I've finally been referred to a psychologist who specialises in autism and after a half hour of conversation she ran down all the little tiks and behaviours I'd shown in that short amount of time and I have never felt so seen

the downside is she can't legally start advising me on how to manage autism specifically until I have an official diagnosis, the process of which will cost me over $3000

she's gonna do her best to help me with what she can in the meantime

despite the looming price overhead, I feel really good about my appointment today 👍 I finally feel like stuff is making sense
