company, frank isn't up to it -- but you'd get trapper like "i could beat him up. like i could do that right now" and hawkeye "i have a sixteen step plan of psychological warfare" and trapper "yeah ok let's do that." but no question that threat is toast.
and. that love and affection will always be prickly. she has five inches of patience for them and no more. they'll hide the body but they will complain the whole time. but sometimes that's what they all need!!
3. Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?
i don't know, so this will now be my counter-argument segment! the reason why this wouldn't necessarily be a sustainable idea is that even though margaret could absolutely step on them in bed, as people it would often still end up being two against one, and i'm not sure how they would get past that! (but damn i would like to watch them try.) (and honestly, if she didn't feel like stepping on them in bed, i think she would enjoy letting them gang up on her in that circumstance. let my girl switch!)

5: who does what chores?
Jere cooks 90% of the time and also does the laundry. Bojan does the dishes and usually does grocery shopping as well :P Cleaning is something they do together :3

Bojan usually drives while Jere puts on the cheesiest Finnish ballads that Bojč only understands half of lol When it's Bojan's turn to be passenger princess he usually picks genuinely good Slovenian music or the most plain English pop song he can find ☠☠
16: what's their favorite domestic bliss moment?
Bathing/showering together <3 It's a very comforting (and sometimes steamy lol) activity for them. It's intimate and also a moment where they can wordlessly communicate to each other (because Jere's hearing aid is out then) Also coming home to one another after a tiring day of work/university 💖💖
19: how do they subtly express their love for each other?
Jere knows Bojan loves hearing his voice so outside of love confessions and saying Bojan's name he makes a lot of random noises or babbles incoherently just because Bojč will love it regardless of whether he understands what Jere is saying or not <3 Bojan on the other hand always keeps a close eye on Jere in public and easily picks up on when he's getting flustered or struggles to communicate with another person. Usually Jere can deal pretty well with it but sometimes he just needs Bojan to be the one to order them something from a restaurant or make small talk with a stranger 💖

6 and 18 for Archie and Maxie?
6. What do they playfully tease each other about?
Oh my goodness so many things. I feel like after a certain point they get really comfortable teasing each other over the things they fought each other about. Archie giving Maxie a hard time for that one time he almost caused the apocalypse. Maxie giving Archie shit for being a little copycat thief. Other classic Aqua/Magma jokes, "you're scared of water" type stuff.
Some of Archie's to Maxie include:
sweater tan (+ wearing a sweater in pokemon world florida)
caffeine addiction
use of the word "however"
Maxie hogging blankets
Maxie missing his business casual hoodie
you grew up on a farm cowboy
Maxie's to Archie include:
v neck tan
owning and using a literal old fashioned pirate ship with no electricity or running water when modern boats exist (why???)
cosplaying a fish for ten years (what is with the butt cape???)
expanding on that: any time archie ties something around his waist, Maxie goes "is this because you miss the butt cape"
*does something gay together* "We're having a really straight time right now." / "Archie I think you're straight." / "Aren't you glad you're straight Archie or else this would be really weird" / any variation of that -> in reference to a long running joke over something that happens between Colress, Archie, and Maxie in my prequel fic, Icarus.
18. What do their families think of their relationship?
Maxie's mom adores them. I can't wait for her appearance in Mother Earth and also probably in that little short stories compilation that's coming. I have a whole scene written where Archie meets Maxie's mom and I fucking adore it. I'm all about Marjorie "Midge" Matsubusa over here. Going insane. She thought it was a riot watching these two men tear each other apart and then completely pivot into holding hands into a coffee shop. She followed ALL the major newspapers and tabloids about it.
Archie's family was confused at first but accepted Maxie after it seemed clear that things were legit. Archie has a lot of older brothers who didn't see him a lot after they started working (and Archie started Team Aqua) so it was all quite sudden and kind of weird, but Archie's mom's side of the family (in pacifidlog) of course saw the hints of it happening before The Apocalypse, so. They were pretty happy about the whole ordeal. Maxie felt a little bit like an outsider at first but warmed up to them quickly.
