You know what would have been fun seeing? The Japanese S ranks having a conflict to whenever or not they should leave the island and let the Korean S ranks die or actually stick with them despite their guild master's wishes.
We can see that Goto Ryuji doesn't care as much about their guild mates dying as he should (which, I know is the author bias but shhh let's just say he is like that) so imagine an AU where Goto tells them about the plan after the S ranks have sparred with each other.
Once Goto Ryuji had seen that all of the S ranks would have been certain to die, –and considering Sung Jin Woo wasn't going to join in the raid– 3 days after the raid Goto declared to his guild mates that all 5 groups will leave once the Koreans try to finish off that queen, so that they will be ambushed by a swarm of ants (bc Reiji will switch off the device that they used to cut connections with the queen) and leave them to die out there.
The whole room goes cold because... well for some it's their first mission outside of Japan and they were ready to do their best to represent a good image of their country, especially to Koreans. Japan may have their superior behavior towards other Asian countries but as the new generations come around, some aren't that lenient on following in their footsteps.
Most of the S ranks are in their 20s some to late 20's and Goto is the oldest one of them here, apart maybe from Reiji, however because they are young is why they hadn't been thought much about the fighting between Koreans and Japanese. They won't let the past get in their way of helping another country, but neither will they let the past dictate their actions too.
Yet, they are young, and Japan is fully a country that still seeps itself within conservative ideas (found out a lot of that whilst researching for KNY and boi...) and also Goto won't take a no for an answer. Which means the only reason he is here for is just to warn them ahead of time to leave.
Once Ryuji is far away enough to not listen to their conversation, Fujishima (eye glasses freckled blonde boi) starts to talk before the whole room turns to chaos.
"Raise your hand if you agree."
3 people raise their hand. Shimizu Akari, Hoshino Minoru and Tanaka Kenzo
"If you don't."
3 people too. Ippei Izawa, Kumamoto Atsushi, and Tawata Kanae.
"Kei, Mira?"
The other two stay they are still unsure about the whole mess, but they don't get to explain why before Ippei already looks back at Shimizu surprised and remarks.
"I expect you of all people to side with the Koreans, you know, since you like healing and all."
"And you are an Assassin Ippei-san, aren't you supposed to like the idea of killing people?"
"Touche, but I like killing monsters more, besides I don't want to get the stink eye for the rest of my life from a country that we have nothing to do with."
Kenzo adds," Goto-san will definetly want that country one way or another. Alongside the Japanese goverment or else he wouldn't have gotten this far into the plan."
"So we are the last to know? And he wants to expand the country through this kinds of means?" Kumamoto groans. "Great, just great..." then he hides his face on both hands. "Ugh we are still going to look like the monsters here."
"That is, if they know we are going to be the monsters." Kanae speaks, "I'm not inclined into the idea either, especially when Goto-san knows that his reputation throughout all other Asian countries will be at stake if he is found out. So he will likely make it look like as though the machine had a few malfunctions or something and in the end only the S ranks got away."
"Then all we have to do is lie through our teeth and get the money, a few ants won't be a problem."
The whole room unanonimously agrees.
"So all of us accept the plan?"
Nope.
Atsushi goes first this time. "You all remembered that S rank right? The one who tied with Goto-san? Do you guys think we can even kill that man?"
Fujishima retorts this time. "He isn't going to the raid, but that's all I could gather from the data given to us by the Korean Hunter's Association."
"Maybe they are planing on having him as a backup." Mira says, "His power level is too strong as a mage—"
"He was a mage?!"
"– Akari-San let me speak. He is too powerful for the KHA to not include him in the raid."
"Fair enough. And also since was he a mage?"
"I agree with Akari-san, since when was he a mage? He looked like an Assassin to me."
"That's because you think every is an Assassin like you."
Mirai pulls out the identity of the new hunter. Clearly S rank Mage.
"A mage, with the strength to par on Goto-san."
"No that will definitely be a foil."
"But Goto-san doesn't seem nervous about that man, maybe he was weaker than him? Or maybe he really isn't going to be in the mission." Shimizu says.
"Yeah, but what about after that? If Goto-san is trying to expand the country, what will they do about him? Or about the KHA's chairman, both are S ranks." Kanae leaves the whole room silent.
Finally, it's Kei who raises his hand and asks. "Even if we all say no, what will Goto-san do to us? We can only obey you know?"
"More like, what will Goto-san do without us? If we don't join in the raid the Koreans will be hesitant and see that something is going on." Kanae entails.
"But we will loose the trust of our guild master."
"And? We are also S ranks, he can't harm all of us unless he wants his guild to stop performing as well as he wants it to."
"He will fire us then." Shimizu looks a bit worried now.
But Kanae keeps going. "Have you forgotten there are other guilds out there hungry for more power? Our job isn't to be inside the drama, only to watch the guild masters go at each other's throats while we take care of the gates."
"Look I'm not going to get in Goto-san's bad side even if I am stronger than him alright? That man has the goverment on our side AND he can instantly make us regret every decision in our lives if he wants to. You've seen the way he humiliated that A rank healer who wanted to retire. No. I am joining him for my safety." Hoshino leans back, both arms crossed.
Shimizu also joins in. "Besides, Sword Guild is the only one that pays much more than the other guilds."
Kenzo nods too. "We can try our best to not look like the bad guys the less we keep talking about it, and if we are found out then so will the Guild Master suffer, his lies depend on us just we do to him."
"None of us are board here." Ippei throws a hand out to Kanae and Atsushi. "But we really have no choice... for now at least."
Mirai has the sharpest sense of them all, leading her to feel an indescribable wave oozing out of Ippei, of course it's just for a flicker. He is good at hiding that mana around him after all.
But she knows, probably some knew too, that he might be planning something, yet just like with Goto-san, they are S ranks, who can stop them. At least he isn't dragging them into it.
~~~~~
Kanae keeps her driving her sword into Ippei, but he still manages to dodge away.
"Is dodging the only thing you can do."
"Well it's part of my class." The other mocks before the wooden blade comes to slice him in half.
Surprised, he moves back, the wood breaks despite being embedded with mana. A beep suddenly ticks out and they both stop the match.
