Thinking about how Shamane and Kaalaa's stories are both about the acceptance of nature in different ways. Shamane has to learn about the rules of actual nature and the wild, and has to learn to live with it rather than go against it. While Kaalaa has to accept the true nature of a person she's known for most of her life, and how she has to stop ignoring all of the obvious signs pointing to this person being kind of terrible to not only the people around her but herself.
They were both willing to close their eyes to what was in front of them, because deep down they're both stubborn individuals, but they learn to slowly overcome that through extreme adversity. For Kaalaa she was already an extremely humble person, something that Kumar lacked incredibly, so the thing she earns from her experience isn't a new perspective on life, it's a bittersweet realization where she finally comes to terms with the fact that the person she has loved for all of her life was never the kind of person she wanted them to so desperately be. And in a way she gets to properly grieve this person who has by all means been dead for years (not literally but you know what I mean, like the idea that she built of Kumar had died when she was a child and she hadn't realized it and yeah-)
Shamane and Kaalaa are very similar in this regard, and I love all of their interactions in the Mor Pankh event. They have so much in common like the way their stories are so similar and the way it makes me just think more about this one month long event (Mor Pankh is my favorite event so far can you tell)
