SBG VOICE HEADCANONS !! YUH

Ashlyn:

I feel like she would have a flat voice, but decently smooth. Very medium pitched and almost androgynous sometimes. The best comparison I have is Sara James (sarajamss) on tiktok but just flatter and less expressive lmao.

Aiden:

I think Aiden would have a cold voice if that makes sense. Compare to Ashlyn's i would describe as lukewarm in temperature. High-ish pitched that crackles maybe a bit. Very much a voice you'd hear regularly with kids his age but some sort of twist on it. Sounds more fem ig idk how to describe it. I have no real comparison.

Taylor:

She would have a higher pitched voice but talks and enunciates words as if she has a somewhat deeper voice if that makes sense. Temperature wise her voice would be chilly. Like cloudy 50 degree weather with a breeze (idk why I'm describing voices as weather but oh well). Best comparison is if Himeno and Kobeni from Chainsawman s voices combined.

Tyler:

Atp I'll just start w the temperature. He gives 60 degree weather lightly cloudy with a light breeze. Very average voice but there is something crinkly and welcoming about it. I feel like he would cut of the ends of some words and not realise it. Maybe like a young less theatre-y more spikey Jeremy Jordan?? but not really idk.

Logan:

Angel Devil from Chainsawman English dub but..warmer. He has a warm voice so yuh. High pitched laugh. I really got nothing else.

Ben:

When he could still talk his voice def would be something raw. Very warm temperature wise. Not warm like California warm like a NY forest in July. May be weird to say but like if a tiktok F-boy decided to crush his phone and live in the woods.

This barely made sense but the girlie who get it get and the girlie who don't aren't Chronically online.

BENLOR HEADCANON

ben hums for taylor. that's it, that's all. LISTEN, i feel like after finding out ben used to sing for lily (and after tyler offered to teach ben a few guitar lessons), taylor was left with the longing of wanting to hear ben sing. of course, it doesn't happen because that would be too much for him, BUT, he picked up the habit of getting taylor's hand and placing it on his chest so she can feel his humming.

whenever the clock is about to strike 12 a.m., they all huddle together to fall asleep, and taylor always looks forward to lying on top of ben's chest to hear him. she is very fond of this gesture because ben is making a sacrifice to use his voice box just for her, but it's no problem for ben at all because he knows this calms taylor down. plus, it's the closest taylor will be to hearing ben's voice besides the times he scares the shit out of the rest when he talks out of nowhere (that's from another headcanon of mine that you can read here).

- ash will randomly get the shakes after everything that happened in the phantom dimension, if you look through her phone camera roll a lot of the pictures are blurry because she cant stop her hands from shaking

- ^ aiden lends her his rubix cube (other fidget toys) to try and help her calm down and give her something else to focus on

- taylor lovesss rollercoasters and will always drag tyler along, tyler isn’t terrified but they’re definitely not his favorite

- logan has a pair of converse that he needs to retire so bad, these shoes are hanging on by a thread its so bad 😭

- aiden can fall asleep anywhere, like tf are you doing in the sink??? (if he didnt have insomnia. we all seen those eyebags he dont sleep lol)

- ben is really quiet when he walks so sometimes he’ll just appear behind you and scare the shit out of you

- when the group needs bait/a distraction everyone always turns to tyler and taylor. they use the “get help” strategy, its usually tyler leaning on taylor like hes hurt and taylor screaming for help (guys say yk what im talking about 😔, thor and loki?)

- aiden trying to lighten the mood after being in the phantom dimension: so.. smash or pass?

everyone else: 😐

- aiden the type to tell the exact same story 15 times to the group forgetting hes already told them the story but they listen every single time too

- logan knows how to breakdance??? he just busted it out randomly one day and everyone was floored 😭💀

- when ben is mad/annoyed he does that thing cats do where he’ll just slowly slide something off a shelf or table onto the floor

- group went roller skating once and obviously ash was amazing at it, and ben, taylor, and logan were pretty good as well but meanwhile aiden and tyler were just either tripping eachother, holding on to eachother for support or dying laughing when one of them fell and ate shit

- in class they were assigned those fake babies you have to take care of, logan? amazing at it but was so tired afterwards. ben? pretty good but is a heavy sleeper so slept through the baby crying. taylor and tyler made a good team but tyler almost lost his mind when the baby would just non stop cry. ash evil eyed this thing the whole time, would carry it around by the head 😭 also had her headphones on 24/7 because she couldn’t stand the noise. aiden left his in the freezer, and then couldnt find it for days.

