Welcome to Mt. Cavaro! Pt. 2
This mountain plateau was once nothing but a small seasonal hunting town. Over the last 50 years however, developers took notice of the potential of this location and now, it is a bustling upcoming town. Families and sims have moved in droves to start business opportunities or to take advantage of those who are. Some however, are just enjoying the quiet scenic views and good people.
Time to show the families! There are 14 households I will be playing rotationally. I will show them in the order I will play them.
I will add the Family Description I have In-Game and the additional Information from my Excel Document

I will be playing wants based, so the sims have to want something for me to do it. (eg: teen sims will not go to uni unless they have the want to on the day of their age up). I will make some of my own choices for the sims when I see fit, like for example: Vera Flast has the OTH of Music & Dance, so I will pursue the dance career as that is what I believe she would do. Both her and Arthur must go to university because they are from a wealthy family that would enforce this.
LTWs can change up until the sim is 10 days deep in adulthood. Because IRL you wouldn't know what you want forever when you're 15. So it's subject to change if I feel the old LTW doesn't reflect the sim.
I am using custom lifespans:
Babies: 5 days
Toddlers: 10 days
Child: 14 days
Teenagers: 22 days
Adults: 40 days
Elders: 9-30 days
If elders pass away after only 9 days, they would have lived 100 days exactly, if they live to the full 30 days, they will die at 120 days.

The Flast Household

IMPORTANT! Alot of my sims appearances and names are inspired by real world cultures. A lot of these names are real names in said cultures, most of which I am not educated on fully. So if I am using a sims name in an inappropriate or incorrect way- PLEASE let me know so I can fix it asap and if you are able, maybe give me a suggestion of what to change it to :)
I dont exactly know yet how I will be formatting my posts on what happens in each rotation. I could make a post for each individual families week, but that might bog down this blog. The other option is to do a full rotation and post all families in one big post, but that might mean some posts are few and far between. Please give your opinions!
Also, a sidenote: I am INCREDIBLY burnt out from all the building and decorating of this entire hood. So I will not be building my own University/College subhood. I am debating whether or not to just use a Maxis one or looking for one someone else has made that fits the aesthetics of my hood. I will let you guys know in an update post in the near future :)

I got Mela done too Umby is quickly becoming an MPV for me (not surprising Umbreon is MY favorite Pokemon) as I ended up using him again in the Raid and also lead with him in the battle. This time Umby just kept spamming Fould Play until Tokoal ran out and when Revavroom came out I baby doll eyes spammed for two turns until the Revavroom finally knocked Umby out and it let the Drought wear off for Vapor (Vaporeon) to come in and finish Revavroom off in two turns. Somehow Mela decided to use Screech instead of any attacking moves against Vapor
As for the Titan Klawf, i started out with shellder and it was really rough, my shellder fainted easily against the first half of it and so did Chips the Skwovet and I had to bring Buddy, still a Maschiff at the time against it. I try to avoid using Buddy as much as possible since Arven technically wouldn't have Mabostiff at that point, but I had no choice in the matter. His team really is weak at this point. The second time, I did better since I managed to get Klawf all the way to red before it finally knocked Shelk the Shellder and Arven's own shellder out. Form there, a few bites from Chips got the Mystica.
So overall, Penny's route is going well so far, and she can theoretically knock out the Star Bases with little trouble. Arven... no so much, he socks. Then again it could be because I'm intentionally overlevelimg the Eevees because Penny is supposed to be the "strongest" of the Star Bosses so a little overleveling would match that and I definitely don't do it to ridiculous levels (Sylvie, naturally, was the strongest team member and she was lvl 31 to Mela's level cap of 26)
I'm not even bothering with Nemona. I'm sorry. Since I used Spriggatito for my starter, she sucks against the first 2 gyms, but otherwise, it isn't really much to speak of.
Yeah, Arven's team is probably the weakest since he's not supposed to be good at fighting but it sounds like you're going great!

Every plot line in Ninjago would make a banger dnd plot line and I will elaborate but only up to the sky pirate arc because I stopped watching then.
Base Explanation (I’m working off of non homebrew dnd rules except for subclasses)
The Ninjas are all either monks or rougues and humans except for Zane, Lloyd, Wu and Garmadon. Zane obviously gets revealed to be a war forged but the trio I’m leaning towards being tieflings but I’m not completely confident in that. I do have full like deep dive dnd decision for the core cast but this is all the base shit. Rouge Subclasses there’s; Thuderbolt and Arsonist and Monk there’s; frozen fist, electric veined, storm surge, unbroken stone, the four elements (homebrew the homebrew), and mistweaver. The only mutliclassing I would think of is Nya and Jay being Artficiers too. So it Rounds out to a party of 4 monks, nya and wu are helpful npcs, Garmadon is the BBG. Onto the arcs;
The pilot; so the team starts at like lvl 2 so no subclass but some training to explain the like entire first 2 episodes, Kai PC lore drop, introduce the mcguffin of save nya and collect the weapons. And there’s the entire first arc, yippee. They lvl up to 3 and subclasses are unlocked but are still kinda weak. Skeletons are like a classic starter lvl enemy anyway.
Rise of the Snakes; a couple of side quest that introduce Lloyd, players don’t know about Lloyd unlocking the snakes but start running into them, play the snakes as Yuan-Ti and base the lore more around that so still clans but magic instead of just anatomy being funky. Party is maybe lvl 5-6 about half way through, just a lot of side quest that start to connect, I think lvl 5 is when more subclass stuff is unlocked so true potential shit or whatever for lvl 5, the entire Jay is turning into a snake is vampire mechanics but snake flavored. Nya is that one npc that keeps preventing TPKs because the DM is still adjusting the difficulties, she’s an Artifier at the time. Wooo dee do a 5th player is introduced and takes over Lloyd. It’s like when a new player gets introduced and the party spends all their time teaching the newbie.
Rise of the Green Ninja; the training arc that gets bored quickly the the new player wants to be older and not 8 anymore. And oh damn this was the stone warrior arc?? With the overlord?? New BBG?? I don’t remember this part happening so soon but whatever. Lvl like 7-8, they fight god? I’m sure there’s a dnd god similar to the overlord but I don’t remember which one, but the 1st spinjitzu master 100% counts as a Paladin or Cleric’s God, also Garmadon is a warlock with the overlord as his patron that he then betrays for that dramatic father son npc and pc lore that got built up. Shout out the player with premade backstory, I don’t think cole even has a last name. But yeah big cool black dragon fight, they breath acid so it works.
Rebooted; Jay gets starts to take some levels in Artificer, good for him. Lvl like 10, Jay is probably like lvl 7 monk with lvl 3 artificer, also monks can cast Pass without Trace starting at lvl 3 so like, the entire gangs stealth is insane at all times. I don’t really remember the plot of this one but DM is in a sci-fi phase and it shows. They also keep needing to explain the super nerdy stuff so PIXEL is introduced, the party keeps calling her Siri. The overlord is their baby and they will continue to use the same BBG because “look their stat blocks are already set up and I barley have to change anything anyway!”. The main Yuan-Ti leader is back (Pythor or whatever his name was) Zane dies, they don’t have a healer, tpks get closer every boss battle. IRL vibes of the player having to temporarily quite and using being a war forged as an excuse on how they could probably come back.
Tournament of Elements; Zane’s player is back but not fully, they had a break and the DM made way to many possible PCs if they ever get to play, Tournament of Elements is brought on. Who doesn’t love the vibes of mysteries with weird challenges and people. Player v. player action, some intense ass role play because Kai’s Player developed a backstory beyond ‘dead parents’ with DM. Zane is back officially and the player got new art and keeps asking Siri questions about mechanics, hi PIXEL. Dragons are back from the og transports when the DM got rid of them after being like “hm, kinda op”, they got tired of the cool transport getting fucked up.
Possession: Me after watching any horror media. DM learned about the Call of Cthulhu system and wanted to steal the vibe, they also keep finding a ton of wind monk subclasses and their inner emo of maker is craving. Morro keeps getting called MCR and Lloyd’s player needed a break, Cole’s dice are cursed and are now in dice jail, the ghost mechanics drive him insane, same with the DM but they can’t admit defeat. TPK almost happened again so Kai’s player and the DM conspire again to get Nya more lore to help out. Girlboss time for her. Ronin is the DM’s other emo oc but this one is cool but also still a wet cat. Airjitzu mechanics took years off the DMs life that ended with just “roll the dice for luck to see if it works and how high”, they’re trying but also did this to their self
Skybound: DM found the Genies in the Monster Manual and just rewatched Pirates of the Caribbean. Jay’s player wanted to rewrite some backstory and the DM is just tired at this point, Improv can only take them so far. The big buff lady is the DMs saving grace of mentality. The Dm had to cancel a session because of a wedding and they regretted going and made it all the players problem. Cold is still a ghost and neither the DM nor the players have figured the mechanics of fixing that yet. The layers of reality pages in the DM’s Manual have been abused throughly. There a chalkboard with a list of wishes that have been made. Nya dies but everyone gets pissed so the DM bs’s a way to that she can comeback only to rewrite time.
And that is in my professional opinion of dming for around 3-4 years now and haven’t watched a single episode of Ninjago since like the movie came out. I do also have a full thought process on the cooler character sheet breakdown I might explain someday.

Chapter 2 : "The Succession of Breeding"
3-1-24, Day 133
"It was another nice day in The Cult of Midsummonar where after a Successful Day of Vday with Lambert matchmaking his Wife Samantha with one of the many followers whom she easily became fast friends to instant Lovers/GFs Together which was Mrs.Midge Butterfree Bloodsucker(Yep their Married Now with them planning for Motherhood as Lesbian Parents) The Purple Couple already had to think before going instantly into Parenthood without realizing how hard & tough it can be esp in a Cult but Thankfully Lambert being his Caring, Wise Self as Leader felt pretty confident in Sammi & Midgey's First Breeding Session Together..
Sammi was in a New Outfit which was a accidental outfit change by her Lovely Leader Lamby due to Heket asking for a Wedding Dress and accidentally chose his Fav Wife's Current Wedding Gown by changing it's color from Purple to Yellow/Bright Gold kind of Color Scheme.
But Days Later Sammi adores her new color for her Dress which Lambert is pretty glad to hear from her which Heket herself likes Sammi in Yellow since she feels it fits her personality pretty well.
Lambert had already Brought Both Sammi & Midge towards The Mating Tent by hurrying pretty excited about the Succession or Possible Faling of The 2 Girls first ever mating tent breeding to create a baby together at least in Surragocy.
Sammi looked at Lambert pretty nervous but kind of excited to see the outcome of her & midge's relationship becoming 2nd lvl & future married couple. her head was filled with small sweating drops with the batdemon grabbing a hankerchief to wipe the sweat on her forehead.
S : Uh Lamby? Can i ask you something before were ready?
Lambert quickly turned around to hear Sammi ask him something
L : Oh yeah Sammi of course, what's you wanna tell me..
S : Well, I feel pretty grateful for me and midge mating together and starting a sweet surrogate family together. because it feels like a 2nd chance for my own kind to survive and thrive and no longer becoming excinct and i just wanna thank you for just.. Everything! i love you lamby.
L : Aww Your very Welcome Honey, I love you too!
Midge then looked at her GF and seen if she was ready for the tent?
M : Hey Sammi, ya ready?
Samantha smiled at her GF Midge happily & passionately and finally responded with a sweet : yes i am! back to her.
Lambert waved at the 2 girls as a form of good luck to them in hopes of the mating success..
A few mins later..
Lambert was pacing back & forth as if as nervous first-time parent would and soon saw Sammi & Midge both nude in leaves smiling rather blissfully & freespirited like coming out of the tent!
Lambert's Thoughts : "Oh my God!, they.. they did it!
Lambert then ran up to both girls with Sammi happily holding and nestling their egg her & midge created together!
S : *yawns* that.. was incredible.. wow..
M : Ditto Sammi!
L : So it was a success i see, i'm so happy for you two!
All Three formed a group hug and soon enough, it was night once again but with Sammi & Midge's Egg resting, awaiting the arrival of the first baby cultist of Lamb's Cult!

