A year ago I didn’t realize it was Ash Wednesday and my partner and I went to see Magic Mike’s Last Dance and half the audience had ashes on their foreheads.

seems like nobody can escape the blackface in their past except Joni Mitchell. Everybody is falling all over themselves because she’s a thousand years old performing at the grammys and it’s like nobody remembers that in her heyday she was in blackface regularly. Kaniehtiio Horn (charisma out the wazoo. will be a star if I have to take all of hollywood hostage to make it happen)

Sakura Ando (unacknowledged for Shoplifters, better be acknowledged for Monster or else)

Sasha Lane (forgotten too quickly, still doing amazing work)

Roberta Colindrez (has been toeing the threshold to superstardom for years in my opinion)