- ben is INCREDIBLE at carnival games, even the rigged ones. the people that own the game booths have genuine beef with ben lmaoo

ashlyn:

likes when it rains (not drizzle, but not storming either)

usually wakes up early because/if not of the phantom realm, but stays in bed until late morning/afternoon

aiden:

either paints his nails all black or random neon/bright colors (pink on thumb, green on index, red on middle, etc)

likes it if someone's shorter than them, but if they're taller he calls them bigfoot (<- towards people he doesn't know much)

ben:

he has a wall full of notes and post-its with lyrics from songs he likes

has a secret 'language' with aiden (aiden's idea obviously) where they use numbers instead of letters while texting each other (not the whole group tho)

taylor:

if she buys something she always gets a buy 1 get 1 free or 2 for 1 so tyler can have the same thing too

prefers calling over texting (unless she's busy)

tyler:

the type of person to buy 2 of the same shirts so that he can wear either for multiple days while waiting for the other to become clean

if really emotional or sad he brushes his knuckles against someone else's/his friend's for comfort (he's not touchy-feely tho)

logan:

usually always makes/has home-cooked meals but if he doesn't have time he toasts bread and makes tea

Savanna Squad Presentation Night Headcanons/mini fic [1/3]

splitting this into three headcanon parts because my god its long

eat up :]

Part 1: Taylor & Logan Part 2: Ben & Tyler Part 3: Aiden & Ashlyn [WIP]

Ashlyn's POV

So the question is: How did we get here? Simple answer really. Taylor. She was always the one to suggest these kinds of things, team building hang outs, though last time it was just us.

The rest of the boys had plans. Tyler had practice to attend, one of the late kinds, Ben and Logan had a project together due for bio in a day or two, and Aiden, for some reason, had a late dentist appointment (much to his dismay). Only Taylor could make it to the graveyard early. Initially, we were just meant to manage our resources, which was manageable with one person, but it was always easier with other people to bounce ideas off of. That's all it was meant to be, but Taylor had other ideas.

"Girls night!!" She had cheered, and we just hung out.

And I had fun.

But as Logan fights with his laptop to mirror on the T.V for the presenters, that being us, I can't help but feel like I'm going to regret this one. Especially with Tweedledee and Tweedledum in the background yelling about something that I don't want to know about, but will probably learn against my will.

Just as Taylor and Ben come downstairs with blankets and pillows, Logan's T.V finally projects the wallpaper of his laptop.

"It's set up, thank god," he sighs, with that last part being under his breathe. And as we set up in his living room, Ben dragging Aiden and Tyler from the kitchen, both with bags of snacks in their arms, and Taylor handing out blankets, we finally sit in our places.

The next question, however, is Who goes first?

Taylor Hernandez

Taylor goes first because she's the one who planned it and was the most excited about it. Aiden tried to go first, but it was collectively agreed that he would be going last for no reason other than to piss him off lmao

Anyways, we love a STEM girl (be still my own heart) so her presentation would be all about her tools and work for the mechanics club. She takes this club seriously, not only because it's good for networking, but because she genuinely finds it fun. I like to think that there are two levels to the club where one is just a standard club and the second level is a competition team, and she was shooting to be a part of the competition league (totally not projecting because I'm a robotics kid)

Her presentation is so well done. It's not only really well organized, but it is just so pretty. It's the type of presentation that teachers would drool over. Avid Canva user b/c it has a lot of customization options that she loves.

What's a toolbox tour without the actual toolbox that's just as decorated as her slideshow. And she takes care of it, too.

Her presentation is so fun and sets a fun tune for the night, and she manages to make this topic really engaging. She would have a little quiz at the end, too, where if one of the group gets a question correct, they get a piece of candy

shows off tools like she's filming a makeup tutorial, I saw this on tumblr, and it's just canon at this point. No criticisms are accepted because it just isn't possible.

Group's reaction

Ashlyn and Ben are the ones who pay the most attention to the presentation. Ashlyn also gets the most questions right at the end of the quiz.