December '23 FEH Refine Theorycraft
Hello Hello. It's December and we are getting refines, like every month. No remixes this month, so it's just five units, one GHB, one 3-4 star, and one Special unit. This last one being a duo unit, or trio? Let's talk this trio.
Palla: Sisterly Trio
Lvl. 40 5 ☆ 40/39/31/33/24 Max Invest 50/49/40/43/34
Whitedown Spear: Grants Atk+3. If the number of flying units on team ≥ 3 and unit initiates combat, inflicts Atk/Def-4 on foe during combat and unit makes a guaranteed follow-up attack. If the number of flying allies within 2 spaces ≥ 2 and unit initiates combat, unit attacks twice.
Reposition - Mirror Impact - Chill Atk/Spd 2 - Goad Fliers
Duo Skill: Unit and adjacent flying allies can move 1 extra space. (Unit can move 1 extra space even if adjacent ally is not a flying ally. That turn only. Does not stack.) (Can trigger again on odd-numbered turns)
The Whitewing sisters are here, and are babies. Est more than the others. So uh, I guess they have Triangle Attack, before [triangle attack]. . . . what do I fix?
Whitedown Spear: Grants Atk+3. If unit initiates combat or within 2 spaces of an ally, inflicts Atk/Def-X on foe during combat (X = 5 + number of flying allies on team, Max 8) and unit makes a guaranteed follow-up attack. If the number of flying allies within 2 spaces ≥ 2 and unit initiates combat, unit attacks twice.
Like with so many weapons, you can't lock the main effect of the weapon behind strict team based conditions. I have gave her Player Phased Standard (If unit initiates combat or within 2 spaces of an ally) and then made the "number of flier allies on team" a bonus to the reduced Atk/Def on foe. The brave attack is left, even though it's redundant with the next part.
At start of turn, if unit is within 2 spaces of any ally, grants "unit can move to a space adjacent to an ally within 2 spaces" and 【Triangle Attack】 to unit and allies within 2 spaces. If unit is within 3 spaces of an ally, inflict Atk/Def-5 on foe during combat, and neutralizes effects that prevent unit's follow-up attacks or inflict "Special cooldown charge -X" on unit.
Hey, it's Bridal! Catria, but blue. I figured, since 【Schism】 is a new penalties that counters [Triangle Attack], we can get another [Triangle Attack] user. Best of all, she can still brave attack if she or her flying allies didn't receive the [Triangle Attack] bonus at the start of turn, due to the team splitting off. The warping is also there for when her Dou button is unavailable. I was going to give her [Charge] but we got other fliers for that. Additionally, I made it so she get's the offensive halves of NFU and Tempo, as an edge over Bridal! Catria's Accelerate Specials Trigger.

Eleonora: Shooting Starlet
Mirage Longbow: Effective against flying foes. Grants Spd+3. If unit’s Spd > foe’s Spd, foe cannot counterattack. If unit initiates combat or is within 2 spaces of an ally, grant Atk/Spd +6 to unit during combat.
If unit initiates combat, inflict Spd/Def-6 on foe, grant damage = 15% of unit’s Spd, and after combat, if unit deals effective damage against foe or unit’s Spd > foe’s Spd +10, inflict [Exposure] and “foe cannot counterattack” on target and the nearest foes within 2 spaces until the end of their next action, and grant unit [Pathfinder] for 1 turn.
I may need to add Phantom Spd to make all those Spd checks work. And I was adapting the Session effect from TMS to make attacking with an effective attack leave the foes open to team wipes. Gullveig and Kvasir seem to sweep teams just fine, thou.
Shannan: Wielder of Astra
Balmung: Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). Grants Spd+3. If foe initiates combat or if foe’s HP ≥ 75% at start of combat, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 to unit and neutralizes penalties on unit during combat.
At start of combat, if unit’s HP ≥ 25%, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 to unit and neutralizes effects that guarantee foe’s follow up attacks or grant "Special cooldown charge +X” to foe during combat, and also, If unit’s Spd > foe’s Spd, reduces damage from attacks during combat and from area-of-effect Specials (excluding Røkkr area-of-effect Specials) by percentage = difference between stats × 4 (max 40%).
Ha, I gave him the defensive halves NFU and Tempo. I was crazy back then.
Rath: Wolf of Sacae
Sacaean Sacaen-Wolf Bow: Effective against flying foes. Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). If foe’s HP ≥ 75%, grant Atk/Spd+5 and +7 damage when Special triggers (excluding area of effect Specials).
If unit’s HP ≥ 25%, grant Atk/Spd+5 to unit during combat neutralize penalties to unit’s Atk/Spd during combat.
This was made back when Python got the short end of the stick. Throw in NFU or Tempo or even DR Piercing Specials.
Iago: Nohr’s Tactician
Iago’s Tome: Grants Res+3. At start of odd-numbered turns, if any foe’s HP ≤ unit’s HP-1 and that foe is adjacent to another foe, inflicts Atk/Spd-6 and 【Guard】 on that foe. At start of even-numbered turns, if any foe’s HP ≤ unit’s HP-1 and that foe is adjacent to another foe, inflicts Def/Res-6 and 【Panic】 on that foe. At start of combat, if unit’s HP ≥ 25%, grant Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 to unit during combat.
At start of combat, if 【Penalty】 is active on foe, foe’s HP ≤ 99%, or unit’s HP ≥ 50%, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 to unit, inflicts Atk/Spd/Def/Res-X on foe (X = highest penalty on each stat between target and foes within 2 spaces of target; calculates each stat penalty independently), unit makes a guaranteed follow-up attack during combat, and also, if this unit’s HP ≥ foe’s HP+5 at the start of combat and foe’s attack can trigger foe’s Special, inflicts Special cooldown count+1 on foe before foe’s first attack during combat (cannot exceed foe’s maximum Special cooldown).

LVL Ever After: The Final Part

PART NINE: NEW MISTAKES, NEW OPPORTUNITIES
With the big (not so) bad of the series finally revealed, everyone begins to actually live their lives with some sense for once. Or this is how you manage your expectations after finding out you’re going to be having a child, and how the other two manage themselves after finding out they’re not going to be having a child.

Lance leaned back in his bed, shaking his shoulders against the pile of pillows behind him. He was holding his phone to his ear, where it just kept ringing and ringing. He closed his eyes and waited for the answer, sighing when he heard a sharp beep between rings.
Pulling his phone back to look at the screen, he saw Lando’s name come up. Lance quickly tapped the red button to decline his call. Putting his phone on speaker as it kept ringing, Lance dropped it on to his chest so he could cross his arms over his eyes.
“Hello, little brother.” Chloe’s voice came through way too chipper for someone who left him ringing on the line for so long.
Normally, Lance found calling his sister one of the most relaxing parts of the day. But today, like most days lately, he’s woken up with a thorn in his side, and every time he thought he’d gotten his hands on it, it just sunk deeper and deeper, making him feel more and more irritated.
“Hello?”
“Hi.” He bit out.
“Is everything okay?”
“Yes, why?”
“Well,” his sister dragged out, “you called me and you sound pretty grumpy. Wanna talk about it?”
Yes, Chloe, my ex-girlfriend who fucked two other drivers turned up pregnant, and left us all in suspense as she figured out who fucked a baby in her. And now I know it’s not mine and I don’t know how the fuck to feel.
“No.” Lance answered, finally paying attention to the edge in his voice, “I don’t know, Chloe, I just woke up in a shitty mood.”
“Did something happen recently?”
I became friends with my rival, who was one of the drivers she was fucking, by the way, and now Lando and I are super cool and get trashed together on race weekends, but now we also hang out during the day, like we got breakfast together- that was after I went to a clinic to get my blood taken for a paternity test with him.
“No.” He sighed.
“Did someone say something that upset you?”
Nope. Absolutely nothing, cause I never opened up my mouth to ask. I didn’t ask who the father was and I’ve been too chicken shit to ask Lando if it’s him, so instead I’m just not talking to him. What if it is Lando? I don’t know if I can stand to look at him if he’s knocked her up.
“No.”
“Are you mad with anyone?” She pushed.
Mostly myself, both cause I’m going about this wrong, and because I felt like I couldn’t ask. Like I would feel guilty asking. She didn’t offer the information, and really, what claim did I have to it aside from the fact that it wasn’t me? And, fuck, Lando-
“No.” He sighed again.
“Lance, if you keep sighing, you’re gonna turn your hair white like Dad.”
Lance huffed out a laugh, “I know, I know, M’just stressed.”
The past few months have made me realize a lot about myself, and now things are changing so quickly and the way I feel about things is changing and it’s scary, and right now it’s fun scary because I haven’t done anything about it and its exciting thinking of doing something about it, but it’s also super stressful.
Chloe put on a bright tone, she was always trying to cheer her brother up and usually it worked, “Well, work it out. And when you’re ready to actually tell me what’s eating at you, will you call me, please?”
When I figure out how to make myself not sound like a complete idiot, I’ll call you, Lance thought as he made a sound of agreement, not trusting himself to speak.
“Alright, I love you.” She always ended their calls this way.
“Love you too.”

You walked down your steps and pushed your door open, waving to Daniel before turning around and locking up.
You weren’t nervous, but you did feel sick. Little waves of lightheadedness and nausea washed over you for the past few hours. You knew it wasn’t your baby, she only made you sick in the morning. You were pretty sure it was just the fact that you were seeing Daniel. He was taking you to your appointment today.
You rubbed your hands against your baby blue peacoat, smoothing down the suede material as you stared down at your light grey booties. Your black jeans were a little light washed, but they were the only ones that were comfortable. You weren’t quite at the point of needing maternity clothes, but the discomfort you felt every time you tried to button any other pair of pants was beginning to feel threatening.
“Hello,” Daniel’s happy tone washed over you and made you smile big at him as you settled into the passenger seat, “how are the two of you today?”
You giggled at the now familiar greeting. Ever since you’d told him two weeks ago that the baby was his, he was always asking how ‘the both of you’ were. It was cute and endearing.
“We’re good.” You scrunched your nose, “A little nervous.”
“Why?”
“First time I’ve brought someone with me to one of these.”
Daniel’s jaw went a little slack as he came to a stop at a red light, “Seriously? You’ve been going to all these doctor’s appointments alone?”
You nodded nonchalantly, “Well, yeah.”
You watched as his jaw clenched before he took a glance at you, “Well, not anymore.”
Daniel turned up the music, his soft melodic alternative tunes filling the car’s silence as he drove.
Peeking at him with your peripheral vision, you took in how Daniel’s jaw was still clenched, and how his lips kept twitching. In the past two weeks, you’d met up with Daniel for dinners, went for walks together, drives, you name it. You’d been really trying to build a friendship.
Which had been a bit of surprise when you’d come out of your room two weeks ago after telling Lando and Lance that they weren’t the father of your baby, more than ready to jump Daniel, and you two didn’t have sex.
Instead, he talked to you all night long on that couch in your living room. He had been respectful, kind, charming and seemed adamant on getting to know you better and better.
It made you feel special.
And it gave you a closer look as to who he was. And the one thing you’d noticed straight away was that Daniel was an emotional man, and his emotions were always worn on his face. When he was happy, or trying to feign happiness, the big smile was on his face, but his jaw and his eyes always gave him away. You’d learned that his eyes would crinkle when he meant his smile, and he’d clench his jaw when he was mad.
Daniel was mad right now.
But you knew it wasn’t at you. You both had made strict communication rules the night you told him he was the baby’s father, and so far, Daniel had been good at making sure to stick to them. He had even pushed you more than once to talk through the things you felt when you were around him. You’d joke and tell him that he owed Michael Italiano more than just for his body, but the truth was that you felt lighter, you felt let mentally heavy being with Daniel.
Some things were still in the air, but for now, this was enough. This was working.
You reached forward and turned down the bluetooth speakers. “What’re you upset at?”
Daniel exhaled through his nose and kept his eyes on the road as he answered you, “I don’t like that you’ve been stuck doing this alone. That those two jerks knew way before me and still had you doing it alone. It annoys me.”
You reached for his elbow and pulled one of his arms away from where it gripped the steering wheel. Pulling it over the center console, you intertwined your fingers and squeezed gently.
“I’m not doing it alone anymore.”
Daniel pulled into a parking spot one handed and kept his foot on the break as he looked right at you, “No, you’re not.”
He kept your gaze as he lifted your hand to his mouth and kissed it, before winking at you and putting the car in park.
Even though he let go of your hand to get out of the car, it didn’t stay lonely for long. True to his word and his intentions, Daniel held your hand in his across the parking lot and into the doctor’s office. You didn’t so much as glance at him the whole walk and wait inside, because you didn’t want him to see how hard you were smiling. You normally felt nauseous coming here alone, but now your stomach was settled.
Our daughter knows her dad’s here, you thought wistfully, your eyes filling with tears.
“Fuck,” you muttered, rubbing your eyes.
“Don’t worry,” Daniel mumbled back to you, lifting your hand to kiss your knuckles, “we’ll be alright.”
Your head turned away from him as you tried to get a hold of yourself, your oblivious companion had no idea what he was saying to you and how it completely melted your hormonally fried brain.

