hey! i’m back with a request for ur event :D

maybe a scenario of the ubers team dying barou’s hair?

OKAY SO I did a "spending time with the Ubers Team" last week and in that set of headcanons reader didn't actually help. BUT. I changed it for this because it's more fun that way

Dyeing Barou's hair!

Event sypnosis: you, Claire (@deerangle3 ) and Mao (me) are assistants in the Neo Egoist League

-the entire situation is a DISASTER. But the most fun disaster you've ever experienced

-everyone wonders why Barou just decided a night before the match that he wants to dye his hair, but whatever he wants is what he gets

-Oliver and Mao are literally the only ones out of everyone who know how to dye hair because they dye theirs all the time. They do most of the work but they ask you to help even though you've never done that before

-hair down Barou = he looks extra babygirl -> that's already his nickname so he won't hear his actual name from you and the other assistants for the rest of the evening anymore

-Barou complains about anything and everything like "that's too much hair", "that's too little hair", "DON'T TUG MY HAIR LIKE THAT OUCH"

-you ruin like 2 or 3 towels with bleach and hair dye in the process (which Claire carefully hides so no one finds out)

-Niko just sits there and watches, occasionally you ask him what he thinks and he gives you honest opinions, but besides that he doesn't want to get involved in that chaos

-Aryu could help but he's busy panicking about how good or bad it will turn out

-Oliver made a joke about dyeing Aryu's hair next and he went on a 10 minute rant why that will NOT be happening

-you accidentally dropped a bit of hair dye on the floor so now there's a red stain whoops

-Lorenzo laughed at you when that happened so Oliver took some of the leftover bleach and ran after him with it for solid 5 minutes

-Snuffy occasionally checks on how it's going and he's either laughing at what's happening or watches in horror (he's also a bit proud of you for doing well even if it's chaos)

-Sendou makes some comment on how you could do better so you threaten to dye his hair in his sleep. He doesn't think you're serious about it, but just in case he shuts up

-you expected it to take maybe two hours but almost four hours later is when Oliver finally blow dries Barou's hair and that's when you're finished

-Barou really likes how it turned out! That night was also the first time ever you heard him saying "thanks" and he even hugged you for a moment

𓆩♡𓆪 synopsis: After you spend the day together, you ask if they want to spend the night at your house.

🕸 CHIGIRI- He was surprised at first, his eyes slightly open and his mouth half-open, soon regaining his thoughts and smiling openly. “You don’t have to accept it,” “No. I want to stay, yes. If you will allow me.” you bit your mouth, holding back the smile and gave him room to enter your house. The two of you looking at each other, holding back a smile as you guided him to the couch.

🕸KUNIGAMI- He stood in the doorway, staring at you as you’re getting nervous. “It’s too late for you to come back and I-I” you pointed into the house, trying to find words. He chuckled, a hand scratching his nape and his eyes in any corner but you. “I think that would be a good idea.” you noticed the tip of his ears turning red and smiled, pulling him in, saying, “It’s a great idea, actually”. He nodded, hands on your waist and following you.

🕸NIKO- You thought twice before asking and when he froze, face turning red and stuttering, you thought you shouldn’t have spoken. “Forget it.”, “No. It’s just-”, “Sorry, it was too fast.” He grabbed your arm, lifting his head and showing some of the green eye between his hair. “I want to spend the night with you, too.” He said, his face turning redder and his hands shaking on your arm. You smiled, your hand sliding down his, stopping at his neck. “Don’t force yourself.” You kissed his jaw, feeling him swallow hard and sigh heavily. “I want to. Just... Can we take it slow? Inside, I mean.” You laughed softly, kissing him and muttering a ‘whatever you want, pretty boy.’ He returned the kiss and you pushed him into the house, still kissing him calmly.

🕸BAROU- You two were already a few minutes into kissing in front of your door, his hands caressing your waist, and you needed to end the night with something more than kisses. He pulled away slightly, dark eyes roaming your face before asking, “Are you sure? I can go home, I don’t have to-” you held him by the neck, standing on tiptoe and kissing him shut. “I don’t want you to go home. I want you here.” He sighed between kisses, pressing you against the door again. “I want more than kisses, Shoei.” you felt him smile against your neck, muttering something as he turned the key that was already in the door and pushed you into your own house.