Logan asks the most questions in between slides, but not in an annoying way. He does get a bit lost, though, considering just how many tools there are.

Tyler and Aiden are still bickering a bit. Aiden can't sit still for the life of himself, but he swears that he is listening. Tyler would say otherwise.

Aiden is, though, and he ends up getting Taylor a really nice tool set that she mentioned she wanted when presenting just because he can. He is her favorite for a few days. He absolutely would have a shit eating grin looking at Tyler to just say, "See, I was listening :D". Tyler would then say that he could go fuck himself /hj

Logan Fields

Logan is next. The laptop hates him, and it's old and shuts down multiple times in his presentation. The group then had to watch this man fight with a busted 4-year-old laptop and lose several times. Have you ever seen your parents fight with a printer the night before you have a school project due? It's like that, and the rest are concerned.

He is an astrology bitch, and I will take no criticisms. But like, not in the way that it controls his life, he would not be caught dead saying that the stars told him to do something, like not let him eat alfredo on Sunday or something like that. He's more interested in the concept itself since the idea of zodiacs have existed for so long. Its his comfort research topic.

Absolutely went HAM on researching each and every one of their birth charts. Ask him to show you his notes, and he would not show you. Why??? because he took up an entire notepad (it's one of the smaller ones but still).

"Logan's so innocent" "Logan's so sweet" "My boy can do no wro-" NO!!!! THAT MOTHERFUCKER WILL READ YOU TO FILTH AND I STAND BY THIS. ITS LIKE HE LOOKED YOUR SOUL, UP AND DOWN, AND EXPOSED IT FOR THE WORLD TO SEE (something tells me Tyler gets it the worse. idk why it just feels right)!!! If he feels like something doesn't fit one of the people in the group he is clear about it

"Here is Gemini, a social butterfly. Here is Ashlyn. A Gemini. I love Ashlyn, but like a year ago I have actually seen you jump a fence to avoid a group of people who go to our high school without thinking, and I would say that needs an intervention but you'd also avoid it by jumping a fence." "..."

The presentation itself is long as hell. Like he goes in depth about everything that he talks about, and if you interrupt him, he will shoot you with a spray bottle. Did I mention there's a group spray bottle? Guess why they have one.

Somehow, he is still only the second longest presentation.

Group's Reaction

Taylor is his biggest hypeman. I feel like she'd also enjoy astrology a bit, too, though she's more of a casual fan. She is also one of the few people who is free from Logan's jabs.

Ben is also free from his jabs because he helped him with the laptop, which, thank god, because Logan was about to lose it. I don't think he really believes in astrology. The most he knows is his sun sign on the surface level. He is invested, though.

Don't think Ash is very interested in astrology either, and at some points in his presentation, he just loses her attention.

Tyler gets sprayed at least twice with the spray bottle because he gets defensive. Surprisingly, I do think he would be somewhat interested and knowledgeable about his star signs at least, mainly because he had to deal with Taylor when she went through an astrology phase (let me tell you it was brutal).

Aiden is also interested and engaged in the presentation, but maybe a little too much. What I mean is that he interrupts at points and is the reason why the spray bottle exists. Logan is flattered, but istg Aiden if you interrupt this man one more time...

By the end of the two presentations, the group is in pretty high spirits and having a good time, despite the fact that two of them are a bit wet.

Logan's laptop, however, is not, and just as they were setting up Ben's powerpoint, it decides that it was a good time to perform a mandatory update and restarts.

Absolute silence.

You could hear a pin drop.

And all eyes go to Logan.

"..."

"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!?!"

Long story short, the presentations have to be postponed for around an hour and forty-eight minutes (maybe you never know with computers), and Logan is taking a walk.

MORE ASHDEN HEADCANONS

-Aiden keeps buying them ugly matching couples shirts ("If lost return to owner"/"Owner", "Stupid"/"I'm with stupid") which Ash will only wear as pajamas or if she needs to "wear something she doesn't mind getting dirty"

-Steals his hoodies when she's at his house cuz it's always cold there. One time when she was upset she kinda just. Wriggled into his hoodie while he was still wearing it. Aiden pretty much went to heaven.