The doctor’s appointment had gone well, and both you and Daniel were in a bit of a haze leaving. You drove home in silence too.
The ultrasound had been turned towards the both of you, and witnessing Daniel see her for the first time had been overwhelming. The way he seemed to lock his eyes on the screen, and the way he stroked your knuckles as you both listened to her little heartbeat.
It was finally starting to feel like she was something worth celebrating. There were no more bad feelings, no more sour moods, everything was beautiful and light and you had this amazing man next to you getting choked up at this weird sonar sounding heartbeat.
It was perfect.
You wordlessly walked up the stairs, Daniel trailing behind you. You could feel the folded up layers of the various ultrasound pictures the doctor had allowed you to print, it almost felt as heavy as the ever growing, tugging sensation in the pit of your stomach.
This is our daughter, you thought for the thousandth time.
You shrugged off your coat, throwing it on a loveseat before standing in front of the couch that Daniel had practically collapsed on to. He wore one of his hoodies, the material soft and warm, and flashes of you wearing the mint material and being able to fill it out and maybe even stretch it filled your mind.
“What are you thinking?” You asked.
Daniel looked at you, not quite smiling, still in the trance you’d both been in together, “How lucky I am.” He murmured back.
Like magnets finally being let go of on opposite planes, you walked towards Daniel with a purpose, crossing the room in time as he leaned back against the couch. When the race weekend came, Lance had been on the first plane out. Anxious to get back to some resemblance of normal, he’d arrived two days earlier than he had to and anxiously awaited the hours until he could actually go to the track.

You were nothing but another face to him, and while it sounded cruel, it was true. He didn’t fear running into you anymore. The past two weeks of knowing that the baby wasn’t his gave him real clarity, real finality in the mess that had been your relationship. He’d taken responsibility for his part, he’d unpacked it, he’d worked on himself.
Lance knew he had to talk to Lando, but decided he’d wait. This wasn’t the conversation to have on a race weekend. He cursed himself for not doing it earlier. Lance knew himself well enough to know that if he found out you were pregnant with Lando’s baby through social media, he’d be upset. He had to face it.
And while he was still a little anxious, it was bone crushing pressure that you used to make him feel. This feeling he felt, it was a rush of adrenaline and it was really all Lando’s fault. He felt like he had to still be on his toes.
He felt new.
No more running from things that upset him. No more hiding.
At least, until he saw two familiar orange hats.
Lance ducked beside one of the hospitality set ups, and behind a tire stack. He was pretty sure no one had saw him. But then again, if Lance had quick enough reflexes to recognize you all, Daniel and Lando definitely did to recognize him. Embarrassingly, Lance found himself peeking over the tires, watching as the three of you passed by.
You were walking down the cement with Daniel and Lando, strolling along the paddock. He tried to gauge your body language, tried to see how close Daniel or Lando were walking next to you. Just anything he could to understand what was going on.
He was really regretting not reaching out to Lando.
So he sat squatted behind the tire stack, watching for anything that would tell him what he wanted to know, and coming up with nothing. He wasn’t hiding from you, and seeing Daniel reminded him of the nice apology he had accepted from him a week ago. No one could stay mad at the honey badger.
I’ll apologize to her, someday.
He was kind of relieved he spent the two weeks off having his little existential crisis about who he was and how he was feeling to finally capture the whole point. He didn’t want to be the father, but he didn’t want Lando to be the father either. Best case scenario to him was Daniel.
Seems fair that we both would be rid of this whole mess, he thought.
Lance felt a little bit of hope bloom in his chest as his mind reasoned that Lando would’ve definitely called him if he was the father. But then again, maybe not. If Lando was still looking to ‘win’ against Lance, he might have enjoyed stringing him along just to get the last laugh.
But a baby would never be a last laugh to Lando.
Lando and him had a history, a long standing rivalry that got out of hand. The invisible barrier between on and off track had been blown to smithereens and the fault fell on both of them. Lando and him had been in this from the start, had weaved this intricate web that he now recognized they trapped you in. They made you feel like you had no one else but the two of them, and that couldn’t have felt nice.
Lando was a pain in the ass, sure. He was dry, and bratty, but he also had an air of confidence that Lance admired. All in all, he was good for Lance. He pushed the Canadian to stand up for himself, to change himself, to be more flexible to those around him. He pushed him to be better, and he hadn’t had a friend like that since before karting.
But now, Lando and him had warped their relationship, forged it into something healthier for the both of them. A friendship that made him feel better on track, and off it.
And he really didn’t want to fuck it up, and he got the feeling from the Brit that he didn’t either.
He stayed squatted there until he couldn’t see the orange hats anymore, and even then he stayed for another few moments.
“Hey, mate. You good?”
Lance popped up just to catch a Haas mechanic looking at him. Glancing at the tire stack, he finally noticed the team logo on it.
“Ah, yeah!” He squeaked a little too fast, “Just tying my shoes.”

“Alright, I’m gonna leave Mom and Dad now.” Lando sighed, looking at you and Daniel before branching off in the other direction.
You choked on a laugh, reaching to shove Lando but he was already too far away, “Where are you off to?” You called after him.
“Gotta take care of something.” He screamed back.
Daniel nudged your shoulder, “Bet he forgot his pass or something in his motorhome.”
You both walked in the other direction, your backs turned to the motorhome section that Lando was headed towards.
“I can’t believe he’s calling us Mom and Dad.” You mumbled to Daniel, your shoulders brushing as you ducked into the McLaren garage.
Daniel laughed like he did when Lando first said it, obviously way too high on the fact of being a father than Lando’s jabs. You followed him silently into his driver’s room, collapsing on the couch and slinking down in it so you were slouching comfortably.
“Feeling heavy today?” Daniel asked, rummaging through his gear bag.
“Yeah,” you sighed, rubbing your hands on your lower tummy, “I’m waiting for the day I wake up and she’s just...” you held your hands out curved in front of you.
Your bump may not have been noticeable quite yet, but recently, you’d been able to feel it under your palms. Your little girl. I understand why all the pregnant women I’ve seen have always had their hands on their tummies, you thought.
“Me too.”
You looked up at the dreamy expression on Daniel’s face, dubbed ‘Baby’s Face’ in your head. Daniel was obsessed with your little girl already, and it was so sweet, and so endearing, and so, so, hot. Things had been good between the two of you, and you were forced to look away from him when you felt yourself getting physically hot, flashes from a few days ago going through your mind.
Slow and steady, you reminded yourself.
“Have you, uh,” Daniel looked away from you, and sat at the table across from the couch, “have you thought anymore about what we talked about the other day?”
Oh for fuck’s sake, your mood soured, which made you more grumpy since you’d really been enjoying your day.
“Daniel,” you started, trying to keep your tone neutral, “we have so much time to figure it out.”
“I just want to know what we’re doing,” Daniel repeated himself for the hundredth time, “what you want to do.”
You nodded, looking down at your sneaker laced feet.
“Cause the end of the season is coming, my mom has been asking for more than just a FaceTime meet, and you know, eventually you won’t be able to fly, so we kinda have to-”
“Daniel,” you interrupted, “I really can’t have this conversation today, there’s just so much going on. Can we talk about this on a non-race weekend?”
“Why don’t you want to go to Australia?”
You sighed, finally giving in and expressing what you were feeling inside. “I do want to go to Australia, Daniel, I’m just not sure if I want to have our baby there.”
“We’d have my family, and the farm, and the seclusion, it’s not like London.” Daniel argued, “And there’s no way you’re having the baby in Monaco.”
“Fuck that.” You muttered in agreement, getting a smirk from Dan.
“So it’s London or Perth.”
“What about LA?” You asked, laughing out loud when Daniel’s face went blank and his eyes glazed over for a moment, “I’m kidding, babe, relax.”
“We have to decide.” Daniel pushed.
“And clearly you’ve casted your vote.”
“I do want to be in Perth.” Daniel insisted, “I want to be with my family, on my farm, in my house, with our baby. You said it yourself, you’re not close with family, you only have friends in London-”
“Yeah, but that doesn’t mean it’s not home for me.”
“But it’s not home for me.” Daniel countered.
You raised your voice and counted off all of Daniel’s points on your fingers, “So let’s go to your country, to your family, to your farm, to your house so I can have your baby.” You held your palm out and tilted your head, “That’s a lot of yours.”
“I want it to be yours too! And hers.”
“But you don’t get it. I don’t know anyone there, I don’t know Australia, aside from Melbourne I’ve never even really been there.”
“Isn’t that how it was when you got to London?”
“Yes, but-”
“But what?” Daniel countered, “I’d really like my family to know my baby, and I’d really like for my home to be our daughter’s home. You really think we’re going to be comfortable in your flat with no help?”
“Do you think I’m going to be comfortable having a baby in a brand new place with people I don’t know?”
He looked at you and bit his lip, collecting his thoughts before responding to you, “It would be easier and you know it as well as I do. I have a home just waiting for us, every part of you coming to Australia makes perfect sense.”
“So my opinion doesn’t matter?”
“I didn’t say that.”
“You didn’t have to!”
A knock at the door broke the intensity around you, and the door shoved open. Michael peeked his head around the doorway before ducking into the room, “Uh, two of you are getting kinda loud.”
Daniel cursed under his breath.
“Yeah, sorry, I’m leaving.”
Without a single glance at Daniel, you pushed yourself up off the couch, walked around Michael and out the door.
“What the fuck was that?” Michael asked as he took your spot across from Daniel.
Daniel leaned back against the wall, turning sideways so his narrow body fit between the back of his chair and the table top, “She won’t give in to going to Perth, it’s driving me crazy.”
“She’ll come around, mate.”
“Nah,” Dan huffed, “she’s mad cause she doesn’t know Perth, or my family or the farm, but doesn’t get that this isn’t just about where our daughter’s born, but where I want our family to be, the three of us.”
“Did you tell her that?” Daniel looked away and shook his head, making Michael laugh, “Well that’s just peachy.”
“Go ahead, tell me how I’m being an idiot.”
“You’re not being an idiot, mate, you’re just not seeing the full picture.” Michael leaned his elbows forward on his knees, “She’s used to being on her own, and now you’re telling her to come be a part of a family, a big family, in a new place, you’re pulling her into your world.”
“Isn’t that the point of us being together? So we can make it our world?”
“Not when you ain’t made anything real yet.”
“We made a baby.” Daniel joked.
Michael got up and clapped his friend on the shoulder, “Just don’t push, and try to see this from her point of view. That’s a lot of change she’s going through, and you’re asking her to free fall into your world head first, I reckon I’d be scared too.”

Lance had scurried off to his motorhome after the awkward Haas encounter. He wasn’t needed for a few hours so he had time to kill. It was the perfect opportunity to take a power nap and Lance never wasted those on a race weekend.
He was practically skipping as his motorhome came into view. He chuckled as he saw the Canadian flag hanging off the overhead of the sun shade thing. The team was always finding a way to tease his nationality, namely his accent. Which was funny in and of itself, because to him, the whole team had accents, but he was really the lone Canadian.
Lance pulled his door open and took the few steps two at a time, almost falling back down them as he took in Lando on the couch.
“Jesus Christ, Lando,” he picked his water bottle up from where he’d dropped it, still one hand clutching his chest, “what are you doing in here?”
“Oh, you know, just making sure you’re alive.”
Oh.
“Yeah, I’m sorry mate, I...” his train of thought floated away as Lando’s eyes narrowed at him.
“What are you sorry for, mate?” He hissed out ‘mate’, the gritting of his teeth making the smile he forced on his face pretty sinister.
“Lando, I wanted to talk to you but I just-”
“You were too busy partying over not being a daddy?” He bit out.
“No, not at all!” Lance countered, feeling his temper rise, “Lando, I was-”
“You were busy for three weeks while you were posting online about being at home on your couch?”
That shut Lance right up. He couldn’t believe Lando was taking his silence so personally. He had seen Lando petty before, but never like this. It kinda made him giggle, the thought that Lando was upset about being ignored by him.
“Oh, Lando.” Lance huffed out, his smile erupting with giggles.
“What exactly is so funny?” Lando yelled, leaning forward in his seat and holding out his arms, “I could’ve been dead and you wouldn’t have known.”
“I know now!” Lance joked.
“Unbelievable, you are.” Lando drawled as he stood and walked towards Lance, “You just pretend to give a shit cause you wanted to see who would end up fucked in the end?”
“Oh, yeah, I’m sure.” Lance’s smile dropped as he felt insulted by the insinuation, “I don’t pretend to give a shit about people, that’s more your forte.”
“Yes, Lance, cause I’m here cause I don’t give a shit.”
“Well?” He held his arms out, “Let’s get this over with.”
Lando gave him the most disgusted what the fuck face as he stood a mere two feet from the taller driver.
“Are you,” his voice getting softer with each word, “are you the father?”
Lando scoffed, “Are you serious? She didn’t tell you?”
“Lando!” Lance’s fists squeezed at his sides.
Both men stared each other down in the center of the room. Standing a foot from each other, Lando stared up at Lance like he was the taller one, a smirk playing on his smug face. Lance felt a buzzing in his body, like all the anticipation was mounting to this moment, here, now.
“S’Daniel’s.” Lando muttered, the only phrase he’d said in the motorhome that wasn’t dipped in poison.
“Thank fuck.”
Lance grabbed Lando by the face and pulled the Brit to him, placing his lips on Lando’s and throwing caution to the wind. And he wasn’t disappointed.
Cause Lando made a noise, but then he was pulling Lance closer, and when Lance reached for his waist, Lando flinched, moving away from his mouth for a moment before pushing back on his toes to kiss him. Lance smiled against his mouth smugly as he stepped chest to chest with Lando, his arms wrapping around Lando’s small waist as his his head leaned down to meet Lando’s lips.
His victory was short lived, cause just as quickly as he felt in charge, he lost it.
Lando pulled on his shoulders, manhandling Lance until he turned him. When Lando’s tongue rubbed against his, Lando held Lance’s face in his hands as he pushed the taller man back, pushing him down the hallway as their teeth, lips and tongues clashed.
Everything was sloppy, but good. The two of them fell in sync even with the height difference as Lance backed up as Lando pushed him. When the back of his knees hit the plush surface of his bed, he dropped back, looking up at Lando expectedly.
Lando looked at him, mouth swollen but smirking as he pulled his hoodie over his head.
“About fucking time.” Lando muttered before climbing on top of him.

