They are already selling data to midjourney, and it's very likely your work is already being used to train their models because you have to OPT OUT of this, not opt in. Very scummy of them to roll this out unannounced.

I made Old Town for the Sims 2!

The neighborhood actually includes lots for every sub-hood in the Sims 1. In this version all lots are empty. I recently-ish rebuilt all Sims 1 lots in the Sims 4 and I am not ready to do that all-over in the Sims 2 right now. 😅

I am confused...

Okay first off, I definetly know that this isnt a cc conflict/issue at all. my game still has the same amount of cc like before, I just got rid of all that bloat in the download folder.

For some reason, I'm guessing this is only happening in my uberhood neighborhood, game game tends to freeze up a bit when building a room/closing up a room with the wall tool, crash if I linger through build/buy mode just for a little bit. This has never happened to me before, I even went ahead and minimized the lot distance to small- still crashing!

I might have to try the 50/50 method (even though i still dont think this issue has anything to do with my cc), or try the dvxk method....

But if anyone has any ideas or suggestions on what could be happening here, please let me know!

Sims 2 PSA

This is a suggestion for the ts2 community to make finding cc easier. It's not a big problem, but sometimes I still make this mistake, so it's also a reminder for myself.

When answering WCIFs, name the cc item or mod, its creators and any other information that would be useful to identify where it came from. Don't just say "It's here" and paste the link. Knowing the information could save a lot of time if the original download post goes down. Include a picture of the item if you can.

Similarly, when you share something, type a descriptive title in text, so it's easier to find through google. Don't just use a title card.

Also, this is not as common anymore, but if you're going to name your cc after a song, make sure your file names include some kind of basic description of the item, or a put a preview picture in your zip/rar/7z file.

I am super into DnD lately and haven't been as active. I am still lurking, but my focus is elsewhere atm. I might use TS2 to create some character art. I really want to do all the stuff, but - y'know - I still have to go to work and eat, sleep and shower, so there is just not enough time to do it all.

mod idea: friendly brawl

A clone of the attack interaction, that is attractive for mean sims. Maybe hot-headed trait or something like it? Like "eat brains" from zombie apocalypse without the zombie part. Useful for gangs and fight clubs.