-Ash helps dye his hair because oh my god his hair is SO DAMAGED. She actually knows a lot about haircare since hers is so long and she needs to take care of it well :)

-hes rich so. If Ash mentions something off handedly that she wants something or to do something he'll get her it. Oh her coffee maker broke? Espresso machine on the counter literally the next day. Ash is (usually) put off by this but she doesn't really say anything because the gifts are very practical (like these super good noise canceling headphones)

-aiden: my girl mad at me

Aiden: I hope I die

Ash: 1) all I said was for you to put your socks away and 2) I'm literally in the room next to you come here.

-He thinks she's so awesome. Like she could just be stretching and he's like "I'm so lucky fr God sent me a little red haired angel who could whoop my ass ❤️". Deeeeeep down she's flattered.

-will ALWAYS offer her some of his food if they're going out together. For Ash it's 50/50 lol

-His favourite thing ever is just. Pushing her bangs back and giving her a little forehead kiss. :). It's one of the things that makes Ash implode and get flustered so that's a bonus.

-Chronically staring at her. If she falls asleep at school he will be staring at her too because he's a weirdo like that 💖 She looks so cute all the time, it's not his fault >:0

-first time she said "I love you" was when she was mad at him lmao 🤡 He did some shit and got seriously injured so she was just yelling at him asking if he thought she didn't care about him or love him. LITERALLY slapped her hand over her mouth. Tried to get up to hug her and he messed up his ribs even more lol

Random ass head cannons I have for SBG gang yuh let's go:

Note/Update: Disregard the eye color thing for Aiden cuz the author has confirmed that his eyes are contacts ✨

Tyler will call people he likes (platonic or romantic) princess regardless of gender, mostly uses it when he's teasing them or in like idk a passive aggressive way. Like "No shit, princess." Or "Okay princes, calm down." Always paired with an eye roll tho.

Taylor hates Taylor Swift because of the annoying jokes people do with her name.

Adding to the last one, Aiden found that out when he made a joke once and she looked like she was about to throw him out the window lol.

Logan has helped everyone get their zodiac charts and read them. He fucking memorized them too. Little nerdy boy <3

Ashlyn doesn't initiate physical touch(hugs, hand holding, cuddling, ect) with people often (cannon btw), but when she does it always makes whoever was chosen feel special.

Ben listens to literally everything. All music. He's polyjamours.

Tyler is actually pretty good at guitar and was something he's liked since a kid, he loves music with heavy guitar in it. He also named his guitar Mel, like Melody. Only people to touch it was Taylor and Ben.

I see some people say Tyler has Logan tutor him but like. No? Tyler is hella smart and doesn't need to be tutored? Like c'mon. BUT Logan does have Tyler help him work out (Logan's body before and after phantom realm goes crazy man) after the whole almost died to phantom thing.

Aiden use to experiment with hair dye before he fell in love with blond. Also his eyes are red, it's not contacts. It's just his eye color lightening s he aged or smt. Fight me.

Ashlyn hates sour food and loves the more bitter stuff. Aiden loves sour food and hates bitter stuff. They trade food sometimes so they don't have to suffer.

Ben and Aiden know ASL, Taylor is learning to talk to Ben better.

Logan can draw but he doesn't do it often but he loves to watch Ben draw. It makes him want to draw too.

Taylor draws on her friends arms, Tyler will pretend to hate it same with Ash but they always ask her to redraw things when they fade. Aiden once had Taylor do an detailed tattoo like design on his arm in class. It didn't wash of for almost three weeks.

Aiden actually has sensitive skin, the wrong fabric gives him rashes. No one but him knows what fabric won't, it's all based on touch.

Tyler can cook really well, and even enjoys it sometimes. Can't bake for shit though.

Aiden knows ballroom dancing. Rich families or old fashioned one tend to know how to ballroom dance (I use to know)

Kinda messy but can write cleaner if he puts effort in.

Small but non-cursive writing. Likes making all the capital and lowercase letters uniform in size respectively. Her handwriting isn't always this clean tho

I changed writing utensils based on personality/headcanoning preferences but all these writing styles could be translated to abt any utensil. I tried to make them all a little messy cuz they are 15 year old students who pull all nighters trying not to die they aren't exactly gods lmao

sbg headcanons pt. 2!!