The Patterson Legacy - 1.2
Last time our founder, Ona Patterson, got an ‘eXtreme start’ digging for treasure so she could afford to eat and more importantly, feed her cat, Coco. She got a job in Culinary and got her first promotion. And she met not one, but two True Loves!
Ona buys herself a little community lot to start her own business. At the moment its just another little shack for the town to hang out at, but it will become the family business.
Sadly, one of Ona’s True Loves passes away. RIP Consort Capp.
Ona decides to adopt a stray, Ferdinand, to hopefully become a mate for Coco. Ferdinand is a Gemini and he’s Hyper, Aggressive, and Pigpen.
Between running the business, adopting cats and working, Ona is exhausted. She passes out in a puddle on cat pee after work. Whoops!
Speaking of the cats...they’re not exactly getting along. In fact, they’ve become enemies. Coco loses a fight with Ferdinand and runs away!
In happier news, Ona gets a chance to invite Dickson over before work one day. She proposes to him and he says yes!
Dickson brings in $18,000! Woo!
Dickson Garth is a Sagittarius (2/3/9/7/4). He’s sloppy, shy, very active, and playful.
He’s a Knowledge Sim with the lifetime want to Become a Mad Scientist (but he’s currently in the Business career as a President (lvl 8).
Dickson’s turned on by rich sims, and glasses. Ona’s not rich, but at least he likes her glasses! He’s turned off by blonde hair.
His top interests at the moment are Politics and Money.
Dickson discovers straight away, by tending to the literal Family Tree (Lemons in case you’re curious) that his hobby is Nature.
With Dickson’s money, they can actually afford to start building a proper house with indoor plumbing and everything. What luxury!
Ona wanted to gain a skill and she needed creativity for work, so she begins painting. Turns out her hobby is Arts and Crafts.
That skill point helps Ona get promoted to Fast Food Shift Manager! Way to go Ona!
Since her hobby is arts and crafts, Ona wanted to buy a Flower Arranging Bench and try her hand at selling bouquets she makes in her business.
Ona gets a hobby chance card at work. Being the Arts and Crafts lover that she is, she of course chooses to wear her Halloween costume to work (I did roll a die to choose haha!) and earns an extra $100.
Coco has come back home, but she and Ferdinand are still very much not getting along. Probably time to look elsewhere for a mate for Coco...
These two are engaged, but don’t seem to want to tie the know officially. They do however want some woohoo, so I make them try for baby!
And literally 2 seconds later the burglar arrives. Great. They don’t have a burglar alarm yet! Luckily the only thing the burglar takes is a rug I found in Dickson’s inventory, so not a big deal!
Welp, this means Ona’s pregnant! Generation 2 is on the way.
And there’s more good news as Ona’s business gets a good review!
I’m looking forward to meeting Ona and Dickson’s first baby! I’m kind of on the fence about making this a Matriarchy but I guess I better decide soon.

The StoryBook Legacy Challenge
Each Generation is a new Chapter in the Book of Lives.
Overall Rules and Notes:
Lifespan: Normal
If you choose to make Same Sex Couples, make sure your Heir is set on Get Pregnant and the partner is set on Make Pregnant.
Even though there is Occult Children in this Legacy, they are not part of the Legacy Line. Abduction babies don’t count as eligible for Heir decisions.
Read Story for the next Generation, important for the Heir’s Childhood
Each heir must Practise Writing (PC or writing in journal) till they can write “non-fiction” books.
They must write a book named after their Generation’s title.
All these Book, plus urns must be kept in the heir’s inventory till last generation.
The last Generation’s Heir will have a mausoleum where the books and urns will be displayed.
Books should be written as elders, put all the children and Spouses/ Partners names in description.
If heir dies from accidental of emotional deaths before elder or before they could write the book, one of their children or partner can write it.
Money: You can choose how you want to play the family funds.

Legion Rewatch Notes,
Chapter 7:
The King In Yellow
Walter’s really putting his all into that whistling.
Kerry ended up losing Walter eventually. But I guess she was chased out of her hiding place by the zombies.
Theory: Much like how David feels most stable and confident when Syd’s around, Kerry feels most stable and confident when Cary’s around. She’s much less likely to lose a fight or get scared if Cary is in the vicinity. This would also explain why she feels so betrayed that Cary left her in Mental Clockworks. She works best when he’s around (power of love and all that) so when he’s not around she constantly feels like she’s on the ropes. Maybe only subconsciously though.
Lenny says “Hey” a lot.
So Farouk... actually seems distressed here. This is him at his least chill. He’s just shoved a person he actually cares about into a corner of their mind cause he just couldn’t understand them, the dream he’s created is collapsing and he has no plan on how to deal with it (rare for Farouk), and the location of his own body (his temple) is still lost to him after all this time.
Also, there’s apparently no specific place it could be. Farouk’s body could be anywhere on the globe. I guess he and everyone who knows about is aware that he could come back to his body if he knows where it is?
Even though it’s pointed out a lot I’ll also note that Charles is in his wheelchair in Amy’s flashback. And given future/past events (confusing, I know) this either means Farouk is the one who put him in a wheelchair, or whatever caused it happened between defeating Farouk and giving away baby David. And there’s... really not a lot of time in between those 2 events.
As we’ve seen before, while Farouk can probably see into Oliver’s ice cube residents, he can’t actually go inside or do anything to Oliver (or his guest) while he’s in there.
Farouk doesn’t want the dream to end until he’s located his body.
Cary is used to finishing Oliver’s sentences.
Cary and Oliver think very alike. The biggest difference between them I suppose is Oliver’s reality bending powers.
David never agreed to the barbershop quartet but Oliver put his name down anyways.
I never caught this before, but the thing that makes it obvious to Cary is the fact that the parasite called itself “King”. Before when watching this I thought “it’s just a name,” but I guess the point is... what other villain would be so hubris filled as to advertise who they are so openly. It speaks to the brazenness of Farouk. If Charles had ever checked back and found out David was talking to some invisible friend named “King” Farouk woulda been discovered then and there. I can only assume this means the name “King” was taunt of sorts. A joke only Farouk was in on. Not to mention, Farouk probably would never have settled for a name any less dignifying.
Oliver doesn’t remember any of his past friends, but he does remember Farouk. I wonder, did him and Cary hear about Farouk before or after Charles defeated him? Farouk hasn’t been publicly doing things for 30 years, and the only event that could reasonably be linked to him is Meiser Sunday. If they knew about him before Charles defeated him then that would just speak to his prolificness as a villain, I guess. “The Shadow King”, an unstoppable force for years until a random prodigy mutant gets him on his first try... or so they thought. I believe that’s how it happened in the comics too.
I’ll also note, Charles is an important figure in the mutant community, but it shouldn’t be discounted that the mutant community still existed and had a whole rich history before Charles even stepped on the scene. It seems like either Xaviers School doesn’t exist in this timeline, or they just don’t know about it. And given that, Summerland seemingly founded itself off the same general ideas of the Xavier School, but completely independently. Like 2 people coming up with the same idea on different sides of the planet.
Farouk’s weakness as Oliver puts it is, “He puts all of his energy into tricking David. Didn’t think to watch his six.” I wonder... is this a consistent weakness of Farouk’s? Could this be what Oliver means when he says he found his weakness in s2?
Oliver admits Farouk is too powerful for him. It’s not like he’s one to have a power complex, but it is interesting how shameless he is about it. He doesn’t really philosophize about that kind of thing, he’s matter of fact about it. Farouk’s got more measurable power than me, we need to find another way around him. He also notes though that *David* could defeat Farouk if need be. Everyone recognizes David as the top of the food chain.
Small note: I guess this is how it works between omega lvls. Always thinking of ways around each others raw abilities. Farouk knows David is too strong for him in s2, so he finds away around it. David knows he might not be able to hold out against Farouk’s built up experience, so he finds away around it. Brains over brawn every time, it would seem.
Cary feels really really bad for David. Seeing him screaming his brains out in a locked box knowing full well how much David hates small space. It’s very sweet. But also, 2 episodes Cary seemed a bit more standoffish about David. Knowing what he knows now recontextualized all those past events. David is a victim of something incomprehensibly terrible. He sees that now.

I didn’t pick up on any of the other times, but Syd’s job here is to be a distraction. Sure, she has to protect the others in the process, but freeing them from the dream is the job of Cary, Oliver, and Melanie.
Still though, David is the victim who needs help here. He’s not the hero who saves them, he’s the one in need of saving. And Syd takes charge in the plan to do so and is tasked with protecting the others, making her once again closer to the hero archetype than David is. In the moment at least.
Syd’s talking fast cause they don’t exactly have all the time in the world here.
The zombies vanish but the architecture remains. There are “degrees” of real in the astral plane.
“Just thought it’d be interesting.” She’s over the whole “jumpscare haunted house” thing by now.
Silly me, the Melanie scene took place after Cary went to gather people. So it’s definitely Cary in the suit.
Melanie’s glad to see he’s back but she’s not completely love struck. Probably both cause he doesn’t remember her, and cause lovestruck Melanie was a result of her mind being altered to fit the delusion. Cary is guiding them out of the delusion so she’s back to her old self basically. Rational, and concerned with the mission.
This isn’t important, I just like how Melanie wakes him up here. It’s sweet, and bitter, cause it’s too late for him anyways.
Why does Farouk simulate this whole process for Rudy? What’s the use in tricking him if he already can barely do anything? We know Rudy gets him eventually, but it’s just surprising that Farouk recognizes him as being a potential threat.
Cary neglected to inform Syd who else he was personally waking.
Is Walter seeing the zombies too? Unclear. But he’s less chill about his tormenting now.
David starts using humor to cope. From what we’ve seen he’s been non-stop screaming for a while. It seems like he stops panicking as much specifically because his mind is fracturing to help him cope.
His first alter (that we see). Rational Mind.
RM says the coffin is just an “idea.” Very specific word choice there.
Rm tells him to forget all the “lies” he learned in memory work and the MRI. That was all Summerland stuff, though. “It’s your mind.” Essentially, trust yourself. You know who you are, don’t let anyone else tell you otherwise. Not even your new friends. Very reminiscent of, “You decide what is real and what is not.”
David doesn’t want to call his adoptive parents his parents anymore.
David’s happy to finally contextualize Farouk as a mutant and not a mental illness. It all starts making since to him, his whole life.
RM’s the first one to say “boohoo,” and it’s in response to David’s sadness over his bio-parents giving him away.
“I am pretty, I am loved.” “Good, keep going.” This mindset David’s falling into is specifically encouraged by his alters. In fact, it’s RM that pushes him down this path in the first place. David (non-Shadow King possessed David) has been avoiding this thought all season.
David’s a bit wrong here, and I think the difference tells us something important. David assumes Farouk possessed him after he was already living in the Haller’s house. But, we know it seemingly happened before Charles even got back from Morocco. So, given that Gabrielle’s mental health was already bad from post-partum depression (alternatively, it’s just the depression she already had) and Charles leaving her alone to go to Morocco, Farouk coming in and haunting the house probably sent things over the edge. David was most likely given away because Gabrielle wasn’t well enough to care for him like he needed, and Charles... 🤷🏾♀️ tbh. Might just’ve not wanted to raise David without Gabrielle. They both said they didn’t ant him to turn out like them. In s3 it’s made to seem like the house haunting was a combination of David and Farouk. David’s haunting time travelly presence probably made things worse, but Farouk would’ve gotten to the baby much sooner if not for him, and without David in the way Farouk probably would’ve upped his own intentional torments. The goal was revenge after all.
David assumes Farouk’s goal is revenge upon the whole world. Makes sense since that’s what Farouk’d been encouraging David to all season. And what he’ll continue to encourage him towards throughout s2 & 3.
Syd “woke him up.” She makes him more stable and sane. She grounds him in reality.
“I was sick, but I’m not sick anymore.” A moment of quiet deliberation with his alter and then he awakens with newfound confidence and a plan. This will repeat in a very tragic way later on.
Kerry, Syd, and a damaged comrade in a wheelchair. If I had nickel for every time this happens I’d have 2 nickels. Very weird it happens twice. Unless... mental clockworks and the end of s3 are supposed to parallel each other.
I assume the astral-plane diving suit protects whoever’s wearing it from psychic threats, much like the ice cube. At the moment, no one’s wearing it.
Sometimes psychics powers require a bit of miming to manifest. Oliver can’t just wave his hand and make a shield, not a strong enough one at least. Similarly, Farouk can’t just expand his mind into the future, he needs to go through a whole time machine building process in the astral plane.
Cary and Melanie seeing Walter get killed must hit hard for them considering he used to be a student of theirs. Sure, he turned against them, but still...
They juxtapose Walter dying with Rudy fully waking up. I wonder if that means it was his powers that were keeping Rudy docile and not necessarily the stab wound.
David is the one that wakes them all up, destroys the dream, and puts them back in their real bodies. And just in time for Cary to place the halo on his head. This is I think the first time David does a real act of super-heroism. The only potential one previously is saving Amy and he wasn’t really the one in control there. This is his first win against Farouk.
David’s not only got control of his powers, but control of himself for the first time, too. And it’s to the point where he’s perceiving things at lightning speeds and moving fast enough to catch bullets. Along with whatever power he’s using to halt the bullets momentum too. For now at least, this is our hero.
They play sinister music whenever he does the bright white light teleport. He does it again at the end of s2. Is it a specific kind of teleport, or is he just adding flair?
David didn’t teleport them directly to the base.
Kerry sadly looks at Rudy’s body.
Melanie looked around for Oliver but in doing so missed him meeting up with the others.
Everyone’s relaxing after their long fought for victory. David and Syd seem really happy. They find Oliver funny/charming.
When Cary’s talking to Kerry, in the background I can barely make out everyone else talking about potatoes.
David’s fine with Amy apologizing, just not in front of the others.
Instead of “The Poor Woodcutter and His Wife” Oliver calls it the “The story of The Lady and the Crane.”
Farouk doesn’t like small spaces either. Ha.