1 hour was finished, they both ended in a tie again. Right now there was only 2, maybe 1 day before the raid, since midnight was creeping out into the corner and no one else was here anymore except the two of them and a few Korean from the association guarding the gym.
"What?"
Ippei tilts his head. "What what?"
"Why do you look at me like that?" Kanae puts her phone away.
And Ippei shrugs.
He still keeps staring, his head moving from side to side as she goes to put the broken sword down.
"Fuckin!— you know I can see you right?"
"Hm, that didn't seem true last time."
"What are you talking about?" She glares back at him.
"..."
"Ippei-san."
"I thought I saw you the other day at... you know..." He points with his eyes towards the hunter's association logo stuck in the middle of the gym.
"Ah, ahahaha. You should get your eyes checked."
"I don't know. Maybe it was another huntress. But it's surprising honestly, she looked and felt so much like you."
"Well. You can't prove that was me."
"I can't." Ippei admits, putting the wooden daggers away too. "But I'm sure the association can."
"They won't let you know. " She claps back in an angrier, more serious tone.
Ippei looks unfazed by that, they both joined the Swords guild around the same time, even became S ranks on the same year. So he knows her and the short temper she carries well enough by now.
"I was actually planing to ask you if you could show me around the association, hoping to meet the chairman by any chance."
She blinks. "How so."
Ippei shrugs.
~~~
"Who was it?" Ten S ranks are now confronted with Goto's furious gaze running down their spines.
The Jeju Island had been a failure from start to finish.
Which means it had been the most successful raid so far.
Ippei looks glances at Reiji, also somewhat mad, but his aura seemed to have been more relaxed than he was before the raid. Fujishima had told him during the mission that he too had been hesitant, but he was lenient anyways. If anyone here was the most loyal to Ryuji then it had to be him.
Mirai was the first to raise her hand, all of them silently thanked her for putting herself in arms way.
"None of us are foolish enough to go against your will Goto-sama." She carefully chose her words. "But if I may be able to speak... those shadows that the man has, we saw them move between our own shadows, even between the battles."
"You want to tell me the shadows could have seen our plan?"
"You are correct sir."
The atmosphere quickly calms down. Out of all of them, Kanae and Kumamoto are the ones that sigh less, trying to appear innocent. Goto may not catch on but Ippei did, also shortening out his relief.
Afterwards he comes out of the room, the three of them can see the shadows moving around. Kumamoto leans in a bit, trying to maintain his composure.
"Did we really make the right choice?"
Kanae hits him back with her elbow. "Hush!" The sight of Goto still around them, but not close enough to have heard.
Ippei shrugs again. "We did nothing at all. That S rank simply showed up unexpectedly on the shores." He remembers it very well too.
How Sung Jin Woo had been patrolling the Sea flying with a wyvern. Team Charlie was the first to see him, in a moment the three had been shouting for Goto and the others to move to or escape since there was a huge ant being beaten down by a wyvern.
Ippei was the first to go to them, with Kei following behind. Their faces paled a they saw that S rank "Mage" beat down an ant even stronger than Goto to a single bug.
After a long fight, possibly an even longer fight than the ones the other S ranks had defeating the queen, Ippei finally hears Goto calling out to them, asking what happened. Kei and Fujimoto each I form him about the their respective teams and what they saw.
Fujimoto starts saying how there was this huge ant that almost went for Shimizu's head were it not for a dagger suddenly flying out to attack him. Out of nowhere a black shadow enveloped Shimizu, said darkness turning into an orc. Kazuki was about to attack it and save the frozen Shimizu but that orc suddenly started attacking all other ants which made him confused.
The strongest ant backed away and looked towards the sky, Fujishima did the same and found the S rank coming down from a wyvern and start attacking each other.
"At least all of us got out alive." Kanae says, remembering Shimizu's traumatized state as she retold the strength of that ant and how she was so close to death.
"All of us could have died there."
Without saying a word, they all finally relaxed when they where out of the Sword guild's building.
"Hey wanna go to that restaurant out in—"
The phone rang, Atsushi grabbed to see a notification, his face turning a bit pale and then relaxing when he unlocked his phone.
"It's from Sung Jin Woo-sama."
Kanae and Ippei immediately got up close. The scene would have been called out immediately since none of them were the kind to touch others but they didn't care.
The text was in Japanese
Thank you.
They didn't see the shadows dance around them.
"Tch, since when did you get his number? Lucky."
Atsushi only replied back after running his words through the translator.
Thanks you too

Four Seasons. Same room. Same Time. I'll be waiting. -E
Those words practically tattooed themselves over your eyes as you read the message for the umpteenth time that month. It has always been the same message sent to you through text, repeatedly done so, sometimes twice or thrice a day until said "same time" would come to pass. Well, that's because you have disabled Eita from calling you.
You received a knowing look from your secretary who was sitting beside you in the backseat of the car. More or less, she already knew what was going on with how you were sighing repeatedly while looking at your phone. There wasn't exactly anything you did not tell her, and she knew your rather negative disposition stemming from what transpired exactly a month ago in Monaco.
"I speak now as your friend, Y/N," Kiyoko, your henchman in every sense of the word, spoke, shedding off the formal tone she used when addressing you as her employer. "Go and see Eita. I am starting to worry for the both of you."
You arched a brow at her. She was aware as to your choice not to see him again at least until things cooled down. He wasn't exactly someone you could avoid for the rest of your life, not when you moved in the same social circles, and definitely not when your families are virtually inseparable.
"He's your best friend," she droned on.
"Yes, until I ruined things beyond repair and he had to break his engagement off because of me," you snapped, going for the offense, not really wanting her to win the argument. You hated how she was always right, and god knows why she kept up with your utter stupidity when it comes to your feelings.
"Because she was cheating on him!" Kiyoko fired back, assuming her persona as your older sister from another mother. "It wasn't because of you. It was already happening before you even came into the picture."
You didn't know what was worse: you seeming to have broken up Eita's relationship with his fiancée or you appearing to have shrewdly swooped down at the first opportunity like a vulture to carcass, all because of your festering feelings for him even before you both entered university.
A strangled scoff elicited from your mouth. “Cheating on Eita? Mika?”
“Yes.”
“That’s impossible. She adores Eita.”
“Not enough, apparently.”
