how long did it take you to learn how to tie your cravat? it seems very complicated... i have never worn a tie bc i don't know how to tie one...

When I first got it, the tailor could tell I was a little lost, so he showed me and didn't let me leave until I could do a decent job of it. Some days I still need to make two or three attempts before I can get it right, but it gets easier with practice. A mirror is helpful.

If I ever need to replace it, I would consider one that is already tied and fastened to a collar, which is then hidden by a jacket. It would save time on court mornings.

what kind of software stuff do you like to do? :D i am a software engineer myself, been in the field for about 10 yrs now!

I like data archival, data recovery, and infosec, which is to say encryption and breaking things! I'm also a web developer, I've been at that for a few years and I just need some actual time so I can recode a bunch of my website. :p

I don't plan to go into engineering atm, if only because I frankly suck at math any more complicated than polynomials. I am aiming to do more security, though! I'd like to get into the industry, and am honestly debating going for those sweet sweet moneymaking Cisco certs.

12 - what's a headcanon you have for this character?

oh I have like three big ones for him which are canon to every story I write that he appears in, and I can't decide which one I like the most so I'm going to say all of them - I hope that's ok!

the first is that Ashe isn't his birth name (like how Yuri isn't actually called Yuri). As far as I'm aware, Gaspard seems to be one of the smaller areas in the Kingdom, and since Ashe worked in his parents restaurant, I imagine he may have been quite well known to a good few of the townsfolk. So, either when he turned to thievery or when he was taken in by Lonato, I like to think he took on a different name (that name, of course, being Ashe). I usually write his birth name to be Allister.

the second is that silver isn't his natural hair colour. This mainly came from me messing around with colours one time while drawing him and I really liked the idea so I've just been running with it since. I don't know how his hair turned silver (stress maybe??) and I haven't decided on what his natural colour actually is - 50/50 between black and ginger.

and finally, Ashe can see ghosts. He usually doesn't realise he's speaking to them (inspired by his support with Mercedes in Hopes) but he can indeed see and speak to them just fine.

Sylvain’s love language? Oooh okay. To me, he’s a real acts of service guy—words of affirmation are what he’s gotten all his life, his quality time w/ women has been shallow and unfulfilling, and same can be said for gifts. So to me it really seems like he’d be a big acts of service guy, followed by physical touch, like, after everything he’s been through it’d be *those* that /really/ express his love for others, and those that’d /really/ let him know that he’s loved.

do you have ideas for what an ashe/dorothea support would look like? :o

ok, so think about it: they were both orphaned and homeless for a time, but their ideals regarding the nobility are so fundamentally different because of what happened to them before they were taken in by lonato and the opera company respectively. i think it would likely include them finding out about what happened to each other (maybe some more information about what dorothea did to survive 👀) and the aftermath of that. it would also serve as another way to establish differences between adrestia and faerghus (maybe differences on how orphans/the homeless are treated, that sort of thing) and i think would likely include dorothea lamenting how positive and hopeful ashe was despite everything. i also think she’d establish that she thought ashe naive until she found out about his past.

@sevarix-blogs She most certainly does! Euphemia loves good food of all sorts, but she has a weak spot for spicy food (or foods that have a lot of herbs and/or spices in them), and foods that are super comforting (like soups and stews). I think her inclination towards heavy season/spiciness would be moreso because she didn't have it very often for a time due to concerns regarding her fragile health. This diminished her spice tolerance somewhat but didn't diminish her love of spicy food.

I would say her favorite meal of all would be a Pheasant and Vegetable Soup that is normally seasoned generously with herbs and is especially common in the central Leicester Alliance.

Of Garreg Mach's offerings that are actually in Three Houses, her favorites would be Daphnel Stew, Super Spicy Fish Dango, Spicy Fish and Turnip Stew, and Onion Gratin Soup.

Claude has taught her about some of the food from Almyra, and even taught her to make a couple of recipes using ingredient that are more easily available in Fodlan, such as a dish that is similar to the irl dish Dolmeh (grape leaves stuffed with meat and/or grains and herbs).

I like most vegetables, I think? The only ones I can think of disliking are brussel sprouts (though I've never had. Well Cooked brussel sprouts so) and yellow bell peppers [bitter :(]
