This is an uncatalogued Lady Sheaffer with a rhodium flashed engraved barleycorn design cartridge fountain pen c. 1974-78. The section is black with a conical 14 karat gold nib unit stamped SHEAFFER over 14K - 585 over AUSTRALIA.

Another Lady Sheaffer! This one's from the 70s.
Look at that finish! I think it must've sat in a drawer for fifty years because there's not a scratch on it. And the gold zig zag pattern is just so lush!
The 70s models have a few big changes: the nib is inset instead of conical, there's a clip on the cap, and it's long enough to accept a converter so you can use bottled ink.
Also they quit naming them after fabric and just used numbers.
The important things stayed the same: they still write as good as they look, and they look FABULOUS.