🕸ZANTETSU- “But it’s not even dawned and you’re already thinking about food.” he raised an eyebrow, a little surprised. “Are you still hungry? I can get more food” he pointed behind him and you sighed, gesturing your hands, leaving him more lost. You found him the cutest man on earth, the look of someone who hadn’t understood and was still being a gentleman. Damn, he was perfect. “Tsurugi, I want to spend the night with you.” he opened his mouth but stopped him with a finger on his lips. “Together. In my house, in my bed.” you saw perfectly the moment his brain registered what was happening- his eyes widening, mouth opening into an ‘o’, face turning red. “I... I.”, “Yes or no?” you asked, hands on the collar of his t-shirt. He shook his head in affirmation and you pulled him in.

🕸SENDOU- He thought he had heard wrong, asking you to repeat, his hands sweating. You rolled your eyes and said, gesturing, “Do you want to spend the night here with me?” He stared at you for a few seconds, his hands opening and closing and his mouth open. “Oh, for god’s sake, man. I can see you need a little help.” You whispered, pointing to the bulge in his pants from a good few minutes of just kissing on the street. He turned red, pulling away with such forwardness and also embarrassed by his own situation. “Just come in.” You pulled him by the neck, kissing him back as he pushed the door close with his foot.

🕸OLIVER- He offered to spend the night with you, saying it was too late, cold, and you were so pretty and warm. “You’re so full of yourself, Oliver.” You whispered against his mouth, feeling him smile between the kiss, hands squeezing your waist. “I’m not. I just don’t want the night to end.” He lowered the kisses to your neck, making you shiver and pull him closer. “Since you’re being so romantic and offering your body-” He snorted, lifting his face to face you. “I take the offer. I’m really in need of your help.” You grabbed his chin, biting his lower lip. “Who would I be if I refused to help a pretty like you?” You snorted at the romantic line and turned to open the door, feeling him glued to your back. “I’ll help you all night if I have to.”

He is nervous. Nervous in like - heart rapidly beating, sweaty forehead, feeling like he is on fire. But did he show all that on the outside? Of course not, he's the King.

"Shoei are you alright?" Your voice snapped him out of his mind state, wiping his hand across his face to wipe off the sweat.

"Who are those flowers for? Are you planning on confessing to someone?" Oh god. His hand fiddled with his shirt in an attempt to escape the intense heat he was feeling. Is it summer time already?

You leaned against your doorframe, starring daggers into the poor man, clearly suspicious about his unusual behaviour. He was clearly really nervous and yes, the both of you are friends but why is he at your doorstep without even informing you beforhand?

" For You."

"So what is this exactly?" His attention was glued on scrubbing the surface, eyes swiftly glancing at you, floor wiper in hand as one hand rested on your hip, looking at him.

"A date." He walked up to you, taking the wiper from you, eyes nervously glancing away from yours as a grin played itself on your lips. "Cleaning my house?" He scoffed at that. "Well, it's not exactly clean, you know." An offended gasp left your lips as you lightly slapped his shoulder. "Hey! Well there's no kiss in for you today, that's for sure."

You giggled at his shift in expression. "What- wait! I didn't mean-!" You quickly shut him up with a kiss to his lips, leaving him perplexed as you took the wiper back, continuing your previous actions innocently.

OLIVER AIKU

What kind of spell did you cast on this man??? Why was he acting and thinking like this?? Him- the Oliver Aiku, wanting to date someone for good???

"You know, you're acting kind of weird, Oli'." Oh how he loved the nickname you gave him, a cheeky grin adoring his handsome face. "Oh, how come?" "You just seem a bit nervous." He craned his neck in your direction, hetrocromic orbs starring at you. "That's because I am. I have to do something I've never done before."

You laughed at that, his expression turning curious. "What? Bungee jumping?" He giggled at that. "Close one. Actually, I wanted to ask you out." Heat shot up your face, making him laugh in return. "So?"

"So? You're really serious about this?" He nodded at that, bright grin displayed on his lips. "Damn right."

"You really know how to flatter a girl, huh?" You stated, taking the bunch of flowers from his hold, admiring the colorful flowers. "Where did you buy them?"

He put up his hands as an answer, scars decorating his rough hands, impling that he plucked them himself. You hummed in approval, impressed by his efford. "You really are serious about this."

He stepped closer to you, caressing your cheek. "I am. About this - about us. I really want this. If you want it, too." To hide your perplexed expression, you cleared your throat, looking away.

"Don't you think I deserve a kiss for my speech." You playfully roled your eyes, placing a quick peek to his cheek. "Cheeky fool."