You could feel your head swelling to twice its size at the thought of it. You didn’t know how you would feel about the whole matter, torn between relief from the thought of Eita not getting married the following year after all, and that of anger when it dawned to you that your dearest friend was being made a fool by anybody regardless of their identity.
"And you knew this for how long?"
“A week before you arrived.” Kiyoko took your hand in hers. "Y/N, I've known you long enough to know when you're trying to suppress your feelings even if they're right just so others can be happy. I know you well enough to know that you have been in love with him for the longest time, exactly why you couldn't accept Ushijima Wakatoshi's suits no matter how fond you are of him."
You knew the rest of the story. It was second nature to your secretary to investigate when she feels like something wasn't right even without authorization from anyone. Yes, even if it meant bypassing you or going against your orders when she feels like acting to your best interests. Kiyoko was efficient, and quite frankly, terrifying, like that.
"With whom?" you asked. “With whom is Mika cheating on Eita?”
"A Daisho Suguru. New money, apparently, but a good man nonetheless."
You were surprised at her observations but you knew better than to doubt it. If there was anyone with a good eye for character, it was Shimizu Kiyoko, and if she says that man who was taking Eita’s fiancée from him was a good man, then you would believe it without question.
She exhaled loudly, her raven locks swaying with her movement. "In all fairness to Miss Yamaka, it wasn't intentional and she didn't plan to hurt Eita, but sometimes things are just the way they are. It was love at first sight, and although I am not inclined to believe in such things, I saw it myself. There just isn’t a spark between her and Eita which equates to fireworks with that man."
"Eita still got hurt," you couldn’t help but say, becoming fiercely protective. While you never hated his fiancée, you didn’t particularly have a forgiving character, not when the most important person in your life was the receiving end of anything negative. Despite yourself, you would always, always come to his defense.
"He wants you, Y/N. His betrothal being called off isn't hurting him half as much as you distancing yourself from him is. Like I said, things are just the way they are."
"Me, giving in to my baser instincts and sleeping with him when he was supposedly vulnerable is not just because things are the way they are, as you’ve put it, Kiyoko."
"You've been absent from his life for three years, hiding away in Monte Carlo. And did your feelings change?"
"I wasn't hiding!"
"Sure, except that he appears in your life again, just two weeks in, and yet you are head-over-heels for him again no matter how many times you deny it." She rolled her eyes at you when you attempted to protest. "Eita needs you right now more than ever."
"That's just adding fuel to the fire." You meant the words to be dismissive, but Kiyoko wasn't having any of it.
The car had stopped, you noticed long after it has. Just then, she opened the door and stepped out, holding it open. She eyed you sternly, cocking her head and motioning for you to get out of the vehicle. Your face contorted into a frown and your heart started palpitating when you saw the very hotel Eita was referring to in his messages right in front of you
"Come now, Y/N. Think of it as the universe conspiring against you and your bullheadedness." She reached towards you and pulled you out, making you almost stumble on the pavement.
You were rather appalled that she called you bullheaded, but that was the least of your concerns. You shook your head, feeling your hands go clammy. "No."
She took you by the shoulders and shook you slightly. "You're here anyway. Just talk to him. Stop ruining yourselves and give yourself the liberty to have what you want for once."
There was no arguing your way out of it, and knowing Kiyoko, she would wait in the parking lot just to make sure you didn't bolt. Nodding in resignation, you straightened your clothes and stretched your hand out towards her. "My things, Secretary Shimizu." You addressed her in such a way to spite her, but she ended up flashing you a triumphant smile instead.
She handed you your purse, grinning. "Have fun, President YL/N."
You blew a raspberry. "Yeah. Who works for who?" Shaking your head, you entered the lobby, the sound of your heels changing as you stepped into the marble floor making your heart stop momentarily, but you had to conceal that by acknowledging the concierge who came to meet you.
"Miss YL/N," he greeted enthusiastically. "Have you come to see Mr. Semi?" His demeanor changed at the mention of Eita’s name, no doubt wondering why the hell the man, although known to be a regular patron, was staying for way too long at the hotel.
You nodded and he led you towards the private lift that led to the penthouse. It was always the same place that it was almost reserved for the two of you since you started that tradition of retreating to said room when you felt like getting away from everyone but didn't have the luxury of time to go elsewhere. In that suite, you have created a world of your own, the place holding precious memories and the walls silent listeners to your happiness and woes, silent witnesses to your complex bond with that ash-blonde male you’ve known almost all your life.
The moment you disembarked from the elevator, you were tempted to go back but the doors slid close with the concierge waving happily at you. Taking a deep breath, you walked through the short hallway which led to the main entrance to the suite, your hands trembling as your palm made contact with the brass doorknob.
You haven't really seen Eita since you left him the morning following your little interlude, the sobering realization that you just crossed the line with your supposed best friend, who was, to your knowledge, engaged at that time, making you flee from the scene as quickly as you could. So many things told you that you shouldn’t have done it with him, that you should have exercised prudence, but all is said and done, and there was no way you could change anything – not what happened, not the whole predicament that followed and definitely not your feelings.
You didn't really know why he still wanted to see you when you left him in the cold and avoided him at all costs. He had been consistently messaging you with the same thing every single day since he returned to the country shortly after you did, meaning to see you, already standing at your doorstep but refusing to see him, not knowing what to say or do once you were faced with the reality of it all. It wasn't all too different at present, standing but a few paces away from him on the other side of the door.
Before your resolve could crumble further, you pushed the door open and walked into the drawing room which was empty. With every ounce of courage left in your body, you roamed around in that confident gait you would carry yourself in as if you were surveying your domain as opposed to dreading the prospect of seeing the man you knew you were hurting all along. When you didn’t find him, you set your things on the couch, deciding to search for him after, but when you turned around, he was standing under the arch, leaning lazily against the side of the wall, cradling a glass half-filled with brandy, you surmised.
You took in his appearance, tracing every detail with your eyes and etching it in your brain. His hair was damp, his silvery locks falling over his intense eyes, sharp as they were cold, regarding you with caution while his sensuous mouth was fixed in that perpetual smirk. His black oxford shirt was not buttoned, hanging on his broad shoulders and revealing the expanse of the creamy alabaster skin of his chest and chiseled abdomen, while his dark jeans hung precariously low on his hips. He was a god, another being altogether, and yet he was also the boy you grew up with, the person you called your best friend and the man you fell in love with.
