Script notes and makeup continuity breakdowns from ‘Loki’ season one (2020). Episodes 3-6. We started at the end of episode six, and worked backward. Together, Tom and I found script markers for every single wound, grass stain, and dirt array. I love the details!!! When we actually shot the very end of episode six with TH in this look, I had just finished his makeup and he bolted out the makeup trailer door in a flash. When I saw him on set, I panicked.... 35 percent of my work had ‘melted’ into his pores. Looked fantastic, but it was 2/3 of what I had planned. He said ‘trust me’, and so I did. That became our routine! I would do my magic, and he would make it a part of him. He would run from the basecamp to the stage or backlot so he could melt the makeup into his pores for a more ‘lived in’ look. It worked, I think. The story told on screen was also reflected in every aspect of his makeup. Look closely and you’ll see my notes to help justify every detail. Of course, it was a collaborative effort. Just....y'all...sighing forever. This Beth is exquisite. It's not something I'd wear (I like shorter dresses). It's not something I would particularly notice in a store or on a runway. It's not even my favourite dress worn by Beth. But this look? In this scene? At this point in the narrative? EVERYTHING. The styling—I adore the bare neck—and her hair and her makeup. All of it great. But the attitude and confidence? I'll never quit you, SeasonOne!Beth.

Woke up at six watched one and a half episodes of young royals e and p are going to school now. It's fun this way, all together, a group thing, takes the pressure off of the episodes too. And it reminds me the mindset i had during seasonone (i mean it was yesterday but still)