SENDOU SHUTO

Oh my god NAHHHH LMFOAOAOAOA

"Just spit it out already!" You irritaded voice caused the man to flinch, nervous smile adoring his handsome features as he rubbed the back of his neck. "I-I don't know how to tell you." you laughed at that, lightly hitting him at the shoulder at that. "Why? Are you gonna ask me out or something?" Your eyes widdened as you saw the young man turn brightly red at your words, lightbulb in your head lighting up.

"I was excited for this the whole month, Shuto!" He still couldn't belief that you actually accepted his weak confession, and even showed up on the date he had planned.

He giggled as he saw your excited expression as the both of you stood infront of the karaoke bar, an advise he got from Oliver. "What are you waiting for?" Your words snapped him out of his thoughts, causing him to flash you a warm smile. "Let's go in!"

He admired you from afar, lovestruck smile on his face as he hummed along to the song you sung to, your bright smile making his heart jump in happiness.

"Don't you want to try too?" He waved you off, saying that he was a horrible singer, but you showed no sign of letting go. "Nuh uh, there's no backing out now. Maybe you'll even get a kiss of you do really well."

There was no way you had to tell him twice as he sprung up to his feet, taking the microphone from your hand as he sang to the song with all his might.

No way he's letting a chance of getting a kiss slip!

I just watched Aquaman 2 and OH MY GOD JUST IMAGINE MAKING IT ABOUT THE ITOSHI BROS (spoilers ahead)

Aquaman!Sae who is so fed up with throne duties, just wanting to spend time with you, his pretty wife, and his son on the surface, maybe fighting some pirates along the way.

Aquaman!Sae who thinks Council members are his biggest problem, but then his old enemy Black Manta!Sendou comes back seeking revenge, injuring you and civilians in the process.

Aquaman!Sae who begrudgingly accepts that his only chance at finding Black Manta is to free his brother from prison on the ruins of the Deserter Kingdom and ask for help.

Aquaman!Sae who can’t help but feel bad for Dethroned King!Rin severely weakened from malnourishment, spending all this time with little water to survive.

Aquaman!Sae who is surprised to see his little brother agree to help him and later voluntarily go back to his cell, so that Atlantis doesn’t go to war with the Fisherman Kingdom.

Aquaman!Sae who’s already regretting trusting his brother when they’re captured by pirates at the Sunken Citadel, having to talk to the Kingfish in exchange for Black Manta!Sendou’s location. They fight their way out and head to the Devil’s Deep.

Aquaman!Sae that tries to convince Rin that the surface has a lot to offer, though the younger is skeptical about that.

Aquaman!Sae who sees his brother touching the Black Trident in the middle of battle and pales when, later, Rin tells the story of the Lost Kingdom and what Sendou is looking for: the blood of royal lineage.

His son.

I spent way too long writing this stupid thing and now I think it’s crap. Bleh

Oliver Aiku x reader

"What's going on with you? At this rate we'll be the laughingstock of Japan."

Aiku ignores Niou. For the first time in his life, he's distracted during a match. He's the captain of the team and their best defender, but he can hardly focus on anything other than you and your teary eyes and broken voice.

It's been two days.

It feels longer.

Aiku doesn't like being away from you for this long and that's what's fucking with him. He doesn't know when he got so attached.

He's Oliver Aiku, for goodness' sake. He doesn't do relationship issues, he usually is the issue itself, and he doesn't exactly do relationships either.

It's the first time he's ashamed of being a so called womanizer. Aiku's past antics have finally come back to bite him in the ass.

"You okay there?" Sendou asks.

Everyone is well aware of the fact that something is wrong. Aiku has been mostly quiet and keeping to himself for the past two days, having only practiced like crazy.

"'m fine." Oliver grunts.

"Get yourself together then." Niou says. "We need you out there."

The team needs him, but Aiku needs you. He feels so lost without you that it's nauseating.

Oliver thinks back to two days prior when several old flings suddenly showed up out of nowhere.

It's not like it was ever a secret that he used to get around, but it all changed when he met you. You're so much more than that, and now you think he's just a shameless cheater.

"Aiku," Niou speaks again. "get your shit together. We're going back out in ten minutes."

Oliver . . . doesn't care.

All he wants is to hold you right now. Aiku is sure you hate him, and why wouldn't you? Before you actually gave him a chance, you rejected him because of his past and reputation, then when you finally gave him a chance you ended up walking in on a bunch of girls all over him. How could anyone not think he was cheating?

If only you would talk to him. Oliver just wants to explain what happened.

He's looking down at his phone, screen black. While he wants to text you, he honestly has no idea what to type out anymore.

