whenever i listen to the fire is gone i am filled with such love for this game and i really cant explain it. something about this song. i'm always reminded of how it felt to play the game for the first time and how happy it made me. i dont want to call it nostalgia but it sure is something

really appreciate how for the 30th anniversary concert they gave meta knight a fake-out saxophone in the promo art only to reveal during the concert that his suite is composed of 99% electric guitar solos

#and approximately 0% saxophone #i imagine a large reason why is he had to share that suite with the other three knights who do use a Lot of electric guitar #namely galacta knight who i'm pretty sure uses it exclusively #but it's still real funny #kirby #meta knight #y'know what's also funny is looking at that promo art and just laughing at the lineup given like #marx is on the guitar despite the fact he does not possess arms #waddle dee has a trumpet he can neither reach the buttons for nor play with his nonexistent mouth so it's just hovering in place on his face #really top tier stuff #strangely kirby in a t-shirt is the most confusing part of the whole ensemble though #my art #doodles #kirby 30th anniversary concert

The romanticism around playing an instrument by people into dark academia is very flattering but as a musician, shit is def more gremlin/chaos core

Gremlin shit band kids do that I have seen firsthand:

- fix instruments with makeshift tools, examples include: rusty dirty spoon, shoe laces, rubber bands, duct tape, hair ties, broken stand leg, French horn mouthpiece, ice and a lighter

- graffiti stands

- the only song we all know is and are willing to sing is "I want it that way" by the Backstreet Boys

- left school at 1 and 2 am

- arrived at school at 3 am and left at 4 am

- collect useless broken pbjects

- keep a pair of broken sticks and continue to use them just to see how fucked up they get by the end of the season

- drink straight energy mio

- sleep in locked lockers, tuba cases, and practice rooms to avoid class (the locker kid was skipping a band class that was happening in the room he was sleeping in)

- switch mouthpieces with mismatched horns to see what funky noises we can get example: trombone mouthpiece on a barisax, bassoon bocal on a euphonium

- find random pieces of wooden planks and draw faces on them and make them sworn enemies

- hide a brick for future generations to find

- spray paint your name on the auditorium garage door for future generations to find

- hide photos of your band director in different places for him to find

- using student's lost picture day magnets to hold up papers on the white board

- having pockets full of random mouthpieces and trading them like cards in the middle of rehearsal

Headcanon #57: Heart is the only one that knows how to play a wind instrument, that being the Alto Saxophone. (since an actual saxophone is only ever used in The Heart Acoustic)

as someone who was in my school's band for 3 years these are my hcs on what the foxes would play: kevin on trumpet, neil on trombone, andrew on percussion, allison on clarinet, renee on french horn, aaron on sax, dan on percussion, matt on tuba, nicky on baritone, (seth played tuba until he quit)