So, after much painstaking thought, I think I’ve decided to change Odzaya’s canon healing job to Astrologian. In the end, both thematically and aesthetically, it just fits her the best. Detailed thoughts and too much meta to follow:
1) My main gripe with choosing Astrologian for her was the card/fortune telling system, which frankly, she just would not utilize. She’d honestly instead use them as throwing weapons like Urianger did that one time, rather than use them as the damage buffs they’re intended for. Just a her thing, enough that there’s even a running joke between her and the other astrologists that they always keep extra cards made just for her because she either goes through them too quickly or they get too damaged/bloodied over time. I also have the idea that, because of her preferred method of using them, they actually create a special set of cards for her that are extra protected and bordered with metal (steel, gold, what have you, depending on how fancy they feel like being), which allows her to sharpen them as she pleases.
2) Previously speaking of Urianger, my other main gripe with choosing Astrologian was simply the fact that I don’t like the idea of Odzaya canonically sharing a job with someone lol. The only exceptions are Red Mage and (partly) Summoner, which I’m willing to excuse because Ali and Alphi are her baby siblings and I love the idea of them being ecstatic when she shows interest in their respective disciplines (also the fact that Summoner is a very important step taken with regards to her story). It’s nothing against Uri; I just like the idea of the Scions all having their niches and specific jobs, which is partly why I liked Odzaya being a White Mage; between her, Urianger, and Alphinaud, they covered all the healer bases. I love the balance. However, with Astrologian, I think I’d be willing to make another exception, as Odzaya utilizes the abilities rather differently than Urianger does. For example, she doesn’t call upon the Twelve; eventually, once she really comes into her own with the discipline, she actually calls upon the gods found in Ancient Auri culture. Leveva actually approached her about it post-Dragonsong, after noting that Odzaya still looked at the stars from the perspective of her origins in the east; it made her astromancy distinctly different in feel, but no less powerful, and Leveva became curious as to the implication and possibilities. Being based in Sharlayan, of course, traditional astrology and astromancy (at least those versions we’re familiar with) had always kept the stars of Eorzea in mind; she figured, though, what with how Odzaya’s journey through astromancy had been notably about pushing bounds and testing limits, wouldn’t it fit right in to push those bounds again, and test the limits of what the stars could do? So, the astrologists came together and started a new project, and designed a whole new set of cards, with Odzaya’s (reluctant) knowledge as their guide. Alphinaud helped, too, after Leveva approached him, as well; with his artistic abilities, he actually drew the base designs for the new cards, and with Odzaya’s input of aether, they became useable.
For a time, though, the new cards are distinctly, surprisingly lacking in as much power; a mental block on Odzaya’s part, it turns out, as both time and the proverbial demons of her past keep her from properly accessing that part of herself and imparting it fully into the cards. It gets resolved later in Stormblood after Odzaya returns to the Steppe and finally faces her past traumas, and her powers are even further amplified by her connection to the land (and the stars above it) through her claiming the ovoo and becoming khagun. A number of the udgans of the Steppe (Temulun included) also help fix up the cards’ designs, so they better represent (and aetherically connect to) the gods.
3) Barring those two points, the job just seems the best for her. Aesthetically, it fits, as I’ve always associated Odzaya with the stars (it’s even in her name, as the Mongolian word od means star, while dzaya means fate/destiny/luck). With certain 5.3 spoilers as well, the job connects with her even more. The canon connection that forms between the west and the east in the astrologian questline is also fitting, as Odzaya essentially exemplifies that (the title you get at lvl 70, “Of the Eastern Skies,” is perfect for her). It’s also, ont he second time around of me playing it, hella fun, and overall feels more fast-paced, which is right up Odzaya’s alley. Also just the image of Odzaya absolutely dominating in the Naadam with the literal cosmos at her back is too sweet and badass to pass up; it’s honestly the ultimate catharsis re: the huge trauma she experienced almost a decade prior. And it’s what she deserves.

Up to this point in OG and remake, he has never ever mentioned he is half-beastman or the prince, I mean the party knows he turns into a werewolf at night, but still everyone is saying just how vicious and evil and terrible are the beastmen... Kevin just remains silent and now that he is alone with the Faerie and she brought that up he says a little bit. I always had the headcanon he says it and the team kinda accepts it in a “not all beastmen” style but still I though they will add a little more here, I mean we know if we get him in the party but not as main, but if Kevin is the main... Not a single mention of his linage.

1. Ik Ik "haha how cringe are you" of me to say, but honestly? Homestuck. Homestuck helped me in a time of need and when i so desperately wanted something to latch onto. Finally, I caved into my friends telling me to read it-- and it's been a blast!! The epilogues / hs^2 make me feel kinda sad though, because so much of what I loved about the original was yeeted through the nine circles of hell and into the trash. I love Y/ffany's (I call her Yippi tho) design, the art is really pretty at times, Harry is a major dork, I LIVE for seeing Vrissy bc honestly?? Her design is 10/10, very early 2000s emo style and I also live for that. Tavros is cute and a nerd and I think that's swell!
But in terms of story and how any of this happens, it makes me sad to see it happen. If Vriska could return as Vrissy, why not OTHER beta trolls? Where's my Eridan fish man, writers?? Give me the boy or perish by my fury.
2. Also super "haha how cringe are you" but,,, murder cats (Warriors), esp the early 2005-2015 amvs and stuff. I remember watching Flightfootwarrior's "I Will Not Bow" Scourge amv for HOurs and having no clue what was happening, but all these edgy kitties were KITTIES! It's introduced me to a lot of music I still listen to to this very day (Imagine Dragons, Young/the entirety of Hollywood Undead, Breaking Benjamin). And yknow what?? This new arc is absolute chaos, but in the good way.
I'm an "OG Fan". I prefer the first arc, The Prophecies Begin, to almost any of the other arcs. I just could never get into the other arcs-- not to say I haven't read them, I HAVE and the Fire Scene was probably one of my favorite moments beside grumpy Jaypaw, god complex Lionblaze, and fear the gods Hollypaw. I thought the build-up for it was SUPER satisfying. Gray Wing is my baby and I fully embellish in the Gray Wing is Silverpelt theory.
This new arc is definitely something new for the universe. While I didn't read aVoS (but I may do that if i can find the files for it), and so I don't know the major events of it other than what I've seen M.A.P.'s (Multi-Animator Projects, for clarification,,, bc unfortunately that term is also something disgusting). There's fucking cat possession and all the Clans questioning their belief system, yo. Shit be on fire.
Also the Imposter is 100% Ashfur, that's canon now, yeah??? Also im sorry but fuck Root x Bristle that's the dumbest shit I have ever seen. Give me Root x Shadow or face the wrath of my dragon plushies.