Aiku's mind drifts again and he thinks back to two days ago.

What do I say? I should . . . He sighs. Oliver really has no idea what to say. He's already called and texted numerous times but you haven’t answered or replied.

He sees your face in front of him again and he hears your voice echo in his mind, "I knew it. This is what I was scared would happen but you promised and now . . ." You didn't yell at him, but he honestly wishes you had. You just sounded defeated.

Aiku wants to bash his head into the nearest wall in an effort to erase the memory from his mind.

His phone vibrates, barely a minute before half time is over.

It's not from you. Of course it isn't. Oliver doesn't recognize the number, but the bottom of the text says that it's from one of your friends, reading, I was asked to text you that you're being pathetic. Come on, you're better than that.

Asked? Asked by whom? By you?

Aiku gulps. Does that mean you're watching the match from home? You've never actually been interested in sports, but if you're watching even when hurt and pissed at him then maybe . . .

Oliver puts his phone away.

He's still a bit distracted now that the second half has begun, but it's not as bad anymore. He now knows you watched the first half and Oliver hopes you're still watching.

You know a bit about the sport even though you're not a fan, and you've praised him for his skills plenty. It swells his ego like never before to have you tell him he did a great job on the field.

He's thinking about it now while facing the opposing team's striker. If everything between you two was okay right now, he would defend the goal and block the shot, make sure no one would score, his team would win, and he would get to go to you and get praised and smothered with kisses all over his face, he absolutely loves it.

God, he really wants to see you.

It was close, but they won.

The team celebrates but Oliver sits defeated, towel on his head with his hair covering his eyes.

He managed to get his shit together enough to block every shot from the opposing team but now that the match is over he's once again reminded of how you're not there to tell him he did well.

Aiku takes his gloves off and tosses them to the side.

The team notices, but no one says anything. They think he's mentally reprimanding himself for his performance in the first half.

Oliver only got himself together because he knew you were watching, not wanting to disappoint you. Now he wishes he could just hug you and annoy you with endless, "Did you see what I did? I was amazing, wasn't I?"

He grabs his phone, hoping he'll unlock it to find a message from you, but there's nothing.

Nothing, He thinks, locking it again.

Aiku gets up and showers. The team wants to go out for a celebratory dinner but he declines.

That finally makes everyone start to pester him. One is asking what his issue is, another asks if something happened, someone tells him he's acting weird, but Oliver ignores everything.

"I want to be alone." He says, picking his bag up.

What an idiot he is.

You're too good for him, he doesn't deserve you.

Aiku pushes the exit door open and looks up.

"Wha-. . ."

He's dreaming right?

The second your eyes meet you look down, brows furrowing. You look both hurt and anxious, hands balled into fists by your sides, shifting your weight on your feet, just uncomfortable.

Are you uncomfortable because you're finally in his presence again? The question crosses Aiku's mind and he swears he feels actual physical pain.

He drops his bag.

You're honestly caught off guard when he sprints up to you and engulfs you in a near suffocating hug.

Oliver clings to you desperately, pulling you into his chest with a relieved sigh. He nuzzles into your shoulder for a moment, just enjoying the feeling of holding you in his arms again, then turns his head to kiss your kiss and buries his face in the side of your neck. "I never wanted to hurt you." Aiku mumbles.

He sounds so defeated.

You don't do much, only putting a hand on the back of his head. "What happened the other day?" Your voice is small and quiet.

"I don't know." Oliver admits.

"You ever cheated on me?" You ask.

Deep down you know that the answer is no. Oliver dotes on you and never fails to show how much you mean to him. Sure, you had your doubts in the beginning, but he's never given you a reason to think he was fooling around with others.

Oliver gives a soft, "No." and hugs you tighter.

"Okay." You mumble, playing with his hair. "I believe you."

"Yeah?" Aiku sighs in relief. "Thank you."

"It's not easy, though."

"I know." Oliver is well aware of his reputation. He's never cared before, but he does now. He cares because it affects you. "I'm sorry."

"You were really pathetic in the first half." You suddenly say and he snorts, smiling. "Did my message help?"

"Why didn't you text me yourself?" He asks.

"I wanted to see you in person before talking over the phone."

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single football player in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a rival.

Causing immediate excitement among Ego Jinpaichi and his five young wards, Kunigami Rensuke, a wealthy young football player, has rented a nearby stadium in their locality. He arrives in town accompanied by his fashionable teammate Alexis Ness and their good friend, Michael Kaiser. While Kunigami is well-received in the sporting community, Kaiser begins his acquaintance with smug condescension and proud distaste for all the unsigned players.