You regarded the glass in his hand, following it as he raised it to his lips which was curled contumeliously, taking a swig and then swallowing. The way his Adam's apple bobbed as he did so made your throat go dry. It had taken herculean effort to stop yourself from being attracted to him in the most sinful of ways, but it all crumbled once he gave you a taste of him, and having done so, you didn't know how you were able to go for a whole month without seeing him.
"It's the middle of the day," you commented casually, loosening the silk cravat that came with your suit, followed by the lace gloves which you've placed on the armrest of the settee. "Should you be drinking?"
At that, Eita threw his head back, chuckling. The sound came out with a bitter edge to it. "You leave me wordlessly after we fucked, you don't see me for a month even if I begged, and when you do, you comment on my drinking habits. Classic Y/N." He took another large gulp of the amber liquid as if to spite you.
You froze at his outward hostility. He has never treated you in such a way even at his worst moments. Your heart sank. It was your fault why he was acting that way but you weren't about to give him the upper hand entirely.
"Hmm. You insisted upon seeing me for this? Are you going to behave like a child and sulk or are we going to talk like proper adults?" you sniped.
He laughed darkly after finishing his drink, dropping the glass on the carpeted floor with a thud. He stalked towards you with a predatory hint to his movements while you stood your ground, eyes unrelenting on him despite being cornered. He was gorgeous as he was intimidating and you didn’t know which one to consider as he came closer.
"I wasn't the one who did not have the spine and maturity to stay and confront her feelings, Y/N. You ran away just like that. And you say I am sulking? I am way past sulking! I am broken, Y/N, and you did this to me."
"What was I to think?" he droned on, raising his voice. "You just left treating me as if I was one of those people you had a one-time thing with. But I am not like them, Y/N. What do you take me for?"
"What did you expect me to do?" you asked referring to the situation of his engagement which cancelation he has not told you about.
He closed the distance between the two of you in one long stride, towering over you as his eyes flashed in anger. "That you would set me apart for someone more important than anybody else you've had dalliance with! That you would consider how I would feel if you did that because I am your best friend and as such, maybe I was different." His voice cracked as tears filled his sable eyes. "That maybe you feel the same way as I do for the longest time."
As if on cue, your eyes felt hot as well and you could feel tears stinging your eyes but you blinked them back furiously. "You are different, Eita. I love you and you know that. You are my favorite person in the world, but just the same, let me return the question to you: what was I to think?"
"About what? Haven't I made myself clear that night? I wanted you and I have been in love with you for the longest time that it hurt when you expressed your gladness when I was engaged to Yamaka Mika!"
"That's exactly my problem! All this time I was thinking that I was the one who caused your engagement to be broken. I lost sleep over the idea that I ruined something good for you only to find out that it was long done just today. I stepped back because I wanted you to fix things with her, give it a chance to be fixed but you didn't tell me anything! You tell me I am your best friend but my secretary knew about the reason before I did. What the fuck was that about?"
"You would have known if you stayed long enough! I was meaning to tell you, but you always had that Ushijima Wakatoshi dangling about you beforehand, touching you freely as if… as if you belonged to him. I couldn't have that, Y/N, and when you came to me that night, I couldn't help myself anymore. I had to have you."
Taken aback at his observations about the other man where you were involved, you scowled at him. "He was not!"
“What is he to you?”
You made a face, offended that he would even ask. “A friend?”
“He likes you, doesn’t he?”
Your brows scrunched up. “Wakatoshi is the least of your worries, Eita.” You shrugged, suddenly feeling tired. “You…”
“What?”
“I’m sorry about Mika.”
Without a warning, Eita grabbed you, hooking his arm around your waist so you were flush against him, while with his free hand, he cupped the back of your head and secured you as he dipped his mouth onto yours with urgency and dominance that sent liquid fire coursing through your veins and making your ears ring as blood rushed up to your head at his touch. Once again, you found yourself melting into his touch as your lips melded, your breaths becoming one and his heat engulfing you.
Your hands found purchase on his chest, fisting his shirt. Opening up to him, you allowed his tongue to mingle with yours, his jaw flexing hard as he explored your wet cavern. Where his hands were warm against you, his tongue was hot, the remnants of alcohol mingling with mint making you dizzy with want.
"You've ruined me, Y/N," he whispered against your lips. "You have robbed me of sanity. You're the only woman I want. I don't care if Mika cheated on me, and maybe I should be sorry for saying this, but I am not. I only want to be with you. You can call me crazy, but that's just how I feel." He buried his face on the junction of your neck and shoulder, holding you tighter. "I love you so much. I can't live without you."
Eita was baring his soul to you, had done it that night and yet you didn't know what to do even if it was obvious what it was you should be doing. He had come clean, but what about you? The conviction in which he declared his adoration for you made it all the scarier for you to say anything in response, afraid you will disappoint him. You were never good with words and you were even worse at expressing your feelings.
"I wanted to die when you refused to see me…"
You wrapped your arms around him, soothing his back. It broke your heart to hear him saying such things. Eita had protected you for a long expanse of time, spanning from when you were children up until the time you left. It didn’t sit well with you that he felt that much pain and because of you at that. "I am so sorry. I didn't know."
He pulled away meeting your gaze, his deep dark eyes devouring your very being. "Say you feel the same." His hand tightened on your shoulder. "I need to hear it."
"I love you, too. I have for a long time," you said slowly, wringing your fingers. "When you got engaged, I thought I could just forget about how I feel…"
"Is that why you chose to work in Monaco?" He picked at a stray strand of hair on your neck.
You nodded in earnest. "But when you showed up six months later, I knew it did nothing to change anything, even when you seemed so happy with her, so I decided to stay there for as long as I did."
He hung his head low. "Why didn't you tell me? Up until my parents arranged the engagement, I was waiting for you to say something."
"And ruin our friendship if you didn't feel the same?"
"I thought I was being obvious since middle school and you were only blowing me off." Finally, he smiled, enhancing his already devastatingly handsome features, slender fingers tracing your lower lip, your jawline, down to the columns of your throat, making your breath hitch. His mere proximity made you reel out of rationality, but his touches, they always ignited something inside you. When he reached your collarbone, his eyes took a darker quality as he eyed you with hunger.