3. As much as I hate the author,,,,, Harry Potter. It's been a major part of my life for as long as I can remember. I can never really remember why, but I've always just loved it- the movies, the books, the extra little merch that would pop up in my local Walmart. Of course my favorite character is Draco Malfoy. I could go on and on and ON about how I think his character arc was SHIT and JKR didn't have the balls to make him a confident gay man that was always implied through the text (at least, my lesbian ass thought it was implied but i may just be projecting, idk). I could ramble about Draco for HOURS and what I think his character SHOULD have been and how his parents are horrible (more specifically, Lucius bc Narcissa [?] Actually showed a few good moments), and a child should never have to pay for their parents sins.
Oh noo, Draco's a villain because he's a victim of major abuse and peer pressure? He's a villain because a literal child can be horrible and they'll always always always stay as a horrible little fiend?? Fuck that. He's a child.
Unlike manchild grease pan Snape, who was a racist piece of shit and shouldn't have became a fucking school teacher but it's okay because he was ~~~in love~~~. No, fuck you, he was a creep. James Potter n Co may have been a little posh bitch to you, Snape, but that's no fucking excuse to continue to bluntly be a little cunt all the way into adulthood. You're an adult who flatly changed your PATRONUS to imitate Lily's. You have no excuse. And Harry went and named his child after you LIKE JESUS CHRIST, DID RON'S SISTER NOT HAVE A SAY IN THE NAMES TOO?????
I also fully adore the idea that Muggles can run into Hogwarts and their patronus can 100% be a made up, fantasy creature. Imagine you learn the patronus spell and suddenly fucking ARCEUS comes from your wand. Imagine learning the spell and CHTULU (i did not spell that right but im so tired) comes from your wand-- an entire ass fucking Lovecraftian, Eldrith horror is just the embodiment of you. What if it was a fucking Homestuck character like Vriska? How fucking METAL would that be?? Hskajssowjjsjs get on it fandom.
4. Hee hee very evident by my url but Pokemon is another major thing of mine. While vespiquen isn't my favorite (that title goes to Hydreigon), it is definitely up there!
I've ALWAYS enjoyed the idea of Pokemon. You run around, training up these fight monsters and collecting them. I remember playing my sister's Ruby version on her flip-up Gameboy. I couldn't even read but I ran around catching god only knows how many of the same pokemon wherever she was. Apparently, I had fought for hours in the same area and leveled her Blaziken up to lvl 50 something and left her lvl 30s in the dust LMAO.
I got my first game when it was Pearl/Diamond. It was Pearl, and it still holds a very fond place in my heart. I could barely read, I could barely write-- I had named my Turtwig something along the lines of "MmorpHy" and my player boy "ZbsibJ". Yes I remember the names slightly. I really didn't get far-- I barely got to the first gym but I was just so happy to play it.
I eventually lost the game, as a 5 year old would do, but I can still vividly remember what was happening when the game arrived. I had just came back from the dentist and was quite tired from fighting the dentist bc I was super scared. Mom suddenly handed me a box and said it was mine-- my overseas (at that time) dad had bought me Pearl and my sister Diamond, because I lost my shit about it when he visited one time.
Well, tdlr, I played it for about five minutes while struggling to stay awake against the loopy gas they made me take. I fell asleep listening to Twinleaf Town's soundtrack. Every time I play a rom of Pearl and I get to where the player's house fades in and I hear that first tune of the song, I get a huge smile on my face and cry-- as.. Weird as it sounds.
A few years later, I had gotten Pokemon Black bc I liked Reshiram on the cover. Now, this one I could actually READ when playing, but I don't remember a lot of things about it. I probably lost this one too, as a 8/9 year old would do. I DO remember, I chose Snivy and my sister chose Tepig (hrmm there's a theme here of grass/fire goin on......) and vibing to the music. I was so amazed by the sprites moving, I just kept getting into encounters to see the sprites move (oh boy, no one tell younger 7-9 y/o me about Zelda......oh wait....)
Playing Pokemon NOW, as a 17 year old """gifted""" chick, I stil have very fond memories. I recently beat Pokemon Black again and GOD the OTS SLAPS. I fucking adore the soundtrack-- the track that plays when you battle a trainer, the low health dings being turned into a legit song that also slaps, the battle! gym leader themes-- and oh my gOd, the legendary theme is amazing? It really tells you just how glorious these pokemon are supposed to be. It's not intimidating like Groudon/Kyroge/Rayquaza's themes. It's not action packed like Palkia/Dialga's is, it's not filled with tension like Giratina/Arceus's is-- but it radiates the GLORY that the beasts portray. And I live for that. (Also, Kyurem's version is my favorite because it glitches in the beginning and that's rly cool)
P/D/P and BW/BW2's stories, imo, are some of the greatest ones. Yeahhh, US/USUM's is cool and I haven't played XY nor SwSh-- but the ones I can find memorable are PDP and BW/BW2. I love N. I love Barry. They're my sons. Ghetsis is fucking terrifying, Cyrus needs a hug. Giratina scared the piss out of me when I was younger, which was NOT helped by Giratina and The Sky Warrior.
I think my favorite movies are the gen 4 ones. The Rise of Darkrai having a tear-jerking theme for such a mysterious pokemon (i still tear up when i hear Ocarion), Giratina being spiteful is a mood and Shaymin was cute, Arceus being angry is also a mood. Yeah, Pokemon 4Ever made me cry my eyes out over Celebi, Mewtwo Returns made me again cry because Mewtwo accepting who he is, I remember how vastly different the BW movies are-
I just. I have a lot of memories with the series, even if Gamefreak and Nintendo kinda do the series dirty a lot (your top-grossing thing and you made That monstrosity for the Switch? How dare you.). It's comforting to be stressed and pull up my roms for the games and to play them. Mystery Dungeon is incredibly fun to play, Pokemon Ranger is really fun with the concept (Shadows of Almia continues to kick my ass to this very day and FUCK the Jungle Relic, I hate the Water Challenge fucking gyarados bullshit). I remember the pokemon I got for MD (I got Time, my sis got Darkness) was Mudkip, if that is any help.
I love my little fictional pixel monsters.
5. Yup, someone told tiny 7-9 y/o me about console games. The legend of Zelda. My first Zelda game was Twilight Princess on the Wii and BOY did I play the fucking SHIT out of that game.
Honestly, looking back and looking at playthroughs now-- I still love TP. Twilight Princess is still one of my top favorite Zelda games-- yes, even after playing OoT, Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, Skyward Sword, the anniversary four swords edition for the DS where you could play by yourself (Nintendo pls bring that back, I don't have friends to play it with ;-;), Phantom Hourglass- ect.
Something about Twilight Princess grabbed me by the head and yeeted me into the world. I can remember playing it for hours with little to no breaks. I, a tiny 9 y/o, had gotten the hang of the controllers and managed to get past the tutorial quite easily. And then, I was launched into the game and I wasn't stopping for NOTHING. Mom and Dad would have to force me to save and get off to go and eat dinner. THAT sucked.
I had done everything on my own up until the first temple, the forest temple. Not where/when you saved the dumb kid, but when you were saving the spirit's light. Theeeeeeennn I got stuck on the fucking Forest Temple for deadass six months straight. I'd play for hours, running around in circles, unable to figure out where to go, and because I didn't grasp the temple's purpose of being that way- I'd get angry and get off. It wasn't until dad looked up a walkthrough and talked me through what I was supposed to do that I learned how to get through temples.
I had gotten to the last little fight with Ganondorf before the Wii broke and i could no longer play. Despite the Wii being broke and we got rid of it, I was ADAMANT on keeping the game, and I kept that game for YEARS. It was an original copy out of a sealed box, and I eventually lost it when I left it accidentally at my now ex-friend's house.
She had a Wii and I went "hey I have a Wii game!" And I brought my Zelda over. Worst fucking choice of my goddamn life. Mom called me to come home and said I couldn't sleep over like the original plan was, and that was it. My ex-friend stashed my Zelda and I never saw it again. And, even if I wanted to-- I couldn't get it back, which makes me upset. We had a BAD falling out. She likely doesn't even remember it's there, or sold it to the local game junkie kid who buys ALL games.
But I still love the game. Midna was amazing, and I loved how snarky she was and she has a very cute design! The game's OST is fucking phenomenal. Midna's Desperate Hour makes me cry bc goddamn it really sells how serious that situation is. I love Hyrule Field's theme in this game. I love the Twilight Realm's song. Zant was fucking hilariously scary. Ganondorf's design in this game scared the piss out of me when I was younger.
Midna and this game's Link and Zelda are def my favorites. Yeah yeah, Sheik is cool and all I Guess but dhsushwishs Midna holds the special place in my heart. She was totally my gay awakening BUT
For other game antagonists, I adore Ghirahim-- let's go you funky little queer-coded villain. Skull Kid was great, I love the entire dynamic of him. Prankster lost soul stumbles upon Majora's Mask and the mask makes him act out due to powers-- which, I actually took very heavy inspiration from for one of my OCs. The moon falling to Hyrule was a fucking terrifying looming threat.
But the game series holds a place, and I've yet to be able to play BoTW-- although, I'm fairly certain I'll like it. The playthroughs I've watched of it are all fairly decent! I just. Gotta save up enough money to buy it haha.
Dang guess I gotta go watch a Twilight Princess playthrough again.

Pokemon Black Nuzlocke - Part 3
Continuing on with my Pokemon Black Nuzlocke for those interested. For a quick summary of my Nuzlocke so far in a nutshell: “I’ve got no Flying-Types and I swear Critical Hits are happening to me every other turn. Also by the way, can I mention how nearly all my Pokemon are females and I’m usually used to getting males?” But there had been progress made if you want to read it below. Because, quite a bit happens as I start off with Route 4.
So back to Pokemon Black Nuzlockes I go and my next encounter in Route 4 as a Darumaka. Never got to use one, let alone a female one. Her nickname is… well… *looks up random names that might fit*. Let’s call her Ramona. Who shall now be replacing Ghost Girl since as Liepard is not really pulling any weight. Also I kicked Cheren’s butt. Thus I fully went onto journeying through Route 4. Quick notes shall follow if anything of interest happened.
Fighting-Type Pokemon are the current bane of my party. I got no Pidove and thus no Flying-Type or anything super effective against them. Which is troubling when it comes to dealing with Timburr.
Went to visit the Desert Resort and get some encounters there. Just in case I suddenly have Pokemon faint during the upcoming battles. And I think giving Pebbles the Quick Claw is worth it, as having a Roggenrola who can outspeed others is fun. Captain finally evolved from a Tympole to a Palpitoad; meaning also I know have a Pokemon who is only super duper weak to Grass. My encounter for the Desert Resort turns out to be a female Sandile. Who I quickly just tossed the Quick Ball. Her nickname shall be Cassandra and she’ll chill in the Box in case I need.
Now considering the fact I could theoretically catch a Volcarona later on during the post game (depending on whether or not I decide to Nuzlocke post-game story.) I just decided to use Repels for the castle. But I managed to find the person with the fossils. And as much as I wanted to get the Tirtouga, I was considering getting Archen in case I could not find a Pokemon capable of using Fly later on. But I decided to screw my luck and took the Cover Fossil. Bias and planning be damned. (I shall revive it when I need the Pokemon and once I can learn Fly.)
I did some more grinding to get everyone up to Level 25 before heading into Nimbasa City. Pebbles evolved into a Boldore. Making her the last main evolution for the journey to Nimbasa City. But upon arriving in the city after getting free Ultra Balls, Team Plasma appeared harassing an old man. Which I had to beat up and got the bike! Hooray for faster travel! Got the Strength HM and decided between going to the Amusement Park and Bianca, I chose to ride with N in the ferris wheel. Because that sounded more exciting and as much as I’m poking fun at things, I really enjoy this game.
The ferris wheel ride ended as I faced off against N. Which could have been a challenge… if I didn’t have Captain. Like he quite literally just swept most of his team. Though I had Zigzapzop finish off the Sigilyph. Then I amused Bianca with the Pokemon Musical stuff. (Look, this was my jam back in the day. I used to be a master of these when I was younger. Too bad it doesn’t do anything in terms of Nuzlocke from my memories.)
Exiting the building is the sweet scene with Bianca, her father and Elesa. Like these moments are what I live for which Sword and Shield did not give me. Which is unfortunate. But in other news I decided to venture into the Big Stadium and Small Court to level my team up just a bit more for the upcoming Gym Battle. I was pretty confident with the current team I had. And getting them just a few more levels and getting some Amulet Coin boosted cash would work for my preparations. As Elesa literally swept my old team as a child. Which, since I mainly had Zipzagzop, Captain and Pebbles on my team, I was feeling pretty better about my odds.
With overconfidence and just now remembering Emolga is a Pokemon which exist, I waltz into the roller coaster Gym leading with Captain and Pebbles to take down Elesa. Which is troublesome considering the damage Volt Switch Emolga do. Though having Power Gem just fling out super effective moves does work out pretty well. Not to mention how Power Gem avoids the Static from Emolgas. Can I just say that the RNG Pokemon loves to toy with my emotions by having a Volt Switch nearly bring down Pebbles to 3 HP from a CRITICAL HIT. Poor Pebbles she did not deserve that. So for the second Emolga, I switched into Captain to prepare for the Zebstrika. He took it down with a Round, since Pebbles weakened both flying squirrels. Which left Captain to face down her ace Pokemon. And thankfully, because of the Water/Ground typing, made it a quick sweep of Captain defeating her Zebstrika. Plus it did help Elesa for some reason decide to waste her Hyper Potion on her Emolga.
Securing the fourth Gym Badge, needless to say I felt so proud of both Pebbles and Captain for cleanly saving my team from losing anyone else. I never got to use either Pokemon in my original run and I can’t help but be proud of them. If only I could say the same for Puppy. Sadly, a policeman on Route 16 decided it would be funny to take out my own Herdier with a CRITICAL HIT Take Down. Poor baby, I didn’t mean for her to take the hit but alas there goes my second death. I personally feel hurt about losing her to a random Trainer battle.
My Route 16 encounter was actually a double-battle one. But one was a Liepard - which I had. The other was a female Trubbish - which I chose as my encounter since I didn’t have one. I gave her the nickname of Trashie because I suck at nicknames at times. Though I don't have any real reason to truly keep Trashie around. Because looking at the moves she learns, she won’t be a decent-enough Pokemon to add for type coverage. All she’s good at is taking out Grass and Bug-Type Pokemon. Which, I have Ramona for. So I’ll deposit her into the Box for safe-keeping. But for HM Cut sake, Ghost Girl is returning to the team to fill that spot. And I don’t want to really teach that to my Starter Pokemon.
But inside of the Lostlorn Forest, I got another encounter. Being that of a Male Cottonee! Catching him, I named him Lowen. He now rests in my box since I already have a Grass-Type. Missed out on getting a Tranquill but I’ve managed so far without a Flying-Type. I just hope to get a Pokemon capable of learning Fly soon enough.
Then I had the match with Cheren on Route 5. Defeated him, chatted with the Champion before we bullied two children on his behalf. Zigzagzop evolved during this process as well. What I once feared as a child is now at my side. And on Route 5, at first I got a dupes Liepard which I chose to skip over. Though in a random trainer battle I lamented how I long my Puppy, as she was my main counter to Psychic and Ghosts. And I still have no plans of using Ghost Girl. Then came the dupes Trubbish. Which I also skipped. And after some more dupes of Liepards and Trubbishes, I got another double encounter. This time with another Liepard and a female Minccino. Who, despite how doubtful I am of being of use, I nicknamed Lady. Lady will be in the PC until I have a need for her. That or she’ll just chill out in there for the rest of the run.
Driftveil Bridge was opened up thanks to Elesa. And thanks to that and a bit of checking, a female Ducklett finally appeared!!! Finally giving me an encounter on the bridge (or at least I think is a proper encounter) which may grant me a Flying-Type to add to the party. I caught her immediately and named her Odette. Who shall be added to my team as soon as I arrive into Driftveil City. Clay was there to meet us and I already remember why I liked him. But I kind of have some fears about facing his team in a Nuzlocke.
And here’s where I’ll end things for this update. Going to probably grind a bit before continuing on with the story. But I will say some of my team is a bit higher than I thought. Considering I have to fight Clay and his Excadrill, though, I got a feeling I’m going to have to be very cautious. Because I have heard Clay is a run ender with his Excadrill. Though hopefully it won’t stop me! Here will be the team updates regarding what has befallen everyone. Next time, I plan to at the very least defeat Clay and depending on how that goes, hopefully reach Chargestone Cave for what I believe is to be the N fight. That is the plan but who knows what will happen.