- aiden steals traffic cones, he has several in his room (tyler got stuck in one of those big round ones, tripped and almost rolled into traffic if it hadnt been for logan who threw himself in front of it. taylor was also in one and wanted a pic for her social media so she convinced tyler to put one on too, thats how it happened 😭)

- ben is the type to trade shirts if the girls are feeling uncomfortable, just imagine taylor in bens baggy ass shirt and ben is wearing some cute little crop top lmaooo hes to sweet

- tyler the type to sit in the weirdest places, perfectly good chair?? nah he’s sitting precariously on an open windowsill (yes he did fall out of it once and it was actually aiden who jumped out after him because he was closest)

- when ash was little she would bring home all kinds of animals, her parents would have to search her pockets everytime she came back in from outside and they’d find all kinds of frogs, harmless snakes, bugs, baby birds (she has raised several birds)

- aiden will not move until he’s chosen music for the drive, he once stepped on a nail but refused to drive to the hospital until his bluetooth connected in the car and everyone was yelling at him

- building onto the bird thing and ashlyn, she’s befriended a murder of crows and has a ton of weird little trinkets theyve brought her because she feeds them in return

The Savannah Kids Headcanons (Mostly stupid or smth)

-It would be a funny thing if Aiden were to drive a car the others would be scared to death because of Aiden's recklessness.

-At some point Logan and Ash are comfortable with each other that Logan can freely go in Ash's house. Mike and Emma don't mind it and they welcome him like he's also their child.

-Whenever there's thunderstorms Ashlyn would be under her blankets with her noise cancelling headphones on and would say to herself "I'm a teenager, I'm not a child so I'm not going to my parents" only to find herself cuddled up to her parents 1 minute later.

-Speaking of thunderstorms the twins also can't handle them and would go to their mother.

-Whenever Logan wants to visit Ash at midnight he would text her and the first thing he says is 'knock knock I know you're in there come out now'. At some times Ashlyn would mistaken him as a hacker that knows her address so now she has a bat on her side of the bed and would carry it when Logan messages her. (Sometimes would hit Logan, but Logan would dodge it because it's becoming a routine)

-When Tyler and Ashlyn get mad at each other the others form a circle around them and bet who's going to win the battle.

-Ashlyn and Logan once found a dog. Whenever Aiden tries to recklessly play with it Ashlyn beats the shit out of him mentally. Logan tries to set it free because it kept on shitting.

-Speaking of dogs since Logan keeps on forcing Ash to watch horror movies, as a payback she let's loose a random stray dog in Logan's room and the dog ended up shitting next to Logan.

-Ashlyn has a soft spot for dogs. Whenever she's infuriated at Aiden he would pull out a random picture of a puppy and she would go "aww". It's Aiden's only chance of living.

-When Aiden plays monopoly he would laugh like a mad man every time he does something. He also used the money as a fan to give "rich kid vibes".

-They share the same playlist. Aiden would add questionable songs and Taylor or Tyler would be the ones to remove them to save the other's innocence (if they have one).

-When Tyler's angry as fuck he would use a nearby object no matter how heavy it is as a weapon and would throw it at someone. If he can't, he'll destroy it. If he can't then he'll use his shoe (inspired by a fellow classmate of mine)

-As a child when Aiden was home alone he would jump down the stairs to feel adrenaline and when he broke one of his ankles he would walk it off (based on a true story of mine ig)

-When the gang was hanging out in Ash's house Ashlyn once let out a loud, blood curling, ear piercing scream. Only because there was a snake in the kitchen.

-Ben and Taylor are scared of My Little Pony because Aiden showed them those MLP infected slideshows on tiktok.

-When Tyler first played baseball he accidentally threw the bat when he tried to hit the ball and the ball ended up hitting his nose.

Yeah that's all ig. They're pretty stupid and inaccurate.

random school bus graveyard headcanons

// with aiden/ashlyn & ben/taylor & logan/tyler <3 //

warnings: weed/smoking, swearing

[cut off cause this got rlly long whoops]

Ash is bi & Aiden is pan

Taylor & Ben are both asexual but also hopeless romantics

Tyler is bi & Logan is gay

Taylor does Ben’s nails on weekends

Tyler tries to teach Logan how to play baseball (he’s semi successful)

Ash is paramore fan (p sure this is just canon atp)

Aiden loves all those dystopian movies and forces Tyler to watch them when he finds out he’s never seen them (ie hunger games, the maze runner, divergent etc.)