Eita trapped you against the backrest of the settee, hands settling on either side of your hips. “You haven’t the vaguest hint how happy I was when you kissed me back…how you’ve made me the luckiest man alive when you allowed me to stake my claim on you.” His finger ventured lower while he invaded your space. “How you’ve made me feel so alive and glad that I am.” He brushed his lips on your forehead, your temple, your jawline, his nose grazing onto the crook of your neck, punctuating it with butterfly kisses which made your toes curl in anticipation. “I’ve waited so long for you.”
Your heart swelled with so much happiness at his words. Although your mind was clouded with desire for the very man in front of you, you couldn’t help but smile in genuine joy and adoration for him sans the lust. You’ve felt the same, truth be told. Reaching up, you wrapped your arms around his neck, this time, claiming his lips with yours with resolute passion, knowing that he was yours for the taking. He returned it with as much fervor if not more as his arms wrapped around you, ensnaring you in a possessive embrace.
His tongue delved into your mouth, sliding deliciously against yours, swirling as you felt like the room was spinning rapidly with the way he was making you feel like you were about to catch fire. Your hand pushed his shirt off his broad shoulders, sliding down to his taut chest while he momentarily let go of you to remove the offending garment without cutting the kiss. The moment his hands found your waist again, he molded your body against his, his stiff arousal pressing against your stomach as he pushed a thigh between your legs.
You were so preoccupied by the magic that he seemed to be conjuring with just his lips that you did not notice when his hands left your waist, drawing in a deep, shocked breath when you heard the sound of your silk blouse being torn apart, the pearls that served as its buttons scattering about on the carpeted floor. You pulled back slightly, your clothed breasts now exposed to him, making him lick his lips despite his confusion as to why you stopped kissing him.
“That’s a Diane Von Furstenberg blouse, Eita!” you chastised, evading him when he tried to kiss you again.
He growled, sweeping you off your feet and carrying you bridal style towards the bedroom, the ensuing smirked he sported making you weak all over. “I don’t care who designed it, Y/N. I want all of them off you.” He placed you on top of the bed, and without wasting another second, he hovered over you, resting his knees between your legs, nudging the apex of your thighs as he leaned down and asserted ownership of your lips again, hands skimming over your sides until he reached your breast, kneading. His sensuous mouth moved lower to your neck to your chest, removing your lace bra and tossing it somewhere behind him, his mouth immediately latching onto your hardened nipple while he toyed with the other one with his fingers.
Carding your fingers into his unruly yet silky hair, you pulled him even closer to you. He continued to shower attention to your breasts even as he unbuttoned and unzipped your slacks, pulling away as he pushed the garment down your legs, gently removing your white Louboutin pumps, grinning slyly at you as he carefully set them down the floor when you flashed him a warning look. Eita then planted his lips against your ankle, moving up your legs, the length of which he kissed, shifting to the other when he reached your thighs, his hand hooking underneath your knees to pull you closer towards him. He tore your lace panty off you harshly.
“Ei –” Your intended scolding was cut short by a sharp moan when he licked up your folds and inserted a digit into you, causing you to arch your back, your fingers tangling with the sheets.
“You were saying?” he asked with a chuckle before licking your nether lips again, your hips bucking upwards when he started sucking your sensitive nub while his fingers thrust inside you, their length reaching your sweet spot repeatedly until all you could think of was him pleasuring you, his ministrations making you see stars.
“Oh god…Eita…” you let out breathily, legs curling over his shoulders to draw him closer to you. “Right there.”
He hummed in response and curled his fingers inside you when he felt your walls clench around them. His tongue and lips lapped and sucked with more vigor and intensity, making you shudder as you reached your high, your juices dripping out into his tongue. He emerged from between your legs, lips glistening with your essence which he licked off with his tongue, eventually placing his fingers into his mouth and sucking them clean.
“You taste so good,” he said, bending down so he could kiss you again. He then started undoing the button of his jeans, shedding them and setting his cock free, hard and ready. Like the first time you had sex with him, it felt surreal when he finally slid into you, your moans mingling with one another when he reached deep inside of you.
He started to thrust, slowly then setting up a rhythm which had you writhing and panting. “Faster!” you cried out, “Ah…Oh Eita…Don’t stop.” Delicious keens and whines spilled out of your mouth, driving him to move faster to grant you your high which came with intensity that made you forget about everything else except for Eita who was stirring you alive and making you feel like you’re falling while seeing fireworks behind your eyelids.
With every time, he pushed deeper, broken syllables of your name came out in moans and grunts from him, his rhythm stuttering with every time you clenched around his pulsating manhood, pushing in and out.
“I’m yours, Y/N. Only yours,” he rasped before he laid claim over your lips again, and just with those words, you felt yourself reaching your climax again, making you cry out his name as your back momentarily lifted from the mattress. His thrusts started to become more frantic, making you a panting mess as he chased his high which came with one powerful push before you felt his warm seed filling you up, sending shivers down your spine as he spasmed on top of you. Finally, he collapsed on you, face buried in your hair, stilling his breath.
You, too, came down from your high, running your fingers on the hair at the base of his head as you stared up at the ceiling while he remained inside you. You were considering things now that everything seemed to have worked out for the best for the two of you. Gone was the dilemma of his engagement and how you feel for one another was clear.
“What now?” you asked him, causing him to rise slightly from you, resting his elbow on the mattress on either of your sides.
Eita grinned at you, brushing your hair away from your face before swooping down and planting kisses all over your face. Once again, he took possession of your lips, kissing you languidly as he rolled you both over so that you were on top of him.
“I guess we’re dating now,” he said, looking dazed when you pulled back. You immensely enjoyed that look on his face, happy that you affected him in such a way. “But do we really have to go through the whole dating thing? We’ve known each other for as long as we have and went through every single thing dating couples usually go through…”
Your brows furrowed and your heart started to race at the prospect of what he was saying. “What do you mean?”
Eita wrapped an arm around you, adjusting your position on him. “What do you say we skip it?”
“Skip dating?”
“Yeah.”
“And do what?”
He sat up, taking you with him, hand reaching towards the drawer of the nightstand where he took a black, velvet box before turning his eyes on you, intense and overflowing with earnestness and tenderness…and love. “People usually do this on one knee, but I guess it’s called for.” He glanced down at where you were still joined together and chuckled but he turned serious just as quickly.