Spring Rotation
Finally! Who would have guessed, I’d make it that far XD It’s been a long time... almost a year in RL.
There are changes to come for Twinhills. First things first: Taxes. Wow.
I wanted to give my sims the opportunity to buy the things I forgot, when I built their homes. (Like invisible phones, cash register etc.) I thought, I adjust the funds after the first rotation. And boy am I glad that I did this. I set ridiculous tax-goals for my sims. I used the numbers from my BaCC-attempts. But in a Maxis-Match-Neighborhood it is far easier for sims to earn money. Almost all of them have been straped of their cash by the crown’s demands.

The bright side of this is, that Twinhills earned 20.500 Simoleans in just one rotation. And I’m going to keep these funds. In the original MCC this would mean, I would have reached level 3, the village, but that would be to easy for my taste! XD
With the current funds the sims of Twinhills unlocked the Village Green, a playground (because my children need a place to play with each other) and the weekly market.
There are 5.284 Simoleans left in the treasury.
How I plan to progress:
For the next level, my sims need to fund the building of a church and a cemetery. Most Twinhillians (does this sound like a word? XD) believe in the goddess Siofra. So one would think, it makes sense to build her temple, buuut no. Siofra is the goddess of growth and live. She gets a nice forest lot outside the city walls. A church in the classical sense of the word applies more to eighter Praios or Oghmor. There are no Lumen Kin in Twinhills (yet), so the only one left is Praios. I imagine his religion to be more like the chantry in Dragon Age. (I’ll definetly put all my Maidens/Paragons of the sun in Chantry Robes! Inquisiton Banners everywhere!!) Isn’t it convienent, that the banner of the DA-Inquisition look oddly like the eye of the watcher? Well they match at least. ;)
When the Church and the Cemetery are unlocked, we’ll celebrate, because then Twinhills will be a Hamlet (lvl 2). I want to add new sims in the hamlet-level. Following the rules of the MCC, there’s going to be a new yeomanry- and merchant-household. I wanted to add the military-base and the almshouse in this stage. But while building diffrent lots, I realized, I want to have diffrent class-fluid sims in my game. To add a household of marriageable sims, I will have to unlock a specific community lot first. After unlocking the community lot, I’m going to randomize the household members and move them into their respective quaters. Here is a list I wrote:
Small Prison unlocks the Military Barracks as well as fire- and burglar alarms
Woodcutter’s Forest unlocks a Woodcutter-Camp and the ability to buy firewood straight from buy-catalog
Quarry unlocks a Miner-Camp. Sims may go to the quarry and dig for treasures there.
The Charity hospice unlocks the Almshouse. In my head it makes sense for these sims to be servants.
Midsummer Faire unlocks the Brothel.
The Juggler Stage unlocks a Traveller Camp.
Foundling home will work on it’s own without an additional lot. It will unlock a few caretakers, who won’t be available for marriage and the orphans. (I’ll take this chance to incorporate a ISBI-challenge. Orphans, who turn into independent teens, have to move out into eighter one of the lots above or to be married off into a regular household.)
I thought about adding further information including, who has been opening a shop, who cheated on whom, but... meh... I just want to keep track of the births, deaths and unlocked lots here.

