Not Worried| B. Bradshaw

Bradley decides to drop off Bianca at the academy after they spent her two week break together in California and meets the man that is taking up her attention

There was an unfamiliar pit in Bradley's stomach as he pulled his Bronco into the front of the dorms where Bianca lived; he had offered to drive her up to the school after they flew into West Virginia together.

Bianca's soft hand reached out and touched his cheek, "Hey you good?"

He turned his head slightly and pressed a kiss to the palm of her hand. "Yeah just."

"I know." She agreed, "If Mav hadn't done that, you would have graduated already and at your first posting. "

He nodded his head and turned the Bronco off. He had always dreamed of following in his father's footsteps and attending the academy but Maverick pulled his papers and caused a huge rift between them and between him and Bianca.

"I could have taken the train up babe and taken the bus from there."

"Bee, you know your father would be livid if I let you do that."

She tilted her head to the side and laughed, he was right and if it wasn't Ice it would be Cougar and that was just too much crap that they didn't need to deal with.

"Come on, I will walk you in." Her eyes narrowed slightly as she studied him, trying to see if he was lying to her. She and his younger sister Maggie were the only two that could tell if he was upset.

"I want to meet this Natasha that took up your attention the other night."

It was true, he wanted to meet the friends that she had here and make sure that Stacey, her older half sister, wasn't causing too many issues for her.

"Hey Kazansky! Looking good!" A male voice called from down the walkway, Bianca had gotten out of the Bronco and had grabbed her backpack from the back, Bradley had stopped her from grabbing the duffel bag.

She leaned back on her heels ready to curse at whoever called at her, hoping to beat Bradley too, he had gotten more protective over her since they started whatever this was two years prior and she wanted to stop a fight from breaking out.

Her annoyance turned into joy. "Hey Javy! Good to see you!"

The boy was by them then and offered her cheeky smile before looking at Bradley.

"Bradley, this is Javy." It took Bradley a moment before he realized who it was and he held out his hand to him.

"Bianca, has told me a lot about you."

"Same with you." He returned a smirk pulling at the corner of his mouth, he had heard a lot about Bradley including their sex life.

"We all thought you were a tall tale."

"Javy! Stop!" She warned as her cheeks colored, she had been drinking the night that all came out and she had been embarrassed then and she was embarrassed now.

She and Bradley had desperately tried to keep their relationship a secret from everyone but Bianca's family and his sister but it was hard when things just spilled out like that.

"Oh, trust me I am very real." Bradley released his hand and heaved the duffel bag out of the back.

Her classmate looked between them and then down and back up, not missing the smirk the older man was wearing.

"Told you. I don't lie."

"You and I are going to have a conversation, Bee." The older man said, the teasing only clear to her.

"Sorry, blame it on the tequila." Bradley shook his head, unlike her father and his siblings or even her grandparents who were partial to vodka, Bianca's weakness was tequila they had all thought that it had to do with Maverick or Charlie.

Giving her friend a dirty look before taking Bradley's free hand in hers and pulling him towards the dorms.

Natasha was already in their dorm tacking up several pictures from their spring break trip the year before when Bianca and Bradley came into the room, "Hey Bee! Its about time you got here.' She said as she turned around and froze seeing the man, she knew him from the few pictures that her roommate had stuck in her journal and hearing his voice just off of camera with the FaceTime calls the two exchanged.

"Nat, this is Bradley. Bradley this my roommate Natasha." Bianca introduced still not letting go of his hand.

It was like she was desperate for that contact with him before they went 4 months without the physical contact.

"It's nice to finally meet you Bradley, she talks a lot about you and about her dads." Natasha was the only one that knew that Maverick was her dad as well.

It was easier for them to pretend that Maverick was just one of Ice's friends than for the truth to be out there.

"Papa and I trust her enough to let her know." She filled in as if she could read his mind and his silent surprise. "She came out with me to Papa's birthday when you couldn't."

Bradley nodded his head and put the duffel down on Bianca's bed, his eyes on her roommate not sure if he could fully trust her.

Giving him a knowing look, she picked up her bathroom stuff and walked into the bathroom.

Once the door was shut, Bradley pulled her into him. his hands sliding into the back pockets of her jeans.

"She likes you for me. Better then Jake." He had heard all about Jake when he picked her up from school and at first he had been jealous.

Hard core jealously, he had wanted to find the boy that was after Bianca and cause a scene but he knew from experience that Bianca wouldn't put up with it.

Maverick had caused one too many scenes growing up and she learned more quickly then Ice did to just not put up with it.

"Bradley."

"Bianca." He smirked, he knew that she knew exactly what he was thinking.

"Jake, is, just a friend. That's it." As much as Bradley wanted to believe her, he couldn't, he knew her just as well as he knew himself if not better.

Sighing he pressed a kiss to her lips, "I don't believe that. I will see you for Christmas, okay?"

He had already been invited to go to Ice's new posting in Hawaii with Bianca to celebrate the holidays, there had been rumors that he was going to be made commander of the Pacific Fleet and he wanted all of his kids, including Bradley and his younger sister Maggie there with him.

Bianca nodded her head, "Text me when you get back to school so I know you are okay."

"Always." He pressed another kiss to her lips and another squeeze to her bottom before he stepped away from her just in time for the door to swing open and the tall golden blonde man stepped into the room, his shaded eyes going first to Bianca then to Bradley.

"Bee, how come I had to hear from Javy that you were here?" He asked as he lowered the shades to look at her with an all too knowing smirk on his mouth.

"Had to drop my stuff off first and have to change into my uniform." Bianca returned, jerking her head towards the pressed khaki uniform that was hanging up on the back of the closet door.

Jake was surprised at that, Bianca was more gun ho then he was about being at the academy and the chance they had after they graduated to go to flight school.

"Who is this?" He asked, finally turning to look at Bradley who was glowering at him.

"This is Bradley." She said, her hand patting his chest in a silent warning, "Bradley this is Jake Seresin."

Bradley could see exactly why Bianca had a crush on Jake, he was handsome like her fathers right down the cocky smirk that was on his mouth.

"Oh, so this is your infamous 'boyfriend.' "

"Jake!' She admonished, surprised, she couldn't believe that he was doing this.

"So what if I am?" The taller man returned, his fingers wrapping around his girlfriend's wrist just in case he needed to move her out of the way; they had both been involved in enough physical fights to know that she would jump between them if needed.

"No reason." Jake smirked, his green eyes cutting to Bianca, it all made a lot more sense now that he saw Bradley in the flesh.

Narrowing his eyes Bradley bent his head down and kissed Bianca again this time lingering longer then he had before.

Trying to prove a point to him.

"I will let you know I get back down to school."

"Be careful." She mumbled, her eyelids still fluttering.

" Always. Jake a word." He ordered before releasing Bianca's wrist from his hold.

"Sure." Jake couldn't help himself, he was cocky, he knew that Bianca wanted him almost as much as he wanted her and he wasn't going to back away from sharing that with him.

Bradley turned to him once they were in the hallway and the door was shut so she could change into her uniform without prying eyes looking in on her.

"Stay away from her." He was short and straight to the point and Jake almost liked that about him.

"I will try to stay away from her, but it will be her that you would have to worry about Bradshaw."

"I am not."