Eita opened the box, showing you his mother’s ring, and heirloom passed down through generations in their family. You’ve seen it before adorning his mother’s hand and now he was presenting it to you in a not-so-grand but, just the same, meaningful gesture.
“Oh my god,” you gasped.
“I think it’s long overdue, but would you make me the happiest man alive by doing me the exceptional honor of being my wife?” He took the ring from its case, picking your hand up. “Marry me, Y/N.”
Tearing up, you threw your arms around him, wrapping him in a tight embrace. “I will.”
He pulled back, meeting your eyes with his which were shining as he smiled happily. “You will?” he said between laughter, chest reverberating against yours.
“I will. I’ll marry you, Eita.” You kissed him this time, smiling when you felt him go stiff inside you again. He slid the ring into your finger and you looked on in appreciation of the glistening diamond.
“I love you.”
“I love you, too.”
And with that out of the way, he laid you back on the bed, souls and hearts entwined, both of you finally home in each other’s arms.

“You lie to your best friend/crush that you have an OnlyFans just to see their reaction”
Ft. Sugawara; Nishinoya; Tsukishima; Oikawa; Kenma
Pt. 2
A/N: My bias is so obvious here LOL
KARASUNO
Tumblr media
↳ Sugawara
➣  You are over at his house, the two of you idly watching a sitcom while browsing your phones and chatting in between; it’s comfortable, as times with Sugawara usually are.
➣  Every time Suga leans in to show you a funny meme on his phone or throws his head back in laughter at a joke from the show, you find your heart skipping a beat.
➣  He is beautiful, basically an angel in your eyes, but he is also your best friend and you don’t think he has any interest in you like that. Not in the way you do.
➣  That’s how you get the idea to test his feelings.
➣  Being the troublemaker you are (how else would you and Suga get along so well?) you decide to shake things up by casually mentioning you’re interested in starting an OnlyFans and asking if he thinks its a good idea.
➣  You expect either of two reactions: either he’ll be as supportive as usual, possibly advising you to be cautious with strangers online like the mother hen he is, proving he only sees you as a friend—or he’ll tell you not to, possible evidence that likes you.
➣  The response you receive is not quite what you were expecting...
➣  Once the words leave your lips his head immediately whips around in your direction, light brown eyes looking at you with a serious expression on his face, something you’d never really seen before. It makes you uncomfortable and you begin to regret all of your life decisions.
➣  Suddenly though, he is leaning into you, his arms coming up to trap you against the couch as you try to back away. Your eyes are as wide as saucers and face completely flushed as he continues to stare you down before speaking.
➣  “Even though I’m your best friend, I’m still a man, you know. You’re being awfully cruel right now.”
➣ You audibly gulp, suddenly feeling light-headed but he keeps speaking, close enough that you can feel his hot breath fan across your cheeks.
➣ “Asking me to watch the person I like show off in front of thousands of other men? Even I have my limits.”
➣ And that marks the day of you and Sugawara’s first kiss. ♡
Tumblr media
↳ Nishinoya
➣  Your best friend, Nishinoya Yuu, is notoriously unabashed with his affections.
➣ The two of you have an interesting relationship—Noya has no qualms with expressing how pretty he thinks you are, borderline flirting with you at times, and you frequently return the favor.
➣  But you don’t take any of it seriously, of course, regardless of how much you secretly wish it were real. Everyone at Karasuno knows about Noya’s undying dedication to the volleyball club manager, Shimizu Kiyoko, and he confesses his love to her at least twice a day.
➣ Unbeknownst to you those professions became less and less frequent after he met you and now most of Karasuno thinks the two of you are basically dating
➣ The two of you are at the mall, a frequent hang out place where Noya can look at volleyball gear and you can browse manga at the bookstore, when you get the idea to prank your friend.
➣ “Hey, Noya? I’ve been thinking about finding a way to make more money but I don’t have time for a part-time job so I decided to make an OnlyFans—I already have a few subscribers.”
➣ Nishinoya nearly trips and falls flat on his face. You would have laughed if it weren’t for how he immediately grabs at your shoulders, staring at you with a mix of anger and fear.
➣ “Absolutely not! No one should be allowed to see your beautiful body like that but me!”
➣ You immediately fluster at his loud declaration, acutely aware of how other customers in the mall are giving the two of your strange looks as they walk by.
➣ “B-but Noya, we aren’t even dating—”
➣ “Then let’s start dating!”
➣ And what are you gonna do? Say no?
Tumblr media
↳ Tsukishima
➣ Being friends with Tsukishima could be frustrating at times—a sentiment you and Yamaguchi frequently discuss when the blond isn’t around.
➣ Tsukishima likes to think most things are beneath him and he’s too cool to find enjoyment in activities most other friends enjoy, ranging from mini golf to video games. The man seems content to waste his life away studying and listening to music if it weren’t for you and Yamaguchi forcing him out of his room.
➣ Naturally, something like a prank war would be something Tsukishima would want no part of—not that that has ever stopped you.
➣ Usually, your pranks are failures. Either Tsukishima easily figures out what you’re doing before it can happen or he doesn’t give you the satisfaction of a reaction, chastising you for wasting your time pulling pranks when you have a failing grade in mathematics you’ll later beg him to help you study for.
➣ He still helps you though, he’s whipped
➣ Your newest prank however, you feel exceptionally confident in. Not only is it simple to pull off, only relying on your acting kills, but it also might answer your curiosity on whether you have a chance in getting your dearest Tsukki to see you as more than just a friend.
➣ The day you decide to do it the three of you are hanging out in Tsukishima’s bedroom as usual, you working on the math homework Tsukishima forced you to study while he reads a book and Yamaguchi sits in the corner reading a book.
➣ You had already discussed your plans with Yama beforehand, to which his expression looked suspiciously devious, like he knew something you didn’t know, as he proclaimed his support.
➣ You hear Tsukishima turning a page and decide to speak up.
➣ “Hey, Tsukki, have you heard of OnlyFans?”
➣ You hold back a snicker as you see Tsukishima visibly tense, his eyes widening behind his glasses for a moment before he relaxes. From the corner of your eyes you can see Yamaguchi smirking behind his comic, watching the blond closely.