Kunigami and Chigiri Hyouma begin to grow close despite Jinpaichi’s embarrassing interference and the opposition of Ness, who considers Chigiri athletically inferior.

Isagi Yoichi is stung by Kaiser’s haughty rejection at a local game and decides to match his coldness with his own wit.

I'll reiterate this was a 2am brainrot kind-of idea and I have no scope to actually write this, unfortunately. So if anyone feels like making their own version, go ahead! I claim no ownership haha.

On reflection, I agree Nagi and Reo are more fitting as Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth... if you want to go down the romance route. Nagi is that guy who means well but has no filter and doesn't express himself well. Reo has the spirited attitude of Lizzie and the cleverness/conviction to confront an asshole like Darcy. It definitely helps that Reo's canonically written to resemble a maiden in love 💜

But I envisioned this as a satire regarding rivalry, loosely following the events of P&P. There's no better rivals than Kaisagi IMO. Another good option would be Rin and Isagi as Darcy/Lizzie. Then you could make Sae a reeeeally shady Georgiana and Shidou Wickham. Igaguri can be Lydia lololol

Kunigami as Bingley and Chigiri as Jane is my bias showing - but Chigiri fits well as Jane, the beautiful lovesick sibling who yearns for a rival that has seemingly rejected them (hello, Wild Card Kunigami).

The other castings were fitting characters I personally enjoy to leftover roles. They're not particularly well thought-out. I loooove Barou as Lady Catherine though, especially where Isagi is Lizzie. He has a similar condescending vibe in Blue Lock and again, through the lens of rivalry, their confrontation would be hilarious. Otherwise, Noa or Ego would be fitting as Lady Catherine, playing on the difference in age and footballer status.

Kaiser as Catherine and Ness as Mr. Collins would also work beautifully.

I have Bachira and Rin as Lydia/Wickham because I enjoy their ship, but appreciate they don't fit the characters perfectly. But I can see Bachira running off to become Rin's rival, as well as Rin trying to convince Isagi to be his.

Ego and Noa raising football orphans with very different methodologies? Of course ✨ Isagi being closer to Noa is a nice nod to BLLK canon.

Here's my writing notes, on approaching this:

Take text of certain scenes and moments from P&P and flip them to read as if from Isagi’s perspective. Instead of marriage, it's rivalries, and they're seeking club offers rather than rival offers.

The dialogue should be similar but irreverent. Characters like Sendou and Nagi are present for a gag, rather than any actual serious reason.

So, lift the text from the original, make the dialogue contemporary with high degrees of snark, done!

I won't get scope to do this basically ever, but it's a fun concept. Would love to hear people's thoughts!

The Shakespeare AU I likely will write, when I finish my current WIPs. It'll be A Midsummer Night's Dream, but set in high school, in the same vein as Clueless and Ten Things I Hate About You. I'm excited to get stuck into that, as it'll be multi-ship and heavy on the crack.

my friend and i are both like S rank but pretty much only have experience with solo queue

we thought SendouQ could be a nice change of pace but we, uh, got absolutely curbstomped. our level of coordination compared to our opponents was mediocre at best

do you have any tips on building comp knowledge so the two of us can climb the ranks and do better in more competitive environments?

Yeah sendouq can be pretty rough for people starting out - I think a good place to start is a tournament called It's Dangerous to Go Alone. It's a draft tournament (meaning you sign up by yourself and are assigned a team) and it will pair you up with other players close to your skill level in ranked and X battles and you can play against players of similar skill level as well.

You'll get to meet other players in the competitive scene who can share more info with you as well! I don't currently have the discord link but if you want it just lmk and I'll dig for it later

To find out about more tournaments you should get a sendou-feed channel in your discord which will share upcoming tournaments and their descriptions (you can find out how to do this on the sendou website) if you find these only go for low level events and especially entry level if you can find them.

Also learn from creators on YouTube! There's tons of great ones

Prochara - makes tons of videos, he created his channel to get people interested in competitive and grow the scene. A lot of his videos discuss how good certain weapons are in the game or showcase fun stuff - but he's a good place to start

Squid School - really good videos to watch as someone trying to learn how competitive works and actually strategies to know when starting out. A lot if good basic info

Reborn NA - a bit more advanced advice but literally has the best advice beyond just basics that I've seen. Good for learning how to improve as an individual player. Kind of dry sometimes but the information is always good.

Also learn about weapon roles!!! Really good video on the subject
