forgot I never posted this. this is the final version of my Rime of the Frostmaiden PC, Zephyrus (aka Zeph)! the campaign ended a few months ago, and he went from wide eyed fish-out-of-water monk/amateur spy to Twilight Cleric multiclass/chosen of Selûne Harper agent! I had a lot of fun with him and he went through some serious character development I did NOT expect

A 100% Human D&D party? What? Yes this is real. The group fought devils together but they still haven’t found a team name. They all have something related to eyes for some reasons. (Heterochromia, blindness, dropping eyelid, eyepatch...) Left to right: Blume: Divine soul sorcerer. Noble who’s pure and emotional. Has a subtle halo constantly where she stands (random ray of sunlight, plants having the perfect angle at the moment, the environment just align, ect) Galilée: Shadowmonk. Totally blind since birth. Ex-Slave. A real softie. Great smile. Has a symbiote-snake devil with discutable morality (Naag) to keep him alive. Noëlle: Crown paladin. Respect women juice. A Badass and strong dumbass who wants to protect her friends and breaks windows. Rueven: Swarmkeeper Ranger. A child. But a serious child with experience. Got power from the sun god. Has a butterfly swarm. Why the eyepatch? Are you even a kid? So mysterious.

I respecced Astarion to be a bard with the college of swords subclass and 😮‍💨 All those two hit slashes and violin heals are 🔥

Dropping by to introduce my new character - Enoch (sometimes also called Porost)! 🌿🐑 They're a firbolg monk trained by the Way of the Shadow. Born in the deepest forests of the continent, though raised in a ruined library led by mostly elven, nerdy necromancers of the Bone Valley. They carry a spear made by the local bone smithing masters. Currently tasked with a mission to protect and keep the many secrets of one of the ancient fortresses and what lies below its numerous floors of black, centuries-old stone. Despite their usual poker face and a serious, collected look, they're quite open to people and maybe just a little bit too curious at times. They would totally join a good tavern crawl to observe the locals, listen to the music, and maybe get into a fight for the fun of it (they don’t drink so it’s extra fun to watch everyone else get woozy). Insight-based skills on top of the usual crazy monk shit, with a little bit of shady magic. I created them for just a handful of sessions with my friend to introduce his old character to a new setting in the same world our main campaign takes place. Hope I'll be able to play them again some time, it was lots of fun!

Recently it was revealed that one of my players' PC's was actually an Aasimar 🖤🧐 We had been planning this twist since the start of planning for the Curse of Strahd campaign, and I'm glad to see it finally happen! Here's some alternatives of the Secret Santa art I did for them, but this time more Aasimar-esq.

Idris Saddah (he/they) 🖤♠️ - Aasimar/Moon Elf Monk (Way of Shadow)

Playing as a dhampir monk in Curse of Strahd is so funny, because my character is so super suspicious, but at the same time going over the threshold of suspicion over into "oh, that's just her, no way she is a half-vampire, that's way too obvious!" Spider Climb? Monks can run up walls at a certain level anyway. Vampiric Bite? Messy unarmed strike. Dark Vision? Shadow Monk subclass gives you a Dark Vision special spell. Doesn't need to breathe? Well, practice of body and mind to hold your breath for a long time.

Things will just go more fuckery from here because I will be able to teleport into shadows and darkness on the next level, what a suspicious way to enter people's homes at night. other suspicious things include feeling awkward entering mansions, getting headaches from light, not being able to swim, failing to open entrances, feeling uneasy around mirrors...

Not me and the DM gaslighting the rest of the group that my character is just a human Shadow Monk.