➣ “...yeah, I’ve heard of it,” Tsukishima simply replies.
➣ “I’ve been thinking about making more money but I don’t have time for a part-time job so my friend suggested it. She said I could make over ten thousand yen a month.”
➣ “I think only the really attractive ones make that much.”
➣ You gasp, thoroughly offended, and Yamaguchi looks mildly annoyed by his friend’s response, already opening his mouth to chastise him for being so mean—but before he can say anything, Tsukishima is speaking again, still looking down at the book in his lap.
➣ “Don’t do it though.”
➣ “Why not?” You pout, refusing to look up at him when you speak.
➣ “...I don’t want the person I like to do those types of things.”
➣ You nearly choke on your own saliva, head darting up to stare at him in disbelief. Yamaguchi, for some reason, only smiles softly, looking unsurprised by the admission.
➣ “W-what? You...like me?”
➣ “Oi, shouldn’t you be studying? One more F and you’re gonna flunk out of the class, dummy.”
➣ You’re slightly disappointed by the change of subject but when you notice the soft pink on Tsukishima’s cheeks you can’t help but to smile the whole time you finish your homework.
AOBA JOUSAI
Tumblr media
↳ Oikawa
➣ Oikawa is a busy guy.
➣ You were well aware of that before the two of you happened to be paired up for an assignment and got to know each other, eventually becoming close friends.
➣ Between volleyball practices, tournaments, magazine interviews, and appeasing a passionate fan club, Oikawa rarely has time for himself, let alone another person.
➣ Despite all of that, you could tell he always made sure to spend time with you, dedicating a few weekends a month to hanging out, just the two of you, and constantly texting you in the times the two of you couldn’t physically be together.
➣ From an outsider’s perspective, it was almost like the two of you were dating.
➣ But alas, you know the sad reality is that Oikawa is most certainly not your boyfriend and you have no idea if he has any interest in your like that…
➣ ...Which is why you decide to try to make him jealous one day to push him towards confessing his feelings, if they exist.
➣ The two of you are at a café, sipping lattes and gossiping about other students when you bring it up.
➣ “Y’know...I’ve been thinking of making an OnlyFans.”
➣ To your surprise, Oikawa’s eyes seem to light up, his lips curving into a smile of excitement.
➣ “Wow, really? Maybe I should make one too!”
➣ Oikawa immediately pulls out his cell phone and the color drains from your face as you realize your plan has completely backfired.
➣ “My fans are going to love this—hey do you think we can do a collab? The two of us in one pic would make us top creators for sure.”
➣ You can only nod numbly with a fake smile at Oikawa’s enthusiasm.
➣ Oh god, you’ve created a monster…
NEKOMA
Tumblr media
↳ Kozume
➣ Unless you’re Kuroo, becoming friends with Kenma is a nearly impossible feat. Actually making him want to spend time with you alone, even more so.
➣ But somehow, you managed to work your way into Kenma’s tightly knit social circle more like a two point line segment of him and Kuroo and your evenings after his volleyball practice are usually spent in one of your bedrooms, playing Splatoon and Animal Crossing until your Switches die or your parents force you to come home for dinner—whichever comes first.
➣ You love spending time with Kenma, his quiet presence somehow making you feel comfortable—but over time those feelings of ease have shifted into something more akin to nervousness and excitement as you’ve come to develop a crush on the setter.
➣ Every moment with him, watching the small smiles tug at his lips when he wins a match or his cute, frustrated pout when he can’t figure out how to defeat a boss makes your heart flutter and it’s becoming more and more painful to idly sit by without expressing your feelings.
➣ A direct confession, especially to a boy with nearly 0 social skills, is scary, so you want to be sure your feelings are returned before you even attempt to share them.
➣ Thus, you’ve decided to take Kuroo’s advice.
➣ “Push him into a corner. Kenma will only act when he thinks he has to.”
➣ You take a deep breath to steel your nerves before you speak, eying him sneakily from behind your Switch.
➣ “Gamer girls and boys are kind of trendy these days; I’m thinking about starting an OnlyFans to make money to buy more games.”
➣ The only visible response you receive is a slow blink as Kenma continues to play his game, fingers tapping furiously on the keys.
➣ “Ah...I don’t think that’s a good idea.”
➣ “Why not?”
➣ There are a few moments of silence between you two, the room only filled with the SFX of your games as Kenma seems to finish his round. You recognize the victory music as Kenma pauses to finally raise his gaze to meet your own.
➣ “It's your body so I can’t tell you what to do but...I would feel really jealous of all your subscribers.”
➣ And just like that, Kenma returns his attention to the video game, unpausing and starting a new match, blissfully unaware of you struggling to calm your racing heart and flushed cheeks.

ok i’m ... only going to talk about my unpopular opinions in regard to kiyoko’s character & her portrayal. i disagree about more things than that, but i’m not trying to overstep my bounds into other people’s portrayals or the way that furudate decided to write hq.
i don’t ship kiyoyachi. i honestly can’t see them as anything more than platonic friends / best friends. kiyoko hasn’t really given any indication of her being interested in dating in the manga, nor has yachi, & their differences in personality & age make me prefer to see them as just friends. more than anything, i think yachi is someone that kiyoko is grateful to have as a friend. furudate has said that kiyoko struggles with her words / communication a lot, which means that kiyoko’s ability to talk to yachi as another girl on an all-boys team, as a senior passing the torch to the future team, & as a simple friend is something she greatly cherishes. he’s also said that he added yachi as a character who “doesn’t overlap with kiyoko-san at all,” further stressing their differences. i think they blend a lot better as friends than they do as partners, & i prefer them to just be platonic.
kiyoko isn’t rude to her own team, or rude period. she’s usually painted out to be cold & reserved, but it’s clear that she cares for her team. some people might be confused because of the distinction between concise speech & rudeness, but i think that kiyoko’s tendency to give short, simple responses sometimes leads to her being perceived as snippy or curt. but she’s been shown joking with her team ( in an off-brand sort of dark / unclear humor that sugawara also shows, sometimes ), high-fiving / patting them with distinct physical contact ( that a rude person might not ), & smiling around them. the only clear instance of her doing something that could be perceived as “rude” is that oikawa’s current concern lists her as having ignored him. but in contrast, she’s been confronted by terushima & whispered about / talked about by multiple other strangers or opposing players, but she never treats them poorly. she politely tries to excuse herself from terushima, or feigns ignorance / looks away from anyone she hears talking about her. most of the time, it’s tanaka & nishinoya who prevent her from coming in direct contact with boys who think she’s cute, so she’s never clearly “shut anyone down” in a rude way.