ALL OF THESE CONTAIN HUGE SPOILERS - THEY ARE THE FACTS AS I KNOW THEM - READING THIS WILL SPOIL THE GAME FOR YOU. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. If there’s anything that’s wrong let me know with a source to the correct answer, but I haven’t written anything I’ve not been sure of, but this is all based on my memory of the game, if there’s characters that should be added, please let me know.
Sam Porter Bridges - Also known as ‘Sam Strand,’ ‘Sam Porter,’ ‘Sam Bridges’ / DOOMS - Lvl 2 / Repatriate / Porter (Bridges, then Independent, then Bridges)
The son of Clifford Unger and Lisa Bridges. Born to a still mother and placed into a BB pod, Cliff attempted to rescue Sam from the Bridges facility and failed resulting in both their deaths. When an infant Sam made it to the Beach, his bullet wound to the stomach was fixed, causing a cross scar on his stomach which is still present in adulthood, and was sent back into the ‘real’ world by Amelie and therefore made into a Repatriate. When back in the ‘real’ world he was brought up by Bridget (Amelie’s older ‘Ha’) as her son. Sam has nightmares in his youth and he ends up on Amelie’s beach where she helps him. Amelie gifts him a dream catcher to try and help him with his nightmares. He had a partner and an unborn child (a son he was going to call ‘Lou,’) lost prior to the start of the game. When the game starts Sam has no attachments, is living as a porter. He has a delivery to Capital Knot City and gets caught up in the death of the President, the woman who raised him, she asks him to complete the chiral network to bring the UCA together again. Sam acquires his BB during these initial tasks, from someone in corpse disposal who passes in a void out Sam survives. Sam is asked to incinerate BB because they believe BB is faulty, but doesn’t. Sam is pursuaded by Amelie to complete the task as laid out by the president, but not because Sam wants to bring America back together again, but because Amelie asked. Sam has to travel cross country connecting the Chiral network, he continues his job as a porter, making deliveries as he goes to help people and to persuade people to join the UCA. Sam has lots of success doing this, and word quickly spreads giving people hope. Sam begins to discover through his connections that the situation and the science aren’t as simple as he thought. He also starts to see what be believes are BB’s memories where Cliff is attempting to free BB from the control of Bridges but they aren’t sure what they mean. He works closely with Fragile, manages to defeat Higgs who heads up a terrorist organisation and makes it to the West connecting things up as he goes. Sam creates a close bond with BB and expresses a desire to live with BB, rejecting the idea that BB is equipment. After travelling all the way West Sam is told he needs to come back East, to meet up with all the scientists he’s met along the way in an attempt to end what the Death Stranding started and avert the extinction of humanity. They learn that Amelie is the key to the extinction and is causing it. Sam is transported to Amelie’s beach to convince her to give humanity a chance. Sam manages to do this, and Amelie will hold up the extinction as long as possible. Sam is rescued from the Beach and returns to life as a porter. After the inauguration of Die-Hardman as the new President, Sam learns of Die-Hardman’s betrayal of Cliff, and is then told that his BB, who he affectionately calls ‘Lou’ after his unborn child, has passed with the strains of their journey. Sam take Lou on one last delivery to the incinerator to stop Lou becoming a BT. Deadman deactivates Sam’s cufflinks so he can leave Bridges if he wants. Sam connects with Lou’s pod in an attempt to wake her up and see’s memories of Cliff attempting to save him as a baby, managing to talk with Cliff properly and they discover together they’re actually father and son. After this Sam burns his cufflinks in the incinerator but can’t bear to burn Lou and breaks the pod and resuscitates her successfully. Sam leaves with Lou giving up with life with Bridges. In connecting America back together again, Sam learns that humanity is worth it, worth saving and that if the whole country is worth saving, maybe he is too. Sam for a large part of the story has a fear of touch which affects him profoundly, but by the end of the story it seems to affect him less.
Fragile / DOOMS - Lvl UNKNOWN (Greater than Sam) / Porter Company Owner (Fragile Express)
Fragile DOOMs gives her the ability to teleport to her Beach and then teleport in the ‘real’ world, so she is able to travel long distances quickly. She took over her father’s porter company, Fragile Express, to continue her father’s dream of bringing America together again. Fragile worked with Higgs for a long time, but was betrayed by him as Higgs hid an armed nuclear bomb in her cargo bound for Middle Knot City. The bomb detonated and the city destroyed. Higgs takes Fragile hostage, and has a second bomb which he gives to her in the middle of South Knot City, Higgs causes timefall and tasks Fragile with running the bomb, in her underwear through Timefall to save the city, or to vanish and save herself. Higgs only give Fragile covering for her head so everyone always knows her face. Fragile saves the city, but exposes her body to Timefall which drastically ages her skin. There was a lot of speculation about whether Fragile Express was a terrorist organisation or used by Higgs, so the company causes a lot of controversy in certain areas of America. Sam isn’t sure what to believe and doesn’t trust Fragile for a long time. Higgs attempts a false delivery again to get Sam to take a bomb to Fragile, but they discover it ahead of time and Sam throws the bomb into the tar pit. Sam and Fragile build trust over this. Fragile helps to send Sam after Higgs in an attempt to rescue Amelie on the condition that Fragile can finish Higgs off. Sam delivers Higgs to Fragile, weak but alive. Fragile gets information from him, but cannot bear to shoot him despite her desire too and offers to leave him stranded on the beach forever or he can shoot himself. Fragile offers to take Sam back east but Sam decides to go with Amelie and is stranded. Fragile transports the team working to end the extinction to Capital Knot City, hugely weakening herself and putting herself in a coma, and can’t manage to get Sam. Fragile then sends Sam to Amelie’s beach to stop the extinction at the end, at great pains to her. Once the extinction is avoided, Fragile gets the first private contract for Porters from the UCA, she offers Sam a job with her which Sam refuses in order to go off grid. Fragile says that Sam doesn’t have run and hide anymore, that he’s changed, got something to fight for.
Clifford Unger - Also known as ‘Cliff,’ ‘Veteran’ / DOOMS - None / Soldier
Cliff is in the American military, fought in many wars contemporary to us. Fought with Die-Hardman and was his Captain, Die-Hardman credits Cliff with saving his life repeatedly. Cliff is married to Lisa Bridges and Lisa falls pregnant with their first child together, Cliff leaves the military in order to be there for his wife and child. Unfortunately Lisa falls ill and is turned into a still mother, their unborn child removed from the womb at 28 weeks. Cliff is told repeatedly they’d attempt to get BB and Lisa out of their states, but this was a lie. Cliff is told this by Die-Hardman, that BB will be taken away and used as the base code for a Knot City and he gives Cliff a window to end Lisa’s life, a mercy, and take BB and try and get him out of the hospital. Cliff attempts this, but fails, is shot and captured by hospital/Bridges security. Cliff removes BB from his pod, and he survives against the odds, Amelie shoots Cliff to try and get BB back but accidentally shoots BB too. Cliff is seen on the beach in the distance when Amelie sends BB back into the ‘real’ world. It is presumed, but not shown that Amelie convinces Cliff to work for her in exchange for being able to get his child back again. Amelie gives Cliff powers and Cliff sets about attempting to find his child in the world. Cliff’s military background means that he connects with beaches created from the mass slaughter of millions of soliders in battles and his connection with Sam, as Sam is secretly his son, drags Sam into these battles. Both Sam and Cliff are of the belief the BB Cliff is looking for is Sam’s BB (Lou), and Sam fights Cliff to try and weaken him so Sam is allowed back to the ‘real’ world and Cliff tries to take Sam’s BB (Lou) by mistake. Bridges are of the opinion for a time that Cliff is actually controlling Higgs and the mastermind behind the extinction event. In the last battle, Cliff and Sam bond over their care for what is perceived to be the same BB, and Lou expresses a happiness to stay with Sam, which Cliff accepts, he hugs Sam and disappears. Cliff is next seen when Sam is accessing what he believes to be the memories of Lou who was dead at this point. Sam thinks he’s just watching the memories, but he’s able to influence them, he puts himself between Cliff and Die-Hardman’s gun. Cliff realises that Sam’s full name is ‘Sam Porter Bridges’ and puts the pieces together that Sam is actually his son. Cliff puts himself between Sam and the gun and Amelie shoots him, killing Cliff and what has been discovered to be the infant Sam at the same time. Cliff has associations and seems to gain his power from the BT tar, and has an army of dead soldiers he can command. He also uses Amelie’s substitute BB’s - the creepy dolls. Cliff’s motivation is simply to get his son back and show him the world. He gets peace from knowing that Sam has done that, lived a good life, done good things and helped connect America. At the end, Cliff says that he’s always been a stopping point, obstructive like a cliff face, but Sam has always been his bridge to the future.
Deadman / DOOMs - None / Doctor (Bridges)
A Bridges doctor, who was grown from embryonic stem cells and flesh harvested from cadavers. Because of his he has a Ha, a physical body, but no Ka, no soul. Deadman has a self-confessed dislike of BB’s, and Lou is aware of this and leaks artificial womb fluid all over him deliberately. Deadman says that he has no mother, no family, no friends, no beach. But in helping to save humanity he gains friends, and a bond with Lou. Deadman does a lot of research for Sam, finding out information he shouldn’t have access too and digging up details on Die-Hardman for him. Deadman pulls Sam off of Amelie’s Beach back into the ‘real’ world, he helps when Lou gets sick and helps them get better for Sam and helps Sam disappear at the end of the story for a life with Lou undisturbed by the UCA. Despite Sam not liking touch, he voluntarily hugs Deadman at the end of the story which clearly has a profound effect on him, finally building connections with people who aren’t dead.
Malingen - Also known as ‘Mama’ / DOOMs - Lvl UNKNOWN / Hardware Technician (Bridges)
Twin sister to Lockne with whom she has an intense bond, they’re believed to be one Ka separated between two Ha’s. Malingen created the Chiral network and Q-pid hardware, is a genius of unknown proportions. Malingen had no viable eggs, and her sister was unable to carry a baby to term, so when her sister needed a surrogate, Malingen stepped up to carry her child. Whilst awaiting a C-section a terrorist attack meant the hospital was bombed, Malingen was trapped inside and gave birth whilst trapped in the rubble, the baby passed and became a BT whilst still connected to Malingen. Her child’s crying caused Mama to be found and rescued, but she was unable to leave the site because of her child’s connection with the site and the other side. Mama’s child is a harmless BT whom she can cradle and touch, but this is because Mama is dead, hiding her status by not wearing her cufflinks properly. There is an issue with the Q-pid, which requests Lockne’s help to fix, but Lockne and Mama grew apart after the issues with their child. Mama knows that to get the Q-pid fixed, she needs to see Lockne, to build their bond again and convince her to help bridges. Mama creates the umbilical cord cutting cufflinks for Sam using Sam’s own blood and gets Sam to separate her and her child by cutting the cord. Mama only has a short time to live without the connection to her child, and Sam transports her to Lockne and Mama passes once she meets her sister again. As Malingen and Lockne are on Ka, Mama is still able to converse with Sam through Lockne.
Lockne / DOOMS - Lvl UNKNOWN / Software Technician (Independent, then Bridges)
Twin sister of Malingen with whom she has an intense bond, they’re believed to be one Ka separated between two Ha’s. Lockne wrote the software enabling the Chiral Network and the Q-pid, is of equal genius to her twin and runs Mountain Knot City. After issues with the UCA she wouldn’t accept joining until Malingen was brought to her, and accepted joining as one of her final wishes. Lockne felt Malingen return to her after her Ha finally passed and continued help to fight the extinction event with her and everyone else. Lockne takes care of Lou whilst Sam goes to convince Amelie to stop the extinction.
Die-Hardman - Also known as ‘John Blake McClane’ / DOOMS - None / Head of Bridges, President of the United Cities of America, Former Soldier
Formerly a soldier in a unit with Clifford Unger for the American army and credits him with saving his life on multiple occasions. Die-Hardman then joined Bridges, and was part of the security team supervising the hospital where Cliff’s wife and son were being treated. Die-Hardman gave Cliff the advice and window needed to attempt to escape. This escape is a failure, and Die-Hardman is ordered to shoot Cliff by Bridget, in the first timeline we see, he does this. Die-Hardman continues to serve Bridget until her death as the President of the UCA. He wants to finish her work and attempts to persuade and help guide Sam across the US. Die-Hardman is primarily the one giving Sam orders during the story. As time goes on, Deadman and Sam become less sure they can trust him, because of his involvement with the BB program and potentially hiding files. Die-Hardman is taken to Amelie’s beach but he manages to smuggle a gun. He comes face to face with Cliff once more, Cliff doesn’t kill Die-Hardman on sight which is what he expected, Die-Hardman believes this means Cliff has forgiven him. Die-Hardman is spared from the beach and reappears in Captial Knot City weak but alive. It’s unknown what happened to him. When we next see him he’s being inaugurated as the President of the UCA, in his speech, he thanks Sam for his work as an ‘unsung hero’ but doesn’t name him directly as he knows Sam wouldn’t want that. After the ceremony, Die-Hardman catches up with Sam and they discuss Cliff, Die-Hardman breaks down with the weight of what he did and expresses that he thinks that Cliff would have forgiven him and Sam reacts badly, Sam recovered the gun Die-Hardman left on the Beach, and gives it back to him, advising Die-Hardman that “the gun won’t work here.” When Sam manages to get back into his own memories, he’s able to be present there as an adult and effects them, he puts himself between Cliff and Die-Hardman’s gun, this forces Bridget to take hold of the gun and the trigger over Die-Hardman’s hand and shoots Cliff. Die-Hardman wears a mask for most of the story, it’s believed that his face is badly burned which is why he wears it, but actually it’s Bridgets mask, worn by Die-Hardman so people wouldn’t recognise him, after being inaugurated he removes the mask.
Heartman / DOOMS - Lvl UNKNOWN / Research Scientist (Bridges)
Heartman lives and works in a distant lab, South East of Mountain Knot City. When Sam meets him Heartman is dead, an AED device he permanently wears over his check shocks his heart and he wakes up. Heartman advises Sam that he was undergoing heart surgery in a hospital when an attack destroyed the hospital’s generator, and Heartman was dead for 21 minutes. His wife and child were killed in the attack and Heartman lost them on the Beach. Since then, every 21 minutes his heart goes into cardiac-arrest and he dies, he’s dead for 3 minutes before his AED shocks him back. During this time, he searches Beaches for his wife and child. Heartman dies and is resuscitated 60 times a day, he has a collection of media which can be consumed within 21 minutes, he says that largely bodily functions can be fit into a 21 minute window, with the exception of sleep and sex. Heartman’s heart is drastically malformed because of the strain it’s under and is more
BB-28 - Also known as ‘Bridge Baby,’ ‘BB,’ ‘Lou′ / DOOMs - None / Bridge Baby
BB-28 is first seen being used by a member of Corpse Disposal, Sam goes with CD and they’re attacked by BT’s, the CD person using BB-28 is taken by BT’s and he throws the BB away to save them. Sam survives the attack as he’s a repatriate and uses BB-28 to get back to Capital Knot City. Sam is tasked with taking the Presidents body for incineration and they include a still living BB-28 in the cargo for incineration as they believe BB-28 malfunctioned, leading to the void out. Sam doesn’t want to incinerate BB-28, and is attacked by BT’s in the incinerator, he uses BB again to get back to Capital Knot City, and says that he’d continue to use BB. Sam and BB bond through deliveries, avoiding BT’s and travelling together. BB’s usually don’t work for people with DOOMs, despite this Lou and Sam work well together and their connection is undeniable, Sam starts to refer to BB-28 as ‘Lou’ which we find out is the name Sam and his partner would have given to their unborn child who passed. When Sam gets to Mountain Knot City, Deadman says that Lou needs treatment as they’re drifting off balance and leaning more to the world of the living than the dead like other BB’s, and Sam said that this isn’t a problem for him as they want to live together. Deadman is able to restore the balance, but in doing so he wipes Lou’s memories of Sam and they have to rebuild their bond again. But they do this without issue. As the circumstances with Cliff become more apparent and they continue to visit him in the supercells, it’s believed that Lou is Cliff’s child, the lullaby that Cliff sings to his child makes Lou happy with Sam whistles it to them. As Sam travels to Capital Knot City again Lou gets more unwell, is unable to connect fully in their incubator. Sam leaves Lou behind to go Amelie’s beach with Lockne for safety. When Sam returns from Amelie’s beach and Die-Hardman is inaugurated, Deadman advises Sam that Lou has passed away, presumably from the stress of the journey. Sam takes it upon himself to deliver Lou to the incinerator to stop them becoming a BT. Sam at the last minute rescues Lou from the incinerator, breaks open their pod and attempts to resuscitate Lou, with only a 30% chance of success, but is successful. Lou is awake and alive when Sam steps out of the incinerator. It’s revealed in a post credits scene that Lou’s full name is Louise. Lou controls Sam’s Odradek which waves BT’s goodbye once they’re defeated and gives a thumbs up when you’re clear of BT’s. When Higgs shoots Sam, Lou uses the Odradek to protect him from the bullets. You can rock Lou, and Lou will give you likes. If you fall off a high ledge or walk in too high water Lou will cry and you need to soothe her by rocking her. Too many attacks from BT’s will give Lou autotoxemia and she needs to go back into her incubator in a private room to recover.
Amelie Strand - Also known as ‘Extinction Entity,’ ‘EE,’ ‘Bridget,’ ‘ Amerigo,’ / DOOMs - Lvl UNKNOWN / Extinction Entity, President of the UCA
Amelie’s story is complex, to start with, she’s shown as someone who soothed Sam on the beach as a child when he had nightmares. She ran Bridges Expedition I which set up the Chiral Network, but was taken hostage in Edge Knot City and is unable to leave because of the terrorists. Sam can speak with her through Chiralgrams and Amelie convinces Sam to travel West and connect up the Chiral Network, Sam does this for her and her alone, as Bridget, the President of the UCA, brought them both up and Sam feels for her strongly. As Sam travels West he hears lots of stories of how wonderful Amelie is but that no one has seen her physically for a long time. Heartman and Sam come to the conclusion Amelie is an Extinction Entity, able to create an extinction and end humanity, that she is powerful and her Beach is greater than any other humans. As Sam gets to Edge Knot City, he reveals Amelie’s location to Higgs who supposedly takes her hostage on the Beach. Sam travels East again so Fragile can jump Sam to Amelie’s Beach, but they realize that actually, Amelie tasked Higgs with speeding up the end of the world, and gave him his powers. The creepy doll’s are Amelie’s version of Bridge Babies with ties to her beach and therefore it’s discovered that she also brought Cliff into the fold, again in an attempt to speed up the end of the world. Sam manages to get to Amelie’s beach, and Amelie said that she didn’t feel she had a choice, extinction was inevitable, and she thought she was doing a kindness by making it quick, Sam convinces her humanity is worth it, and convinces Amelie to hold back extinction as long as possible to give humanity a chance to evolve to avoid it. Whilst Sam is awaiting rescue from the beach, Amelie explains her true story. Amelie reveals Bridget is not her mother, but in fact they’re the same person. At 20 years old an operation meant that Amelie’s Ka and Ha were seperated, her Ha - ages and therefore becomes Bridget so people aren’t suspicious. Amelie and her Ka are stuck on the Beach, but can project herself forward. Amelie created the Chiral network as a part of the Bridges 1 Expedition to speed the extinction process up but increasing the amount of Chiralium in the world. Amelie planted the Bridge Babies at the centre of cities and that’s what she needed Cliff’s child for. When Cliff and the infant Sam are shot by Bridget, Amelie finds Sam on her beach, and sends him back to the ‘real’ world and in doing so grants the world with DOOMs and makes Sam a repatriate. Amelie then helps Sam through the nightmares and gifts him a dream catcher, Sam as a child gifts Amelie with a necklace, Quipu, which becomes a tailsman for their connection and helps them find each other on the beach. Amelie is left on the beach, holding back the antimatter back for what could potentially be hundreds of thousands of years.
Higgs Monaghan - Also known as ‘Peter Englert’ / DOOMs - Lvl 7 / Ex-Porter, Terrorist, Leader of the Homo Demens
Higgs was abused by his father, who he killed and watched become a BT. He worked with Fragile, but betrayed her and became a terrorist, tricking her into sending a nuclear bomb into Middle Knot City. Higgs is a separatist, claiming to be working for the independence of Edge Knot City and wants to stop UCA expansion. Higgs tortures Fragile by sending her into Timefall in her underwear to avoid another city being bombed. Higgs is found to have been given his powers and orders by Amelie, to speed up the extinction. Higgs has the power to summon timefall and BT’s and can control them. Sam chases Higgs to the beach to rescue Amelie when Higgs claims to kidnap her and weakens him, refusing to use weapons to do so. Fragile gives Higgs the choice between being stuck on the beach forever or shooting himself and Higgs chooses to shoot himself. Amelie is presumed to have created the terrorist cells to make the UCA believe building the Chiral Network was the best thing, when in fact that helps to trigger the extinction and also to find an excuse to being using Bridge Babies again. The UCA discontinues BB’s because of ethical grounds, but says that since the terrorists bring the technology back, they must start using them again, when in fact the terrorists are using Amelie’s doll sensors, linked to her beach and drawing their power from there. Higg’s terrorists have no desire for Cargo like MULEs, just to capture Sam and stop him.