Aiden’s best subject is math and his worst is English, Ash is the same way

Taylor’s best subjects are science & math, her worst is art (she just can’t draw okay)

Tyler’s best subject is gym but as far as academics go he’s pretty good at history, he sucks at science tho

Logan’s best subject is obvi science, he honestly does good in everything, but he doesn’t like language that much

Taylor carry’s extra ear plugs/headphones/notebooks & pens for Ben & Ash (or anyone who might need them)

Tyler can braid better than Taylor can (he would do her hair growing up)

Aiden & Ash are adhd vs autism

Logan and Taylor hold hands when they’re anxious

Aiden can play the guitar & drums

Ben can also play the guitar but he prefers acoustic whereas Aiden likes electric

Tyler can play guitar but he prefers to play the trumpet (he’s rlly good)

Taylor can sing but she only does around Ben - he totally doesn’t cry nope totally not -

Ash can play the Harp (stealing that from someone else’s hc post <3) but she can also play violin & piano (multitalented queen)

Aiden & Ash link pinkies while sitting on the bus if Ash is feeling particularly pda strong

the whole group goes to cheer on Tyler’s baseball games

Logan now has a first aid kit in his locker from dating Tyler and being friends with Aiden

Aiden has a medical card for medical weed and he definitely abuses that shit

the first time Ashlyn gets high it relaxes her so much she’s convinced she’s dying for a hot minute

Logan & Taylor don’t like being high, Ben is indifferent to it, Aiden, Ashlyn & Tyler enjoy it throughly

It calms Aiden & Tyler down a lot

Taylor & Ben are the only ones capable of sitting in a chair like a normal person

Aiden & Ben smuggle good food into the hospital for Tyler

Tyler gives Logan forehead kisses

Ben kisses the top of Taylor’s hand

Aiden kisses the tip of Ash’s nose - Ash kisses his cheek

everyone is always finding Ashlyn hair in everything cause she sheds so much

Logan & Ben are Star Wars fans

Aiden is the first one to get his official license - to everyone’s horror -

Tyler is the last one to get his license (he’s so mad about it)

Ashlyn still sleeps with a stuffed animal and has a tote of them in her closet — she hides this for months until Ben finds them one day and casually adopts them all with Taylor

Aiden runs like a space heater as does Taylor

Ash & Ben both run superrrr cold

Logan and Tyler have normal temperatures, the freaks /j

Ben carry’s an inhaler because Aiden got asthma attacks as a kid - he hasn’t had one since he was like 7 but Ben likes to be prepared

If he gets hyper focused enough Aiden will go non-verbal / won’t acknowledge the outside world to the point of Ben having to write down responses for him

Aiden & Tyler can skateboard

Taylor can rollerskate & she teaches Logan how to too

Ashlyn is a god at ice skating

Ben prefers to stay on his own two feet thank you very much

Tyler’s terrified of dogs and screams for Taylor anytime one comes near him

Animals naturally love Ashlyn, Taylor’s jealous

Aiden is one of those people that will spend five minutes in a backyard and pick up three frogs, a lizard, a scarily big spider, two beetles and point out where a snake is

birds really like Ben - he doesn’t know why

Aiden & Ben are really good at art, but with totally different styles

Ben prefers realism and charcoal pieces

Aiden prefers more stylized art, markers & paints

Aiden did graffiti for a while and still would if he ever had the time (stupid phantoms) - when Ash finds out she lets him tag the buses in the graveyard and he’s so excited about it

Aiden & Tyler play basketball together on the weekends while the others watch/mess with them the entire time

If Tyler’s being particularly cocky about winning against Aiden then Ben will step in cause he’s naturally really good at basketball

Taylor and Logan always giggle watching Tyler’s face fall seeing Ben stand up

Ashlyn doesn’t mind when Aiden loses because then she gets to use it as an excuse for them to go get ice cream to “make the loss easier” (aiden knows she does that every time because she also asks to go out for ice cream if he wins to celebrate)

Taylor lets Aiden try on her lip gloss once and now he has his own collection and keeps some on him at all times — mostly just clear ones or sparkly light pink ones that aren’t super noticeable but still leaves a shine

Tyler uses like ten separate hair products daily - him & Ash take the longest to do their hair out of the whole group