in that same boat, she doesn’t HATE people who flirt with her. hate is such a strong word & i don’t like to use it to refer to her feelings, but sometimes i’ve seen kiyoko be portrayed as the type of person who coldly, meanly shuts people down when they flirt with her. there’s an extra illustration in which she’s wearing a sarashi ( chest wrap ), & oikawa, kuroo, & bokuto exclaim that they want to help promote the volume so they can see her in it. but she doesn’t shut them down for it -- she crosses her arms, blushes, & makes a sort of pout-like expression ( like she’s not pleased with it, but she can’t stop them ). i don’t know where the notion of her being this aggressive, icy “man-killer” came from, but i think her responses to flirtation are pretty normal. most often, tanaka & nishinoya will stop the advances, but if they don’t, she’ll be polite to excuse herself or she’ll pout & feel embarrassed / exasperated by it. she might also rebuke advances with short, dry answers, but this is usually directed towards people she knows well ( tanaka & nishinoya ), & not strangers who could perceive it as rude if they didn’t know her well.
[ speculation ] kiyoko isn’t rich. karasuno has been painted out to be a rural public high school with medium- to low-acceptance standards. kageyama couldn’t pass the written exams to enter shiratorizawa ( a private school ), & i believe aoba josai has also been confirmed to be a private school. furthermore, the facilities at karasuno point to it being a bit of a hodge-podge school -- the volleyball team doesn’t have a coach & they aren’t given a replacement, & the girls volleyball club has to share a gym with the basketball team. so, although this is just my speculation & not confirmed in any way, kiyoko is probably local & comes from a middle-class family, which would be common in suburban / rural miyagi. her out-of-school clothing in some official art suggests that she lives comfortably & can keep up with some fashion trends ( her teddy-esque type jacket in winter, small backpack at the shrine visit, two confirmed pairs of swimsuits, etc. ), but she’s clearly not loaded with money or from a high-class family.
she’s not a highly intelligent character. she’s in class 3-2, one of the lower level classes ( not a college prep class ). some of her observations in haikyuu-bu ( though it’s technically a comedic spin-off ) suggest that she’s not highly intelligent in the way some other characters are. furudate also comments on her in the haikyuu guidebook, “i created her with the image of a ‘capable secretary’ in mind who does her work in a matter-of-fact manner. but that doesn’t mean she’s cool, in fact i draw her as being not very good with words.” i interpret this choice of wording of “cool” as also inclusive of “intelligent / clever.” i don’t think she’s unintelligent. i wrote a headcanon based on gardner’s multiple intelligences theory to explain that she’s more skilled in certain intelligences, & i plan on writing another headcanon about her intelligence later, but at least in terms of traditional book smarts, she’s not considered intelligent.
she’s not useless. this is an opinion i unfortunately see / hear a lot, & i think it’s rooted in the fact that kiyoko is a minor character, often seen as a block to certain ships, & because karasuno has two managers instead of one. i want to stress that because haikyuu is a sports manga, the majority of the on-page action is in volleyball matches, not the behind-the-scenes work of the managers. kiyoko is a minor character & accordingly doesn’t get much development or time on the page. but what we learn from hints in the manga is that she has essentially taught herself the rules of volleyball with minimal assistance from a senior manager ( since she was recruited in her first year & there was no manager there at the time ), that she is responsible for cooking, washing jerseys, & doing dishes ( from the ‘what if shimizu-san wasn’t the manager’ extra chapter ). sawamura also at one point remarks that she’s “got a lot of work on her hands” before the team plays at the interhigh tournament, which means that even the team captain recognizes her responsibilities & worth on the team.
9/10 dentists characters have called her pretty. at one point i actually tried to make a list of all the characters who have in some way commented on her appearance or acted strangely around her because she was pretty. off the top of my head, i can list : hinata, yachi, tanaka, nishinoya, sawamura, sugawara, azumane, yahaba, kindaichi, oikawa, yamamoto, lev ( ? ), kuroo, bokuto, terushima, & bobata. unfortunately, furudate’s earlier art doesn’t do her beauty much justice in my opinion ( which is why i think this tends to be downplayed sometimes ), but she clearly has some testimonials to her appearance.
she’s probably not close with any of the team outside of practice. during their new years shrine visit, the third years remark that it’s the first time they’ve ever all been to a shrine together. kiyoko also states at some point during that visit that she needs to get a gift for someone from class, which clarifies that she probably has friends outside of volleyball class ( in the same way that sawamura knows yui or ikejiri, or hinata knows friends from middle school ). furthermore, when she comes to visit hinata in the first year’s hallway, she gets a lot of comments from other students in shock, asking “who’s that pretty girl talking to hinata” / “hinata knows the hot third year ?” then when she calls hinata outside the school to come to the gym for his updated measurements, a student remarks “whoa, hinata knows that pretty third year !” this tells me that she probably doesn’t visit the first year’s hallway very often ( despite being friends with yachi ), & likely not the second year’s either.
she’s not insecure about her beauty. her legs, yes, but not her face. i’ve seen some interpretations in fics of kiyoko somehow being embarrassed by her attractiveness, but clearly it doesn’t seem to bother her in the manga, even when she’s flirted with by other characters. she also doesn’t seem to look shy / hide when she wears her swimsuit in official art or puts her hair up in a different hairstyle.
she has a sense of humor & she knows how to smile. i touched on this in like one sentence before, but she does have a sense of humor. it’s just not what you would expect from her -- it’s a bit dark ( such as when she grins when she scares yachi with the vocabulary term “kill block” ) & convoluted ( such as when she clearly goes against her actions by calling out “oikawa-san !!!” in the anime after ignoring him ). obviously, her humor doesn’t register with everyone, & is probably used at unusual / not obvious times, which means that it isn’t always read as humor. but she’s not some kind of humorless, cold robot girl. she just tends to dial back her reactions & behaviors in a more subdued way than other characters.
